Just a few things

So I’m still fairly new to this app and so far I like it. The community is warm and welcoming BUT there are a few rotten apples in the bunch that just don’t like the changes going on, like welcoming us from “OTHER APPS” NOT EVERYONE IS RUDE on that other app for starters. 2. Can you guys PLEASE turn off the automatic NSFW VIEWING when people first sign up. You’re really giving the app an impression that, that is what Clapper is about, A HOOK UP APP or the impression that this is where you come to see T&A. For a newbie like me and others we were confused and wondering why we were seeing nothing but NSFW CONTENT. So please TURN OFF AUTOMATIC VIEWING when first signing up!PLEASE! 3. Can y’all please add the tagging feature so when can respond to people when in LIVE chat room! A simple tap on the persons name to comment back to them would be GREAT. Right now we need to WRITE their entire name then comment back. Lastly please DONT ADD FILTERS! Please keep the originality. Makes content creators think out of the box! Other than this thanks for welcoming me🥰

Little disappointed!

Just started using this app today first I’d like to say that I am a little disappointed because it doesn’t have nearly as much features as other apps do, like TikTok or CapCut. I could only trim my videos. I can’t edit them in any type of way or add any special effects to them. I can’t even add any stickers to them. As far as the font, I am not a fan of because other than just changing to a different color or adding a highlighted background to it, there’s nothing else that you can do. You can’t change the font style, can’t change the format of the font, but at least I can set a duration time🤷‍♀️. I wish that the app had more editing tools to create some cooler content! I feel like it’s a little boring compared to TikTok or CapCut or other social media apps. Oh also doesn’t have nearly as much music or sounds to choose from. Oh and can’t add pictures only videos, live or radio! Another thing I’ve noticed just within the little time of me actually using it, I have been noticing a lot of glitching. Other than that, I like the app so far it feels like the community is a lot more friendlier than other apps that I’ve been on people are really supportive and quick to follow you and like your content! The community is awesome so far! I’m all about supporting one another to build and grow! Just hope yall do some kind of update to the app to add some more features to it! 🙏😅

Clapper got social media RIGHT!

I’ve been on clapper for several months now. I enjoy it so much because it’s so different than other social media sites. This is the first social media app with video content creation that got social media right! Here they combat bullying the right way. They don’t allow the toxicity like on other social media platforms. You get to personally chat with the employees of the app. Clapper allows the community to get together and allow our voice to be heard. Aside from that, this app is also fun! The gifts in lives are great, the radio is unique, the highlights during holidays and the groups are fun! Not only have I met amazing acquaintances, I’ve also made real true friends that I can now talk off the app. The app is nearing on its 1 year Birthday/Anniversary…Yes there has been some glitches and some things that some OG’s have had to adjust because of something that is out of Clappers control. However, aside from all that, this app has grown and overall, I enjoy it very much! I hope this app continues to grow and I hope to continue being a part of this amazing clapper community! 😊🧡🧡🧡

Clapper is the best

I have been using Clapper for over four years now and I have to say, it is absolutely amazing! The platform has brought so many people together through the trending hashtag #MoreMayo and the Mayo wars that have been going on for years now. It is such a unique and entertaining concept that has kept me coming back for more. The sense of community on Clapper is truly something special. People from all walks of life come together to share their love for mayonnaise and engage in friendly banter and competition. It's a great way to interact with other creators and have some lighthearted fun. Sure, there are some individuals who may not understand sarcasm and take things a bit too seriously, but that doesn't ruin the experience for the rest of us. Clapper is a place where you can be yourself, have a good time, and connect with others who share your interests. I highly recommend giving Clapper a try if you're looking for a fun and engaging social media platform. Who knows, you might just get caught up in the Mayo wars and find yourself becoming a #MoreMayo enthusiast like the rest of us!

an honest review

I downloaded a few days ago, It’s hard to get used to if you’re joining with the expectations that it will equate to tiktok. actually I personally like it much better after fixing my algorithm. there are no filters at all when recording which i have no problem with, it seems to discourage insecurities from being created and fed into in the app. you can upload videos still so this doesn’t limit you from editing your posts. the thumbs down button will take content off your foryou page, this is awesome however if you accidentally click it on a video you enjoy, say asta la vista cause you'll never see it again. personally I LOVE the fact that both spanish and english posts are in my feed. i’d like to broaden my horizons, not shrink them. but if you’re choosing one language over another, say not interested on the language you don’t want. the community is much better here but I do wish the algorithm didn’t look like an onlyfans page before the algorithm gets your likes right. it was very unpleasant to have to say not interested about 50 times before it understood i’m not interested at all in that content. group chats help to find your niche community faster. this app has some great features and hopefully can keep up with the rise in traffic on the app. people in the community are also not extremely fragile like in tiktok. you can disagree and still get along. as it should be, cause no one agrees on everything.

