Great game, but a few bugs…

I’ve been playing this game for a couple years now and I still enjoy picking it up for 15 minutes a day or so. The graphics are good, but not quite up to their full potential. Certainly not a deal breaker though. Gameplay is easy, and upgrading is simple. There ARE a few bugs that I want to mention, however… Certain pitchers will sometimes loose their heads. No, I’m not kidding. Weird as it may sound, the pitcher’s head will suddenly disappear, leaving an empty pair of pants and shirt floating around on the pitcher’s mound. The baseball cap floating in midair is quite amusing as well. Although rather comical, this tends to become annoying. Another problem I have is with my batters skipping bases. If I steal a base and bunt a foul ball in the same play, the ball with float in midair for a bit, and in the next play my first base guy will run directly across the field to third, and my batter will run straight to second… both of them nearly trampling the poor floating uniform on the pitcher’s mound. Lastly, under certain circumstances when playing against the computer in arcade mode, some pitchers will throw fastballs at about 125 mph, which is absolutely ridiculous considering that the fastest possible throw for a fastball is about 108 mph. All in all a great game, but please fix these annoying bugs.

Great Game, but a few suggestions

I have played this game for the past week non-stop essentially, really great game, love the progression part of career mode. The only thing I’ve noticed that could be improved would be a progressive amount of training points per each league. You still get the same amount of points as if you were still playing at the cornfield and only one inning, even if you’re at a 4 star team. For one team I have to grind 3 innings for the same amount I’m doing for a rookie team with 1 inning. I’m kind of cheesing the system with just upgrading 2 batters to full contact and full power and winning off of two hits in the rookie league. I can stay here for as long as I need to, but I would really enjoy a reason to play 2 more innings on my other team, but the rewards system isn’t up to par. Solution possibilities, Gain additional points for highlight features, e.g., a home run, grand slam, shut out, no hitter, etc. Again really enjoying the game, but I think allowing players more training points the higher you go or implementing a reward system would be beneficial. Don’t take the grind out of the game, don’t allow us to buy training points please.

Amazing game

I love this game so much!! Being a lover and former player of baseball I feel like pretty much everything is accurate to real life-whether it be the cutoff man when the ball is in the outfield or the diving catches everything just feels right. My only concerns to developers is if you could add something to where you can control your players when their running the bases, for example: I have a challenge where I have to hit three Grand Slams and it’s very hard to get one person on each base in order to get the Grand Slam or if I know I’m going to get thrown out at third when the ball is in the outfield. I wish I could hold players on a base whenever I need to instead of just hoping I’m safe. Another small detail is when I get that slow motion animation for the home run the batter leads with his hands and is almost pushing the ball instead of leading the hips and the bat follows. The regular speed doesn’t have that problem but, it’s just when it slows down it’s noticeable and makes me cringe every time I see it. Just a couple minor complaints but, nothing big enough for me to dislike this amazing game!

One of my favorite baseball games ever

This is one of my favorite baseball games I’ve ever played. Hitting and pitching are very satisfying and the announcer is sometimes pretty funny. One of my favorite lines by the announcer is “That was tremendously tremendous!” It cracks me up ever time. Leveling up your guys is relatively easy, for the most part, but I wish you got more upgrade tokens when you won. Five just really isn’t enough in my opinion. But other than that, leveling up your guys is super easy! I haven’t really seen a lot of glitches in ballistic baseball, but there is one that really makes the gameplay weird. Almost every time I’ve got hit by a pitch, the ball stops under my batter’s feet and rolls on the floor for about three seconds. If you have someone on base, then they don’t move and stay where they were, even if they were on first. And then after that, the batter that got hit hits again. If he hits the ball, then he glitches to second base like he was actually hit with the ball. It’s a pretty funny glitch, but I hope you guys could fix it. But other than that, this game is awesome!

