Customer Support

One of the things that I truly appreciate about this company is their customer support. It can feel very odd sending an email and not sure when you will get a response back. My emails never go unanswered. They are very personable and work with you to get your bot where it needs it to be. I was having great consistent success with my bot for some time, but then all of a sudden it seemed to not be working. I reached out to customer support and modifications were made to get it back on track. While the modifications did not work right away, they continued to modify the bot until it was back on track. I appreciate the responsiveness and the continued effort to get my bot where it needed to be.

Do not recommend

The process was absolutely terrible from beginning to end. It took over four months to get a working tee time Bot when in the end of the only thing I needed to do to make it work was upgrade my subscription beyond the basic one. I then bought in and subscribed to the highest level in order to not have to pay for cancellation bots for each of the courses I had a bought for, and then was never able to actually get one working so I transitioned to a competitor teetimesnipe, and canceled my subscription. But, they won’t refund me further terms of service. All in all I would never recommend the service to someone who is using it exclusively for booking teetimes. I can't speak to the other services.

Bot-It FTW!

Reading some of these 1 star reviews makes me wonder, because I’ve been using this service since before they integrated onto the App Store and have had no issues securing reservations (I play at public courses that might be considered hard to book like Los Verdes, Rancho Park, Rio Hondo GC, etc.) in the Los Angeles area. A big S/O to Maurice, Joel, and the Bot-it team for always keeping my golf schedule covered! I suppose any constructive feedback would be that since courses book through different website platforms, I’m sure the efficacy of the bots might vary for others. Any ideas on how to streamline this process across the board? In the meantime, keep innovating! Thank you guys.

Useless — do not waste your money

This app can’t book tee times, despite it saying it can. I spoke with Avery on numerous occasions where she said she would call me back, but never did. They continue to charge me $10/m while they can’t get any bots to work. It doesn’t surprise me that it’s a scam business after researching the owners. Be aware! Edit: dev response to my review is silly. I paid for 3 months of service and not a single tee time was ever booked. All they do is claim “we don’t guarantee it’ll book tee times” and refuse to provide a working bot. They thrive on taking $10/m from people and providing no product in return. Don’t purchase.

Did not work out

I bought this app to help book tee times and my local state course. Bethpage NY. After subscribing to the standard version I was told I’d need the premium version to book this course 25$/month. I guess no big deal bc I thought it would actually help. I’ve successfully booked zero tee times out of the 16 attempts. While their customer service got back to me a couple times to try and help I never scored a tee time and don’t think this app was worth my time or effort. Get your foursome all ready to book at the opening time and see who snags one bc this did not work at all. Really wish it had

Disappointed

I recently tried using Bot-It to book a golf tee time, and the experience was extremely frustrating. Despite multiple attempts, the system consistently failed to secure a reservation. What’s worse is the complete lack of customer support. When I reached out for assistance, I was met with unresponsive and unhelpful service. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a service that promises convenience fail so miserably in both functionality and customer care.

Great customer support

Great customer support. Had some challenges getting the app to book tee times but the support team is excellent. Very responsive, patient and determined as it took several attempts to dial it in but they stuck with it to get it working consistently. Very happy with the experience.

Best kept Secret!!!!!

I have been using Bot-it for the last year to book my SoulCycle classes , check-in to work , and so much more. People are so envious that I get my favorite bike and cycling class every week ! The customer service is great! They will help you to create the perfect bot to automate any of your online task.

Scam business

Stay away, I tried this to make tee times at my local muni. Failed every week, twice a week 4 weeks in a row. I constantly reached out for support and while they sent me responses they never actually resolved anything. There was no clarity into why the bot would fail. This is a scam and it’s obvious why they don’t give a free trial because they know their product doesn’t work.

Automation Made-Simple!

I was extremely excited to have found an App that allows me to save time by automating some of the dreaded time consuming tasks, like running reports and logging in to sites automatically. I can’t wait to come-up with more ideas to use Bot-it App 😃

The best customer service ever!!

My experience with his company was exceptional. They worked diligently to answer all questions and take care of my concerns. It is absolutely worth a try, they will do what ever it takes to make you happy.

