On iPhone with FaceID turned on, if you sign out and keep looking at the screen you will automatically be signed back in. In a hurry you might not notice, set iPhone down, someone picks it up and has access to your account. Not nice. Avista knows about this (I told them) but chooses not to fix it.
Just got notified that this app existed. Downloaded it, logged in and immediately worked as expected. Looks simple and straightforward. No menu adventuring to find what I’m looking for either. My bill amount & due date are right on the front screen (shows that I’m on auto-pay), and previous statements as well as “Make a Payment” are just below that. So far it’s all that I would hope for and expect from a utility app.
This is an Example of a app done right. Reporting power outages, viewing the affected area, getting real time updates is great ! Just wish other companies apps were this good. Developer please offer your services to a cell service provider who’s name starts with a “A” and ends with a “T” they need your help.
This app is ok if you just want billing information. I wanted to see the same information I can look up on my online account such as power usage statistics, etc. Hopefully that will come soon.
Why only 4 stars you might ask? Well this should be a function of of an account access app. I have been waiting years for the ability to access my account, pay my bill and keep track of services via a mobile app!!
This app worked for about a week and now it won’t let me log in at all. If you’re going to offer an app to make it more “convenient” for your customers to track billing and billing history, here’s a tip: make sure the app works or you’re wasting your time and ours.
iPhone-only apps like this one offer a poor user experience on iPads, especially when viewing outage maps. You know, Apple may start requiring apps to adapt to screen sizes in the near future to be in the App Store. Please offer a proper landscape iPad experience in this app.
App has been worthless for months. Can’t log in with email/password (which work on the website) or Face ID. Tried contacting Avista customer service and they were not helpful.
