When you’re done screwing around

The whole world has changed so fast that 2020 already feels like ancient history. Unlike the seasons or the time of da this change isn’t comforting in its predictability. After thirty years my entire business paradigm morphed into something unfamiliar. Anyone who isn’t a lighthouse keeper has had to readjust. Every aspect of our lives has changed. School, travel, shopping - even the way we define ‘going to work ‘ has has changed - not to mention how we spend our downtime. Bodies require food, hearts and minds require one another. My life requires direct channels of communication. I need to present ideas as they occur in real time. I’m not interested in becoming a tech wizard - I need a fast, reliable, user-friendly system that enables me to communicate effectively - and that’s precisely what BIGVU offers just for starters. It can also adjust the way I look and sound - quite literally making every day at least look and sound like my best day. Not so important in real life, irreplaceable in business. I’m grateful for BIGVU. You will be too.

BIG UV Teleprompter - If it would just work on Iphone 11

I don’t understand why there’s certian bugs that make it unusable for a polished professional video. There’s like one part of the app that seems really beneficial and that’s adding the quotations and text on screen and for some reason there’s just glitches in segments that just don’t allow it to work properly- it works for like half the video and then suddenly you can’t add or fix quotations in individual segments, it crashes and I have to repeat the process over again. One particularly frustrating thing is that it’s a 60 dollar subscription by far one of the most expensive on the market- and I rationalized the purchase as a must have for my industry wants. There is one part that is late in the video where no matter what you type the time segment reader or however they manage individual segments to be picked up by the application, divides one section to be much longer and the words freeze on screen for a few minutes no matter how many times I try to fix this it’s just not fixable. It’s otherwise an app with amazing potential. I may come back to edit this but I even just updated the app thinking that would help but it didn’t it’s the same issue.

Incredible concept but...

This app has a lot going for it. It’s easy to use and when you’re at the right distance it really looks like your looking directly into the camera the way you would with a traditional teleprompter. My biggest issue is with the iPad version (I’m using iPad Pro 11” 2018). It always starts in portrait mode, even when the iPad is in landscape. This is seriously problematic when the iPad is on a tripod as you have to physically tip the iPad all the way to portrait and back to landscape between every take. Also, when switching between apps the BIGVU app always has to reload which is annoying. If you use a green screen you have to add the background video or image immediately and once you’ve applied one to a take, you’re stuck with it, making that take useless if you decide you want to use a different background. Once a green screen background is applied the video becomes very pixelated to the point of looking low quality... even with excellent lighting and a perfectly flat screen. Not sure how to fix that issue. Like I said, the app is great. If not for these issues it would get 5 stars from me but these things make it almost unusable for my purposes.

Buggy buggy buggy

I wonder if the developers have ever used this app. If they did they wouldn’t notice all of these bugs. Outside of random crashes, the app takes forever to load, the font size will change back every new take, the exposure will randomly get cranked up for no reason. We should be able to set these defaults in the settings so they don’t randomly change. In addition, the start point option is a mess. 75% the time it will randomly fly to the end of a script. Then when I go to shoot a new take I have to change the start point, font, and exposure (again and again and again). It turned a 5 minute recording into one that took and hour. There needs to be an option to record projects with takes but have the start point remain the same between takes (if we need to reshoot). With the price of this app (which is the highest on the market) and all the up selling in the app (features behind another paywall! after paying $60) you would at least think the developers would fix these glaring bugs.

More Bugs than Summer in Minnesota

I was very drawn in by the promises and ease of what this app offered. Very slick marketing and some potentially very innovative in integrations. What I found was some of the simplest things such as just recording a video on your iPhone outside of recording in their own app and then trying to add subtitles or even your company logo more times than not did not work. I know less than five separate occasions reaching out to the Technical Support they said they would review and get into it and get back to me. That never happened. This is gone on several times where the Technical Support literally is nonexistent. I would have stayed with this app if they simply would’ve corrected many of the bugs and had the professionalism to just respond with the issues that were going on which were backed up by the videos sent to them. On camera they’re very persuasive, but behind the scenes is a completely different story. At this point, I cannot recommend this app and actually requested a refund.

