Good when it works
I really like Cradlewise when it’s working, but there are just a couple frustrating things that come along with it. I like that I can log into my app and see that he’s in no danger or choking. But the things that are really frustrating with the crib is that every single time I have to connect to a new Wi-Fi the app glitches out and can’t connect. I have to contact IT every single time. It’s also frustrating that you can’t purchase a secondary monitor to walk around with. It’s only on your phone which drains my battery crazy quick when I want him on to just glance over. I also feel that there should be some kind of recording for at least 24 hours that we can save to our phone if we want to. there’s so many cute things that I have missed because it takes so long for me to use my phone to screen record and then that moment is missed. That would create so many memories. It also would be very helpful to have a way where you can speak to your baby through the crib just like it sound. Overall, I do really love the crib and it gives me so much peace of mind to constantly be able to watch him if I want to just those little details would make it extraordinary.

***Update*** All is good so far. Ended up getting on a call with tech team. To CW- thank you for the assistance. Apparently the “pairing issue” was something that needed to be resolved by a Live Technician only. Firmware needed an update.. which should come with the instruction manual as a slip, prefacing, “To best assist your growing family into a seamless experience, please select an appointment slot on our website for a Live Technician to complete wireless pairing setup.” ******* HOLY. Smokes. I am literally in awe of how much this has made me cry trying to pair the crib to the WiFi- app- whatever. My honey works is in a senior position in Tech industry, and when I tell you he thinks this company is run by a bunch of cheap-outsourced labor… he’s not wrong. I, however, am a teacher, and have the utmost patience in the world… until today with this product. We re-read the directions, rebooted, troubleshooted, spoke with “Tech Support”— the automated 24/7 one, and spent so many hours attempting to get our CW “paired”. It is such a let down. An EXTREME let down. Our baby is coming in early, in a few days to be exact, and I feel completely blindsided by this company’s promise. I requested an immediate refund and initiated return asap. To the CW company- Hire a proper tech team to get your product in working order please before you ruin another pregnant person’s milestone into motherhood.

Product development needed
We are really happy with the cradle itself and the app as a relief, friendly user interface. There are two major issues, though that seem to be pretty obvious and could’ve been included in the original development of this app: 1. The AI detection evaluating if our baby is asleep or not is completely broken. With eyes wide open, the software thinks our baby is asleep, conversely, when our baby hasn’t stirred for 20 minutes or so the app thinks that he is awake and institutes, soothing mechanisms. 2. The lack of soothing audio tracks seems like glaring oversight from the original product development. It’s great of course to have simple options that have been tried and tested, but there are so many instances where most that want a simple “shhhhh” sound, but there is no way to play this from the crib directly. This seems like an easy fix but one they should really think about how their product is used. adding the shush sound as a default option makes a lot of sense, and it would be great if customers could import their own music or sounds to edit within the app.

Wonderful crib, but app needs work
We looooove our Cradlewise. We purchased it a little late in the game, when our son was 7 months old. He went through the 6 month sleep regression phase and we all suffered until we got the Cradlewise. It took a little over a week for him to adjust to no longer cosleeping with us, but after that, we’re all waking up refreshed. Our son has a significantly better sleep routine because of the Cradlewise. I thought it was a gimmick, but it definitely isn’t! Our little one will still wake up occasionally wanting us to rock him back to sleep, but Cradlewise does all of the heavy lifting for the most part — soothing him when he’s stirring at night, offering sleep sounds, and providing us with a camera (and sound!) to watch him when we’re in a different room. My only issue with Cradlewise is the efficiency of the app at times. There have been several times when I couldn’t turn on the sleeps sounds for some reason, and I have to unplug the bed, waiting for it to reboot. This would normally be fine expect when it’s nap time and your child has no patience to get to sleep.

The app has significantly improved!
The physical crib itself has always been great. The build quality is excellent, the combined features like both a crib and bassinet, that it is a smart crib/bassinet, baby monitor, noise machine, ambient temperature monitor, the longevity you can use the crib for, and the visual ascetics of the crib are all really amazing and impressive. But when we purchased the crib and started using the app in November 2023, I was rather disappointed.. the app was buggy, it didn’t give you much actual control over the crib (I couldn’t control the max bounce level), and the UI was very rough. I was pretty close the pulling the literal plug on the crib. That is until the app revamp in December 2023 came out. The updated version is amazing and seems like they started from scratch to address customer complaints. I’m trilled with the changes and love the app now! And it really has helped us get more sleep! I’ve seen multiple times where our kiddo starts fussing and waking herself up, but the crib is able to put her back asleep! That’s a huge win!!