Pretty Good but Buggy

I like the game, especially career mode, but there are a lot of bugs that I thought would have been addressed by now but they’ve been around for a long time and they really affect gameplay. When you set your runners to steal and the other team’s pitcher hits your batter, there’s a pause in action for the offense while the defense gets to throw two or three pitches. When play resumes the offense has to watch while the last three throws go by unable to swing at them. Also, if you bunt when the ball has been thrown way outside play freezes for the offense again. One more: I’m not sure a bunted foul ball after the second strike should be considered an out but it is in this game’s league. There are others but I can’t think of them. It’s be great to see an update with these issues fixed.

The scamming is ridiculous.

They need to prevent players from intentionally disconnecting when they are losing. Mostly Far East players at night. It does nothing for development and advancement Follow up: At higher levels it becomes a buntfest. I’ve gotten better at dealing with them but it isn’t realistic baseball. There should be a limit per inning, otherwise players will do it the whole time. Only other solution is to make it more difficult to bunt and get on base Update: they say they trying to balance the game. I give them an extra star for that. They need to develop a new pitcher who can counter the bunt. A knuckleballer or whatever. The game is not enjoyable, nor realistic, when players only play to bunt, which is what you get here. Only way to make it unenjoyable for them is to stall by waiting the full allotted 10 sec and pitch balls outside so they can’t bunt. It can drag the game out for hours but makes it as unenjoyable for them as they make it for others. If you really want to get under their nerves press sub pitchers in between pitches and at last second cancel. That adds another 10 sec. The game needs more balance to stop these idiots who get off on bunting every time

Glitches too prevalent to take serious

The main issue I have with this apps severe and catastrophic glitches is that there’s zero ability to report the occurrence from within the game itself. So they just linger on. Do you know how long the Dirt Demon homerun contestant has been screwed up with 500’ moon shots or line drive lasers off the outfield wall? Since day 1 for me. The career mode was decent in the beginning, but as you progress levels the catastrophic freezes her more frequent. And the final nail comes via the new play-and-progress 1v1 online competition within the career model. I reached level 23 I think. Every other win is another step up and automatically saved so you don’t slide backwards more than one ranking/level. That means every other game you face sliding one position if you lose. OR IF THE GAME CANT FIND YOU AN OPPONENT! 4x in a row I tried to beat that level after progressing from my last saved spot. And all 4x the game connected, loaded, then kicked me back to the Home Screen and I LOST that position I just won. Weak effort by the developer to maintain a good report and tackle issue. There are better options other than bullish!t baseball.

Game has improved

Game has improved a lot. There are still issues with dropping down tiers in competivive mode if the matchmaking fails. Questionable AI baserunning- should go about 1/2 way to the bag then return when the out has been secured. Would be nice to be able to throw high/low as well as in/out. Old review after a particularly awful update: Previously upgraded players have had their progress lost after the most recent update. Some Evolution is lost with players who had been subbed for the Rising Stars and star progress has been wiped for any Rising Star - both earned during the last even and purchased/upgraded outside of the event. App doesn’t even open anymore. You were so close to a successful game. Have written to Customer Support: “ Unfortunately, we do not have an immediate solution for this issue. The game team is working on a fix. However, it may take some time. We want to be absolutely honest with you and tell you that we do not expect an update to be released soon; it might take up to several months.”

Fun that can be wasted

First off, I love this game. The cartoony physique of the players, the accessible controls, player/team progression, and outrageous cosmetics gives this game a nice appeal. I can admit that I DO NOT play this game online as I’m not overly competitive. Just a disclosure. My biggest issue with this game is the super-grindy rising star mechanic; where you can unlock unique players that have special abilities every month that can be upgraded with progression points. These points are earned through various monthly, weekly, and daily tasks. The key here is: monthly. If you do not achieve enough points over the period of the month to unlock this player, you start over at the beginning of the next month. I played almost 100 traditional and home run derby games and still didn’t get enough to unlock the player, only to loose what I had at the start of the month to ABSOLUTE ZERO. Again, this game is fun, but it really feels like it was originally a free-to-play game that supports a cash shop, only to have these items removed to get it on Arcade.

