don’t get this app!! they keep charging me even though i have already sent them a message through costumer service and unsubscribed! they charge my card two twice on the same day as well, save your money and download another app with same or better features!
So, at first, it seems to be spot on until I started doing it for other people. I’m Asian and my fiancé is white. I’m pregnant, so I am just so darn curious what the baby will look like. The “automated” baby face comes out pretty white. There’s no option for mixed race in the “customize” section. I put my sister and brother in law’s face (both Asian), chose “automated” option and the baby came out white lol, and when I did customize it to the Asian race for the face, it came out Asian, but still very similar features to the white baby. It is a fun app because the baby don’t come out scary looking like the other baby generator apps. It’s not accurate for mixed race couples though. It could be somewhat accurate for same race couples!

I downloaded it just to see if the app was really all what it was showing in the adds and at first it was, but when you go to actually DO the one thing they show in the adds that they are advertising to the public, you can’t go on without paying. Some people want to do one simple thing and then delete the app and go on with their lives, not give away their credit card information for a free trial and then delete the app. If you are willing to pay I say go for it, it’s overall not a super terrible app, but if you don’t want to have to pay for it than I’d say this app isn’t worth the download. I may be overthinking this, I don’t know. It’s all about choice of words. So I was hesitant on using my photos and my partners at first, because the app notified me that our photos will be saved onto their clouds servers. Then towards the end of the message it says that the company will delete our photos from their servers after processing. Well you have to pay for the baby generator feature to work. So considering that the processing failed. Does our photos get deleted from the server? Considering the photos were not successfully processed yet. So since the app states that the photos will guaranteed be deleted after processing (which it wasn’t successful, because I’m not paying a mf dime). Are the photos really deleted off of the company’s server?
DOES NOT WORK! I uploaded a pic of my sister and her boyfriend (both white, one blonde and blue eyes), the baby appeared Polynesian. I changed the photo of my sister. I got the same Polynesian baby (beautiful baby, but did not look like anyone in either family). Changed mom’s picture to a different sister and got nearly the same baby. Though the baby despite still being Polynesian had sister 1’s eyebrows. Hmmmph. I changed both photos (mom and dad) to sister 1 & 2. Got the first baby from when I did sister 1 & boyfriend. You’d think with pics of full biological sisters that the baby would look like someone in our family! Nope. Wish I could upload screenshots.
This app is so sketchy how is that I’m trying to cancel my subscription and I can’t every time I click membership it says I am already a member , I click every other option I went to my stetting to try to cancel the subscription I’ve emailed you guys even tried calling customer service . I will be screenshotting every single future transaction if this isn’t resolved and will keep leaving reviews until this is resolved it’s ridiculous how hard I have to try to get out from the subscription!
It keeps charging my account even after i just used the free subscription they are acting like i owe them money and now i owe apple money and now i can’t download any other apps until i pay them
I initially downloaded the app for the free trial and literally canceled the subscription not even 5 minutes later. The subscription was canceled per the instructions when downloading the app, yet I was still charged. Following the instructions I’m unable to cancel again, so when I tried contacting customer service for support I received an automatic message instead of helping with the issue. I had to submit a claim since customer service was no help.
Im an African American woman and my bf is mixed, I put a picture of me and my bf in the app and it only showed Asian children, I thought it could be that I didn’t put good enough pictures so I changed them a few times. Still got an Asian child. I decided to use the custom option and they only have full 100% races, like there is no option for mixed children and the African options the only one I can go with. But it’s full African, like dark skin and everything. Not a good app, at least for black couples
It’s absurd app companies are allowed to list their apps as ‘free to download’ but have all their features locked behind paywalls in-app. At the very least, change the wording in your app description and be very clear about the fact it’s not free and what your subscription tiers are so those of us who do not wish to pay for the use of this app don’t download it and then leave you a poor review for lack of transparency after the fact.