This app is the best on the market!

I don’t normally write reviews but this app deserves my time. I love the features it’s very amazing and you can literally use this as a game changer for content creators. The support team definitely the best I dealt with so far from other apps. They respond in timely fashion. I had several issues (devices, subscriptions) which were my own mistakes and the support team makes every effort to sort them out. I give 5 star hands down. Suggestion I would suggest adding a feature where we don’t need a green background to use our photos or graphics in background for video. Besides that a few more updated features for loyal customers and more happy days to come with this app

First App review ever

As far as an App and what it does. I tried it for a few days. It’s excellent. I set an alarm to remind me to decide to use it or cancel because I know it’s easy to forget. (And End up subscribing to another app you forget you’re paying for). I went to cancel the subscription because although it was great, $49 a month right now isn’t worth it for me personally. (Again it’s. A great app). When I checked, it had me subscribed for 6 months at $49. I immediately contacted their Instagram (they got back to me very fast) which told me I had to contact Apple. Apple did refund me. But my issue is it’s so easy to forget and you definitely shouldn’t be locked in for 6 months. In conclusion the app is good. And prob worth the money for someone who needs it but from a general business practice it could use a little refinement. Hope this is helpful to all parties.

Love it

I really like this app, I make some news videos and love having the script right in front of me so i look focused and trained on the camera. I also love the green screen effect it seems like the best green screen app that I could find and works very well. I also have a couple of complaints tho 1. Even though it says that the app is free there is still a subscription. And they just bug you about it like do you want this? do you want this? do you want this? I wish that there was a way that you could say no, I don’t stop asking me. 2.If you are writing a script and leave the app to look at something else it completely closes on you and you have to restart your whole thing because it just deleted all of it. I suggest that you write your script separately and then Copy and paste it. This way you don’t lose all of your progress

Functionality is great until your audio stops halfway through...

I love the functionality of this app and how easy it is to navigate. However, there are some MAJOR issues that I’ve outlined below: 1. The audio will randomly cut off halfway through filming. I use a wireless mic that has a receiver which connects to the iPhone via lightning port. No other teleprompter app has this issue with my equipment. 2. There was even a couple of times where the audio worked fine but then the video was nothing but a black screen...it seemed like most of the takes I did had either an audio issue or a video issue 3. The auto lock exposure functionality doesn’t work well at all. The exposure was all over the place and the tones of my video were adjusting like crazy all throughout the recording. 4. I signed up for their one month free offer hoping that I could then take advantage of the 50% for a one year payment. Once I selected the one month free option, it will not let me cancel that and use the 50% off annual option. So I asked support to help me and literally TAKE MY MONEY for an entire year but they said it would take like 2 days to get back to me and I have yet to hear back...but now that I found the bugs listed above, I wouldn’t pay for even one month of this app. I wanted this app to be good for so many reasons but these are deal breakers for me.

Absolutely Amazing.......but

This is the app you want for a Teleprompter! But I really really really really hope that they fix the refreshing problem that occurs when you have to go out of a mobile device back into the app. It is just way too easy to lose a script that you were working on if you just so happen to check another app briefly. The entire app will just start all over from scratch. To their credit THERE IS a save button but if you are a creative person and you start brainstorming a new script and you inadvertently go out of the app for just a second, all of your magic is instantly gone . This is my second time sensitive project that has been pushed back because of a screen time out or checking relevant information to bring back into BIGVU

Great product, awful support

The app is really beneficial and unique in that it's not only a teleprompter app, but a video editing app as well. However, it does sometimes quits suddenly and the log-in system is not set-up officiently (Logging in via Apple on the mobile device becomes problematic later-on when logging in via the desktop). Other than that, it's a user-friendly service. My biggest critique is the customer support. Upon having technical issues and glitches, no one from support was able to assist me and ignored my pleas to escalate the matter further. The responses were like scripted responses that didn't really acknowledge my concerns, or they would offer a solution that I had already mentioned attempting. That is quite frustrating when you are looking to an app to create ease in the experience and becomes more agitating and frustrating 8 emails in.