Crib is too small and has connectivity issues all the time, but still good product
The crib is much smaller than a normal one, and so you can put in a softer or thicker mattress. My 3 month old rolls and is always up against the sides. But what’s more annoying. The thing has always had connection issues. About once a week the app doesn’t connect to the crib. How are you supposed to monitor your child if it doesn’t connect? Their customer service isn’t great. When they respond, they send like 20 text messages in a row instead of one long one. And it’s always the same thing. Power cycle the crib, and either restart the app or reinstall it.

Update!!! Always improving and impressed
UPDATE: Initially I was not very happy with the app as there were a lot of issues but the team has really brought their A game! Any time there is an issue I get a response so quickly! Even if it’s to have the tech team follow-up which usually the next day! It is still a new company so working out the kinks but I have to give them all the credit for their customer service. The crib is pretty awesome and I’m not sure what I do without it as a first time mom! PLEASE READ REVIEWS before buying this crib. The crib itself is nice but the app with all the features/control is horrible. I have to reach out numerous times per week due to issues with the app and every time they state IT is working on it. With each update they stated issues are resolved but in fact they get worse… unable to connect to monitor (therefore unable to see baby), can never tell when the baby is in/ out if the crib, always staying the baby is awake therefore the sleep schedule is completely off and useless..

Nothing but Frustration
My first complain of this app: the video quality is too disappointing …well I should say that’s a hardware issue but honestly the video resolution that you see through this app is just bad. Not comparable to any other baby monitoring device of any price tag. What a shame. My 5 month old baby was in the crib the entire time. Cradlewise was not able to get him to fall asleep, or sooth him when he was crying. Also when my baby rolled to his tummy, app would tell me my baby was not there, is that a joke? This App is definitely confusing. No user guide or instructions whatsoever. After a long waiting period we finally received the crib. We were so excited to try it out. However when we first set up the crib and connected with the app, we didn’t know where or how we could get started. So we just put out baby in to try. He cried out loud the moment we left him in there, then the crib started to bounce which just irritated him more. There were a few modes to select from but we don’t know how those work, no matter which one we chose just couldn’t calm down our little one. So frustrated.

App Needs Work
As others have already said, the crib is great but they really need to fix the app issues. The biggest UX frustration is the camera loading time, especially when you are often peaking at this in the middle of your sleep. You want to be able to quickly check the app to see if your baby is ok, but often it will take 10+ secs to load or just not load the video at all until you force close and the reopen the app. This makes a moment where the app could be comforting to a parent that is trying to get some rest into a moment of frustration that wakes you up. I figured this issue would be one of the first things they addressed with their regular app updates, but my child is almost one now and it still hasn’t been fixed. This makes me concerned it’s actually a hardware issue that can’t be fixed. It would also be helpful if you could change the auto crib bouncing depending on the time of day. When I first put my baby down, she moves a bit and the air bounce goes on and it sometimes wakes her up at this point in her rest so I wish I could turn it off before 10pm. But then the auto bounce feature is pretty amazing for our baby late at night and in the morning, so I don’t want to turn it off for those hours. Finally, you get so many baby notifications that you become numb to them other than right when you are putting them to sleep. The crib is great but the app leaves a lot to be desired

Love it but use a backup for monitoring
I wish we had started using the Cradlewise earlier since the bassinet is roomy and the video camera reliable. We did have an issue after using it for several months with the base making a clicking sound. Customer service promptly sent a new base and the item has worked perfectly since then. My biggest complaint is that I don’t rely on the built-in monitor to wake us overnight. Our room is far from our child so we have a nursery camera with its own monitor that only turns on when it detects noise or movement. The Cradlewise app phone alerts are not loud enough to wake us and I don’t like having the app running & illuminated while we’re trying to sleep. Despite this, I would recommend the Cradlewise to friends and family. Our baby has been a great sleeper.

