This is a nice little app for us brivo customers. My only request to make it perfect is to allow the user to save the user name and password if they choose for faster access. Even better is to use the iPhone 6 finger print scanner to quickly enter the program. Would be nice to have toggles for both options. Hate having to enter user name and password every time. Other than that, it works good.
Granted the mobile app has limited functionality compared to the web UI, the mobile app update it leaps and bounds better than its predecessor. The drop down menu makes it easy to locate a campus rather than the poorly designed swipe method (which always started at “A”) previously in place. I do agree, the admin should be able to see the PIN. A few other features would be great for the next update, but this is far better than it was.
Anybody else getting this alert at random times throughout the day? Sounds like the access panel doesn’t communicate with their servers at times. When that happens people get a failed message and are not able to get the doors to unlock. Usually the problem goes away in a matter of a minute or two, but that is a long time when you’re standing outside a door unable to get in.
The Brivo Access update is terrible. Can no longer see the state of lock or unlock without actually clicking on the door. This is a pain. The app was redone to remove colors and icons which makes it more difficult to distinguish fields. It’s hard to know why these changes were made. 🤬
The whole point of an access control system is to be able to control access by day, date and time. This system is horribly lacking in that you CANNOT control by date range. Tech support and customer service confirmed this. If you want to have a schedule for May 2 thru June 1 and another for June 2 thru September, you have to create two schedules and remember to remove one from the user groups and add the other one in at the right time. THAT IS AWFUL and defeats the purpose of an automated access control system. Who wants to deal with constant manual intervention. Pretty basic feature and Brivo fails miserably here. And Christoper Russo in tech support - doesn’t like hearing the system has a limitations and deficiencies and hung up on me. How unprofessional can you get?!? If he is your tech agent, ask for anyone else. Better yet, don’t install a Brivo system.
App works well so far but it would be awesome if you could retain the credentials to access the app or at the very least allow for a PIN or TouchID. It becomes a bit of a pain to type in your credentials every time. EDIT: Thank you for adding the "Stay Signed In" functionality! App now works as desired! Updated to five stars.
I hope they release an update for this app. It has been working fine for a while but now when I log in, it doesn’t connect at all. Nothin works. When it was working it had all the basics. It took away the need to login to the website to perform simple actions. Please fix the app Brivo.
Tried it on the work iPad. Works the same as on my phone. Nice to have the bigger video player, and faster to the basic activity log and door control than going through the website each time. Will definitely download to my iPad mini.
Like most of us using Brivo as an office security system, we depend on the tools offered to track, record, and protect our people. This mobile app, when it worked, was very helpful and insightful in monitoring our environment. The Brivo app has not worked for me and many others for a very long time. This is obvious by the reviews. I have one question for anyone at Brivo that may be reading/listening: Where is your pride?!
This app is great. It enables me to manage my access system through an app. There are times I need to add users, delete users, open doors, and issue new codes. This app allows me the freedom of making changes in the go!
This app worked fine for 2 years. It looks like they added the new 4th generation control system, and now it does not work. I’ve talked to the tech department. They can not figure it out. I have no access on the app to see who’s coming in and out of my gym, to send a new pass to a new member or to see current members. It’s hindering business and i hope a resolution is figured out soon.
When you need to open a door, you need to open a door. Users should not have to login every time with complex passwords that take time to look-up, even after repeatedly clicking the ‘remain logged in’ switch upon login. This has got to be fixed as a priority. It’s 2022 and phones have face recognition technology this app once utilized well. PLEASE FIX!!!
The app is ok to see events or manage a user but there’s no ability to change or view a group’s schedule. The Lockdown menu item is there but it’s not functional. I hope the app gets improved!
Please fix the most recent release, v243, to reliably display names with card activity. Most of the time now it does not display names, even with refresh or close app/open app.
Signs me out constantly even though I’ve selected the option to keep me signed in. App won’t refresh on its own and I have to constantly close it out and reopen the app to get it to refresh.
I'm giving this a low rating since it forced me to update the app then deleted the login information. Now I can't get into my office!!!! I don't know the password since it's normally saved on there and I don't have to type it in. Pretty worthless when I actually need it!
Even though I am clicking the save login button at the login screen every time I close the app and reopen it prompts me for the credentials and again. Incredibly frustrating and unbelievable they haven’t fix this bug.
The brivo onair app stopped working weeks ago. We use the app to access our office. I keep calling and get no useful information about a fix. And stop telling me to update my iOS and brivo app. You acknowledge the app is failing and you haven’t yet issued a fix.
Customer service is terrible, they keep hanging up on me while I’m on hold, wasted hours and hours trying to set up my site. Never going to use brivo again. Waste of time and money.
Looks like this latest version (Jan ‘22) is completely unusable. Activity tab will not load. Doors will not unlock through app. Using full site as workaround but app is so much more convenient. Please fix!
This app once worked great but it doesn’t work anymore. We are limited to managing our door access through the PC now. The mobile app simply doesn’t work.
I upgraded our offices from Doorbird. This app does not send alerts to your apple watch. So if you don’t have your phone on you, you don’t know someone is at the door.
This app is horrible. It doesn’t show names before the update and now it won’t even show all the activity correctly. Does Brivo even know what it is doing?