I just tired of subscriptions

To get the teleprompter without watermark starts at $90 per year. If you want longer videos, you're up to $140 per year. Yes, there are lots of other features but if you just want the teleprompter, you're stuck in a subscription. I'm tired of subscriptions. Why do I have to buy video landing pages just to get a good teleprompter? I don't even have a green screen or intend to use on. I don't need my captions emphasized. Why do I have to pay more for longer videos? What additional costs is BigVU incurring by me uploading a longer script and reading it off my phone and storing the longer video locally? I just cannot wrap my head around why every app has to be a subscription and insists on budling everything so the one feature you come for is locked in a package with things you don't need.

Basic and easy to use, but one HUGE ISSUE

Guys i have a lot of good to say about this app. It works well and easy. Everything functions the way it should. User friendly, customizable, integrating easily into other applications The huge issue? If for ANY reason, your phone locks, if you have to leave the app to reference or look up something, there is ZERO ability for the app to stay open! I have lost multiple projects, simply by getting wrapped up in writing, needing to refernece outside the app, then going back to the app to watch the whole application start up again and all my work was lost. The only save option is a manual save button that takes a long conscious press. This has to be fixed NOW. Such a good quality app. Even the customer service team is polite, fast to respond, and diligent. But this issue is a daunting one. Pls BigVu. Sort this out asap

Good Concept, too much trouble

I have never a give low rating, but since I bought this based on the ratings, I thought I should. This app is actually quite impressive at first. It’s got everything you could ever need, and could provide seem less video, but I cannot get it to upload from my phone to anywhere else (changes or no changes). I have tried 2 videos one was a 3 minute video, and another was a 6. Either way it took hours (and I have fast internet) to upload from the app (and heaven forbid you do anything else on your phone because if you do, you start alllll over), and then cuts off in the end. Each time it does this, I have to start over. From the computer, it does take a while, but it works better. Unfortunately my computer webcam is not great. From the app, I’ve had nothing but issues with getting it to go anywhere (with or without changes) off of the phone.

Pretty Amazing App!!!

I just wanted to stop by to drop this review. Thank you, Big Vu for making this app! It’s amazingly user-friendly and has made it super easy to stop thinking about becoming a content creator and to just start creating! There’s still a lot of features I’m learning but I found the edit and trim feature really helpful for when I mess up a portion of my monologue. I can easily just go back, trim the portion I messed up, delete it, and pick up where I left off! The app also seems to be able to intelligently tell your speaking pace. Not sure how to adjust this yet (the pace of the word scroll) but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it. Anyway, thanks again!

DONT HESITATE ON THIS ONE

So my wife and I are diving heavily into the online social media business model and found ourselves spending hours recording and writing outlines of our talks on dry erase boards and then trying VERY hard not to look like we are reading in our videos... lol ....then my wife found this app. It’s so easy to use that we downloaded it, learned it and used it to shoot two videos all in the same evening!! If you’ve ever recorded a video that you needed to use notes for then you would be the first to truly appreciate what this app can do, and if you are recording for the first time you will also win because you don’t have to suffer and learn the hard way like we did. ‘TRUST ME this app is worth every penny!!

BIGVU is a GAME CHANGER! Boom!

I love BIGVU. It has honestly supercharged my entire platform. Your program has inspired many new changes in the way I connect on social media, the way I teach my clients and the way I market my programs. Personally, the entire process is so simple that I can't wait to script each new video. I love the green screen feature. It eliminated the need to search for interesting background scenery for my videos. Now, I can shoot from the beach, an airplane or the circus, without leaving my home studio. Boom. Additionally, in my "Seven Simple Steps to a Career Boost at any age", Step #6 is called "Your SECRET Sauce!". Before I found BIGVU, my plan was to show my clients how to read a script from a piece of paper next to their cell phone camera. The objective is to give them the only resume with a video inserted. Now, thanks to BIGVU, we don't have to pretend to have a teleprompter, we have one in our pocket. Boom That! Thanks, BIGVU is going to be a major factor in boosting my own career by selling my advice and experience through video. I'm a fan, an advocate and plan to recommend BIGVU to my thousands of BFF's on social media. :)

BIGVU tech support is awesome!

