Crowdtap Surveys & Opinions

So I love the Crowdtap app. It’s by far the best app I have found to do surveys and get points. However is there anyway to add a back button to the top of each individual survey screen in case we need to go back and check an answer on the previous screen? I would still suggest adding a refresh button in the app so I don’t have to completely close out the app and reopen in order to see if there are more surveys available as I still have to do that at times. And finally I don’t know if this falls on you guys or not, but many times when we are asked to select all options for a particular question, we are only given the option to select one answer even though several pertain to what I’m using. For instance, there might be a question asking what financial products I use and there may be options for retirement through an employer, debit card, checking account, savings account, etc. and all of those pertain to me but it only allows me to select one answer and one answer is not accurate. Which one do I choose if all of them are products I use? This doesn’t happen all the time but fairly frequently. There are also times when a survey asks which item I use and I may not use any of those items and there’s no option for none of the above. It just seems some of the surveys need to be a little more closely looked at to include appropriate answers or options. Thank you.

this is a genuine review, and this app is awesome. i used this like a year ago when i had 500 points, then i just used it TODAY and got 1500 points, which is 7.50 dollars, so i redeemed a playstation gift card, but i just wanna say it’s really good and efficient, you get around 5-10 dollars a day just by doing this depending on how much you do it. this app is awesome. and this review is NOT botted, i am a human . edit it does take a while for ur reward, don’t expect it to give it to you overnight. edit this review was originally 5 stars, but i switched it because it’s taking a long time to get my reward, i’ve been waiting over two days now, which is how long it claimed to take to get my reward, and im dissatisfied now. it’s still an amazing app, it’s just taking really long for my reward. Edit: i contacted support, and it said i tried to redeem a gift during their transmission to a new gift card provider, and it said it added my 2000 points back to my account, but it didn’t at all. after i told the ai, it said that i had to reset all cookies and history to help. I did that, still nothing. I still don’t have my 2000 points back. sorry crowdtap, im still dissatisfied. never mind after i completed a survey i got my points back. i would give it 5 stars, but all this ruckus it caused brung it down a star.

I’ve always loved Crowdtap. Through being a member I’ve been able to try a lot of products and earn some extra money. I’m giving the app four stars for two main reasons. First, the app has seemed to do away with the amount of samples. I occasionally check the crowdtap website and since downloading the app, there have MAYBE been two sampling opportunities on the site. I would’ve never seen them if I relied solely on using the app. I miss samples! Lol. The other issue I have is there are sometimes delays in the app loading after I submit a response. When it finally does load it will skip over any additional questions and not give me the option to go back to answer them. I do also wish there were more questions to answer. I miss giving my opinions of specific brands and having opportunities to sample and earn more. Still a HUGE fan.

The app itself isn’t bad. You definitely can get gift cards within a reasonable amount of time and I never had issues with waiting too long for the cards I cashed out. BUT even though their policy states that more than one person in a household can have an account, if you use the same device (let’s say a shared desktop) beware that both accounts will be flagged and disabled without explanation. Which is exactly what happened to me when I tried to help my mother (a senior) log back into her account that she couldn’t remember the password to. That means whatever points you had are gone and can’t be cashed out. Very convenient since they already took your feedback and answers that they don’t need to pay, right? Then they’ll send you a generic email about how you violated their terms and guidelines and they can’t reinstate your account, without reading your explanation. Even if you’ve been a member of Crowdtap since before this app platform was created, you won’t be given even the decency of a human response or a personalized one. (As you can see from all the recent bad reviews of banned accounts and the copy-paste response under each one from Crowdtap.) So don’t expect any return loyalty as a consumer from this company as no matter how many thousands of questions you answer for them, you will still get the same generic response back to your issues; “We appreciate your inquiry but unfortunately we cannot provide further assistance at this time.”