Fun for the most part

Playing this game online is nothing short of frustrating. Players intentionally disconnect forcing you into a loading screen that seems like the game is frozen forcing you to leave the game and forfeit any upgrade points. When they do play they will throw pitches ONLY outside of strike zone which are virtually impossible to get a decent hit on, and when they’re batting it’s really just a competition to see who can get the most bunts. Ballistic bash mode was great at first but very recently i’ve noticed no matter how perfectly you time the swing and place the location right in the sweet spot i went from hitting roughly 17/20 home runs down to 2/20 if i’m lucky?? Don’t know what changed but my average score has dropped from ~1,500 down to no more than 500. Small gripes honestly, aside from the online mode being extremely frustrating due to other players and whatever recent changes were made to batting mechanics in ballistic bash the AI career or arcade mode is a lot of fun.

Fun and addicting!

This game is great! Love that I can play a quick game of baseball in no time at all. The pace of the game is perfect, graphics look great, and the career mode is fun to play. My only issues are the reward point system after each career game, and the fact that online play in career mode can never seem to find a match. If the point system could be increased a bit. I feel it would make the online progression more enjoyable. Especially when I can’t play online which is said to give you even more reward points if you win. So instead I’m stuck playing game after game after game getting only five points for my wins, when it costs seventy five just to upgrade one player at times. Kind takes the fun out of it a little when you feel like you’re getting nowhere. Besides that, it’s a great game like I said before. Just a few minor tweaks and I think we’d have ourselves a grand slam of a game. Great job!

Missing basic baseball components.

Overall, decently well built. Graphics are a little cartoony, but not a major concern. The UI is well built and the basic setup is good. The major issue this game has is that it wants to be too realistic without including important baseball rules and strategies. A good example is the lack of sacrifice flys, which becomes a major issue when every hit that is “in the sweet spot” (supposed to be perfect hit) ends up being a fly out. Another example is that the AI *never* swings at pitches that are outside of the strike zone, even on 0-2 when you throw a “perfectly timed” slider, which makes basic pitching strategy completely worthless. Bottom line is that the game either needs to incorporate critical baseball stuff or go full cartoon and make home runs more common and pitching much more simplified. It tries to be both and kinda falls flat. It’s fun for like a couple hours then just gets annoying to play.

Best Apple Arcade Game

This by far the Best Apple Arcade Game. The “training” level basically helps you practice your skills and assemble your team. Knowledge of baseball strategy a big plus! For example once you get very proficient, you want pitchers to have hitters chase bad pitches. Also the strategy tips useful for novices. My only frustration at this point is the person to person mode keeps pairing me up with completely stocked teams that are far superior to mine. They also know tricks like bunting over and over if you have a poor fielding pitcher. Fortunately a 5 run first inning beat down taught me a strategy on how to beat that and I held them scoreless after that. The farther you get the more competitive it will be! Enjoy!

Not fun anymore

Update: The developers updated the game and somehow managed to screw it up terribly. Before I had gripes (see below) but the game was at least fun. Now it’s just plain boring, glitchy, and super annoying. Don’t bother. Ballistic Bash can be fun trying to hit the targets but the game cheats you from hitting targets sometimes and you hardly ever win because the AI suddenly gets a thousand points right at the end. So it ends up just super aggravating and annoying. The actual baseball part of the game is the opposite when you play the AI where it’s basically impossible to lose. Unless I’m missing something there is no mode to make the game harder. I won a game 57-0 recently. But here is the thing that really bothers me and it isn’t just this game but many. No way to make change the controls for left handed players. It’s like we don’t exist. This could easily be a great game but the developers half-a**ed some parts, cheat on other parts and you either win all the time in “real” baseball mode or lose all the time in ballistic bash mode.

Terrible cheating game

The baseball games are adequate but the pitchers have sliders that move 3 to 4 feet halfway to the plate so you just have to wait until they throw fastballs. Even the Eephus pitch causes your back to slow down automatically so even if you swing at the perfect time you’re going to miss. The real problem is in the home run Derby where your picture suddenly starts throwing you change ups and Eephus pitches trying to trick you and you’ll get a pitch down the middle and swing to pull it and instead it magically hits off the end of the bat and goes 40 feet in the air. You’ll try to hit opposite field and despite swinging after the ball crosses the plate your hitter is trying to pull it and you won’t be able to hit it out of the infield. That doesn’t even count you being 200 ahead of your opponents when you finish and suddenly he’s 1000 in front of you. This game only caused me to cancel my subscription to Apple Arcade completely.

