Crashing app
While this is a great app when it works, it rarely works. I have three different banking apps and this one is my favorite as far as how it is set up and so user friendly, however, every single time I open the app, it crashes. It has been doing this for several months now. I’ve taken it into the bank and they can’t figure out the issue either. It’s super frustrating and if it continues I’m going to have to close my account at 3 Rivers. I have to have access to my account and I do not want to have to close my account so please resolve this issue.

Check Off Paid Items
One thing I can’t stand about this “new” app is unlike before where we had the option to check off when an item had been paid, that feature is no longer available on this new app. I simply can’t understand why we don’t have access to that!! It seems like such a small thing to include, it was on the last one, and it was so helpful to stay up to date as we reconcile our checkbook with our account!! We have mentioned this a few times and we are met with responses that seem to just brush off this small but big item. So, I ask straight forward, is there any plan whatsoever to add that feature to this banking app anytime soon or even at all??

Great for banking
The app does everything I need to monitor my accounts. I love the credit sense feature and the spending analytics is decent. I do have 2 recommendations to the developers: I wish the card control was integrated into the app so that I don’t have 2 separate apps. It would also be nice to have a better budgeting tool as most of my purchases end up with incorrect categories (gas stations being called groceries, a liquor store purchase getting called education, etc.) When I can click on a transaction to see the details it would be nice to change the category from a drop-down menu and have the option to create a new category.

So Close
I’ve really appreciated the incremental improvements in the app over time. My advice (since I’ve been a member for 25 years) is that you turnaround those improvements in a more timely manner. I don’t know what your analytics are saying but statistically, mobile is where it’s at. Some specific feedback: 1. I like that you don’t have 2 separate applications for mobile (you used to have 1 that I pulled up to pay bills). The main issue with your current pay bills is that I find that mostly on weekends and holidays, there’s always an issue and I can’t access it. Maybe it’s a 3rd party that is responsible for this...if so, get on them about their SLAs and make sure that someone on your team gets an alert when this function goes down. 2. Don’t force me to log on to my laptop in order to change my password. Rarely do I carry both my laptop and my iPhone at the same time. 3. Is their messaging in this app? If so, I hadn’t noticed. I’d like to be able to send a message through the app - not call - not email. A chat function would also be helpful.

Communication
Your communication is horrible. Calling into your bank and you having to wait an hour only to have 40 people still in front of you is ridiculous. I’m at West End Bank person. I could call that bank and always reach someone right away. Even your chat service is slow. Imagine I am at work and have very little time to call with an important question. Let’s just so you’ve let me down every time.

Could we do more
I’ve been banking at 3 R for a number of years. They helped me out when other banks wouldn’t. I’ve been, since I opened my account, using the mobile banking and APP. a lot. I’m really impressed and appreciate all of the new changes in the app. card control/monitoring but since it seems as though we are moving away from cash and change is less likely to be accepted, unless you have exact, I would like to have the option to automatically save my change when I’m using my card. Could this please be an added feature to the app?

Where’s the Register
Like the app, and it’s features. But my big complaint is there is no way (or at least not intuitive) to add transactions to the account register. So I pay bills from the Bill Pay feature, but I also write paper checks. There needs to be a way to add transactions manually to the account register. In previous versions this feature was available. I’m not sure why that, of all things, would be removed.....Would like to see it added back!

Could be better
The ap is only OK as far as I’m concerned. Things I could do at my old credit union, which is a lot smaller, I can’t do on this app. I can’t pay my mortgage bi-weekly or my loan. Transferring money to another account holder should be a standard feature. When I log out on my iPad, I get a continuous “logging out”, instead of it just simply logging me out. Just a couple of suggestions for future updates.

Don’t update if you don’t have to
Update and rebrand is awful. Slow to load. Doesn’t always open or load. Alerts you’ve already dismissed pop up over and over again. No way to make some accounts visible and hide others. Have to login via password all the time because it never remembers the “biometric login” information that you set literally the day before. Search feature is cool. Wish the credit card transaction link worked period. But that’s been a problem for forever. Want to see your balance? Sure. Don’t ask to see what is actually happening on the credit card though, that won’t happen.

Love my bank but overdraft charges are BS
This has been the only bank I have had/used my entire life but still get the over draft fee if i slip up and forget to transfer funds or make sure an account has money in it when a bill is auto paid. That’s bull crap. I have thousands in my savings and the computer literally does the work, just pull from another account without a $10 reminder.

Great App
This app saves time and is very convenient. My most loved feature, and part that I use the most, is to quickly view my bank balance upon opening it, while not having to scan my finger print unless I would like to see detail. Somehow not having to scan my first finger print makes me happy each time I need to look.

Same issue!
I agree with previous reviewer! Every time I forget to check my acct, I get hit with a $10 fee, when a payment comes out before I realize it! I too have been a member since 1987 and have plenty of money in savings! This is just terrible customer service!!! Am considering moving my accts to Chase where they don’t do that crap!

Have you been angered or hurt by scammers or had your credit card stolen? I have and 3Rivers has calmly walked me through the maze of restoring my loss. Over the years they have saved me in costs for writing and depositing checks. I have referred Churches and other small businesses because of their service and integrity.

