MashaAllah, Heart Recitations, but app need few updates
I downloaded on my IOS Mobile phone. The recitations, SubhanAllah, are heartwarming. But once phone goes into screen saver mode the recitation stops. I have sign in again into my mobile phone to start the recitation. For a person travelling and walking with headphones on, it difficult to login again and again to start recitation. Please see of this can be resolved. Anyways, the Saudis Govt had made a excellent effort to make authentic recitation and Quran available for all of us. Allah bless them. I hope by time the app will get more mature.
Finally, one with a search bar, menu, and much more! I'm so happy, now I can have it at my fingertips for reference and to produce for others which don't read Arabic. Many of my Muslim friends can't read Arabic. Having the English translation and Arabic in one is important. Many times I find things translated using the wrong transliteration. With Arabic in tact I can easily explain the deeper meaning or equivalent words without losing the full translation. The Arabic grammar is also very precise versus English is versatile and can be vague or open to interpretation leaving room for misunderstanding in many instances or poor translation. This format helps one to use a dictionary alongside translations if they are not familiar with Arabic well enough. It also helps to read the quraan while learning Arabic because it is the most perfect form of Arabic in my opinion, grammatically speaking. It is also wonderful to have the prominent Islamic Art/design on the pages within the app! I for one cannot give up my huge hand painted wood carved quraan for its beauty, even if it's impractical for use.
Love the app, great effort MsA Could use in the following areas: - When I set the app to قراءة ليلية; there are 2 very bright white lines on the iPhone 12. In vertical mode, they’re at the top & bottom of the screen. In landscape mode, they’re on the left & bottom sides of the screen. Fix Suggestion: revise the app design to remove any white backgrounds when in this mode - In landscape mode, on iPhone 12, the تفسير hover menu at the bottom has the text cut off - In both vertical & landscape modes, when I close the تفسير menu at the bottom, there’s no way to add it back again. Only way is to restart the app - When setting the app to قراءة ليلية or changing any other settings, they all seem to reset every time the app resets. Expectation here is that the app should maintain those settings. Enhancement suggestion: allow users the option to ‘restore default settings’ as well Please keep us the great effort!
Bookmark feature is not working anymore. In Tafsir , there is not English version among the list of that has been offered. In the previous version when I go to another sura, translation was popping from the bottom of the page, and now, I have to go to settings and tab to the sura to be able to see on the reading page. I agree with the comments this is a great app, but developers need to take care of more promptly. Still thanks for the thrive.
Since my last update of my iphone the app keeps on lagging. Whenever I touch the screen (verse) to see the translation it comes and goes, on and off, and keeps on happening like that. I’m having so much trouble in using the app these days since my last update. I have seen a comment from another person in February, yet there hasn’t been an update so far. This is my favourite Quran app, but if this is going to be continuing I have to change to some other app. Hope you would fix this soon.
Assalamu Alaykum Alhamdullilah, since last week this app has been working great again with very view minor exceptions. The minor exceptions has to do with book marking. It is not possible to book mark a point on this update. Another observation is that there is no English Tafaser. Thank you so much for making the necessary corrections and making the app useful as it used to be. May Allah bless everyone that started and made all the necessary amendments to bring the app back to its former glory. Jazakhalla khairan
Best Quran app just doesn’t run when the device is locked!
Thank you for creating this amazing app. It has everything you need to learn Quran: color codes tajweed mushaf, many sheikhs that are reciting the Quran including once recorded for students, repeating opinions for aya or multiple of ayats, etc. The only thing missing is ability to run the app when the device is locked. Can you make it run when the device is locked.
I love this app and everything it offers, and have been using it for YEARS. In the last year or so the app has been glitching and messing up. Ive uninstalled it many times and re-installed it thinking it would be better but its still wacky. This is the last straw, and its sad because i love this app so much! Its a great app if it were taken care if by developers (bug fixes and such) please fix it so i can continue to use it. Thankyou
Finally a Qur'an app that we can download confidently. It has all the features that one expects and much more. And at anytime the app can be updated to add or enhance feature I don't really care about the interface and other features. The most important thing is the trust that it would not contain misinterpretations is good enough reason for me to download it and rate it 5 stars as that's the max rating I can give. The best app, but there’s something that needs to be fixed.