Need improvement

It’s a a good game concept but it needs improvement. I can be playing any of the Ranked series and can be 1 step close to a save a position and for some reason new games start getting canceled and start decreasing position to the previous saved step. Not fair. If this is a glitch the software should identify the canceled game and don’t move the player to previous position. I see too many call errors for no reason. You have all your players at a pro level and then dropping the ball at easy outs. Another problem is calling errors when there is not base advanced by a player because of the error. That is one of the basic rules of baseball. From time game can be get frozen, player that abandon the game first can get a loss. No fair. Software should be able to identify this issue and don’t give the loss to any player. After months It keeps cancelling games and lowering points for no reason. You can get no lost or tied game but going down 100 points just with cancelled games.

Lose your ranking due to glitches

I play this game often. But I think I’m done with spending time climbing the ranks in career mode and reaching high levels only to be kicked back down when the game glitches. I’ve read other reviews and it seems to be a known problem that developers can’t or won’t solve. The game connects, finds an opponent, loads a match, glitches and kicks back to the Home Screen, while removing earned points and dropping you down a ranked level. Sometimes it will do this consecutive times in row, completely obliterating any recent success gained from winning. Simply not worth playing if this isn’t fixed. Also they’ve made bunting so ridiculously indefensible that most players excessively do it. Making the game way too predictable and therefore not enjoyable when playing weak and inferior players who can’t play any other way.

Lazy baseball game

Mailed in attempt at a baseball game from a company that is clearly not used to making premium games without micro transactions. The leveling system is tedious and very slow moving Hey, I bet a micro transaction can speed that up! A list of grievances: 1. Lazy lazy voiceover work. I’ve never been as disinterested in the game as when the announcer guy says in a bored tone, “Welcome to Ballistic Baseball”. 2. Announcer needs to be sued by George Bush Sr for his impression of “Not gonna do it” 3. Announcer needs to be sued by Bob Eucher (sp?) for his impression of “Just a little bit outside” 4. Announcer needs to be sued by Chris Mortensen for his impression of “Back back back back back back back back” 5. Announcer doesn’t even say the inning number. It’s always “on to the next inning” or “we head to the bottom of this inning”. 6. Script often makes no sense relative to what’s actually going on in the game Lazy. But I played it a ton, so 3 stars.

Love this game!

This game is fantastic. All the gameplays have appeal and recently I have been all about the Ranked mode. However, as of two days ago, there is a glitch that happens when connecting to a game in this mode. It will state, “connecting” and then show the “100%”, and then it will refresh back to the ranked page and push you down a step on the ranked charts. It’s not putting a loss in the loss column thankfully, but it is costing steps just due to the glitch. Wanted to pop it on here for the developers to see. If there is a way to submit a bug for the game in a different fashion, please let me know and I would be happy to submit via that route. Great game and keep up the great work!

I only rated this 5 stars so It wouldn’t be buried with the other ratings. This game has extreme potential. But. But. But. There is a HUGE FLAW. people will just build speed with their players and BUNT every time. There’s literally nothing you can do to stop it. It is so glitchy that it makes it NOT WORTH IT to play. Fielder ratings should negate the speed effect but NOPE. if you have a player with a 3 star speed just bunt every time and guaranteed to get on base. Deleted this game. What a sad thing too. Lots of potential wasted by a glitch. Come on developers please do something about this extreme glitch that soooo many people are exploiting.

Update with some pros and some cons

Glitchy after the update. While playin as the team out on the field, an opposing base runner clearly thrown out at 3rd (happened when there was a force and also when a tag needed to be applied) runs through 3rd and scores. Can’t even be thrown and tagged out at home plate because they magically start going light speed. While at bat: steal 2nd safely and by a large margin but are called out multiple times. I do like the increased input on base running and choosing which base to throw to after fielding. How about a throw to a relay or cutoff man? It cuts to tag animation much less than before, even when the play is close. Overall have really liked the game in the past but recent update frustrates and kills the motivation to play it.