I downloaded this app a little while ago so I’m not sure about some of the issues people have had, as I haven’t experience any. The only issue I have had is a few days ago my app was showing no surveys for days but I came on here and someone who had a similar issue they told to logout and log back in and that fixed it for me! I feel like they give you a fair amount of points per survey, I’ve maybe spent like a an hour of my time total and I’ve made like $15. It’s not like crazy good money but I know a lot of survey apps have it where you have to save up points for weeks and weeks just to get a measly $5, but this one you could probably spend like 25 minutes and get $5, maybe more if you’re not also half watching tv at the same time like me. So you can cash out points in a short period of time and they have so many gift card options. It’s kind of fun in a way and I like to do something else while watching tv so I just take these little surveys and fund my Starbucks addiction. Also is nice because you don’t have to answer like 5 minutes worth of questions just to find out you don’t qualify for a survey, instead the ‘surveys’ themselves are usually just like a couple questions about a certain topic.

I can not brag enough on Crowdtap. The surveys are short and sweet, very pleasant to take and the outstanding support I received literally made me cry. My mother became deathly I’ll right after I got the app on my new phone, then as soon as she got better she had to have complete hip replacement. I was waiting on 2 giftcards, after a few days I messaged support because I was afraid my account had been locked from my absence. Within an hour they had already messaged me back. Scarlet Rose was the members advocate and I am telling you it was the nicest, most heartfelt email I’ve ever received from any support member/team. Scarlet Rose made me feel like an old friend instead of a nobody and over the years I’ve dealt with a few that has made me feel pretty bad. I have been so stressed lately that this nice, helpful and informing email from a extremely sweet human was much needed. Thank you Scarlet Rose and thank you Crowdtap for going above and beyond. I can always count on Crowdtap and now I know without a doubt that a little bit of kindness goes a long way. If you love quick payouts and easy surveys with good people behind it then download Crowdtap you will not be disappointed!!

I am another customer who used this app faithfully and was disabled for no reason. I’ve always been careful to follow the guidelines - and you can’t even get through to a human to discuss the issue much less given an explanation why. I don’t write reviews on apps but I am so disgusted with the way this was handled, and am hoping this will prevent others from wasting their time downloading the app. Clearly this is a huge issue among users, and nothing is being done to address it. ETA: they also seem to like to make these placating responses on critical reviews, but getting through to an actual person and not an automated reply is impossible- and they still provide no explanation. Plus even if what they say is true and someone did miss an attention check or had a slight variation in response- we are human beings taking these surveys for a small supplemental income and from what I can tell in the large number of critical reviews- most are honest people trying their best. Missing one attention check or one consistency getting you banned and allowing for no human error is absurd. There should have to be an established pattern of inconsistency or missed checks to ban someone. Not that any of it matters, because they are apparently “too busy” to dignify anyone with an explanation much less an attempt to reinstate their account. Again, don’t waste your time.

So I don’t usually review apps, but I want to make sure that nobody wastes their time on an app that you could potentially put time and effort into, only to get banned for no reason so they don’t have to pay you. I signed up for CrowdTap and thought it would be a good app to earn some rewards with on the side. Now, I take my responses to surveys extremely seriously and strive to always give thoughtful, real, detailed responses. Last week after one day of using the app, I woke up the next morning to discover that I was banned. I was extremely confused as I had only done 3 or 4 surveys and had taken my sweet time to make sure the responses were detailed. I submitted a ticket through their support system, and support didn’t get back to me until a FULL WEEK LATER. The reason I was given by the support staff for my INSTANT BAN was that there was “suspicious account activity” on my account....uh....what? So I asked for specifics: a legitimate example or instance of why they thought my account had “suspicious activity” and was replied to by the same support staff that my account was banned for “low quality responses”. So when I pressed them on why my account was banned, they gave me a completely unrelated and different reason and don’t realize how that could be troublesome? STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP IF YOU CARE ABOUT ACTUALLY EARNING REWARDS WITH YOUR RESPONSES.

