¡ Best insurance EVER!
To be truly honest I never thought I was gonna get coverage for my/our car with my fiancée. We were having lots of trouble finding a good and affordable Insurance. All of those big very well know Insurance Companies didn’t help much. Our quote were extremely high do to the fact that my fiancée is 19 years old and barely got her license last year. She really insisted me that she wanted to be involved in everything which was something that I really didn’t mind about. She wanted to be added in the insurance policy and that was causing us big time problems to the point where I kinda lost hope on insuring our car. I’m 21 years old and also got my license last year(2019) so that played a big factor in the coverage we wanted as well. When I found out about Clearcover and started doing a quote online, I couldn’t believe, I was afraid because I got my hope extremely up when I saw the price after I added my fiancée as a driver. I had to call to make sure the prices were right but when Laura , I believe is her name told me that that was the actual price I almost fainted but I didn’t, I got soooo happy and thank God after it because Clearcover was able to give us an affordable price on our coverage and I loved the professionalisms they have at the moment they talk and the patience they have to explain everything. I truly recommend Clearcover to all my people, it’s a legit team! Thanks Clearcover!

No hidden fees?? And EASY to navigate!
I switched to Clearcover from progressive because they would charge me an extra $500/every six months and I would never know why... even after asking customer service. My rate rose 2x with progressive after my dissolution despite a good record and nearing 25. I was really worried I wouldn’t be able to keep my car especially without work during the pandemic. And then I found Clearcover! I was a little hesitant at first because it seemed too good to be true. But I’ve had an absolutely excellent experience. I haven’t filed a claim yet but my rate has actually lowered every 6 months (and I am told why each time!) and I haven’t experienced that with any other company. No hidden fees every 6 months. Perfect and affordable. The app has everything I need and I can have a card printed out for free too. Thank you Clearcover!!

A great product ended in a sad way
I have enjoyed using Clearcover for 4 years. The rate is competitive, app is well designed, and the support has been great. All is good until one day I received a letter to provide more information. I filled out the form and returned it the same day, and promptly received their notice of none renewal. I asked them what’s the reason and they said I left one section of the form empty (drivers of the car). I clarified that I misunderstood what that section mean (I thought it means are there any additional drivers other than the drivers who are already listed on the policy), and ask if they can fix it. They said no they can’t fix it once the form was filled out. I feel sad about the lack of clarity in their communication (why are you canceling my policy just because I didn’t re-write the same information you already have), and inflexibility of how they handle a silly misunderstanding like this. They just “encourage me to find another policy from another company”. Sure, I know there are companies out there who handle situations like this in a less ridiculous way.

Best prices ever!
I absolutely love this insurance! I just purchased it today, and I got way better coverage with them than my previous insurance company progressive! I’m also saving $100 a month with this company as well! I was paying $288 a month with progressive and now I’m paying $188! I’ve never been in a wreck and I’ve never gotten a speeding ticket, plus the sport car I have covered I drive maybe 4 times a month because I have a company car. I’m grateful that this company values safe driving more than other companies, and I feel like they did give me a good rate. I’m only 20 years old and I’d highly recommend anyone close to my age to get a quote with them and see what you can save!

Screen is frozen
I was updating my payment information and went well and then the next screen was the experience was a positive or negative, and pressed positive and then the whole program just stuck. could not do anything for 15 minutes or more. Had to turn off my phone and tried one more time to reload Clearcover - finally it worked. I made my payment! And another thing, it takes very long time to find out that my payment did not go through ( via email 3 months later) it was not my fault. Some representative from Clearcover could have called me and said hey Sir, your payment did not go through in this way I could have responded much faster than I am doing three months later. Hopefully no penalty Otherwise, I am ok with the company that was recommended by libretti mutual insurance.

Very disappointed, will never use again
I switched to clearcover 6 months ago and was very satisfied with my coverage. Until the renewal came. My policy was cancelled and I never received an email, text, call, etc. I had no idea my insurance had lapsed. If I hadn’t looked at the app specifically I wouldn’t have figured it out until the following month. Because of this lapse in insurance Clearcover claims they can cover me but I must pay 3,500 upfront instead of monthly. Which I don’t have. Now I’m looking for other insurance providers and can find NOTHING in my price range because my insurance lapsed and they want the full payment up front as well. I am disgusted by this situation. If I had known there was an issue, it would have been resolved immediately. But I never received communication regarding the bank sending back my last payment. The people I spoke to were very nice but offered no solutions. Never again.