Thanks for your great effort and for this amazing app, but there’s something that needs to be fixed. The resolution of the pages is quite low, so the writing doesn’t look sharp enough. I hope that you make an option to download pages with a better resolution. Thanks in advance.
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته Jazaakumullah for the app. Lately, in the past 2 months or so I noticed the recitation does not continue/play in the background anymore. It will only play while it’s open. If you close it with the recitation going, it will stop immediately. It never used to be like that for me. Could you please fix that? Thank you!
I HAVE PAID FOR THIS APP! And There is a issue with the option buttons. When I am clicking on them, they repeatedly go back to first option before actually going to anything your trying to get to. The scrolling option, like for when you want to repeat, 2 separate types scrolling menus are appearing and you have to put your option repeatedly in BOTH menus for it to work. I tried deleting the app and re-downloading. It still does same. Please fix this
This is exactly what I was looking for in terms of a Quran app. I like the mushaff and I can just tap and hold to see the translation of the ayah in front of me. Great bookmark feature that differentiate between memorization and reading of the mushaff. Great selection of reciters. It takes a little time to get used to but overall a great App to understand and memorize the words of Allah most high. JazakAllahu khair for publishers and designers.
Salam alaykoum brothers, could you please have an option on app where you can have screen stays on even if we are not looking at screen? It is annoying to keep having to switch on the screen every time the phone locks up. Jazzak allah khaira
This app used to be the best. I trust their Arabic tafseer and their English one too and I still do. I even advised all my kids to download it on their devices but since last time I updated my phone, the app has been lagging. The pages don’t flip or scroll easily and the translation at the bottom of the page disappear whenever I touch it or try to scroll through it. I am so disappointed bc this used to be my favorite Quran app ever. I tried deleting the app and downloading it again with no luck. So sad
The App. is not keeping the bookmark on the page selected, when I come back to it & I have to go back thru the process of choosing the language. It is a safe App. Which has Tafsir and it is from Saudi Arabia and have everything I need, but please it needs to be updated. This is my second request for its update. Thank you for the app it helped me a lot with my memorization, because my mind usually doesn’t memorize Quran that fast , but when I downloaded the app and chose my favorite Quran reader (sheikh) it helped me a lot Thank you for this app , and I recommend it for people who find problems in memorizing the Quran جزاكم الله كل خير
Since the last update, there’s no sound coming out through the phone speaker. The recitation seña to be playing. It moves from one verse to another, but we can’t hear anything. If a headline is plugged or pairs through Bluetooth, it works. Could you please fix this bug.
Whenever I select a reciter to read and press the play button I can’t hear the sound. This happens with every reciter I try. The ayas continue on and highlights with no sound :( Can someone please fix this? Jazakallahu khayr
The app have very good features and I use very it frequently. However, it seem no one really cares to fix the small issues in it. The latest update, the marks “alama’ function stopped working, so if you wish to mark where you stopped reading, that function is not working now. I hope someone would read my note and fix it, I don’t think it’s a major fix, but very important to the user. God bless you.
Salamo Alykom. This is a great app ma shaa Allah, and it is so easy to see why. It seamlessly integrates Qur'an pages with smart ayah selections. You can start recitals (التلاوات) at any ayah, with any reader. You can also start tafseer (التفسير) and word meanings (معاني الكلمات) per any ayah. Finally it offers offline downloads for recitals, tafseers and word meanings. Great work. Best of all, completely free.
This was my favorite App. It has so many wonderful features: a great collection of reciters and tafaseer and great memorization aids. But sadly for several months since the last two iPhone updates these features no longer work. I hope the developers will be able to fix this since we have no option to uninstall the updates.
Great app, has everything Quran related. Pages are clear, smooth to flip through, and nice search tools. One thing though after you download the app, you have to download all pages once you're in, took about 10 mins for me. Highly recommend.