Great but room for improvement
We love our cradlewise crib and have been decently impressed with the app. The company is transparent that they are newer and continuing to work thorough technical issues that arise. They are also open to feedback, which is wonderful. A few months ago I wrote in about a feature that I thought would be useful & my feedback was passed along to the product team and has since been implemented. They even emailed me with a video preview of the feature and asked my opinion before deploying. We do have a few technical issues from time to time- crib inaccurately sensing baby to be in the crib when she is not, app not loading, etc. but it doesn’t bother me too much, as I think there’s a margin of error to be expected with products like this. The app is intuitive and easy to use.

Major bug
Updating a former review: I had issues connecting my crib to wifi through the app, but unplugging it and waiting a few minutes solved this. App seems good so far - but will update my review when our baby comes in 3 weeks and we get to test more of the features UPDATE after using crib/bassinet for 1 week: Huge fan of the crib, baby seems to enjoy it. App can be glitchy but overall a fan. Sometimes video won’t load but closing and reopening the app seems to fix it. I love that you can rotate the camera view and pop out the video to do other things on your phone. I find myself using the sleep tracking feature a lot, however it’s frustrating that the infographic doesn’t include more time stamps. It would be very helpful to include time stamps for when baby was taken out of the crib as well as it’s a little hard to follow right now and annoying to have to click over the the notifications to interpret. Also nitpicky: It also bothers me that the shade of blue for awake below the graphic does not match the shade of blue within the actual sleep chart. I understand for accessibility a certain level of contrast is likely needed, but it would make sense to make the graphic portion lighter to match (:

Endangered Our Child
Our child is now one and recently contacted the Cradlewise customer care team regarding a solution to the fact that their camera only covers 75% of the crib / child view. The team took more than 48 hours to respond. Not only did they not have a solution, they responded by saying just place your child in the area the camera can view. Furthermore, they proactively decided to perform “maintenance” during their response when they deleted our Nanny, and the child’s mother’s access saying they were outdated users. It happened during naptime while our child was napping, turning alerts off on our 2 primary caregivers at home. Our child could have choked during that window of time. Stay away from this flawed product that has an ignorant customer service department and proactively & unprompted took it upon themselves to endanger our child. The right thing to do would be to enact a recall, provide refunds and pick up all of these cribs.

The crib - AMAZING! The app - needs A LOT of work
We love the crib! Very sleek design, its big and we love all the features that it offers. This is a review for the app only. Unfortunately it gets stuck on the loading screen way too often and we have to close the app, open it again and wait until it finally loads. Recently the sleep tracker is not working at all (for about a week now), it shows that our son has been sleeping pretty much all day. The video is also now 1-2 secs behind whats actually happening in the crib (if I give my son a pacifier in the crib and go back to my bed, I can still see my hand in the crib through the app) The temperature that the app displays is not accurate 90% of the time, however it is a new feature recently added via an update, so Its probably still getting worked on. Once the app is fixed, Cradlewise will truly be the beat crib out there!

Great idea, horrible orchestration
The app rarely ever works as it should. If you plan to get a Cradlewise, plan to have a separate monitoring system as well. The video hardly ever loads anymore, the crib constantly has to be reconnected to WiFi, and sometimes the app just doesn’t work at all. As far as the product, the bounce varies wildly (for example 30% one day is barely a bounce, the next day 30% is a very intense bounce). Sometimes it doesn’t bounce at all. But when the bounce does work, it is great!! The “smart features” never work properly. All in all, when the Cradlewise is having a good day, it’s the best purchase I’ve ever made. However, it has far too many downfalls to invest that amount of money. Yes, I’ve contacted support. I’ve emailed with them so many times over the last year. But the problems always return. So I’ve just accepted this is the product.

Cradlewise: A Lifesaver for Modern Parenting
Ignore the negative reviews on this. They all appear to be rooted in user error. The Cradlewise app and crib have been amazing for our baby care. We’ve had no issues with connectivity, and the dark mode color pattern was a minor adjustment. What really stood out was the stellar customer service. When the temperature sensor in bassinet mode was off, they guided us through several fixes until it was resolved. For those used to connected devices, Cradlewise is super easy to use. It might be a bit of a learning curve for others, but it’s definitely worth it. The app offers great features that make the crib incredibly functional, providing peace of mind and convenience.

