I really like this app. It makes my job a lot easier for when I need the “on the go” option for the office. It is easy to navigate through the different accounts. I can easily upload pictures or documents directly from my phone and they are ready to view and send in Acculynx within seconds. Only thing I wish I could do from the app is send invoices as that is a big part of my job. But other than that, I recommend utilizing the app if you are using Acculynx for your roofing business!
Listen up folks, this app is a hit, you’re going to need decent phones and some intelligence to operate in the parameters, the AccuLynx team is constantly upgrading updating there equipment servers and versions of the app, super solid investment, smart business practices, there’s not much to think about this will allow you to free up time with pesky emailing and free up space to allow your company to flourish. Great choice five star service the Absolute leader for field workers the model can be applied across the board great dashboard view the benefits are better than the average and light years above the rest, keep yourself in the loop on every angle of the process. I heard they’re coming out with an AI feature which will give you even more operating potential. Although some folks prefer the old abacus and rock sketch pad over here were on the wave 2023 AL is just the beginning.
As a new user, it is very frustrating to have desktop availabilities, or browser login on phone capabilities that are nowhere to be seen on the iPhone App. Things as simple as being able to create a reminder… For a specific day and time as opposed to task, which is only tied to a day. And to not allow me to create an estimate in the field on the spot in the app?basic functionality missing in the app. Why not just drive everyone to the browser version instead of wasting resources on the app itself? Further, the app shows my appointment title as “Initial Appointment” - which cannot be edited. Sometimes my initial appointment occurs before I put someone in AccuLynx. When I modify the title in the browser, it stays modified on my calendar sink, but in the app it still shows “initial appointment”. there are too many weird dissimilarities between the app and the browser, it’s almost like there are two groups developing independently and there is no continuity of UX / UI.
Have to force close and relaunch App to switch between jobs
This updated version of app makes you force close it and relaunch if you want to search a new job. I can close the current job and search the new one, but it will not allow you to open the new file. So now you have to force close it and relaunch the app. This makes it where I have to force close this app appx. 20 times a day. Extremely inefficient. Also, uploading photos to jobs with the updated version adds 2-3 extra steps as opposed to the last version. I don’t see how this is supposed to be better when everything requires extra steps which requires more time which means I’m making less money since I’m spending more time on the app now then in previously. I waited approximately a month to make a review thinking that they would have resolved these issues by now. But nope.

This app has made life so convenient when out and about. It is very functional and perfect for inputting things quickly instead of having to get in front of a computer. I have had some feedback about some very small bugs within the app that I have given to the dev team. They are always gracious to receive the feedback and have fixed some small issues in a timely manner. I only believe this app will continue to improve and is already solid so far!
I had the old app as well as the new app. I used them for different things at different times for different reasons. Both had ups and downs but now I can’t use the old app I’m only left with this app that isn’t as easy to navigate and takes FOREVER TO LOAD. I’m constantly having technical problems. When I try to update my leads it won’t save. It’s embarrassing and makes me look unprofessional when I’m trying to show homeowners the pictures of the hail damage and all that shows up on my phone is the loading symbol in the middle of my screen. It sometimes takes up to 5 minutes! I’m highly dissatisfied. Wish I could use both apps like I did before. It was much more useful.
This app is good. The updates have made significant improvements in the overall user experience. Ability to see the activity feed etc is helpful for use on the go. I still have to use the website for a lot of things though which I find frustrating. I have a hard time downloading estimates from my phone etc. but overall, good experience and I’m sure they will continue to improve!
THE APP IS COMPLETELY USLESS IF YOU CAN’T UPLOAD PHOTOS IN REAL TIME ON SITE!!!! With the old app we would upload over a hundred photos per project on site directly to that project. Uploading pics later or only uploading 50 at a time is NOT good enough to stay organized for documentation, production, and protection of the company during and after construction. And don’t tell me to email your support, just fix it or dump this app and we can continue with the old app. Question, is acculynx keeping the old version or will that soon be unsupported?? And if so when, because we may need to go elsewhere to stay professionally organized with a different field app. Thanks in advance for your answer
For any field agent, rep, technician, PM, etc., this app is wonderful. I love that I don’t have to email or text myself photos and reports any longer. I just upload straight from my phone to AccuLynx through the field app. Keep making the updates and improvements. For any naysayers, try deleting the app and downloading it again. It took me three tries to get it to work, not ideal, but worth the struggle to get this tool in your belt!
