Let’s face it you’re not going to come in this app as a guess and win a tournament. I have been beat on the river so many times I’m scared to go near it. Members pay a lot of cash to play on this site. So they will cater to their paying members. Everytime I’m in a all in situation, I have lost on the river with the only card that could beat me. I don’t even have to see the last card I can just leave the table I know the results. But hey it’s not for money so I take it as entertainment.
I watch WPT tours all the time, and this app is so outdated and the tournaments are impossible. Unless you wanna pull out your laptop and wait around for ever to get into anything, and then be randomly booted out for no reason. It’s chaotic and poorly put together. All other annoying ads and commercials between watching WPT makes you think you can somehow get in on tournaments but it’s rigged, full of malfunctions, and when I was actually leading a table, I randomly got booted out with no explanation and no way for me to dispute are re-enter. I’d rather play free apps, or walk into a casino tourney then waste time waiting and having confusing interactions every time I log on.
I got a mailer the other day inviting me to come back. They want to give me a free month of Diamond membership. Reminded me how difficult it was to figure out how to cancel in the first place. Always a sign that the people behind the app aren't exactly the most ethical operators when they feel entitled to "trap" their members in a recurring subscription. But, since they made the effort, I thought I'd go look at the site again. I wondered if perhaps they had overhauled the old piece of crap. Does not appear so. There are plenty of other reviews detailing all the ways this app is ludicrously bad, so I don't need to repeat them. Seems WPT is happy keeping it that way.
I downloaded and deleted this app the same day. Where to begin. I have used several play-money poker apps. They always start you with a decent amount of chips so you can immediately jump into a game. But this app starts you with a measly “bonus” of 500 chips. And i think you get that every 2 hours (I didn’t stick around for another 2 hours to find out). That 500 isn’t enough to really play a table. You join the table with an already extreme short stack, and everyone pushes you around. But you CAN get chips…by purchasing them. No thanks. There are other apps that start you with a decent chip stack...for free. Now if you want to become an instant “millionaire/billionaire” on those other apps, they will sell you chips. But they at least start you off with a big enough chip count that you can actually play some tables first. Also, WPT poker is a bare bones, boring setup. No imagination went into designing this app.
I’ve had different poker games. I’m a somewhat good player and just wanted something to pass the time. This is the absolute worst app. Astronomical odds being met all the time. I played a lot where four people had pocket pairs while it can happen it’s very very rare. I saw three people hit sets. Set over set over set. It’s just not happening. Very very very rare. This game is horrible and gives world poker your a bad name. They need to fix this. If I could give negative stars I would. Maybe the star would be like an odd amoeba shape that was puke green.
Just downloaded this app. I’m glad they created this that way you don’t have to login in on their website. Seems pretty seamless to navigate and is bug free as far as I can tell. Hoping more features are added soon but I’ll give it a shot for now!
I spent lots of time and money on a competition poker app and I thought they were crooked. Bad beats were the norm. Flushes all over the place… no where near reality! Then I played this app because I watch the show all the time - played a tournament and the first three hands I lost to a player filling their hand on the river. Three in a row. I challenge any legitimate reality poker with real shuffled cards seeing THAT happen. You’re just like all the rest! I’m not a computer programmer but how difficult can it be to randomize 52 cards!!

Great place to learn, practice and win at playing poker. ClubWPT is a great place to meet like minded people and they have a discord server that you can join and meet other poker players. Great group of people to hangout and learn about different strategies while on discord or watching the Streams.
Love playing in tourneys with my friends. Nothing better than railing them when they’re doing well and making that final table. I always have a blast improving my skills and trying to win that big package!
Watch the card trends in tournaments. You can just about know when 3 of a kind is coming, when with 4 players left someone is losing to a straight on the river, too often a FH is beaten by 4 of a kind, pocket pairs to 3 and sometimes 4 players. Hilariously set to algorithms, not random. The only variable are the bet amounts from the players.
This is a great fun app to hone in on your poker skills! I also play on Clubwpt VIP and Diamond member and win back my monthly subscription fee and then some every month. There is ALWAYS a tournament or game to play!
So many times I got timed out in the middle of a hand. Don’t tell me that my internet connection is the culprit; I have the best internet package, all my tvs, ipad, ipone apps work flawlessly except this shameful wpt app. Strangely the drop of connection happens when I have very good hand say AA, KK, JJ then I flop a set and then bam. It happened so many times that I can’t call it a coincidence.
Like most online poker sites, Club WPT is a garbage version of poker. Terrible beats on every other hand. Players shove all-in with the worst starting hands and then catch cards to win the hand. Absolutely ridiculous. I would have given zero stars, but that wasn’t possible.
Download and used my existing ClubWPT membership to login. Much to my disappointment, while it does login, it does not bring up my paid membership?! Other reviews stated that they can play on their membership, NOT TRUE! What a waste!
This started out good but then steadily loses credibility. I’ve never seen so many good hands getting beat on the river. Not just mine but watching other players also. It didn’t cost me anything, but it’s still not right.
Totally ridiculous outcomes every other hand. Home of the one and two outer. Beyond seeing hands, ridiculous outcomes are too common. Seems as if someone is holding a mouse and picking the River card. Outcomes don’t seem remotely random.
When I play , I can here Mr Sexton narrating in my ear , and it is such blessing like a friendly uncle . My imagination helps but I call it great TV content 👍🏻🖖🏻✌🏻😎
One of the worst poker sites. If you don’t care play here. If you want to learn so you can play in real life don’t play here. Players beat the odds so often that you want to play bad cards. Bad site. Don’t waste any money here.