Needs some final touches

Fairly new to the app.. BUT!! We got some issues.. Notifications: there is ALWAYS 1 message!! No matter what you open in the messages, there is always 1 in the notifications! I’ve watched the “new to clapper” video 6 times!! It will take it away for a minute,then come right back!! But nothing new in the notifications or highlighted!! The algorithm not accepting other apps??? Well We all don’t have brand new phones with spectacular cameras, these other apps allows us to sharpen an otherwise dull clip!!!! Either implement options or limit the app to a few that can afford $1k phones.. uploading videos:when trying to uploading a clip,then decide to use another clip,then remove selected clip to pick the other?.. It won’t let you!!! You must back completely out of the app, close it!! Re-open it, then you’re able to upload the clip that you wanted!! .. music selection!! Is kinda 😒 AND since your algorithm doesn’t like other apps??? Music is limited!! Clapper needs more options!! Fix that notifications!! And allow some apps guys!! If you want us to post our other socials on the bio?? Then kinda need us to use them!!!

High potential

I was recruited to this app from being seen on a different platform I’m a creator on. I enjoy having an app that focuses on freedom of speech, politics, point of views- things that a lot of viewers don’t want to see on other apps. This app gives the ability to create content on these topics that others can engage with. On my other platforms my content isn’t based around content like this. Those apps aren’t created for those topics that this app is specifically for. I enjoy to step away from my other content and have the ability to share my thoughts/beliefs on here. I enjoy having a like and dislike option. The reason I give 4 stars is for 2 things I dislike. 1- the quality of a video I create and shared onto here is horrible! Video quality seems like “GIF” quality. 2- I will receive a notification, but I can’t get my feed to update when I try to look at comments/likes. This app has a lot of potential moving forward. I honestly wouldn’t of known of this app unless I received a message.

Clapping furiously for Clapper!

Clapper is a relatively new social media app that is quickly gaining popularity. Clapper VS. TikTok

I’m still new to clapper so I can’t give it 5 starts just yet. I’m still struggling with learning how to get videos on the FYP and learning about the editing features. Here is what I can tell you. Yes TikTok has lots more features when it comes to filters and editing. Sure that can be fun but it’s also very fake. You follow people not knowing who they truly are. On social media yoj can be whoever you want. You can crest this whole fake life and image but even more so on TikTok. On clapper you can see people for who they are and creators tend to be much more authentic on there. Sure it’s a bit sluggish and they have some work to do. Especially with the mass influx of people coming over from TikTok but guess what. You can be your self. There are little to no band as long as you don’t do extremely crazy off the wall stuff and it’s still a great place to meet people and socialize!

Much better than tiktok but also has room to improve

I came to clapper from tiktok and the difference is astounding! I am actually able to post all of my content freely without being blocked or banned for no reason! The algorithm is made a lot more clear and moderation is held to a exact guidebook and not just personal opinion. The community is generally nice and if they don’t enjoy the content they typically just scroll. That being said, there’s always room for improvements! I do think that clapper should have more editing features and introduce some “effects” or filters. I know that they don’t want to just copy tiktok completely but being an app focusing on lifestyle, blogging, and educators a few effects and editing features would defiantly improve creation. I tend to make videos on tiktok still and then reupload to clapper which is troublesome. I also would like to see a bit more improvement to the audio selections as well as organization! Audio is always incredibly important when it comes to content and scrolling through each sound that seems to be sorted randomly is a bit of a chore. All in all it is a very solid app with a lot of potential. I think they would do well to start attracting the tiktok crowed who have been burned by tiktoks horrible team.

