I got the Spark Nano 7 tracker for my teen son’s vehicle to monitor his location and speed and was able to easily set up the device however I’m finding both the app and website extremely confusing to use. On the app, I’ve finally figured out how to view his driving trips and see the max speed he reached for each trip, however that is all I’m able to do at this point. I’ve tried everything possible to be set up notifications for his speed, however I have yet to receive a notification despite being able to see through his trip history that he has exceeded tbe speed at which I set for the notification. This app really needs to be redesigned to be more user friendly. I fully expect to pay a monthly or annual fee for a monitoring/tracking service, however I’ve now paid the $215 for a year subscription and am unable to use the features that were advertised and that I wanted when I purchased and subscribed to this product. I will say that the waterproof case is well designed and the magnet is strong enough to hold securely under the vehicle. The product itself is great, it’s this app that really needs an overhaul.
I have to agree with what others have said, it’s not user friendly. I am having trouble accessing features that were promised with a paid subscription. I do not get the notifications for speeding above the guidelines I set. I am not able to see when or where the speeding occurs. I do not get notifications on anything that I set up. I don’t see the app acknowledging the geofencing perimeters. Some of the stops and locations are not in the history. It’s selective about what locations it records in history. I’m not finding this gps locator to be worth the monthly subscription fee. The unit is well made and functional but it does not do everything promised
Zero problems. Worked without incident after the first charge. Battery life was great, only depleted to 73% after tracking for a week. Placed on a solid piece of the vehicle frame under the hood/behind the glove box on the passenger side (via reaching up through the wheel well from outside the vehicle). Newer cars are ALL plastic underneath and this was pretty much the only place to access the metal or frame. Withstood speeds of up to 83 mph on the freeway, some rain, and speed bumps. Accurate within 3 or 4 houses or businesses. If you need to know the truth about your vehicles current or historical location..look no further and purchase this NOW.!
I need someone to break down the instructions like I’m a 5 yr old. Since the… I’ve connected to both terminal (as intruded) current running the engine & dividing around for 30min (per instruction). Yet, I can register on the specific APP. I feel like I’m missing something (totally possible), but I’m really trying here. Anyone have similar experiences & or advice? As mobile apps go, this one is complex. As with anything, the more features and flexibility that exists, the steeper the learning curve will be. This app provides basic monitoring functionality that works quite well, but also offers tremendous flexibility with notification customization, etc. I suspect this is why many users rate it low. Also - the device itself is motion activated. Though this is pointed out in the included manual, I had kind of given up on the manual before I got to that part. As a result, I was initially confused as to why I would get constant “lost contact” and “restored contact” notifications, leaving me thinking I had a defective unit. My wishlist is this: 1. Put a “Log Off” button on the bottom bar to make that easily accessible. 2. Give the user access to change more of the settings that currently can only be done by contacting support; e.g., device update interval.
Although not 100 percent accurate on its exact coordinates, it’s pretty close. Close enough that I was able to catch my wife using my car at the exact address where she was seeing someone else. It did what I needed at the exact time I needed it. Without it, she would still be seeing the other man. Trust the device. I recommend it to anyone wanting to protect their lives.
I got this for personal use for my car. It's Easy to set up a self-explanatory app with customizable features. The website has plenty of helpful information. I read customer service is fantastic. I only speak for the premium plan and Diagnostic Plug-In GPS Vehicle Tracker. This is my first day so far, so good. It is easy to set up and navigate the app, and the features are impressive.
This app exceeds all standards of a GPS locator. App is easy to use, works well in any location, and I can feel safer knowing that if there was ever an accident, my husband can locate me in a fast and convenient way. Not to mention the company is outstanding, great customer service and always makes sure you are content with their services!
I appreciate knowing where my elderly mom is in real time. This product is an easy solution to that. It shows real time status as idle, moving and parked along with a history. I worry about her driving alone at night. By placing on the car dash and quickly syncing the app it brings peace of mind for both parents and grown children.