I have tried many other different applications for my information management. And this one is definitely the best in my opinion. It allows for everyone that needs to be in on this information to see it and have continuous communication during the whole process!! I also love being able too add in other companies like our supplemental companies!!
I absolutely love how AccuLynx Field allows our team to photograph and submit to mages directly from the app. I do wish it would allow us to access the wide angle .5 camera available on my iPhone, but maybe in the future! I also LOVE the real time communication thread that keeps our whole team on the same page on each project. I couldn’t more highly recommend.
The process of uploading photos is awful half the time they don’t upload or take forever. Never had that issue with the old app. Multiple issues entering a new lead all required fields will be fill out and the save button won’t “light up” still no leader board in either app. This app is also slower than the old app. You shouldn’t removed the old app… or fix all of these issues. Also you can’t add a photo from your camera roll to a message you have to upload it to the photos.
I really appreciate that acculynx allows you to suggest new features and different options that would help your business. They really listen and have actually implemented some of the things our business has suggested. Not many companies do that! The field app makes things easier for our guys and is pretty user friendly.. even for some of our technologically challenged guys ;)
Our company lives having access to AccuLynx via app. Most of our employees are in the field and it makes it so easy to be able to upload photos, communicate with the office and have financial information with the convention of an app versus having to use a web browser on the phone or bring a laptop. We are very happy with AccuLynx overall!
The new app is an improvement over the old app. Being able to rename documents has been helpful. I would only suggest adding the capitalization as a capability. There should be an option to custom tag photos rather than the limited options. Also, a more robust photo option would be tremendously useful. Such as, being able to group photos based on elevation and being able to send them in a package as such to adjusters so that they are easy to decipher.
As an estimator/salesman I rely heavily on this app. I do appreciate it more than the previous version. One thing I wish would be integrated into the app is the job status in the calendar. For instance when you look at the calendar it would say if that homeowner is a lead, prospect, accepted, completed, invoiced without having to click on the name itself. Other than that, I appreciate the app.
With the update of this app to New and improved “ the developers have effectively broken the app. What seems snappier and a smoother UI, is now about useless compared to the previous app. Uploading photos and documents from native apps no longer work, or even show up as an option to access from anymore. When I try to upload job photos from the app itself, I select the pictures and folder to upload to, but nothing ever uploads. On the app landing page, I am hit with all the failed upload attempts. When I hit retry, nothing works. I’m uninstalling this app and going back to the original.

The app truly makes my work day easier! I am able to leave notes that my team can see, which keeps everyone updated on what’s going on with each individual customer. My only recommendation is to make an option to save multiple photos, all at once, to my phone, rather than having to click “save photo” on each individual photo.
Acculinx should be great. Should make organization easier and especially if there are multiple people coordinating on a project. When it works, it’s a must have. However I’ve been using this software, for 2 years. There is always something wrong with the app. One week I can’t log in, And have to upload through google. Now recently, the photos won’t even upload for each Job. Acculinx fix your software. There’s always something that doesn’t work
Our company, Garvin Exteriors uses this app quite often to look up jobs. Its overall capabilities fit our needs. We do however wish there was more functionality in the interface like the desktop version. Also, the ability to click on the address have it open a different map application would be nice.
The app works most of the time! When it’s working properly, I love the app! It’s great and easy to use. It’s so nice being able to click into the app and quickly add photos to specific projects, from on top of the roof! Unfortunately, sometimes the app doesn’t let me login so I’ll have to access Acculynx from Google which can be frustrating because you never know when it’s going to work and when it won’t.
LOVE the acculynx app. It allows me to easily track the progress of all my current clients in my workflow. Everything is color coordinated for easy use. The app allows you to upload photos in real time, scan documents like down payments, and even allows you to offer financing through the CRM. 100% recommended!!!
The AccuLynx Field app has some of the more advanced features that are not accessible from the mobile app, which is understandable but since I’ve been using it, I have had no significant issues and it continues to improve as time progresses.
Acculynx new filed app is excellent! One of the main new features that is helpful for me is being able to put in measurements inside the app that n my phone instead of having to get out a tablet or computer to access the browser. It is efficient and easy to use and learn for everyone.
Super easy to use and the training is unmatched! The app is very useful while in the field. Very convenient to be able to upload pictures and notes from anywhere. Specially like being able to call customer from app, eliminates have to save every contact to my phone.
Definitely a key component to use on the field with limited access to a pc. A function that the app doesn't have, such as reviewing estimates or making any changes on the go, I do use the safari desktop version of Acculynx on my phone and it works fine. Other than that, great stuff!