The small nonprofit organization I work with uses BIGVU to caption our videos and add extras like our logo and music to the videos we share on our social media accounts. It’s ease of use in both the app and desktop is what initially drew the organization to choose BIGVU and invest in a paid account. Recently we ran into some issues with captioning and the support team worked with me throughout the week to find a fix. Very happy that we are up and running again! They’re constantly updating to making things user friendly and I speak for my entire board when we say that we’re grateful.

Customer service is bad and I can’t cancel service

For the last few days I have been trying to get customer service to help me with an issue I was having with their application. I could not login with my email account on my IPhone. Using their chat on the site, I waited several hours for a human response. I tried for 2 days and nothing accept an email saying to many conversations were going and they would send a follow up message. Nothing happened, no one responded properly, and my question was not answered and now I’m so frustrated with the lack of service I am canceling my subscription . Oh, but wait,,, there’s more. The instructions for canceling my subscription said go to my profile and unsubscribe!!! Only there is no link to unsubscribe!!! Nothing!!! I can’t even delete my credit card information. No way to stop it.

Minor issues with app after a few uses

So, I noticed after a week of using this app that the teleprompter speed does not keep the same momentum through out my speech. For example I will choose 160 WPM or 170 and at random it slows down or speeds up. Next, I wish that it could connect to Instagram more effectively then the just social links. When I do that Instagram for some reason isn’t compatible. Lastly, once I upload a video longer than 1 min, it won’t allow me to share it any where else so it’s kinda defeating the whole purpose of helping me talk to my viewers without cutting up scenes looking choppy. Hopefully these things can be fixed soon or I’ll just have to go to another app with better features.

ABSOLUTE TRASH. Doesn’t do what it claims

First of all, you need a paid version to get the videos off the app to the computer. 2: after 3 hours of trying, they finally started uploading to the cloud to get them off the app. 3: they upload very slowly. 4: if you leave the app it restarts. SO, it won’t load in the background. 5: doesn’t seem to be a way to edit clips like a regular video editor. It only trims beginning and end. What’s the point of that. 6: now I tried to add subtitles and it keeps giving me errors. This is the worst app I have ever used. Don’t waste your time. And I recorded a bunch of takes through the app. Which were then stuck on there. In order to download them to use another app you have to upgrade so you can add them to cloud then download. I did fee trial and canceled right away. ABSOLUTE TRASH. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Totally Not Satisfied

Totally Not Satisfied Hello, I have been using BigVu for years; the current version is buggy and does not meet its promised performance. I use the APP on an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Here is a summary of the issues that I am experiencing: Regardless of the scrolling speed set, the scrolling slows down after a few video takes, and I have to restart the APP. When exporting the video with or without captions, the frame rate is not consistent with the original video frame rate. And the new video is highly compressed. It's not good if you want to expect high-quality video. When using the "Eye Contact" feature from an uploaded video, the finished video has an inconsistent color (extreme saturation), and the final video has high compression. Also, when using the "Eye Contact" feature on a video created with the APP, the final video has high compression. I have requested from BigVu an explanation, and as of today, I have received vague answers without a solution. I am subscribed to the Plus subscription and plan to cancel it upon expiration. I suggest BigVu fixes the APP bugs to stay in the market as a leader in providing teleprompter tools. Regards, César

Need BigVu to allow me to get the app on my phone

I really love using big view but I’ve been using it on my computer and somehow they refused to let me use it on my phone and it looks like they want to charge again for a separate account or else it says that that email is already taken. I hate when high-tech companies get very low tech when it comes to being user-friendly. Big view. This is a great app. I hope you figure this all out.

Saving problem

I’d give this a five star but for how many times I’ve wasted hours with this app losing scripts. It doesn’t auto save and even if you hit “save” thinking you saved it, if you happen to move out of the app without realizing that you didn’t title your script, it’s all gone. It doesn’t save unless you filled in the title box. Spend an hour perfecting a script hit the save button thinking you’re safe only to find that because you didn’t title it it saved nothing. A serious flaw in the design. It’s amazing to me that an app like this isn’t auto save just as with Notes or so many other apps that involve text. At a minimum it should allow you to save by hitting the save button, whether or not you gave the script a title.