Double Plays and other glitches are infuriating

Game is fun except for when a glitch happens that for some reason causes the game to work against you. For example, when the outfielder throws it to the cutoff man to throw home and it counts as an out at home and at second despite the cutoff not even being at second and there being no force out in either plate. I also lost a game because the batter I previously got out at first was stuck in home plate and I was pitching to the next AI batter. When the batter puts the ball in play, the AI stuck at home "scored" despite having been out the previous play. Overall love the game, but the glitches make me want to put it away and they happen far too frequently.

Looks cool. Gameplay is horrific.

The game has a fun gameplay to it. Kind of a silly spin on a baseball game. Not too serious but not that silly. I’ve played it for at least 15-20 hours so far. Annnnnnddddd, unfortunately the game isn’t that great. Trying to setup an online opponent is difficult at best. When you do making contact when swinging at pitches is ridiculous. Everyone just pitches off the plate because any player leveled up to full stars pretty much always hits the ball to the fence or a homerun. Pitching is such a drag for the same reason. Playing against the computer is SOOO easy once you have leveled up your players. Your top players will hit a couple homeruns every game at that point. The players are far too fast on the basepaths with full speed rating. Maybe some additional gameplay is in the works. At this point it was a decent subscription Apple Arcade game.

Really liked the game…

I was addicted. One problem I had is in online mode. Any team I played against was far stronger than me and bunted every time to beat me. The gameplay could use a little work there. But what caused me to quit playing… I was working on getting one of the special players to 5 stars, but once I got the player at 3 stars, my star points stopped adding up. It also told me I needed updated to get new monthly goals, but I didn’t need an update. I even deleted the app and reinstalled it, and I still couldn’t get monthly goals or star points, so I didn’t see the point in playing. It seems very difficult to get help, but I’ll gladly change my rating if someone can fix this. I’d also like to see my special player at 5 stars because I spent a lot of time working on it.

Needs a patch

Hi im just a reg gamer who loves to play Ballistic Baseball on iOS it’s one of my favorite games i applaud you. There’s just a few things that erk me from time to time if your willing to hear me out all it is just a few bugs that need patching. In Ballistic Bash HOME Run Derby it’s impossible for anyone to reach the yellow ring that sits in the stands in center field. Also another issue is while playing Derby when I hit the wall or miss a home run it won’t tack on the points that I made from hitting the wall. It’s just a few minor tweaks that would require your attention but other then that Fantastic job, thank you for creating such a great and entertaining game. Keep up the great work 👍🏻👍🏻

best baseball game on the app store

this game is so fun and addicting i just wish there was more to it. for what the game has to offer it’s fantastic and the gameplay is so crisp and satisfying it plays so well. the career mode is great and upgrading players is a small grind but enjoyable. i do wish the amount of training points earned increased as you went up in leagues. another thing i hope gets added in the future is tracking of your team and player stats, and a season mode with playoffs etc. also replays of nice hits, RBI’s and home runs would be a great addition. overall a fantastic game a worth the download

Much Improved

The gameplay is a lot better then when BB first came out. The AI fielding is much improved and your CPU opponents are very beatable. I haven’t explored career mode yet and I’m guessing that’s the mode that gives you the ability to increase player skills. Still couldn’t get a game going with a human player but at least there is no pretense that a bot is an actual living opponent. You still can play an online match/ local multiplayer with a friend. My biggest beefs are there not being friend matches for the home run derby and the lack of stat tracking.