It can’t play in background mode for more than 5 minutes
When i try to listen to the holy Quran in the background more it does not last. It will just play for some few minutes then stop. Please fix this problem.
Dears, As we tried it, it was an awesome application, but after IOS update to 13 edition, there are some problems in using this application : browsing, searching for Aya copying, and others. So we kindly need your effort to update this great application as soon as possible. Regards.
Am a 12 year old that done many bad things in my life and am trying my best to stop! I’ll continue to pray and read Quran everyday and j will wear hijab from today and please everyone reading this do the same becuase judgment day is close! The signs are here..
This is really a great App, which is satisfying for everything related to reading Qur'an and tafseer. But what is still need some enhancement is the images quality of moshaf eltagweed, the pages are of very low quality which is greatly annoying. Jazakom Allaho Khayran
Can someone update the app please? It’s a year I am using this app but I can’t finish downloading suras. I like this app because it can read each ayah how many times I want. Please set the Background Modes switch to ON for Audio
As Salam I use the app for memorization and use the repeat functionality. However, the app audio stops as the iPhone is locked or is the app goes in background. Can you please switch on the background audio . Thank you !!
Please fix the app it’s messed up on my phone and my mother’s phone please fix or I will create an app similar In’sha’Allah because it’s the best app in the world. I’m sure everyone has problems with the app it used to be great. Please for the sake of Allah swt fix the problems.
Speaking as someone who used this app for years i can tell you it is amazing it has people who read the Quran to you so you make no mistake. ( i think Al-husari is really good) no co plaints after this update. thank you!!!!!
I really like this app. It has all the things I like in the various Quran apps. It has a very readable Arabic text, it is easy to navigate around the Quran, the English is displayed at the bottoms of the page in a resizable window and tafsir is well o gained in a separate page with the Arabic and English both displayed for reference. A few things missing: - ability to continue reading on another device from the same spot using iCloud. - portrait view to show 2 pages. - root word analysis.
Asak I really love this app and been using for a long time, specially as I teacher I like it because you can put some notes and save it and make other marks, but since the last update for the app you can’t put any mark anymore and you can’t even track your reading. Hopefully will be taking care of quick so we can keep on enjoying this app. JazAk
Whenever I try to get to the correct Ayat, the scroller doesn’t work correctly. This never used to happen before iOS 13. Otherwise, it is an excellent app.
Really great Quran app, one of the best I've used. However, it buffers multiple times during usage and doesn't work until minutes or hours later. The translation, font and look and speakers are all great, but the slow, unreliable play needs to be fixed.
The app was excellent at the beginning, lately, it has been malfunctioning and difficult to search. App needs some work to fix it. I don’t know why the app is not being fixed and brought back to the condition when came out . Unfortunately, I have deleted the app and downloaded the app for bit altamweel alkuwati. I urge the owner of this app to work on it to fix it so people can use it more and more .
This app is really good! I have been using it for a while and I love all the features they have! They have lots of reciters available which is really good 👍
Really great tool for review and memorization or just reading. One minor issue I saw is that at least in English when you activate repeating it will stop the translation from being recited with the Arabic.

A brilliant app, I love it and been using for a while now. But don’t you think it’s time to update the app to match our new phones and Screen size? Would be also create if you could develop or (integrate)an app for prayers timing round the world, specially for those like us who don’t live in Islamic countries and with few mosques around. I know there are apps that does that already, but the source always worries me. Thanks.
It gives you an very time economic and handy insight of Quranic verses. I enjoy it while reciting I can switch from one chapter to other very easily I recommend it to others
This app is almost too good to be true. Because it has many features, good quality recitations, it supports various languages and much more. My compliments!
the app keeps flashing in the menu options and would not allow me to play, pause nor get into the bigger option( the one on the top left hand corner). I taught it was my phone, but I have a new phone, and also someone else tried it on an iPad and it did not work. If you want you can contact me by email I will tell you more.