Great app overall, but I have only one issue.

I find this app to be extremely useful in the development of my blog, and I love how the text centers me on the camera as I read. Phenomenal app overall honestly. My only issue is in the script writing process. When I’m writing a script, and I opt to go to another for insight on what I’m writing about for example, when I return to the app, it restarts completely, deleting the content I had just worked on, while saving only what has only been published. Any help on this issue? Once again, the app is a God send, and maybe this is just an issue with my particular app. I’m honestly not sure. Thanks in advance for your help!

Great concept. But unreliable

The concept is brilliant. But the technical aspects of the app are sorely lacking. Script writing and import are easy. Recordings, easy and has some great editing features like the ability to Zoom in and out on specific portions of your video. And the ability to select which words you want highlighted. But when trying to edit the beginning, ending or anywhere in between. It just buffers endlessly. Even shutting down and re-opening the app doesn’t work. And the converting time - recording to video takes forever. I’d gladly pay again if it worked as advertised. (I purchased the 6-month option). The app is quite promising, but I don’t need promising. I deserve what I paid for.

Video sharing bugs are frustrating

1. Difficult to share the recorded video... either the cloud upload provides a link to an entire project, or the upload of a 2 minute video to a file share service times out over wi-fi, or a post to a Facebook group states as successful yet never shows up on the group. 2. Scroll timing is inconsistent/ not smooth and at times jumps or slows while reading a script. There are some elements I do like, such as response from support, and now that I’ve figured out the non-intuitive interface it’s easier to use — but I think the file sharing issues and lack of video download capability will be a deal-breaker for me soon.

Exposure is messed up

I like the layout of this app, and that it times your script for you when you write it. I’m trying to make 1-minute long videos exactly, so it’s incredibly Helpful. That being said, I HATE the auto exposure feature. I constantly have to re-record my video because the apps camera doesn’t automatically adjust to my exposure when I use my ring like, and either makes the shot way to dark or way too overexposed. I’ve fidgeted with the auto exposure lock switch, but it rarely helps. If that feature could be fixed I would rate this app 5 stars and use it for everything. It’s SUCH a huge pain point

The teleprompter feature was nice, but what I was excited for was the captions. I figured that since I literally had already typed all my text into the app, (and it’s being synced with the video while recording) BigVu would be using that text. BUT NO, IT APPEARS TO BE USING SOME SORT OF VOICE TO TEXT SOFTWARE TO CREATE THE CAPTIONS. Which doesn’t seem very smart. I literally already typed in the text. But NOW I HAVE TO GO BACK THROUGH THE CAPTIONS AND CHANGE LIKE A MILLION MISTAKES THE VOICE-TO-TEXT MADE?? This makes literally ZERO SENSE. If this changed I would change my review. ALSO IT SEEMS TO BE RECORDING IN SD?? Why? This needs to be taking full advantage of the camera available. If not, it’s pretty useless.

Takes anxiety out and saves my viewers’ time

What a great idea! The app helps me to produce videos without stumbling and looking for words thus saving time for my viewers. I am able to deliver the content I want and minimal time. Plus, the fear of camera is real, people :-) This app solves the problem. 4 stars only because I believe there’s always room for improvement, which I believe the company is passionate about. Their support via email is great as well. Thanks, Sarah, for the quick and detailed instructions when answering my question. Looking forward to seeing more creativity from you guys.

so so upset

I literally get kicked out of the app every single time the app crashes then can’t get back into it for days. I was actually a partner program with them and now I stopped it because I mean, I don’t want to tell my subscribers why the app keeps crashing, so I’m just so disappointed with this app because I thought I had, the right tools, but you can’t even use it. I even paid for the year subscription that was a waste.