For a new App, it is fantastic! I find so many wonderful things that TikTok doesn’t have. You can Duet in your Live! You don’t have to have 1000 followers to go Live as with TikTok. They take a fraction of the percentage of the gifts you receive on your Live. They are constantly making updates and improvements to the App! It’s a super positive experience! No Trolls!!!! The App Developers are incredible and so supportive. They give you an amazing amount of support and you can actually chat with a person when you have questions or need assistance! It’s an adult atmosphere. Can’t wait to see how this App continues to grow. The only things that are a little annoying amid the number of notifications that come across and the music library is very, very limited. However, word is they are in process of improving that feature.

Tiktok but make it Idiocracy

Didn’t like the videos on my feed. They were all really not great at all. I liked the first two videos I saw and then after that it was just a bunch of videos that seemed like the creators were trying too hard, jokes that weren’t funny, a lot of perverted content, and stomach churning predatory type people all over this app, I could go on but I’m sure this paints enough of a picture. Most of the content is, unsurprisingly, of the far right wing variety so it makes sense. Birds of a feather flock together. I was hoping for a tiktok alternative but this essentially just ended up being the version of tiktok they’d use in the movie Idiocracy, it’s pretty bad. :( maybe I’ll come back if the app is able to pull in creators from more niches and backgrounds so the content is more varied. Also the whole “clapback” aspect, while really clever and I like the general idea and play on words, over all the place it has in the app is kind of negative in connotation and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The whole app is just kind of a bad vibe :/

It’s fine

The app is geared towards social interaction. I see it as a place to kinda stir up drama as it seems best fit for creators that have very strong and controversial opinions. You can “clap back” at another creator in the way you can stitch/duet on tiktok. But a lot of the videos I’ve seen like that make it seem like you can’t mute or quiet down the original video as it always plays over yours in the corner of the screen. Some of the content is good but a lot of it is just mundane life. I think this app has potential but I could never suggest it as a replacement for tiktok without some major upgrades. Quality of video is poor after uploading, there’s no ability to use audios in the way you can use them on tiktok and the editing is bare minimum. I’m gonna use it and see if I can develop content for it that suits the platform better but it’s definitely not the next tiktok like people seem to be saying. Enjoy it for what it is and you’ll love it.

I had high hopes

Okay i think most of the issues are obvious but ill be specific. I started my clapper account and instantly noticed the main group of people using the app. I started posting, my videos did well from the start once i got the hang of the algorithm. Then the middle aged clapper women got mad because the young Onlyfans girls that were getting kicked off tiktok were on Clapper. Now i was told by a OF girl to post my food vids on clapper not a middle aged adult. Although the middle aged adults were the primary ones liking and following me. Fast forward a bunch, i havent used the app in months 200+ notifications but i dont post because ITS BORING. It was the same as it was then, now. This is WestVirginia Hillbilly tiktok with no beautiful women and old people. Most of those people look like cousins. Theres so much potential. An how are you making money with no ads? Plus the layout is terrible. I know your looking for an older crowd but this aint it chief. I really did try.

I really like it but it could grow too.

I LOVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH!! This is definitely my favorite thing about this app. So important! I get on here to hear real news and opinions that aren’t censored! I have really been enjoying it a lot but there is room for improvement. I know this is supposed to be the alternative to TikTok (thank God) but it is missing some of the bells and whistles. I would like to see more categories appear. There’s so much to see on TikTok, I’d like to see more on here. To be perfectly honest, TikTok was my outlet to sing without having to post on Facebook or Instagram. Singing to strangers is a lot easier than your friends so I enjoyed that but there’s not much of that on clapper. I love watching people display their talents too so I think it’d be more fun if there was more of that too. But I am loving the ability to be honest on this platform about politic, yes, but other things as well. Thank you, Clapper!

Thank you for allowing me to have free speech

I love clapper even more so than I ever did tiktok. Mostly because of the free sheep child. I feel I am allowed to say whatever I want with out being banned. I know hate speech doesn’t count, but I also feel like clapper allows me to defend & take up for myself & I try to do that in a way where I’m not being too hateful. I’m definitely not racist, homophobic, transphobic or whatever type of phobic there is against ppl who are different! So thanks! I have 4 out of 5 stars because I feel a few things could be different. There should be more music to choose from & I wish I could upload more pics at once than just 1. I can pick up to 30 some vids to use, but only one photo. I also would love to have a blue check mark. I have nearly 13k followers if not more now & I could make funnier & better content!