Doesn't know rules of baseball

If you know and like baseball, you may not like this game. So many issues. 1) Errors aren't when someone drops a ball. An error is when a runner advances because of a misplayed ball. If I'm throwing the ball in after a base hit and the 2nd baseman drops the ball but the runner doesn't move, yeah, not an error. 2) Rundowns can be more than 3 moves. When advancing manually, you can go ahead, back, and then forward one more time. After that, you can't return. What‽ 3) If a runner scores and THEN a following runner is out on a tag (like the batter between 1st and 2nd) for the 3rd out, that run still scores. Not in Ballistic Baseball. 4) If there are already two outs, the runners don't need to return to the base. On more than one occasion a popup gets dropped with a runner on first RETURNING!! then they're forced out at 2nd!!! Fix the AI runners or at least let us control it. 5) Allow tagging up on fly balls to the outfield. For some reason the run controls are disabled for fly balls. 6) Let me know when someone is stealing. It happens in a real game. But in Ballistic, the only notice I get is the runner almost there. Fix these simple things.

Pretty fun but...

The “bunt people” are no fun to play against. Once they level up all they do is bunt and can never be thrown out at first. The only solution is to throw only balls off the (in the yellow zone). The algorithm should at least guarantee a 5 star speed player a chance of being thrown out at first. Right now it’s a guaranteed hit. Aside from that it’s a generally fun game until you run into those online players. Update… work your pitcher to 5 star fielding and you get a better chance of throwing the hunters out at first. Also, throw balls outside to the hunters initially with a pitch other than some curve that crosses the plate. I’m still winning at .750 when starting new career teams against these idiots. I never bunt first but will retaliate.

This could be 5 stars if…

… the developers address this one multiplayer issue that has ruined this game for my kids! I’m leaving this review because my 8-year-old is so bothered by this, and considering it used to work, it seems a fix should be easily in order. I hope the developers will read this - I’ll update the review to 5 stars if you fix this multiplayer issue: the last big update made it impossible for the kids to play against each other in multiplayer mode. We don’t let them play random people online. But multiplayer between them hasn’t worked for MONTHS. A message pops up saying that the person who set up the protection should be contacted, but that’s us, and we have no way of resolving it or allowing it. This is immensely frustrating and has made this game far less fun.

Fun but quirky

This is definitely an “arcade” version of baseball. Sure you can build up your team over time. But the controls during play are very limited. Some things are inconsistent (outs are updated at different times when you’re at bat or in the field). You can tell if something is a hit when your runners start running - if they don’t move you know it’s a fly out. And then there are the random fly ball drops in the infield, which still convert to an out because the runners never go. The “online” component is almost useless. It will search and search and search for a match. Today I finally got one, and then it disconnected me and told me it was my fault. But... I still spend lots of time playing, so, it can’t be all bad.

Alright, however

This is probably one of the better baseball apps on the store but there’s a lot of things they could do better. Firstly for any new players, if you play against AI’s in the career training, do NOT upgrade your characters until you’ve banked a bunch of tokens. As you upgrade your players, they’ll add an inning to the games and the stadiums look a little different however, you only gain 5 upgrade points for every win. It doesn’t matter if you’re a 3 star team or a 1 star, you only get 5 upgrade tokens, which is definitely not worth it when you’re playing 3 innings or more. Playing through the career is the only way to advance your team and players, which is ridiculous. Why play any of the other game modes, when you don’t get any kind of rewards or progress. The online multiplayer is a joke. Even if you find someone to play against, there’s a 78.5% chance they will leave and you’ll have to play against AI’s. And guess what, you only get 5 upgrade if they leave and you win... Overall, it’s a pretty fun game to pass the time. I think they could make the game so much better.

Upgrades

I honestly love this game i get lost into it for hours sometimes, when i have nothing better to do. But ive thought of some ideas that i think would make it a lot better. Adding a season mode vs ai and online with big reward when winning playoff and championship games. Being able to pitch above and below the strike zone. Maybe to be able to upgrade players from bronze to silver to gold, but a limit on how many you can have like 3 gold and 5 silvers. That would give the game a lot more fun and replay value. If any of the developers see this please add these feature or at least some of them🙏🏽

Good, with lots of room for improvement

Fun baseball game. If you enjoyed old console games from back in the day, this is a nice little update. Only fun against AI though. Online mode it’s almost impossible to get a hit. Everyone just paints the corners with pitches or pitches balls. Most of my online games end in 0/0 ties or with the opponent forfeiting out of boredom. Also, with the latest update the Ballistic Bash feature has become exceedingly difficult to hit home runs. Playing with nearby friends with Game Center (a feature were looking forward to) just does not work. It never connects. Playing career mode against AI is where it’s at; you get pitches you can hit, which makes it a lot more fun.