Good Teleprompter, Bad Subtitler

The teleprompter feature is fantastic. 10/10 would recommend. I’m not sure why the closed captioning is so different. When I add captions in TikTok, I usually have to change 3-5 words but the rest is correct. In BIGVU, 80% of the captioning is incorrect. Plus, it’s almost impossible to correct. Maybe there’s a glitch with my app, bur I tap the text to edit and it often wont let me select any text unless I tap over and over and over again. As is, the captioning feature is unusable.

Good teleprompter but lacking video adjustments

I like the program, but I see no way of adjusting the video resolution other than 720, 1080, or 4K. Not only do you have to pay more for 4K even if you have no plans to store on their servers, but you can’t change the frame rate. So the lights in my office flicker. They don’t if I film 24 fps, but you don’t get that option, despite apple giving it to you in their camera app. I canceled the subscription due to this. If you are charging over 100 dollars a year, you should allow complete control over video and audio.

Use Your Phone as a Teleprompter

Do you want to make high-quality videos using your phone as a teleprompter? Do you want to add the text to show up on your video? I have compared all apps for making videos using my phone as the teleprompter, and BigVu Teleprompter Pro Video was best for me. Easy to learn and start using. Also, the company was very responsive to my help request. This help included a call from one of the team to help me learn how to use the newest features the company has rolled out.

Great but Limited

You should be able to let the camera run while you do several takes without having to stop the camera and start completely over. You can not use your finger to scroll back up to a certain part of your copy where you screwed up. You have to start completely over. And you can start a new take from a certain part of your copy. It always starts from the beginning! My video is 9 minutes long and it’s very frustrating. But overall great quality. But this issue almost makes this app useless for me in my case unfortunately.

Make sure you save your scripts!!

So far I really like the app. It’s user friendly and has what I need at this point. But my one really huge disappointment is that the scripts don’t save unless you do it manually. Perhaps an upgrade for the next rendition? Auto save? I had just finished my first script which was quite long and got side tracked by my children. The app was still open, I didn’t close it out. When I can back to it, all my hard work was gone. 😢 I have such limited time to write scripts as I’m juggling my kids, my business and all the things. So don’t make the same mistake as I did.

Literally so frustrating

Everything was going good until I tried to save the video I recorded. Although it said I could put it in drop box and email it it in fact wouldn’t work. That’s an hour of my time gone. I really needed this to work for a school project and now I can’t submit it because It won’t let me download it. Maybe it’s just me and I’m having technical problems but all I know is that it won’t let me save it. Even when I tried to screen record it wouldn’t work. If you don’t want to start a trial for the app I recommend not using this. And seeing how the only review in here is a positive one I’m sure my review will be taken down soon. ):

Quick Customer Service

I ran into some roadblocks using the site online and couldn't find a live agent to help in an urgent manner, and resortedto email. Much to my delight they were extremely fast in their email replies and also guided me towards finding help via live chat. I find this tool to be very useful and worth every penny and having customer service that is so responsive only adds to my satisfaction. Good Job German 👌🏻

Great app

BigVu is such a great application for creating serious intense intentional content. You get the simplicity of using a Teleprompter while streaming. When doing so it allows the sleek look of speaking while maintaining eye contact. With this advancement streamers should be able to create contents that is deemed professional. We should have a streaming award show for creativity and professionalism while creating our own work of integrity.

One major drawback!

I would give this raving 5 stars for all the features it has and how easy it is to use, if it wasn’t for how slow it is to update your changes and edits! I have 5G high speed internet and it took 3 hours to edit and upload a 1:29 second promo, due to the lag in uploading videos to use in the composer. I even tried different internet browsers to see if Chrome or Edge was the culprit. I don’t have endless time to come back to my screen and check on the status of updates. Does nothing I hoped for

There’s a huge lack of attention to new customers, go figure… contact info while trying to figure this app out comes back “turn off and sign in again” wow what a genius, then to get someone on a chat you’ll have to make an appointment for next month, we’re in June, if I’m spending my money shouldn’t I get someone today? Latest tomorrow. Out of frustration for two days of trying to figure this out, and I’m in IT … I give you guys “The Finger” and I’ll spend money with the other “Best Teleprompter “. Now you won’t let me send in my comment until I give a star rating…. So I have to do one star but you don’t even deserve that…

Disappointed Immediately

I was so excited at first to download this app. Then I saw even if I paid such a really overpriced amount to subscribe for only SIX months, the highest thing it unlocks is just under an hour. That is absurd. I would rather use a separate program or device from my phone than be controlled and limited by an app. This is a serious design flaw right off and I have no interest in the hassle. I am into limitless, thanks. I will decide myself how long I want to take to make my own videos and content, goodbye! I deleted it right after I had installed it when I was hit with that little bomb of information.