I had over 16k points saved up with them (over $80 worth) and got banned for no reason. I’ve been on this and many other platforms for years and have a spotless record with ALL of them. I sent an email to support and got an automatic response in 2 seconds lying about having “thoroughly investigated the issue” - wow, your bot did that in 2 seconds? Impressive! Or you’re blatantly lying and stole $80 from me. Left a review on another site to warn people because people NEED to be aware that this company is now run by thieves and crooks. A response that sounded like it actually might have been human told me to submit another request. I wasted my time listening and….a bot copy and pasted the exact same word for word scripted lie in the 2 seconds that they expect me to believe it took to “investigate my issue”. To reiterate, CROWDTAP STOLE $80 FROM ME. This isn’t just about the wrongful ban, this is about stealing what I worked for, what I earned. I’ve filed a complaint with the BBB and am also looking into what I can do through the consumer financial protection bureau among other avenues because look at any recent review - they’re doing this to everyone lately. They need to be stopped and held accountable for their fraud.

I used to love this app and the website, but sadly it went downhill very fast. I constantly have loading issues and it isn’t my WiFi because it happens no matter what device I am using and no matter where I am. Besides that, I was saving up points, hit redeem and my account was blocked. I sent a few different emails to Crowdtap asking them why I was blocked because I did not violate any terms, but maybe they’re too busy trying to fix their app to respond to me. This happened once before but they told me it was “accident” and unblocked my account, yet they did it again.. another accident I’m guessing. So it just shows they aren’t very stable and like to randomly block accounts instead of paying out. So bottom line, I answered all the surveys honestly, dedicated time in doing so and I did enjoy it up until they block my account for absolutely no reason other than to not pay out. Just wanted to share so no one wastes their time like I did.

Third edit: I tried to change my email and it took weeks. Customer support would go several days with no response. I finally got my email changed and immediately my account was blocked. I emailed support several different times about it (from both the new and the old email) and have gotten nothing back for weeks. It’s so incredibly disappointing because this used to be my favorite survey place. I’ve had breakups less upsetting than this. Second edit: they seemed to have fixed the issues! Hooray! Edit: After writing this review I updated the app. Now it’s terrible! I hardly have any surveys and half of them break… I’m hoping it’s just temporary and they’ll fix these issues. I’m hoping things will go back to how they were. This app used to be the best out there but now it’s even worse than the rest of them. Please fix it! ————- Old review: I’ve been using this app for like a year. Much better than other survey sites because you don’t get kicked out or disqualified ever. They do test you a lot so make extra sure everything is consistent. It’s been easy to earn points and cash out. This is most definitely the best survey app I’ve ever used.

After using the app for a few weeks, and answering the surveys honestly and thoughtfully each time, I was banned for seemingly no reason. Attempted to get more information on what rules I had violated or what about my account activity was suspicious, and was told they could not release that information as it was private (despite it being about MY account). I had just redeemed a gift card that I hadn’t received yet, and they will not answer my question as to whether I’ll still receive that. It was fun for the time I was able to use it and I was able to receive rewards for my participation prior, so they do pay out, but the fact they will just randomly ban users with no real explanation as to why is very frustrating. Maybe avoid if you don’t want to have your time wasted and potentially not receive the rewards you earned. Occasionally the app would randomly crash/close surveys in the middle of doing them as well, and not give rewards for those or allow the user to finish them.

I have been using crowdtap for a number of months now, and have loved every minute of it. However, I randomly lost access to my account and received an email saying, my account has been deactivated due to a violation of their terms and service. The email said, “ if you feel this message was an error please mean us”. I have emailed customer service and messaged social media platforms and I have not heard back. I have never violated any standards and was happy to earn the gift cards in a variety of ways. I even won a big gift card from Instagram that I never got to use since my account was deactivated. I was heartbroken to say the least because I recommend this app to all my friends and family. I also answer all questions honestly and truthfully. I’m sad I lost all the gift cards and would have atleast liked those before my account was taken from me. So disappointed!