Upgraded?? app
New look is very nice but I could no longer easily pay bills. It takes a bunch of hunting around to find the pay bills option. I accidentally stumbled onto it but cannot find it to pay more bills. It appears they do not want this to be a useful feature. The main reason I used the old app was to pay bills. What’s the point? Very disappointing.

I’m very impressed by the ease and convenience of your mobile banking. I’m from the older generation so it is important for me to have easy to use. The few times I’ve had difficulty ,a phone call or visit quickly solved the issue. Thank you

Last update
Not happy with the last update because you took away the ability to reconcile your accounts by checking off cleared transactions. We was able to do that when we go online but now we are not and it has messed up our checking account register.

Doesn’t deposit checks
App never lets you deposit checks when doing the pictures manually. It use to and now the last couple months I’ve had to run to the bank to deposit them. App if kinda worthless now.

CC Transactions/External Transfers
Transactions have never been detailed for Credit Cards. We’re also unable to pay any “sister” branches through the Transfer portion of the application. Ex: Teachers Credit Union Please implement these two things for great customer service and more 5 star ratings. Thank you, in advance!

Password crashing app and update
Constantly reminded in ap of an update but my version number matches the App Store version number. 1Password integration was fine but today started crashing the app. Tried transferring money between accounts and the app freezes after I get my password auto filled by 1Password. Thought it could be 1Password until I tried copy/pasting my password and froze the app again. Admittedly this only crashed it once (working at the moment) but still crashing after 1Password auto fills the password.

Why is bill pay so garbage?
Love 3Rivers, HATE the new bill pay in the app. It used to be fairly simple to pay bills on the app. Now they’ve nearly hid the area that even accesses the ability to pay bills. Once you’re there it takes forever to even load the page. It’s so frustrating. The rest of the app is great but I primarily use the app for paying my bills and if this doesn’t improve I may switch credit unions. The ability to pay bills with ease is crucial for me.

I recently had my account hacked, I was able to see it on here then contact my home bank for assistance. Everyone was so nice and helpful, throughly explaining everything, and getting all of my money back into my account

Difficult to read activity
The app has greatly improved but recently (and suddenly) all the charges get listed as an address, instead of the establishments name. This makes reading the account activity SUPER difficult. It’s awful and makes personal budgeting a nightmare.

Touch ID no longer working
A couple of days ago the Touch ID stopped working. It keeps turning off the switch to allow Touch ID. Please fix this as I really like to be able to use this feature

Decent app
It’s good app overall. I have 1 major complaint though. It doesn’t always deduct pending charges from your account balance. 85% of them are deducted while pending but if you have 2-4 pending transactions it’s hit or miss how many of them it will calculate and deduct from your balance to show an actual real time balance

Simple but not right
Very simple app which I am not complaining about but it has glitches. For example, scheduling payments doesn’t work right, when you go to the date, you can’t set it except for today….so no scheduling??? It doesn’t happen on every payment type, but does with my FCU home equity. It didn’t used to but just isn’t quite working right.

Not supported in the UK
This may sound weird, but I’m a US expat in the UK and I still hold my US bank account. Although I have spoken to 3Rivers countless times, this app is not supported in the UK app market so that means that I either need to change my country/region settings whenever the app needs updating or else I cannot use it. This is very frustrating. Other than that it is an extremely basic banking app with little to no control over your account like larger banking apps would allow.

Update on software
So this app went through a new update and I’ve been having issues with it. It now takes forever to pull up my accounts. It also keeps saying credentials not found. I’ve contacted 3 Rivers about it and they advised to delete the app and re-download it. I’m still having the same issues. Odd how a update was suppose to fix the bugs when in fact it made more.

I understand this is a local credit union however the app is very slow to evolve and then on top of that I do all of the beta testing on new IOS software updates so currently the app does not work once again because three Rivers does not anticipate issues in the future they ONLY solve them after they already occurred. App has not work since iOS 14.5 beta 1

This app is garbage! It’s constantly got something wrong with it and won’t allow me to log in. And it always seems to happen when I need to see my account at the most important times!! It is a GREAT app when it’s actually working!! Good luck!

Horrible login
Every time you go to login, you have to type in a 17 character password that they make you create and then when you click to verify that you’re human and never registers you so you have to type in your password 400 times it’s completely aggravating if you have bank account, you have to switch betweenit makes you wanna pull your hair out

Needs improvement
I love the app don’t get me wrong makes banking easy, the app itself needs some improvements like iPhone X support, Touch ID and Face ID support so I don’t have to type the password in a million times a day. Other then that the app works just perfectly fine.

Touch ID no longer working with latest update
App works great other than latest update has killed the TouchID function. Fortunately I do remember passwords so I won’t have the problems others might run into having to get it reset.

Nice update
Nice update! A few requests: - remove prompt “you have been logged out…” mor annoying than helpful. Your either logged in or not - allow special characters in account names/nicknames - show available balance when transferring - easy hide/show hidden accounts - allow main account page to sort all saving/checking accounts in one section. Not just in their own section.

Mobile right?
The app is great however it only works when connected to WIFI so it is kind of pointless when i’m out on the go and need to check my account. I also cannot set a recurring transfer from my savings to checking

Credit card activity
I hate that there is no credit card activity for the mobile app. All you can see on the app is your balance. You have to sign into the 3RFCU website in order to see credit card info.