Awesome app

I honestly think this app is awesome... there are negatives to it but overall I think it’s a great app... some things I would recommend is adding more stuff that’s different from tik tok... Something that makes it awesome compared to tik tok... when it’s similar to Tik tok all you do is compare it to tik tok and that’s not always the best... here are some of my suggestions that might be cool... it’s my opinion so some of them are stupid... 1. Maybe you can make a leaderboard of the top people who have the most followers, you can also maybe do this for the likes, and top shared videos, all types of different categories. I think this idea could be awesome bc I’ve never really seen it anywhere else in a app like this.. I don’t have time right now to finish so this is all I’m writing... but I definitely recommend this app to everyone!!!

Needs a lot of fixes for a new release

It’s the 17+ version of TT which is awesome for video microbloggers who don’t want an audience of minors, however the app needs a lot of work. Sometimes while scrolling, you’ll still hear the audio of the last video you were on while the current video is playing. Often while clicking “like” while a video is playing, the video will abruptly stop, causing the user to scroll back and return to the video and restart it to finish it, which affect the amount of views the video is actually getting, or looking like the user is “spam liking” the video. The algorithm needs some serious tweaking. It’s a great app for all users but if my interest isn’t gun collecting, it doesn’t make sense to see them in my FYP repeatedly. If they aren’t truly moderating their content while supporting free speech, it’s going to be a slippery slope and end up like Parler. The blocking system needs fixing. I should be able to block and not see the user ever again. All other apps do this. Adults want to play with cute filters too, come on! While uploading a video, it looks like there’s some double-processing going on before it’s even uploaded? It took forever to get to “edit” the video, and THEN publish it. Other than that, looking forward to the future of this app. :)

No response from support

I use to us clapper but for the past month I’ve had a rather common issue based on the some of the other reviews where I can’t see any lives from people I follow nor can I find new ones other than a small hand full of old guys. I’ve tried contacting support I’ve received zero response for 2 weeks on my own I’ve tried clearing the cache, reinstalling the app, I even tried making a second account to see if it’s just my account but nope it’s happening on the second one as well so I give up on this app for the most part :/ update: months now I still can’t see lives all I got was a email to update my ticket and all the link it had for was take me to some splash page with no relevant information to help me and now there’s a glitch that you’ll get auto kicked out from Iives if you hit follow while in a live this is the most bug ridden app I’ve been please don’t use this app if you want to keep any sort of sanity

Great Potential

I was brought over from TikTok. I am a part of the CoinFamily and we focus on coins and helping each other out. I am beyond amazed at what Clapper has to offer. Here are some suggestions I have though. • Camera Zoom function during Lives • A Web browser site that can be accessed online not just the app • Higher Quality Video; I have a iPhone 13 Pro and when I go live it looks like I’m using a iPhone 3. • More editing to videos made, there’s not really filters and effects you can add to the “Claps?” Videos you make. Other than those things I think this is a really solid platform. I love that you can do shop lives, list items to your shop and you’re not charged an arm and a leg like other places *cough cough*… If I could get some type of editor or reply from one of the devs maybe saying that they’ll work on getting these things or at least look into it. I think I would wholeheartedly make the switch to Clapper 100%. Right now I’m about 25% here and 75% there and would honestly love to make it 100% here. So please let me hear what you have to say devs!

Free speech

During these trying times, we all need a voice. Sadly, tyrannical social platforms are silencing opinions of those that don’t play along with their rhetoric. Clapper on the other hand is a platform where people from both sides of the aisle have an opportunity to share their political opinions and religious beliefs. The user interface is very similar to that of Tiktok. Clapper has an advantage over TikTok on a few aspects. They have “groups” which is a great way for people to hold group conversations. They also have a dislike button which tiktok doesn’t. The app has a long way to go as far as effects and editing, but with the support of the community they will get there soon. Of your looking for a mew platform that resembles tiktok but doesn’t silence those who disagree, Clapper is the one.

