The best weather app ever! We rely on this app for events, traveling, day to day, minute to minute activities, as well as, severe weather! We also use the radar for our family & friends in other neighboring states! The best weather team in Ohio!! Thank you💕
Sorry but your app isn’t accurate…I will watch you live for weather updates which are fine but any an all notifications from your weather app are always about Buffalo NY or more west never about Rochester NY. As an example your notifications kept saying major rain, lots of wind just recently but it was all Buffalo or more west not actually where I live it is always wrong. I can’t ever believe them. Notifications should be sent based on the app users location & nothing else.
This app is very user friendly and is an easy way to access information about the forecast and weather. I also love the video clips regarding the meteorologists. They allow you to watch previous recordings of their weather forecast segments incase you missed them on T.V.
I don’t like the satellite radar map view that you have in your app at the present time. Would like much better, the view that you have on TV, which is a brighter view. The satellite view that you have now, is to dark and the city’s and towns affect the radar view. Please change the satellite radar map view, to the view you have on TV. Thanks
Love the app! I work outside year round and I depend on a accurate forecast to dress for the weather. It’s easy to navigate, the videos are short and to the point and it looks good too!
I downloaded the app and all was ok for a few days then every single time I would open the app the location would default to Toledo Ohio and I live in Alabama. I would delete the Ohio location from the menu and then every time I would open the app back up it would be right back to Toledo Ohio I don’t understand it. I deleted the app🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️.
The main problem I have is that the radar sometimes blanks out at the current moment. It can be hard to get the current radar, and the radar view is sometimes "jumpy".
The notifications are either on or off. It offers custom alerts so I only want severe alerts and set it up for that. Got woke up this morning with “Jay has an update on Saturday rain chances” and “coats in the morning and shorts in the afternoon” I have it set for severe weather alerts but still get this fair weather crap early in the morning! Did I mention have it set for severe weather only. Well not anymore .... NO notifications
Why isn’t the app showing the latest news forecasts? Tonight I look for weather and it shows the news forecast from 15hrs ago. It used to show the latest news forecast within the hr of the broadcast weatherman’s forecast.
It frequently has conflicting information and wastes my time. The current temperature reads 26 degrees while the low temp for the day reads 38 degrees. Also it makes me stare at a Marcos pizza ad for 5 seconds every time I open the app. I’m starting to have a violent anger towards Marcos pizza and have never been less likely to buy it.
I have a lot of weather apps, but this is a great NW OH specific one. I’m super amused hearing Jay every time there’s a weather alert. I just wish it were ad-free! I would pay! It’s just so many ads for Marcos pizza and I get hungry.
The ads with the audio up that pop when you open the app are terrible! I open the app at work to check a breaking story alert and an ad immediately blares out at top volume. Less than subtle. I don’t mind ads. You have to pay the bills, I get it. More, if I’m clicking on a video, I’m prepared for the audio. But on app start?? Too much.
Only weather app I have ever had that when opened immediately makes you view a marcos pizza ad for 20 seconds before letting you view any weather. Also, and more importantly is this app despite several uninstalls and downloads has never been able to allow more than one alert location. The radar also very low resolution. Not for me!
Whatever you did to the weather app has totally screwed it up. Same with the weather link on the news app — there’s no weather there. Tried deleting and reinstalling the weather app and it was fine. But a couple hours later it opens but there’s no weather there. What th’?
With all this so called fancy equipment it amazes me that no weather station can forecast severe weather timing and where it will hit till after the fact. Would be better off if you told everyone you do not have a clue and will just have to wait and see.
This is potential life saving service! Make it as easy and accessible as possible. If you’re headlining “severe storms on the way” in red, please let the user see the video without 45 seconds of garbage ads.
I HATE this new app. I feel it doesn’t show me anything. Bring back the old one or incorporate all of the previous things from the old one into this god awful one. I am so close to dumping channel 13 altogether and switching to channel 11.
An alert should notify of something IMPORTANT. Just received an alert for Warmer Weather Coming. Love getting alerts when they are useful. Continued vanity alerts will cause me to delete and get my information elsewhere.
Over. time the advertising has become ponderous and the weather has taken a cheap seat o repeat advertising. How many times Must we sit through needlessly long , repetitive ads?
I use this app many times a day. Most of the time it won't load. It has been this way for a week or so. One of your options is to switch to cellular. I do not have cellular on my iPad. Please fix this app. It doesn't work on my iPad or my iPhone.
Don’t like wasting time on the very long ad time to get the info. Would rather read the post than wait for video:( Booooo…. Going to other weather sites for info
used to be able to skip adds we just want to see the radar hour by hour stop skipping ahead on the videos we dont need your commentary either just show the radar in 15 minute intervals and return the skip add option ready to switch to channel 11 or 24 app
I have deleted Toledo from my location, reinstalled the app, selected Houston as my location: nothing stops it from giving me the weather in Toledo Ohio.
I have 5 weather apps and not a single one is the same as the next. U guys don’t update ur app to what u say on the news and also ur temps for the day r usually wrong