Very Sketchy, They Will Give You The Silent Treatment
So I got a policy with them for 6 months with a decent deductible and coverage. Paid up front for the 6 months and thought I was good. Then on the 19 of December a deer ran out in the road while I was on the interstate and caused significant damage to the side of my car. Filed a claim almost immediately with Clearcover to try and get it fixed and nothing. For an ENTIRE WEEK, I heard nothing from them. I then got ONE email after a week and it was to set up a time to give a statement. Literally have not heard anything from the since and I have left messages and emails everyday. It has been three weeks now and I have heard NOTHING from them. Looks like I’m going to have to file a bad faith lawsuit against them and try to get them to do what I was promised when I paid and signed a policy with them. You can’t trust anybody these days, but especially DO NOT TRUST Clearcover.

Responsive, Friendly, No Hassle, Best Price
Best insurance company I’ve ever dealt with. Everything is through the crazy-simple to use app. The customer service chat is actually an instant chat with a real person. should you need to actually talk with someone, you get that too. BUT, and get ready for this... There wasn’t more than a couple minutes of wait and they don’t source their calls to overseas phone banks. That’s right people. One of the last companies that, when you need to, a red blooded American is eagerly waiting to help you in minutes. And help they shall. Outstanding roadside assistance partnership with another company. But they even check back in to make sure everything i is going swimmingly. ANNNNNDD, they beat all the big companies I was quoted from by a notable percentage. Get a quote and see for yourself. Think that number is Too good to be true? Trust me when I say: ‘tis not. Props and thanks to those working in this company. You guys are on the right track. I recommend Clearcover to anyone who will listen.

Claim still in progress for over 3 1/2 months with no resolution.
It’s sad that my claim has been filed since June 10, 2022. I didn’t get a response until I actually texted a service agent that texted me about my payment is due. I’m up to date with my monthly, now and at that time, to still not have an insurance adjuster to come out and look at my vehicle, I sent thousands of pictures of the incident to my vehicle. One adjuster was on my claim, she fired/layed off/quit, whatever, but I wasn’t even contacted about my claim and a new agent was handling my claim. I had to call the old agent to find out I had a new agent. Fix my car, and I will tell everybody that y’all are one of the worst insurance companies possible. If my car is not fixed/compensated, you will here from my lawyer. I was trying to let you guys do right on your own, but I see how it’s always needs to be done.

Worst claim process. Stuck in Review for 30 days.
My car was in an accident on 07/17, full coverage insurance with Clearcover. Claim filed on 07/18. As of 08/16 my claim is still in Review stage - Clearcover still decides whether they will pay or not. I've been without a car for a month, Clearcover towed it to their lot and keeps it there. I prepaid in full a 6 months policy. Claims are handled by Littleton Group, which refuse to provide any timeline or deadline on when the Review stage will be completed. For last 9 days all calls to adjustor are routed to voicemail, no call back. Calling Clearcover support doesn't help, they just route you to Littleton Group adjustor. DO NOT buy insurance here. I have a very inexpensive car, less than $10k market value. So if they made my claim experience this difficult, you can imagine how much runaround you will get if you'll insure a more valuable vehicle with them.

Auto insurance
If you’re shopping for insurance or even if you’re not and high insurance rates you need to check these guy out. The rates will blow you away. So will the customer service. Ya just wanna jump thru the phone and kiss the person on the other end of the line. Can’t beat it anywhere. You see advertisements claiming $39 a month then get through the website to find out their quotes aren’t that much different then what you already pay? These guys are for real.

Getting less impressed
Update: I called my agent to add a vehicle. They said I have to go through Clear Cover to add a vehicle. I called Clear Cover and waited on hold for a while until it kicked me off to a voicemail. I left a voicemail and haven’t heard from them for two days, so in the meantime I am driving without insurance. I’m about to switch companies. I wish the app gave me the ability to add and delete vehicles. It’s easier for me to add new vehicle coverage from an app than to call an agent and hope they have the time to sit on the phone with me as we go back and forth with information. If I want to delete a vehicle because it sold or something, it would be convenient canceling coverage from the app. Make this happen and I would gladly change to 5 stars.

Terrible communication and recommendations
I’m a student, and loved Clearcover as a simple and easy way to insure my vehicle. The app, rate, and service was great. However, when I went to sell my car for an extended period, I was recommended to cancel my policy in order to have it reinstated later when I purchased a new car. Many months later, when I finally did purchase a new car, I immediately came back to Clearcover. But after trying through the app, phone calls, and chats with agents, and despite claims to reinstate or rewrite their policies, none would even offer a quote saying that the “policy wouldn’t meet State minimums”, even when my policy before had been more than adequate. Horrible communication and misinformation, I can’t imagine what it would be like to file a claim.