100% Better than Tik Tok

Ever since Tik Tok went on the government radar it has sucked monkey balls! I heard about clapper and decided to check it out and it turns out that’s where all the cool kids are! Bye bye Tik Tok! I’m loving clapper we are free, free at last! The way a platform should be. You don’t constantly hear people saying they violated this or that. You don’t hear that videos where taken down. I was literally getting so sick of people saying this on Tik Tok. After we all reached out to our politicians for most of us the first time in our lives they sold us out. Oh yeah let’s not mention all the mean trolls(gov), clapper doesn't have that b.s. here either. It really is refreshing. Thank you Clapper please don’t change a thing.

Amazing App. So much better than Tiktok

I was so fed up with tiktok when I found clapper and it was immediately refreshing. Tiktok has the worst and most ignorant moderation system there could be. But this is about Clapper. The silly random videos I was suspended for on Tiktok are fine here because there was nothing wrong with them in the first place and you don’t know how much I respect platforms that don’t harass you ever 3 or 4 posts for something. Try clapper you won’t be disappointed. I had 500 followers within 2 days. I did bring over a lot of content the first day but I say that for anyone that is worried about traffic and users on clapper there are a lot and they seem to respect free speech so far. Tiktok makes me sick.

Needs improvement, but good start.

There are some big things I feel Clapper is lacking just from skimming the user interface and setting up my account. Please give us a choice to show comments or not. I personally don’t want others to see what I’ve commented on. Feels very intrusive. Dark mode toggle would be wonderful. Everything on my phone is dark mode. Right now Clapper is not fun to use bc of how bright it is. Generally annoyed the app just, randomly gave me 30 creators to follow. There are no filters, filming feels very bare minimum compared to tiktok. No auto caption feature, I hope that gets added quickly. It’s something ppl have been asking tiktok for a long time (technically it’s not out for all users so it’s still not out), so having that would be a big boost for this app. Same problem with the interface of the app covering up videos- can it be toggled/disappear after a few seconds? Reappear if you tap on the screen or pause? I can’t put a finger on it, but visually something about the app is bugging me. I think it’s bc it’s too close to tiktok, so it very obviously looks wrong. (Kind of an uncanny valley situation I guess.) Maybe looking more like it’s own app rather than a tiktok clone will fix that. Otherwise, I’m excited to see how the app grows.

Clapper is Home But Needs Some Fixing

I love clapper. Been there for over 2 years, met so many awesome people. However… they are hyper focused on new updates and adding new features but seem no so much focused on fixing the issues we already deal with. For example, the app crashed twice last months, people’s shop orders are being cancelled for no reason, clapper refuses to ban nudity even tho it’s right in the guidelines. They in fact have several VERIFIED NSFW creators on the app, but ban smaller accounts for nudity when it wasn’t even happening. The app has SO much potential, it’s already amazing. But fixes need to be prioritized. Maybe beef up your servers aswell. Update* - I WOULD email that support if they ever responded. They stopped answering me almost a year ago. That email is useless. Every creator on the app I’ve spoken to says the same.

No Free Speech Here...Only Censorship!

I joined this app because I love the fact that there was free speech. My posts were basically of other individuals from Clapper or from the other site where I always removed their name from the video when I placed it on Clapper. That site was and is very censored, when it comes to Conservative speech. Over a week ago I went to go post something on Clapper and it prompted me to sign on, which I thought was weird. I tried to sign on and it said that there was something wrong with my account. I reached out to the Help desk and was told they would check. Next, I get a message from a Karlo stating that I should be back up within 24 hours and that I should remove videos that were misinformation. 😠 I waited 48 hours and still was not able to sign on. I emailed again and asked them to restore my account so I could remove my videos to a site that actually is for free speech. It’s going on two weeks and I have not received any response or my account restored. I had over 10 thousand followers, now that is all lost. I can say one thing about the other site, they at least inform you what they are doing and why they did it. Clapper just shutdown your page without any warning, and lie to you about it. If you want free speech, be careful what you post on this site. Otherwise, I suggest you seek other sites that actually promotes free speech.

