Easy to use - no glitches to date (knock on phone as opposed to wood) and I know the punch refers to punching in and out - but I thought I would throw in playful like a buddy would punch.
We have a catering business with about 75 employees that we pull from based on the size of our events. Having to inactivate them all and then reactivate every month led to errors and hold ups when employees would clock in. The software would be better if it only charged for employees that actively punch in during a month while letting us leave all of our employees active in the system. Also - we had a pattern of some employees with darker skin having problems with facial recognition. So that was bit embarrassing and led to the final decision to put everyone back on punchcards.
When punching in and out this app will not punch you in all the time. It's been multiple times I start work to realize it never punched me in, same as for punching in and out for lunch. You may think you did but when it's time to punch back in. There you see that it never punched you out. Think you punched out for work. Nope you're gonna get a email saying you been punched in for 12 hours! dumb
Easy, nice to use and convenient. Just need to make the app able to be horizontal (at least) on the iPad version because we use it at my shop and the iPads sit in locked horizontal placement!
Please please fix the app. On the iPhone when you go to punch in manually and it pulls the keyboard up to type in the date and time the app screen stays up at the top and doesn’t bounce back and the top half gets completely cut off. Drives me insane, please fix!!! Response: I don’t have a custom keyboard!! I wish I could send a video to show what it does. I have the standard iPhone keyboard and when I click on the time boxes the app launches my keyboard and that’s when the above happens.
Great app but I’ve noticed every couple weeks I have to delete the app and re-download it because I go to load the app it is just a blank white screen this only happens with other iPhone users I work with as well
This is a good app for punching in and out at work. However the website and app do not always work together. What is visible on the website is not always viewable on the app. It can be a little frustrating to have to go back and forth from the app to the website to make sure something has been done correctly.
Our team has been using this for about 3 years and it has greatly simplified keeping track of time. We use the QRO code which makes for a good punch system.
Great application. User friendly. But the customer service is just off the chain. By this I mean they kick ass in their prompt, precise, and concise help. I am very pleased with buddy punch. Wish I had used it much sooner.
This app is for use with a paid Buddy Punch account. Buddy Punch is an online time card, punch clock, scheduling, and payroll system for your employees. Having a business is hard enough, tracking your employee’s time and schedule should be easy. Simplify it with build in error handling, automatic overtime calculations, GPS coordinates, geofences, time card approvals, PTO tracking, facial recognition, alerts/reminders, an easy to use dashboard, and much more. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