This app sets you up to fail and get banned. I did a bunch of surveys just fine. I always answer honestly as i have no reason to lie. Then the surveys got weird. I had one ask what types of nutritional products I use. I say protein drinks, since i use them every day and select nothing else, as its all i use. Then it says you said you use energy drinks, how often do you drink them? Um no i only selected protein drinks as i dont drink energy drinks. Then it continues to ask me questions about my energy drink consumption. Another survey asked me what stores I recently shopped at. Selected a few stores i shop at. Did not select dollar tree as it has been a long time since i have shopped there. My next question was along the lines of “you said you bought toothpaste at dollar tree, how often do you do that.” I tried selecting other and putting i did not say that, nor was there ever a toothpaste question for family dollar. Thru all this I did earn enough for $5 but they banned me. So i guess i wont be seeing that. Pathetic scam. Dont waste your time.

What has happened to this app. Over 10 years I’m here and no problems… I get banned n my gc disappears too,,,for no phone number n then they fixed that n I got the gc. One week later I sent for$ 10 gc n few days more sent for five dollar gc. NEVER RECEIVED. Tappy the robot resent the two gc’s but they were old ones. So I wrote support n was asked for proof cause they have no gift cards for me. And i sent them pics of both cards. Was told they would resend. N never got these. Wrote again n was asked to send proof which was enclosed on same email. So I guess I am out of luck n will not use anymore n will let my survey people know too. I will not waste my time again… response was now someone changed my email n thats where the cards were sent.. it was ail. Com instead of aol. Com and i cant fix it till mid august and nobody got back to me since last week… ( note : i didnt change it) this has been going on for over a month, All i want is for CT to fix my email n resend my two giftcards, Is that too much to ask,

I never ever put reviews in any apps even if it’s my favorite but this app has changed everything. I downloaded this app in November of 2022 and now it’s may 2023 in just several months I made $185 dollars. I have many other survey apps but they take so much time and most times you are not even qualified but this app you’ll always be qualified. I have been honest in every surveys and I have deleted every other survey apps that I had because they really took time and also a waisted of time. This app ask as little questions and you get points for every time and if it take a little longer it would give you more points but the longest. I’m a slow reader but in this app the longest survey that I took would have probably been like 3 mins top. Who ever created this app I genuinely love you♥️♥️

I’ve been doing surveys for over 20 years. Let me say this, I started off doing surveys in my local mall they paid me $10 bucks for 30 minutes of my time, this was back in 1998. Ever since then I’ve been doing surveys. I had Crowdtap in my phone for 1 whole year before I started trying it lol. Once I started trying it I was very happy. I never get disqualified for answering questions. That’s one of the best part you guys! I have done and tried over 30 apps over 30 survey companies and I’d have to say Crowdtap is by far my favorite most lucrative app. I made over $600 dollars in 2023. I believe in this company and I believe in their customer service. I am shocked this doesn’t have a higher rating as I believe this app is worth more than the stars it has. Thank you Crowdtap.

So I love Crowdtap so much. It's unlike other survey apps and websites. It gives you an endless amount of surveys per board and also reasonable pay. The surveys don't just disqualify you and give you nothing. Sure, you can get disqualified (at the beginning, middle, or near the end), but it will pay you points based on the time and effort you spent, which is brilliant. But I've been having so much issues lately. For example, I accidently clicked the wrong buttons sometimes so I was afraid it might affect my experience and give me less survey qualification opportunities. So I disabled my account and tried to create a new one, but it said my phone number was already in use, but that shouldn't be, since I already disabled my account; it should be gone. Next, I created a new email to create another account and used my other phone number to verify, and it worked. But the next morning I went to complete surveys, it said my account had been disabled. Apparently I violated something or did something wrong, but I didn't even touch the app yet! I tried to contact support with email but I could not find Crowdtap support. Now I have no more phone numbers to use nor can I create a new account since I'll just get disabled. I've already used up all my e-mails too. I really wish I could keep using this app, but I'm disappointed that it's not working well for me anymore. It would be great if this could be fixed.