Glitchy and ripped content

The app is riddled with glitches and the content is garbage ripped from other sites. Their mantra “freedom of speech” is equally as glitchy, as they appear to use the phrase to lure people in, then apply a social justice type of oversight panel to declare what’s acceptable...better hope ideological views align. Finally, the effects and other features/sound libraries are very limited. I have no issue with a new startup app trying to garner attention and gain users, but their tactics are pretty sketchy and what is allowed to happen is questionable (it’s insulting to original content creators), there are so many stolen videos from other similar sites in particular TikTok, it’s like a cheap knockoff, with so many less features. Good luck to them, but they really need to find their own place and perfect what they do, rather than try to be a lesser version of similar sites, because the others have already perfected it.

Jungle disapproves!

While only being on Clapper for a short time, I have found the experience enjoyable and rewarding! I believe Clapper has a winning product in the field of social media. The uniqueness of this platform and the friendly and positive people you encounter is amazing. While it does have a glitch now and then, the staff are always ready to help. They treat you like your problem is important. Get this app . 4 years later, still glitched, I have not been able to post videos for a month. “Tech team “ is working diligently on my problem with no results. I am very disappointed with this issue and am thinking of getting rid of this app!

The top 40 thing for DND needs work

Came here from another app that was overly censoring broadcasters. The DND mode on this app needs a lot of work. I’ve only been on a few days but I’m about to delete it because there’s nothing more frustrating than tipping a broadcaster real money and then getting removed by the app when you don’t make the 40 person cut and have no way of knowing how much you have to gift to get back up there. The viewer list should show how much each person has gifted like other apps do. It feels very underhanded that they don’t show this. Almost like they want you to not know so you just start gifting randomly until you get higher on the list. Also the one time I did make it in to a DND some overzealous moderator kept saying keep gifting or you’re going to get kicked. Not coming back until things are better.

Great but needs work...

I will get right too it: Pros: it has a basic, easy to use operation system. It records 2 min of video. The videos are clean cut and easy to view. The profile page is basically similar to Tiktok. Cons: No lip sync feature (which is what truly draws most people to Tiktok). It has no zoom in or out or even tools to animate the video like Tiktok does (another key factor to people wanting Tiktok over other apps). You can’t edit your video to add interesting features or transitions. (Again, Tiktok feature). The biggest con is the music selection there is no search ability—you have to scroll through everything! There is NO RESTRICTIONS for people who want CLEAN content (no half naked kid twerking or whatever EW!). That is a MAJOR draw for Tiktok because it allows people to stay away from UNWANTED content. It also keeps FREEZING and the downloads take forever! I have fast internet/cell service but the downloads take forever! Otherwise this app is a great app... for BASIC recording. When it includes all the above it will worth the download! Just fix the app up and refine it more and you’ve got a great app!!

I love this everyone I’ve meet is awesome

This is truly a great app everyone I’ve meet so far in the 4 days that I’ve been here is just amazing sweet loving ppl. When you come here you not only gain friends but you also gain a family. Thank you Clapper for making such an awesome app making it possible for ppl all across the world to be able to come together and make true friends and family. I haven’t been able to do my own live or radio yet lol cause I’m to busy going into my family radio hanging out I just love can’t help it. I promise there are other ppl on here that feels exactly the way I do. I know this cause they have told me they feel the same way. Like I said thanks Clapper for everything yall rock❤️❤️❤️❤️

Awesome App

This app is so easy to use. Love the features and the ability to link up all my social media accounts. The developers and designers have done an extraordinary job with this one. I now use it daily! The developers and staff actually come into lives to see how the hosts and users are enjoying it, or too see what recommendations they have for the team. Up until now I have never seen a team actually taking the hands on approach that they are. Thank you guys so much for giving us an amazing place to come together. I personally can not wait to see what other features you guys come up with. Keep up the awesome work.

Could be more fun..

Don’t get me wrong this is a decent app, I just feel like the quality is very low. I have the iPhone 13 pro max and the quality of the videos and the app itself aren’t the best. There’s no sound options which bothers me, and very very little editing options. And then I’m experiencing where when I try to upload a video it won’t upload if I click out of the app real quick. I just, I don’t know. I’ll still use the app but not as much. It’s also so hard to get noticed or likes on the app and the comments I get seem like spam comments or bot comments. Like when I posted how my pup passes away I got weird comments on a song and there was no song even in there. I feel like this app would blow up more if there was less glitches and way more options for editing videos. And even filters, and fun things too. It’s just kind of boring.