The calendar as a widget would be very useful for a lot of my reps. We get leads sometimes late at night and even same day. It would be nice to have the calendar right on their work phones home screen showing them their day. As for the office part, when we get leads in bulk it would be great to have an interface where business and companies purchasing leads in bulk could upload them all at once instead of 1 by 1 manually entering everything into it. Great app and very useful for everyone in the company, just wish we had a few more pieces of technology added to make our lives even easier for the price we pay. Overall, very great database platform

The app is well played out and user friendly, however there are some functions that are available on the browser version that users are not able to access on the mobile app.
Best application I’ve used to communicate and keep all projects organized. With customer email communication staying on the app it makes things easier to organize. Has everything needed for contractors to manage their business. Seriously, very well executed
I use the AL Field app every day to help manage multiple accounts. It is central to our business for communicating on multiple levels between employees, production and customers. I am using the "Task" feature more and more for follow-up reminders and is probably my favorite AL tool right now. 5 Stars aaALL ACROSS THE BOARD!!
Every time I go to upload a message the app freezes and I can’t upload anything then I restart the app and it’s the same issue. I reinstalled the app and still nothing. App is great with everything else, i really enjoy using it and it is easy to navigate, but this is throwing me off a bit
I’m only writing this review because every time I open the field app it tells me to update for the latest features but anytime I hit update I’m already updated and it brings me to the App Store so here we are. For what you charge for your services you should make this way better on the mobile end. I can’t do much on this and it’s annoying to see the notification to update to the latest version expecting cool new features to see it’s still all the same.
I would recommend turning your wifi off when at a customers home as your phone is trying everything to connect and not using the cell signal. This helped me tremendously
Would have given this 5 stars, but THE ONLY thing that I find difficult when using is when you are trying to upload photos that you have previously taken. For some reason it takes forever, and does not seem to be user friendly
This app has gone a long way but for some reason still lacks basic functions. + Can't create and estimate + Can't view estimate + Can't view an invoice + Can't create an ingoice + When we open the text messages we don't see the most recent one + Notifications are all messed up They need to focus on the basics before implementing "game changing uodates" in my opinion.
The new field app is fast and gives me everything I need while on the jobsite. It’s a great companion to Acculynx online and a much much better CRM than anything we’ve used in the past. The field app is easy to navigate and seems to be getting better with each update.
When taking pictures the app does not recognize that you were taking pictures until you hit the camera photo button multiple times. This is set up more like the desktop version there’s no user-friendly actions at the bottom like an app should be designed the developers really missed this one. this one needs to go to the scrapheap and start over. Going back to the old app. Much better product and user-friendly for my sales and office.
I love this app. The app allows us to review jobs in the field, upload docs, photos and communications throughout our company. I love of when a previous customer calls we are able to look up their job quickly whenever we are.
I use acculynx every single day and I don’t know where I would be without this program. We are a franchise roofing company that relies on Acculink every single day to keep us organized up-to-date send emails keep track of progress etc. I highly recommend.
New to acculynx, so I still learning all the features. The desktop version has been a game changer with our company. I don’t use the mobile app as much as the estimators since I am in the office- but it has been extremely helpful so far. Seems to work great, and has been a useful communication tool.
App works great in the field! We utilize the SmartDoc option and the mobile app does not support that. Would love to see this rollout in a future update so we don’t have to keep hopping from mobile browser to mobile app
This is a scaled down version of full web app. It uses gps to identify the customer you’re at. It also allows you to take photos directly into the customer’s record.
This app is useful for performing the most basic AccuLynx functions on the go, and it is super easy to use. I do wish the upload and overall speed were a bit faster. Also, there are times when the app glitches and I have to force close.
The AccuLynx field app makes updating jobs so much more efficient. I can upload photos, update status of job and have all lead information at my fingertips. It alleviates a lot Of mistakes if I had to wait to get back to the office for these tasks.
I am the production manager at a exterior remodeling company and the field app is very helpful for my technicians when they are not in the office. I wish it had more features for me to use as production manager when I am not at my computer, but everything the techs need to use is easily accessible
I’ve been extremely pleased with this app. It’s very handy to have out in the field when I’m not at my desk. Any pictures from job sites can be uploaded immediately and any documentation that I may need if an adjuster calls is readily available.
Updates on the app have improved it a lot. Only challenges now are getting some of the field photos the be able to attach through the app when selecting the photos first versus opening the app and uploading them that way. Keep up the great work!