Needs a couple things
So far everything works well. The option to pay manually instead of automatically each month is definitely needed, but that doesn’t really reflect on this this app, Clearcover just needs to give customers this option. Request: Can you please add the ability to add our ID card to the wallet so we can quickly access it from the lock screen instead of just handing police officers our unlocked phones? Update: it’s been years and there is still no wallet support. Why gimp the app of such a simple feature???

Unprofessional
Honestly one of the most unprofessional experience I’ve had with any insurance company. You have a claims adjuster who accuses you of wrong doing and then claims everything is done. Only to find out there’s more pending. I spoke to a rep(Sam) to try and get a new adjuster and was told that was okay. Sam(phone representative ) seemed to be the only professional working at Clearcover and tried to help. I called back the next day and spoke to a different rep (Jillian) who said that wasn’t possible. Jillian was the second most unhelpful person I dealt with. She stated she would help but kept me on hold for some time. I hung up and called back and Jillian (she was the only rep working today I guess lol) kept me on hold again. Truly unprofessional. I guess you get what you pay for

Clearcover is great but with few improvements can be better
After using the app for a few years it has been great to have but calling in to change somthing on your account that could easily be done if I had the option to on the app is a much better option if I had the option. The call times and wait times could be reduced significantly if you had the option to do that and then I wouldn’t have to wait 30 min for a 2 min change like others what to do including me. But overall it’s a good company and provider to use but it just needs basic tune ups to be better

Worst experience I’ve ever had
If I could give it zero stars I would! I had my catalytic converter stolen 3 weeks ago. I filed a claim that day and they haven’t done anything! I’ve sent multiple emails and called multiple times, even sent text messages because that’s the only way they contact me, NO RESPONSE! I should have continued to pay $400 a month bc like they say “YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!) there is a reason it’s so cheap! I’ve also been without a vehicle this entire time! Not sure why my policy excluded rental car coverage but it just happen to of come up that way! I told my claims adjuster I was a single mom with 3 kids and no transportation and now it’s almost been a month? With no response! Makes me sick

Unbeatable Rates, Incredible Customer Service
I am honestly really surprised to see that Clearcover is not the #1 insurance app on App Store. I am saving over $250 a month on car insurance because of this app. I have tried multiple other insurance companies before this and none of them were as good as Clearcover, not even close. Their customer service is amazing and they are very helpful and nice. I would certainly recommend this app to anyone who’s looking for auto insurance.

Amazing!
Amazing! My car was unfortunately hit by a hit and run. Clearcover was a breeze with my claim. I used the app to file my claim, someone called me and processed my claim within 48 hours! I didn’t have to do anything, the claims adjuster took care of everything. Even the manager at my body shop was surprised they didn’t have to send an adjuster out and approved the supplement quote. I’m happy with this insurance beyond words. Thanks Clearcover!

Needs Work!
UPDATE: It’s 2018 why they don’t have the option in the app to update your CC or Debt card information is beyond me. They really need to add this feature as they’re not 24hrs and only open Mon-Friday it’s very inconvenient when it’s Friday or Saturday night and you can’t update your information because they don’t have phone support and have to wait until Monday. Please fix this! Awesome insurance company everything is done in the app runs smooth haven’t had to do a claim yet so hopefully if that ever happens it goes well. My rate is way lower then I thought it would be. I went through cover and they placed me with this insurance company and I couldn’t be happier.

Great but your rates will go UP
Smooth quoting process, clean app and UI, amazing prices that no other carrier beat. I have an immaculate driving record with no moving violations or accidents. Upon each annual renewal, my premium has gone up 30% for a total of approx. 60%+ increase in price. The pretty looks and good pricing only go so far, as the true test of insurance is premium increases and claim experience. Sorry guys, I’m out! Prices are up all over the place and the last thing people need is their car insurance rates going up. No wonder so many are driving uninsured!

I’d do no stars
I’ve tried this place previously and gave up because it wasn’t working. Tried again multiple times over the last few months and it STILL doesn’t work. I’ve tried the app and online and it continues to say there’s a maintenance problem so I can’t even begin to get a quote. Trying to sign up is a joke. It says it’s sent an email and I’ve never gotten one, even though I’ve had them send the email more than a dozen times. This just shows me that even if I get a quote I’d be having serious problems getting my account to work afterwards.

Love Clearcover
I’m so glad I found Clearcover! I have the most coverage for the most affordable price I’ve been able to find. They even mailed me the cutest gift box which no insurance has done before! The app is so user friendly! I definitely recommend!!! I haven’t had to file a claim yet and hopefully won’t have to.