looking for freedom of speech

Growing app still has bugs to work out. Features are limited yet easy to maneuver. I see there is censorship here too as I have experienced violation of videos inaccurately claiming “conspiracy theory” when I provide a video of a piece of technology that is “patented” and “documented” as in existence. This is aggravating when I know it’s. it is not a violation but maybe the person they hired to view the videos has little knowledge or possibly unable to decipher between facts and theory. We have to dispute the violations that clearly were not in violation. The persons viewing videos should be non-bias person with the abilities to understand when a video of displaying new technology electronic device with a verifiable patent number, it cannot possibly be “conspiracy theory” yet an electronic device with a patent number. SHAKE MY HEAD. As a creator I want the freedom of speech without censorship. This is why I came to clapper. I expect to be respectful, truthful, worship God without hindrance and to have my constitutional rights valued rather than squashed. This is why my friends and I came to clapper.

I WILL SAY …….

I will say, Clapper is one of a kind. It’s the only site/platform out there that has everything. I love it here; But there is one flaw : terrible glitches ! The glitches & bugs are real bad ! But, BUT I will NOT turn away from it cause I have gained a family of ppl I look forward to seeing every day ! This is the ONLY platform that has lives, chat groups, & radios. It’s UNIQUE - ONE OF ITS KIND. I fell in love with Clapper. Yes it does have its share of drama, but what platform doesn’t ! At this point, the glitches out weigh the drama, & the glitches ARE causing the drama. It’s still a great platform to meet new ppl, enjoy conversations, & watch videos. I still recommend this platform to any ADULT.

Crazy Clapper Terms of Service (TOS)Agreement

This app must have anyone creating random software codes for it! I believe because of this it will never be a mainstream app. I was on a LIVE creators channel he wanted to limit the number who were participating in his LIVE so he bumped/deleted extra people off of his live. I was one of them. I had no problem with that. I could see myself doing the same thing if I was LIVE. The problem I had was with Clappers backwards TOS agreement. Clapper said, “If someone bumps you off a LIVE 7 times, you will be banned for 7 days!” I was like that’s ultra-stupid! Why, would a LIVE app have such a draconian approach? However, when I think about the people who use the app, I can see how it’s users would question this kind of TOS Language. Clapper will have a lot to immensely change if it wants to attract millions to billions of new users!

Could be better

It’s a really good app platform and simple to use. Very similar to TikTok. Wish it would let us delete our notifications once we’re done with them and let’s us adjust the settings on what content we don’t wish to see so the FYP doesn’t just show repetitive subject content. Also a Pro level and maybe monetization offer would be great. In other words, another version of TikTok! 👍🏻And for those complaining about the political content, you clearly didn’t read the prior reviews and info on what this app was truly intended for. With new folks joining the app, comes different content, so in the mean time, just keep scrolling, just keep scrolling...

Too small

I found this app as an alternative to TikTok that doesn’t ban you weekly. I hope to post here alongside TikTok, but it just doesn’t have a user base. Most of the videos on the FYP have less than 500 likes. I think the most liked video was the introductory one at 10k. My 2nd video on TikTok got 250K views overnight. Currently sitting just under 900K and 61K likes. I think they could do some advertising and change that, but they haven’t. It’s got potential but they haven’t used it. Also the TikTok FYP has a +1 against this. On TikTok, the FYP is 5% viral videos that you usually enjoy, 5% “starter” videos that were recently posted to see how big they get, and 90% random videos in your most liked categories. On Clapper FYP, it seems like 100% starter videos. Very few of them have been enjoyable. The 2 most recent videos were a guy pouring alcohol in a glass and some lady talking about her dog that passed a few years ago. Who wants to watch that? Not me. So if I want to watch videos, 9/10 times I end up on TikTok. Not to mention many huge categories on TikTok aren’t even here. Auto? Gaming? Edits? Barely even exists

Clapper social media best one to be using

I’ve been on Clapper now for close to two months I’ve met some amazing people these people have helped me in more ways than I’ll ever remember or no!They have meetings couple times a week for the application telling us that they will fix it soon and the crowds get smaller and smaller Each week I’m hoping that this is a sign that most of the glitches are fixed if not it’ll roll into December which I was hoping we could call December was clappers glitch free month bless you all happy holidays and all the best in the new year to come thank you George K

Very nice alternative to tiktok

Tiktok has a CGV reporting system that has been weaponized. Clapper has a different system. It’s harder to get shutdown just bc someone disagrees with you. The app is only a year old and needs work. It’s not as advanced as tiktok. However, if they can grow and keep their reporting system in such a way that it won’t be weaponized and frivolous, this place will surpass them. It’s 17 and up. That’s a plus for me as well. The radio feature is great. The groups feature is nice too. Both of those allow you to get to know others with similar interests. The disruption and trolling isn’t as bad as Facebook and tiktok.