I made an account, got about 800 points, closed the app because there were no more surveys to take for the day, and when I opened the app back up, I was pretty annoyed when I found out that I was logged out of my account and when I tried to log back into it, it just gave me an annoying error message saying “This account has been disabled. Please contact support.” Mind you, I had just created this account and not even a few hours later my account is disabled for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I tried making another account, earned about another 800 points, closed the app, opened it again, and I got the same error message!! This is ridiculous and completely unacceptable. I won’t be trying to appeal my accounts either as I have done absolutely nothing wrong to warrant this. I’ll just simply give the developers of this app what they deserve which is a one star rating and the complete truth about this app. It’s a totally useless app. Don’t even download it.

This app used to be great, it was a easy and quick way to make money. However recently it has not been good. I have over $30 I need to redeem, however the app will not let me redeem them. I contacted customer service and their advice was for me to make a new account and have my points transferred, which was fine by me. I made a new account and within 24 hours my new account was blocked. I once again emailed customer service for help since my new account had been blocked, and my points never transferred anyways. It has been over a week with no response from anyone. I have emailed maybe about 5 different times since my account got blocked and still have not heard anything. With the holidays coming up it would be nice to be able to have access to my gift cards to gift myself and others things, however I still cannot redeem my points, and honestly crowdtap has been no help trying to resolve the issue.

This was one of my favorite apps to do surveys on! I would cash out $5-$20 a week doing them. I’ve done several live interviews too- super fun, and felt good to give HONEST FEEDBACK. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service, and system now. When I was ready to cash out, it logged me out, no reason. I tried to log in, “incorrect password”, so I reset the password. Then trying again to log in, my account had been disabled. I thought it had been hacked! I emailed in concerned about the status, they tell me they disabled it because inconsistent answers! WHAT?! They did a “one time courtesy” of letting me have it back, not even 3 days later they disable it again. I hadn’t even answered 9 blocks of questions! This time I get an extremely rude and generic response from the customer service department. After responding back to them asking for “proof” of what I did, no response. Honestly if you don’t want to pay people for doing the tests, then close. Sometimes they would be 10+ minutes long for 27 points. For those of you wondering if this is worth it.. 1000 points = $5. Don’t waste your time with it. Horrible customer service, no answers for why accounts are being disabled other then a generic “cover our basis” response. On a positive note Crowdtap, you wanted honest responses. Like I said in my first email, I pride myself in giving honest feedback, and this time your not paying me for it.

With Crowdtap, you actually earn rewards monthly unlike some which take a year and then the reward isn’t available. The app itself is set up way better than the website. It’s super easy to navigate and fun. Some of the questions are messed up though. For instance, once it asked which of the following 6 options applied to me, but then it required me to select all six answers to continue. I usually skip those questions but then you don’t get points. Any issues I’ve had in the past have been resolved quickly without my involvement. Once I used the customer help through the app, and it was simple and my issue was resolved within a day.

Used the app for about 30 min, minimum buy in for giftcard is 1000 points for $5. I believe you start with around 150 points, you have what seems like infinite surveys, none tell you how long it will take or how much you will make, most are little surveys that take about a minute and you make 3-5 points from each, 3 points for a survey no matter how short or long is ridiculous, after the 30 min I am at about 220 points, the math says that 200 points is $1, it may seem like ive made a good $1.10 in that time but remember that the start bonus contributed to a huge amount of that, I really only made about 40 cents in 25min which is a poor amount. Also the surveys are really repetitive and you often get very similar questions between surveys. App seems new and well designed but survey and reward system has a long way to go.

Crowdtap replaced Perksy for me, which suddenly disappeared a year ago. I actually just discovered Perksy was gone a few days ago! I work full time, have 2 kids under 13, and a husband, I’m usually quite busy and haven’t been to Perksy’s app for some time…but I’m home sick, so to burn time I tried t open Perksy, discovered it was gone on Reddit & saw recommendations for Crowdtap. Downloaded Crowdtap and started using it, so far I’ve amassed a lot of points, haven’t redeemed them and don’t have any surveys to do currently and won’t have the time to spend in the app once I’m back to feeling normal and working. I do like their layout, easy to use, fun to use to. So far it’s been a fun experience and I haven’t even cashed points out yet.