Incredible! We’re all well rested.
This was the greatest single purchase we made as new parents! The crib mimics the bouncing we do when holding our son in our arms. When he stirs at night the crib automatically detects the motion and starts softly bouncing to soothe him. He goes right back to sleep. It’s amazing! We started him from birth and the bouncing feature helped him sleep longer and longer each week. Our son was sleeping 10-12 hours at night when he was 4 months old! We also love that the crib grows with him so we didn’t have to buy a new larger crib. Our son is now 9 months old and his great sleeping trend in his Cradlewise crib has continued. Highly recommend!!

App connects well on iOS but has a few kinks
Overall, I’m satisfied with the iOS app. A lot of things have been corrected over the course of the past few months. We like the new noise generator section that helps you create custom noise. However, the noise toggle is a bit too sensitive and can be re-designed. Connectivity to the crib sometimes fails from the app causing us to restart the app. One under rated feature was the ability to switch to our new wifi router, the app did it seamlessly and lesser of a headache than the rest of the iot devices in our home.

Glitchy
The app often has trouble connecting to the crib, which is a problem when it’s how you control most features of the crib. The ability to customize white noise tracks is very cool, but the white nose can only be turned on through the app. The monitor sometimes thinks my baby isn’t there and turns off the crib, even when he’s flailing and fussing. The resolution is also very bad, definitely not the HD they claim. Because of the resolution and the difficulty connecting to the crib we use a separate monitor to keep an eye on the baby. The sleep analytics are in beta, but they’re really off—maybe because the monitor often thinks my baby isn’t there, even when he is. The sleep session doesn’t post until it’s over, so I can’t check, for instance, when his current nap started. It’s also hard to tell from the chart when he was awake and bounced back to sleep by the crib. This app has the potential to be very cool, but right now it’s frustrating, especially because so much of the crib’s functionality relies on the app.

Good! Needs a bit of work!
Overall. Good. The monitor functions exactly as you want it to. The rocking works pretty good, too! It would be cool if it had more patterns or learned from manual input. The cradle sometimes registers that the baby is still there even if they’re not if you leave a sleep sac or larger swaddle behind - skewing the sleep stats. It would be nice if that was fixed. I’ll update review if this gets addressed

Dangerously unreliable monitoring
Of all the things this app is doing the MOST IMPORTANT is RELIABLE baby monitoring. The video/audio call disconnected several times in the same week. Even though our wifi system has complete coverage and stability. The grandparents had to call to let us know that the little one is crying his eyes out!!! This is traumatizing for the baby! For this price tag I expect rock a rock solid experience! The 15$ babyphone from the 80s I was monitored with is still more reliable that this cradlewise system! And to top it off there is no desktop app or recording option and i have to setup the system every single time the power is disconnected ! This is ridiculous! I want my money back!

Most valuable technology in our house(after appliances)
Other than the basic appliances, (refrigerator, oven, microwave, washer/drier, the Cradlewise is the most valuable technology in our home. The number of additional hours of sleep we’vd been able to get because of it is simply priceless. I’d probably pay 3x the cost to have a Cradlewise in our home. Frankly, it’s a no brainer. Our baby was born nearly 10 lbs so at 4 months the Snoo would already be out of the picture due to its size limitations.

Struggling with performance
The app just doesn’t perform at the level it should with the expense of the crib. It crashes too often that I’m nervous about sleeping, the AI is hit or miss, the video frequently won’t load (I was motivated to write this because I just tried to access the video and it won’t load - again. Even after updating the app - again.), the temperature is inaccurate…When issues are reported the troubleshooting instructions are to unplug the crib to restart it - not ideal at 3:00am. It’s happened multiple times. The crib itself is beautiful but we bought it for the tech and it consistently falls short of our expectations.