Can’t specifically blame it on the device itself… but it NEVER works.. after a call or email to support it works for a few hours then stops. Shows parked for hours and days at random locations. Don’t waste your money. My service vehicles need to be tracked 24-7 … not just a few hours after a troubleshooting request 😡😡😡… I am about to cancel my service and go with the company that tracks my other vehicles…. I guess that’s what I get for trying to save money🤷🏻♂️🤨😐
I’m happy to see some people are having good luck with this but unfortunately I am having the kind of experience the other users are talking about. When they say it’s not working. One day it did but every other day says it’s been parked and hasn’t moved. And I know it has. not sure what the problem is I haven’t tried contacting customer service yet hopefully there’s some thing simple that will get this thing working better
App does not update. Something has happened because route history is not updating correctly. It does not match up to the route the car took (which I’ve watched the gps on the car pinging the right location). I think it’s an issue with the app, but that does not help if I’m trying to track if the vehicle is stolen. The company charges an arm and a leg for what a private consumer needs. At next renewal, I’ll be switching to something different.
This service is not worth what it costs. It will tell you that a vehicle is at one location and then it’s suddenly at another but never shows that it moved locations which has me questioning if it’s even accurate as to the locations or if it’s missing some. I wish I would have known how horrible the service was before I bought the product and subscribed to the service because it’s costing me more then it’s benefitting me at this point.
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! My daughter is on a hiking trip through the state parks. This worked 2 x in the last 3 weeks. It still has her in Yellowstone area where she has not been now for 2 weeks. However, I have another app that finds the location of approved peoples phones. It has worked all along, no glitches! I would never recommend this GPS App to anyone! I’m only giving it 1 star because u have to give it at least 1 star to post this.

Item purchased reads half of the time. Mobile app and website for tracking as big of a joke. Total waste of time and money. Called for trouble shooting and low and behold no one available. They proudly take the payment and send a faulty device. Look at all reviews it’s always everyone else’s fault their product and development doesn’t work. Sure to see another lame response to this review with no help toward the customer.
This requires a subscription, as any GPS tracking app does, and its interface might seem intimidating, but it’s actually expertly designed and very powerful. An excellent companion to the web version of the app.
This is, undoubtedly, a piece of junk. Every now and then it works yet most times it does not. It’s very difficult to deal with their staff and their understanding of what is going on with their system. I am so sorry that I paid for a three month subscription only to find that the garbage doesn’t work part of the time, especially when I needed it.
This app has made me feel a little less stressed when it comes to my aging Mother. We live on opposite sides of town and I cannot always be around. This app has given me a little more peace of mind! It’s super accurate and easy to use! Thank you!!!
I have had this unit on my vehicle for over six months. This is definitely not worth the money. The device has to constantly be rebooted and even then it takes up to fifteen minutes for the system to work. Unfortunately I have a year contract with this device but I am not going to renew the contract and do not recommend this service at all.
This gps tracker is absolutely garbage. It shows that my car is parked in different town even when I’m driving it. When I asked for return 28 days after purchase, they said that it is only 30 days return policy and block me, so I cannot chat with them anymore. SCAMMERS!!! Don’t waste your time and money.
Device only works 2-3 days out of the week…shows vehicle at one location for days…even when I delete n reinstall the app it doesn’t help…I notice when I’m monitoring the device on my computer,it says no satellites are available…not happy with the service
I’ve had 2 of these trackers for a couple of years now. They have become more and more inconsistent and the app works about 25% of the time. The only thing that happens with any consistency is the billing of my credit card.
This tracker is a scam I got the tracker set up and everything and I’ve had it attached to my car for a few days now and it isn’t tracking anything it’s not showing where I’ve been or anything I keeps saying 0 this tracker is a con I highly recommended you do not get this
When I first started using this it was working 85% of the time. Now it doesnt work more than 20% of the time. Ive contacted them numerous times and nothing has been corrected Save your money look for another service
Poor product and support. Maybe 2 decades ago these were good. For less money you can get a cell camera to provide better gps, get video and better service for a fraction of the price.
This makes no sense how I got this device a week ago and it already messed up showing the car parked for 10h and the car not even home can y’all fix y’all device because y’all charge monthly
This is a garbage ap. I have to uninstall and then reinstall multiple times daily. It simply quits working and I get the spinning wheel of death. Absolutely terrible.
This product and company is an utter ripoff. Their software doesn’t work and customer support is nonexistent. Save your money and don’t buy anything from them.
This company doesn’t show you the full amount that you should pay before proceed with the service they charge me $1 172.76 and I was expecting to pay 29.99a month. Of course they show you the service plan only for a small fee but they don’t show you the full amount that you should pay before you proceed with the payment. They don’t specify the total amount for each service. And then they request my refound because the transaction it was completely a fraudulent.
Bought the GPS tracker off of Amazon and called Sam at the phone number provided with the product. He answered right away and helped me get logged in and now after using the device. It works very very well and I would definitely recommend it.