No customer service

I was double charged by clapper multiple times for their clapper “ coins “. Apple refunded the mistake, but clapper then issued my account to a negative balance of which I had to repay to buy more coins. I can’t close my account with clapper until my negative balance is paid. I wrote clapper customer service, showing them proof of the double charges and was told they would look into it and get back to me. I’ve never heard back from them. That was two months ago. Even after I wrote them again. I’m sure I am not the only person that has been cheated by them. Watch your bank account. They won’t run there business honestly. I’ve emailed Clapper several times and have gotten the same automated response. “ We will look into that.” Still nothing has been done.

I love Clapper

I’m very happy with clapper! Everything about it! Love the radio capabilities, love the people! Town hall is the best thing ever! there are a few things they are still working on like blue screen stitch and duet video capabilities, and hoping they’ll add a search engine for the songs, because there are lots of songs that I like but can’t find easily. I’m sure once they establish these, then they’ll blow every other app out of the water. Clapper is a very welcoming place and it’s filled with genuine staff and people. Can’t wait to be part of this amazing and well thought out world.

Better Than I Thought

Application wise it’s alright. I haven’t uploaded yet so I haven’t experienced the problems others talk about like sound & video not syncing. The functions are fairly easy to navigate and it’s easy to scroll through content. The roomers of clapper users having strong political leanings had kept me away tbh but once I got on I haven’t found it to be any worse than other applications. It’s easy to just block or keep scrolling if something I don’t care for pops up. I’ve already found people I enjoy following. I hope more people take the plunge and try out Clapper.

Only one complaint

My only complaint about the app is that I can’t get rid of an “imaginary” notification from the clapper team. My inbox count always shows 2 more than I actually have and I can’t delete the clapper team message either. Please stop notifying me of this. Other than that I like it! I’ve gotten an amazing beginning growth in the 3 days I’ve been on the app! Way better than when I started tiktok back in 2020! In just 3 days I’ve gotten almost 100 followers! Absolutely wonderful since my account is to promote my small business and reach new customers! Thank you.

Passable App

I’ve been using clapper for about four days now, giving it a try in preparation for a possible TT ban. So far Clapper does most of what I need it to do, though it does feel slightly more clunky than TT—which in and of itself has some interface drawbacks. I’m a little put off by lack of editing options, as well as the feeling that developers are trying to drive users into creating specific types of content. I.e. Their message, “We want you to be yourself. Don’t try to be an entertainer.” But I’m not really much of a creator. My concern is for my friends that are creators. All in all, if there’s a TT ban, I’ll probably move over to Clapper and won’t hate it.

CLAPPER is a rising star

I love that on CLAPPER you can be yourself and you don’t have to fear being ‘banned’ for who knows what like on that OTHER app. It’s pretty easy to use; my only issues are the sound when I record is horrible on playback and despite my best efforts, what I record, and see during recording, is NOT what winds up in my final video. It always seems like either the top or bottom is cut off. Also, when I watch other people’s videos if they have text on the screen it is often cut off. Probably due to the same issue I mentioned above. So CLAPPER, if your team can fix these two issues I have encountered I’ll gladly change to a five star rating. GOOOOO CLAPPER!

Engagement is Good But “For You” Feed is… Bad

I hate to write negative reviews, I actually think this app has a lot of potential if the developers can just rein in the hateful right-wing content and generally improve the content quality of the For You feed. I would love to be able to block out the transphobic, misogynist and racist videos (not to mention the really bad sketch comedy) but it seems the more I click “👎🏼”, the more it gives me. It does not make me want to continue using the app. I would love to tailor my feed to feature art, science, history, progressive ideas, etc but I haven’t found a way to do that. On the plus side I’ve posted 3 videos so far and engagement and new following has been decent.