Great for getting tee times

During the pandemic, it was impossible to get the teatime I wanted. Two of us would try to get the times we wanted and within 10 seconds, they were gone. I had heard about bots being helpful,so I tried Bot-it. For over a year now I have been getting my two teetimes and never have to sit by the phone anymore waiting for tee-times to be released. Reservations pop up in my email a minute later. Try then

Scam site that is impossible to cancel

I subscribed. It didn’t work. They up sold me and it worked twice but wasn’t worth it so I canceled the recurring charge via Apple App Store in May. Since then they have charged my credit card four months in a row and I challenged it via Chase. I wrote to their customer service snd they sent me a link to cancel. The link didn’t work.

Clearly awful

Responsive to the bot not working? Yes. Responses fixed issues and the bot worked? No way. Do not give this a second thought and pay for a service that doesn’t work. You’ll get responses from Avery saying he’s on it. Baloney. It’s lip service as nothing ever changed. Awful. Update: filed a complaint with Attorney General’s Office as this business is a fraud.

Bot-It will charge you after you cancel

I had canceled my subscription with them several months ago. After several emails asking them to stop charging me for a service I cancelled they are still charging me. I will have to change my credit card number just to avoid. Beware!!!

Do not pay a dime for this non working app

App is as useless as their bot scripts. I had better success rate booking manually, and this is even after i contacted them and they “fixed” the bot twice. Company is purely out to get your first month upgrade fee which is non refundable under any scenario. You’ve been warned!

Waste of $$$$!

I paid for an annual subscription and felt as if it was a bait & switch based on courses I wanted book. Plan purchased was suppose to be all I needed and then said premium to book Derain courses. In one year, I have booked a total of 0 tee times! Purchase with caution and don’t expect much! Highly Disappointed!

Bots don’t work

I worked with support for 2 weeks to try and get tee times. We changed URLs, login usernames, and passwords to no avail. I had better luck getting a tee time by setting my alarm. Support will say they reached out to me, which they did but I’m not going to do this back and forth for another bill cycle.

Does not work

I guess if your golf course, fitness class, etc has a simple enough booking site this may work but it did not for mine. Very poor customer support and I could not even get my customized bot to save the step by step process needed to reserve my time.

No luck

Have been trying to secure a tee time with this app for 2 weeks, keep getting emails that engineers are working on it , etc with no luck. Save your money. Update-After nearly a month and numerous promises still does not work. I think it’s a scam

Too slow

I wrote my first bot on a Friday. It is now Tuesday night and still waiting for it to be completed (site said within 12 hours). I needed it for Wed morning. Not very happy.

False advertising

3.99 subscription only allows you 5 steps in your bot. Nowhere on the app does it say this. Wasn’t able to even try the bot due to this limitation. Rip off.

Waste of money

Totally waste of money, Try to get teetime using Bot-It, no result! Not even once! I had much better outcome booking it manually.

Is there a zero star rating option?

I’ve given support staff 3 weeks to set up a bot for tee times. Should be a basic request but after multiple attempt nothing. I paid $10 initially and will not be getting that back but suspended the prescription. I will say they shared my email extensively which I needed to provide for the tee times site as a username. Is there a zero starting?

BEWARE: couldn’t get it to work, never received a refund

[UPDATE] If I could give this group a negative number of stars I would. They’re reply to the comment below was essentially “gosh, while you did cancel [within the cancellation window] and we never actually got a bot to run, we did write some code and so you’re not eligible for a refund.” I’ll now be thrilled to report them to my card issuer as fraudulent. DON’T GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY Far too clumsy to use — not surprising as automated connections are tough. I canceled my account 2 days after signing up, before any bot had successfully run. Their claims of refunds in that case appear to be bogus. If I get any further charges from them I will report them as fraudulent.

Don’t purchase

I purchased this app to get automated tee times. Multiple emails with support team telling me the bots were working, but they never did. I had to manually get tee times every week. Finally, I wanted to cancel my subscription and that cannot be done in the app or on website. After multiple emails, I was finally able to cancel the app through Apple.com. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!

SCAM! STAY FAR AWAY! Does not work. Shady business.

Paid $25 for the subscription to book golf tee times at a couple local courses. After several weeks the bot has made a grand total of zero tee times. I contacted customer service after two weeks of no tee time bookings and was told it would be fixed. After another week passed with no tee times, I asked for my money back and was told Bot-It does not issue refunds “because of costs associated with running bots.” So basically I paid $25 for nothing. An automation business is a good idea in theory, just don’t use this company because they will scam you. 7/12/23 Edit (in response to the developer’s lie below): No one ever told me to change any settings. It was quite the opposite. In fact, I was told the engineers needed to tweak settings on their end. Perhaps your product would would work if you spent more time building and less time making up crap to save safe.