I made a payment on this app. The pictures did not even come out clear. The quality was horrible and overall I just did not get what I was expecting but what makes it worse is after I made my payment I kept the app thinking that oh I can always try again later and as I waited a couple on charging me over and over so I deleted the app to come here and say do not download this app unless you want to get scammed.
the only reason this got one star is because i couldn’t give it negative stars. this is the most annoying app ever. i was trying to help a friend and make sure that she wouldn’t have ugly kids with the guy she is talking to. the other app we tried made the boy look like the do the roar kid from shrek and the girl look identical but with a mullet. this app tricked me into watching an ad to generate the child. it told me that it was 94% accurate. i guess we’ll never know because then it told me i had to pay for premium or get a free trial. that is fake of them and we are no longer friends. therefore i cannot show support for them. in summary, if you are checking for ugly children don’t try this app.
If users are being charged without being told ahead of time that is an app violation. It doesn’t even tell you when signing up that there are different plans. And the marketing makes it seem like you can do at least 1 free generation. User experience feedback: - allow users to delete their accounts - prioritize canceling subscription and be clear in the type of plans there are when downloading the app and opening the app for the first time - if you are gonna charge ven for the basic make a remark that user will be charged and how many time “monthly charge of _” for this account” - allow users to cancel subscription in settings
This app requires you to enter all your personal information, supply pictures and then it will not let you continue until you pay. I repeat. YOU CANNOT USE THIS APP UNLESS YOU PAY. Don’t be fooled. I would be cautious when giving them your payment information as I read online that they make it difficult to cancel and continue charging. You’ve been warned.
In trying to cancel my subscription, the app does not allow me to click on my membership portal. There is an option to contact the app generators, but when you click on it, it shows an invalid address…. Super fishy. I am leaving a review here, and will take it down once they help me remove my membership since for some odd reason, you can’t do it through the app.
Read the other reviews they keep charging me even after you delete the app. I cancel my card but still. Should. It have to do that. Time to sue this APP.
Omg i just scared my boyfriend with all the future baby pictures i showed him 😄 love the app! Easy to use. Hopefully my baby will look the same as those pictures!
I do not look Asian in the least. What I look like is far from being Asian. How come whenever I do the “time-machine” generator the filters that are put on my face make me look Asian? Why is there such a huge bias in ethnicity for photo generation? It seems as though the only photos that were fed to the AI were of Asian descent, not other nationalities.
App seems free until you try to use it then it wants you to buy a subscription? I mean who in the world would even use this app more then a few times. Also, it has a free trial option because they want you to use it for the one time use then forget and allow it to charge you. Don’t download it!
I really don’t understand how the entire app is just pay us pay us I completely understand make your money but if you can’t at least do a baby generator for free then your like all of the other apps I understand it’s 5 dollars but when your barley make 20 thousand a year that 5 dollars counts up don’t waste your money 🤷♀️
This app does not generate what your future child will look like. I have a child with my partner and was curious if it would recreate how our daughter looks because she is a perfect blend of the both of us and the picture it generated was WAYYYY off. I chose for the gender a girl and the picture it generated for me was a little boy that has darker skin tone and me and my partner are both light skin smh don’t bother downloading.
First of all, you can’t do anything unless you pay for the app which is crap and also do you need them let me pay for the app so I can’t pay for the app so I don’t know what to do also, like why put an ad up and say oh this is free and then make it you have to pay and then not even let the customers pay like what the heck
Poor excuse for an app. Don’t waste your time or money. Every single child of me (blonde hair/blue eye) & my boyfriend (red hair/blue eyes), had blonde hair and brown eyes LOL 😂 Nobody in either of our family has brown eyes for 1 & 2, it’s just not even close to accurate. Also every kid, no matter the gender boy or girl, all have mullets and look deranged. Total waste of money, this app needs to get cancelled
It generates identical babies when the parent pictures are changed. Also, the facial features of the babies are not from the parents. The app has a database of faces that it uses to generate the baby and not the pictures you input. This is not artificial intelligence. Scam. They charge you to see the pictures
So, the app works, but beware of the 3-day free trial. They don’t have a way in the app itself to cancel your subscription so you will end up paying $6.99 per week forever unless you go into your apple subscriptions and cancel it manually. This app would actually be good if the pay model was straightforward and not predatory.