Credit card information on file
Unable to see the details of credit card information on file so I was unable to know if the information was up to date or not. The only option was to enter current information possibly again to make sure everything was up to date. Thus it would be unnecessary to do that if I could check and see it. Kycatpaul

Can’t cancel in app
App looks clean but I have two issues. First, they advertise in their app page that you can chat with an agent. What they mean is you click a link in the app and it opens your browser.... misleading. Second, you cannot simply cancel your plan yourself. You need to “speak with an agent”. I don’t know if they have to do this or if they are intentionally making it more difficult. Reminds me of ISPs and other services that make it annoyingly difficult to stop services. Once I canceled I did not even receive an email confirmation.

Great For Poor College Student
With Clearcover I could get twice the coverage for the same amount I was paying with Geico, but even better I could get minimal coverage for very cheap. Great customer service and I definitely will keep Clearcover in mind in the future. Highly recommend!

Timely
Took 6 weeks for company to tell me claim denied. Was called by adjuster on a Tuesday said I would have an answer by Thursday and if it was Friday she was out but someone else would call. Did not hear back from her for another 11 days then called at 730pm. Was told I would get another number by text that night. Waited an hour sent email and did not get text until 615 AM!!! The following day. It should not have taken 6 weeks to get an answer and text messages should not be at 615 in the morning!

I was hoping I found a actual good provider
At least one driver you provided does not meet our underwriting criteria, so we are unable to provide a quote. Is what i was told after filing out a quote. I am 21 and am trying to get my car back in working condition but to even get it to a shop without it being impounded i need insurance. I go and try this company just to find another never ending cycle of disappointment in my life. I just don’t have no clue what i can do

Rate jump
I have enjoyed the ease of doing business with ClearCover but the rate hike the last 6 months was outrageous. I realize you may have been rating incorrectly 6 months ago but I feel like a good business would raise someone’s rates slower to make up for the error. Especially a policy holder with a clear driving history.

I’ve been with clearcover for 2 years never late on a payment and I get a email today saying they can’t go on with my renewal because I no longer follow there guidelines I asked customer service if there was something they can tell me and they said there policy privacy has changed and there is nothing they can do about it they gave me 30 days to find a new insurance company well clearcover I hope y’all miss my money y’all was getting every month EARLY at that goodbye !!!

Too many issues
The app is horrible to use!! When you try to submit information and scroll up Or down the page will go blank and you have to close the app and go back in. It literally took me 20 tries to enter a new debit card information then it asked for a thumb up or thumb down and again froze tye screen. Calling in to make a payment is an even longer process !! I was on hold for 20 minutes before hanging up !! FIX THE APP!!

Thought Out App
The Clearcover app is FANTASTIC. The lay out is modern and easy to see and get to everything. I’ve had a lot of insurance companies because I’m always looking for the best price at the time, that being said, this is the best insurance app hands down.

Worst insurance company!
They will expect your payment on time, but once you make a claim for damages that need to be covered they will drag their feet, not contact You and leave you hanging. My car has been sitting for almost 2 weeks now and I made a claim to them almost 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything nor received anything. They are cheap and will not prioritize your needs . 1 star is all this insurance company deserves.

Great Rates
They have some really good care insurance rates. Just wish they carried or allowed ride share insurance. Haven’t had to use them thankfully but this is my third term with clear cover. I haven’t payed more than 120 a month. Although I wish it was cheaper by $25 more dollars a month I can’t complain too much as I carry full coverage.

Horrible customer service
This company has by far the worst claims procedure that i’ve ever had to deal with. we filed a claim early February and today’s date is July 22 and have not had our car resolved. we are on our third agent who is supposedly helping us but has done nothing. Beware when shopping for insurance you get what you pay for and this company is garbage.

They are liars
They will lie to you multiple times. Because of that, they have messed up my insurance plan. Also, I have over 10 years driving experience with 0 accidents and 0 citations or anything. What do they do? They increase my policy price every time I renew by 20-40 dollars!! Why??? Is this is how you treat good drivers? Greedy company full of liars. Stay away. Literally anywhere else would be better.

the worst insurance!
if i could give this company 0 stars i would! yes the prices are affordable but the service is terrible. i made a claim a whole week ago and there’s barely been any progress. on top of which my car has been non drivable so you would think they would try to get me back on the road as soon as possible but i am still without transportation and have to jump through hoops just to get a rental. i can’t even work. do not sign with this insurance company. i will be switching once my claim is finally processed. they won’t get any more of my money after this stressful process. oh and they don’t answer or respond in a timely matter!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Canceled our policy because we were busy and didn't respond to an email within the 15 days time period, that was NOWHERE in the email. Even though we provided them with the requested information before the cancelation date, they refused to reinstate our still active policy. Plus, they never reimbursed us for our rental car while ours was getting fixed.