Horrible app
Love the crib- hate the app Constantly isn’t connecting Can’t tell when baby is in the crib or not .. I’ll be at work and get and alert that baby is in the crib or out of the crib or is stirring lol definitely annoying when the baby isn’t even home unless I have a ghost baby in there Temperature reads 6–10 degrees higher than the room actually is . I’m assuming it’s because it’s so close to the camera and everything (the bar is always warm) It’s problematic cause we dress according to temperature, with the tog system, I’ve had to get 2 different thermometers to make sure and verify that Cradlewise is always wrong It’s also some what annoying that everything( but turning bounce off and on now) has to be on the phone, if the app was good then it wouldn’t be that bad .. but the app has connection issues and takes awhile to load We’re coming from a cubo so the AI with that was exceptional , Cradlewise is a2 out of 10 on that aspect It’s very pretty tho lol

App needs work
The price you pay for being an early adopter. As another reviewer mentioned, the camera quality is abysmal for something that is $1500+. Coming from the Nanit, Cradlewise has a lot of catching up to do with respect to sleep analytics and data. No matter what I do, I can’t see video through mobile data; you have to be connected to wifi, which kind of defeats the purpose. No real tutorial other than connecting to the crib so you have to do some tinkering. The crib itself is beautiful and of good quality, but lots of work is needed with the app to justify its high price.

Works great!
We got cradlewise for our LO and she has been sleeping in it since day 1. The bounce is great and definitely has a calming affect on her when she wakes up in between her sleep cycles. It has an in-built monitor and white noise too. We’ve seen great improvements in the app and their support through the app is good. The app also has some great analytics about the baby’s sleep. Glad that we got this crib. Would definitely recommend!

You pay $2000 for a crib that has a garbage $1 app
Don’t buy this bed if you expect the sake quality from their app. The app is garbage. Takes way too long for you to set up the bed, constantly freezes in the calibration window, if you restart the app because you waited 30 minutes for you to go the the dashboard it goes straight back to the brain dead calibration screen. It’s so obvious that all their budget was spent on the bed, website, and advertising. All I want to do is return this dumpster fire of a bed back to them but it’s a near impossible task to re pack it in the box it came in. Waste of time, money, and energy.

It’s a good start!
No major technical issues except device battery drain (maybe an optional stand alone monitor?). I would love to see an Apple TV app version! App is very easy to navigate and well organized. I think there are only a couple features that would push this app to 5 stars: * recordings to the cloud (all sleep time or only when motion is detected) that are saved for a time period (7 days) that you can download to you device if you want to keep them. * The sleep tracker should also indicate what bounce level the crib is at and the temp at any given point in time. (If video recon was enabled then the ability to jump to it for a given point on the sleep tracker chart!).

Technical issues render candle unusable
We can’t connect to the crib and their tech team after a week of slow responses can’t figure out why. It means we can’t use the app at all which means we can’t use any of the features of the cribs as connecting is the first step in setup and you can’t get past it. There should be other backup options for when setup fails. They have us scheduled to meet with a junior software engineer in India at the end of the week via a zoom call. Too much hassle for a $2,000 crib. Wish we went with snoo.

Concept is great if the app actually worked
The crib itself and the concept of cradlewise is great but only if the app actually worked. I’ve had this crib aloft a year now and the app freezes many times a week. I rely on the cradlewise monitor to inform me when baby is awake or crying since she sleeps in a different room but the monitor and app itself continues to freeze randomly and becomes unreliable. It is quite frustrating to depend on something that continues to glitch and with no actual solution from their customer support team.

Saves my wife, baby and myself lots of sleep
Love this crib! This crib and app have saved my wife and I hours of sleep each day/night. After reading old reviews it looks like people’s biggest problems were related to earlier versions of the app. We’re using version 1.9.7 (June 2024) and so far, it has been super helpful, soothing at the right time and helping both our baby girl and us have better nights sleep. Negative reviews often speak a lot about app stability/bugs. We haven’t encountered that so far. But I’ll updated if this changes.

Get a Snoo
I spent SO much money on this crib specially for it’s “smart” features… only to experience an exorbitant amount of glitches to the point the app doesn’t even work. It won’t even let you check you baby monitor when it is down which is a safety issue to say the least. What is the point of paying over $1000 for a crib just to have to buy a separate baby monitor? Useless app, don't waste your money
While the crib is of high quality and justifies its price with its technology, it consistently struggles with app connectivity.