Tried this for a presentation night. After a few uses, one of my photos ended up being identical despite the second photo included a person of an entirely different race. All of the children end up white and look the same. Don’t waste your money
Dont get it. The UI doesnt even go with the customization options. By the way this is to the developers. I seen another review where someone was charged even though they unsubscribed. I unsubscribed as well and i had a free trial. If any money is taken out of my account from this app you will feel my wrath.
Before I started the three day trial, it said I could cancel any time in settings. However, when you click on member ship in settings, it does not show you anywhere where you can cancel. There is no where in the app to cancel the subscription! I need help so that it does not charge me.
This app is a joke I used myself and my husband image to create a baby then I used my friends Image along with his wife’s and they got the same baby that was generated from our images deleted now Edit: this app is terrible don’t bother how can two different couples create the same exact baby zero stars
I ran this at least five times with my husband whom I have children with. We both have blue eyes and every time the child had brown eyes. Needs to be better if they are going to charge
I mean the app would've gotten a higher rating from me if it told me i had to pay for it before I scoured my entire gallery for pictures. So be warned, it costs money to see the results!
Do not download this app. I did the free 3 day trial and cancelled on the first day and I have been charged 3x in the past two weeks. I have unsubscribed on my Apple subscriptions but I keep getting charged. I have written to the app and they do not respond! I get charged $9.99 every 3-4 days. I want all my money back asap!!!!
I thought it would be fun being that my boyfriend and I are interracial but it doesn’t generate a “ mixed” child lol I even tried adding a photo of a random person who was darker toned to see if it made a difference.
Download the app, upload your perfect photos, then click to see the baby picture/put your credit card info in. Why have a free app if you hide everything behind a paywall? Talk about a waste of a time and memory space on my phone.
It doesn’t even let you generate ONE to see if you like it before it forces you to start a “free trial” that you have to remember to cancel before you get charged. There are others you can try without resorting to these dumb tricks to charge you without knowing if the app even works.
i had signed up for the subscription then i canceled it made sure i did and got rid of the app and now im missing 7$ from my bank acc every month when i dont even have this stupid app and i tried to cancel it so many times and it didn't work
My friend’s partner and her ended up getting the same baby picture as my partner and I - we are all different ethnicities. It seems like this app just has a set of baby pictures that it shows customer, it’s far from AI generating images. Lies.
You have to pay a subscription to do anything. It’s let’s you set it all up and then it’s like to continue you have to do a free trial and pay for a subscription. Don’t waste your time.
Thought it’d be fun to see what me and my girl’s child might look like. This app doesn’t let you try it even once for free, without trying to trick you into accepting a 3 Day “Free Trail”, after which they want to charge you $6.99 per WEEK?!?! I noped right out without accepting the 3 Day Free Trial which turns into almost $30 a month child support payment… I’m only guessing. Has anyone clicked through to see if they hold your digitally spawned child hostage?? I’m sorry, I just can’t even.
Me and my girlfriend tried this app to see what our kid would look like. After putting both of our beautiful faces into the app, our kid came out looking special ed. Our kid didn’t even look like a girl or boy, it looked non-binary.
At least one baby generation should be free to try the feature. I’m suspicious of apps that don’t let you try anything and immediately prompt you to sign up. I think a lot of other people are too. Deleting it.
I use this app with a picture of myself and five other people, and each, and every single baby was the exact same. They didn’t even bother to change up the hair most of the time.
Neither my partner or I are white, nor have light hair. Baby came out white with light brown hair on multiple occasions. Using the race options under “customize” just produced a caricature of that race, could not see either of our features in the predictions.
GF and I tried this for fun. The baby came out hideous, like worse than Shrek hideous. She literally cried and decided to never have a child with me. Now we have an adopted kid that looks nothing like us and I’m pretty sure is plotting to kill is in our sleep. Thanks baby make app.