Autosave Broken

If I’m writing my script, and something interrupts me, like a work call or other urgent notification, and I exit the app without CLOSING the script, ALL my changes are lost… exiting the app doesn’t cause any aurosave to happen and so I’ve lost at least 2 hours of work over the last couple weeks because of this issue. I love the app but this is discouraging and is a really poor UX. Please fix this.

Great idea, needs a LOT of improvement

I love the idea, but it has lots of bugs while downloading the clips. It takes a while to load the videos when I come back to the app from another app. It’s probably a couple seconds, but in this age of technology were everything is instant, the delays seem like something that should be fixed. Additionally when I download my videos, if I flip the video because the camera is not inverted, a black screen comes for the first couple seconds & deletes the first second or two. Other than that. Great app.

Teleprompter Review

The ap worked for 2 weeks and I loved it. After 2 weeks the AI script writer started giving me messages that I had used up my daily usage and to retry after midnight. The problem with that is I hadn’t used it that day. When I tried to download a video, it said my URL was not identifiable. I removed the ap and restored it per their online instructions and it still did not work. Contacted their customer services at least 2 times and never got a response. They really need to work on correcting the bugs and their response to consumers and problems.

It’s a must have app!

I’m a professional broadcaster and this app is powerful, versatile and easy to use. I purchased a new iPhone Xs max recently and the script was being obscured by part of the phones screen when you turned it sideways. I contacted the apps support team and in less than a week they had it fixed. That’s service! This is truly worth every penny and then some. If you’re wavering over purchasing this app, don’t, it’s worth it!

Green screen a bit dodgy

I’ve tried a few teleprompter apps to make short instruction videos for clients, and I was especially intrigued by the green screen option on BIGVU because I thought it would give me more flexibility. It does work, and the effects are ok, but the quality of the video is quite poor. I think the green screen would maybe work ok for still photography, but for video it isn’t quite there yet. Given this, I’d say that there are better teleprompter apps out there that deliver better quality video for considerably less money.

Great features when I can use it

I loved the features of this app for my first project. When I went back to use it again for another video, the app repeatedly crashed. I checked for updates on the app and my phone and the problem persisted. After multiple attempts that tripled the time I needed to do the project, I was able to capture the videos. I spent hours yesterday trying to access the app and was unable to access any content due to repeated crashes, even turning my phone on and off multiple times. The App Store says my device is compatible. Any ideas why this is happening?

Not working

This app was great initially when I started using it over a year ago. However now it has constant crashes while I’m using it I have to stop start over the screen just goes black it just shuts down this is ridiculous! Can’t seem to get a response from Big Vu on how to troubleshoot the problem. Was a great app in the beginning but unless I can get a response to my multiple questions I may have to look for another resource when it comes to a Teleprompter

Great app, when it works

After loading a video and cropping, adding subtitles, etc. like I’ve done many times before it got stuck processing. No big deal it happens. And then it happened again. And again. And again. Contact customer service and they essentially go through the “is it plugged in and turned on?” type of troubleshooting. Yes, yes I did that, yep that too. No resolution. Following week, back to filming a video (let’s try it again) and the same thing happens! Back to customer support, back to the “is it plugged in” troubleshooting. Yep, did that (again). Yes, I uninstalled and reinstalled. No it’s still not working. So, finally a glimmer of hope when I get a Zoom call scheduled with an expert to help me out. Only one problem, the guy ghosted me. Unfortunately, we getting very close to asking for a refund and trying a different service. Just disappointing.