Fun, potential to be much better

This game is a lot of fun and the mechanics are simple enough. I always hate complaining because I couldn’t make a better game, but as a consumer I will say 1) I have no idea what the other tokens are that you earn from the daily login and other challenges. I know what the training points are but the other little green things I have no idea what they are or what they do and I looked all through the help menu and it doesn’t say 2) ballistic bash so many times I will hit a target and it doesn’t register. 3) the hitting timing/sweet spot really needs more consistency. That’s all I can say really. Consistency. 4) PVP it’s really hard to score points and I have had so many games where it’s 0-0 and the other player or myself will just quit because it’s so annoying not being able to score. I think a player versus player match would be a lot funner if they were high scoring and each player felt they COULD score vs the opposite

Love it, but…

I do like the game but would l love to see two things: 1) Some sort of season option. Knowing my wins and losses is cool, but standings in a “league” would be cool. 20 games in a season or something, moving up the standings would make it even more fun. I’ve leveled up all my players and the only next thing to change up he play would be to change teams. But eventually I’d run out of teams to max out. 2) Is there some way to stop my runner from trying to turn a double into a triple? I’ve played almost 200 games and NEVER made it…and all my dudes are leveled to the max. Thanks and keep up the great work.

This is my forever game

I tried a few different baseball games in the App Store but this one will never be deleted off my iPhone. Much like the actual game of baseball is so much fun it is a daily challenge. It’s helps my young son learn more about the game while having a good time. All I ask from the game staff is: 1) list of tracks and artists being used in the game. It took me a while to track down “Favorite Little Game” by Julian Emery & Adam Noble. Great track! 2) experience points for no hitters, perfect games and cycles. Thank you for this game.

Worst Game On Arcade

I have had this game for a while and have always noticed it to be terrible yet somehow addicting. When playing against AI’s the games are rigged in their favor (especially in homerun derby) and when playing against actual players it is impossible because of hackers. I have played for so long today in career ranked, maybe 20-30 games, and every single person who I played had a fully maxed out team. It is near impossible to level up without cheats and the only way to level up is to spend days or weeks grinding this game to level up. But you will never be able to compete. I would find another baseball game on Arcade but I can’t find any so Im stuck with this garbage. I do not recommend this because it is impossible.

Fun game, could be great with a few tweaks

The game is fun, and I have really enjoyed playing the season mode. I really only have two complaints: #1 is that rewards are the same for each league, which takes away some of the fun. It would be nice if there were rewards for home runs, stolen bases, etc. #2 is that playing against other people is an awful experience. People will just bunt all the time and get base hits non stop. Overall it’s a fun game, sure the announcer is a little annoying but the game play is strong for a mobile game. Better than other baseball games.

love the game minus the bugs!

love this game when it doesnt freeze and it often does. sometimes takes several tries to find an opponent and then often it freezes up saying it is either ‘connecting’ or ‘loading’ to then kick you back to finding another opponent. sometimes in the middle of the game it will freeze up and not move forward. but…when it works it is a blast! update as of 4/14: WHEN this game doesn’t waste your time freezing at the “connecting” or “loading” stages (sometimes it just locks up), it os awesome. very very glitchy

Love game But……

I really love this game it’s really fun to play and very challenging I find myself playing it quite a bit. But… It’s called Ballistic Baseball not Ballistic Bunt ball. Whenever I play someone online and all they do is bunt bunt bunt I just quit, because it’s baseball NOT Bunt ball I think that the developers should limit the amount of bunts to two per inning and that would make it more of a challenge. I do love the challenge of playing baseball against someone but not playing Bunt ball !!! Also can’t figure out how do you get points in the evolve game?

Issues and issues. HELP PLEASE!

My kids and I loved this game, however ever since the latest big update they have not been able to play online (they only played online with each other and me). I’ve gone through and tried to match up settings with my device, but haven’t been able to get it to work for months now. Before the update with content and privacy restrictions in place, we could play each other. Since then a message just pops up and says contact the person who set up the protection to allow it. I’m that person and there isn’t a way to get them in a multiplayer situation no matter what the setting. It’s frustrating, because this was a great game for kids their age.

Love this Game

Love it totally! But I have a couple things: 1) I’ve played thousands of games on this and have 5 starts across the board in my lineup for years - why do pitchers throw 125 mph in online mode for other teams but mine don’t? My top mph is 105. Am I missing an upgrade somehow? 2) I’d love to see my original team that I play with have their stats kept per player. I’d love to know who has what in terms of offensive numbers . Would make the game more authentic and interesting.

Ballistic baseball

I love this game except 1. When I play ballistic bash and I get so many home runs the next pitch my bat don’t show up so I can’t swing so I of course lose my chain 2. I hit the targets but it don’t give me credit for it. 3. And I also can never no matter where I hit the ball on the bat in the career mode I can never get a home run Please fix this as it isn’t fair to get so many streaks and then your bat disappears for 1-2 throws and not fair if a target is hit and no credit for it and with all the practice I should be able to hit home runs in career mode

I can’t believe this game has a three out of five stars.

I’m 50 years old I’m not a huge gamer I grew up when video games became a thing. When I first purchased my iPhone I was excited about the games I could play but I was always disappointed because there’s no real buttons you have to touch the screen. For several years I never played games I bought a new phone I got three months free Apple Arcade I tried a few games this game I absolutely love because it doesn’t need a special joystick and touching the screen is not a problem based on how this game is designed I play this game way more than I could’ve ever thought I would ever play any game absolutely love it highly recommended! Bravo to the developers. I wish the announcer had cooler things to say LOL. That’s my only critique

Absurd

The computer is insane and so is the matchmaking. I just restarted with a different team so this team is low level. I will get a perfect hit with the sweet spot with a 3 star player and it will just leave the infield. The computer 1/2 star hitter will hit on the very end of the bat and will hit the back wall. When trying to play against real players I will have a 2-3 star players and be paired against teams where every player is a 5 star player that hits a home run no matter where I throw the ball even with perfect pitches. The game has a lot of potential and is entertaining but the matchmaking and computer make the game almost unplayable.

This game is not worth the time

This game is unfair to begging with we play with an AI who is always gonna be higher than your own players ! Making it not fun to play ! And once you go online not only it takes a few minutes to find someone to play against but once you do ! You’ll find players who are maxed out with every player they have and is not fun when you got a 5 star team playing against a player who highest players is 2 star and a half ! Is supposed to be a fun game not a game that makes you not wanna play and is definitely pay to win kind of games not worth it ! I’ll give a 2 star

Bugs

So I’ve been playing a week, noticed there is a weird awful bug where if you have a runner on third and get hit, do not try to run with the person on third. It’s double play no matter where the ball is caught. I guess they get them out at home with a tag and find a way to throw to first in time. Don’t know but happened it online play and AI play. Also the data it ask for does not allow you to level up faster than if you don’t. If you’re that type. Not worth it. Okay game, pretty fun, but not what you expect.

Ballistic trash

This game started out fun and somewhat close to real baseball but with all the updates there is no rhyme or reason to the game. using the season mode sometimes you can get as many as 50 points for a tie, and sometimes only two points or none at all. Once I lost a game 1 to 0, and had 100 points subtracted from my score. 3 star players are faster than 5 star players at times. There is no support for this game it’s now a joke! I have the most wins with this game but I’m sure all the top players are frustrated with the weird rules and play of this game. I hope there is a return to normal baseball. Get rid of ties!!!

Decent Gameplay - Lacking Content

This game gets stale VERY fast. After you’ve played the first 10-20 games, there is very little noticeable improvement in characters and the games are all the same. Also, the hitting mechanic needs work. There’s really no way to adjust the power/trajectory of your swing. So once a character gets past ~2.5 stars in power, anytime you hit the ball outside the available gaps it ends up being a fly out. No way to hit a line drive or take power off for base hit. Every swing is like the player is trying to go yard.