I’ve been using this app for over a year consistently. Suddenly overnight, my account was banned. I’m especially irked because I had not had a chance to redeem my latest points. I contacted customer support and was told my account was “flagged for violating terms of service.” I’ve always answered surveys honestly and my activity on the app had not changed leading up to this ban, but of course, they offer no explanation for how the terms of service were allegedly violated. They also told me “this decision is final, and our team will not be responding to further inquiries regarding reasons or asking for second chances.” Edit: I did contact them again despite being told future contact would be ignored. I just wanted to see if I could at least redeem my points. They did allow me to and, to my surprise, reinstated my account.

I had been using crowdtap for a long time now. Long before they even had an app. When I first started using crowdtap it was on a computer only. There were many opportunities for surveys and to receive free samples. I had never had any issues before. Now that I have had the app for a little while it’s gone down hill significantly. They will ban you without notice for answering too quickly. I had been banned for failing a “trap survey” then I had gotten banned for “low quality responses” therefore I have had my account disabled permanently, this was the response I had gotten after reaching out to customer service. If you read their newer terms of service they have the right to ban you without any reasoning at all. So you have the potential to waste a lot of time without receiving anything. I greatly wish they would go back to being the company they used to be. I used to think so highly, and now not so much.

I used to love this app, I tried lots of survey apps and I got tired of the ones where you would do almost the whole survey and then get kicked out because you didn’t qualify and got barely any points and wasted 20 min.. well this one wasn’t like that.. I was actually earning! But when I went to cash out the $45 dollars I had earned, the next day it blocked me.. lots of people say they have problems with crowdtap blocking them… so I emailed customer support and they wouldn’t tell me what I did wrong, just that my account wasn’t going to be unblocked… but I have been honest in all my questions. I only have one account… so what?? I made to much money and they blocked me and now they aren’t going to give me that money either!!! That’s crap!! And seems really scetchy to me!! So yeah, I would have recommended this before, but now… this is crap!!! I’m not recommending this to anyone!!! This is a crap app and a total scam!!

This app is so much better than most survey apps! It’s on time! Reliable and always had new surveys available to answer. Once you c lest your board you come back when there’s more available to answer. Over all a 11/10 app i love it! And I have been able to redeem my points earned into gift cards! It really works and I love it!! I will say I do wish more surveys were able to earn more but sometimes when you reach certain amount in the day, you’re done, and need to come back next day or when more surveys available. You can not share to earn but that’s okay you can easily earn answering questions and that part is good to know. Especially being able to redeem & “cashing out” into gift cards:)

I responded to an email I received from Crowdtap yesterday November 7th and realized I could not log on to the App, tried going through the channels to get it rectified only now to be told that I violated the terms of service and community guidelines and so my account will not be activated. How?? By responding to an email? Was it because I used my laptop instead of the app?? If I had knowingly did something wrong, I would be fine with that but to be told I violated rules when I know I didn’t leaves a bitter taste. I really enjoyed my time on the App and I did claim a few gift cards! One thing I will say, please ensure that the account holders, really did something wrong and not bots/algorithms decide that.

My account was deactivated after a few hours of my use. I answered each survey carefully (like many other folks on here) so I don’t understand why the account was deactivated. The help desk bot is useless for helping with deactivations. it took much too long to realize I needed to email someone else for help. The page that the developer constantly references in their responses here is also useless to most users. There seems to be MANY people that are being removed for no clear reason. No one followed up with me about the status of my account so all of points I accrued are lost—what a joke. You may make points, but there’s no guarantee that you’ll get to keep them. It’s like telling a kid they can earn a bike by saving their yard-work cash, and then stealing the jar of cash without an explanation. We are providing extremely valuable data to brands and yet you block us for no reason? Come on…

For no reason my account has been suspended. I put in a ticket back on 7/20 and have STILL not received ANY feedback with regards to this issue. I also referred my sons girlfriend to this app and she is not having this issue. I really enjoy using this app. Being that I am having employment issues as a result of the pandemic the gift cards that I redeem my points for have been a lifesaver at Christmas time! If someone can please reach out to me to resolve this issue I would greatly appreciate it!!! I HAVE SUBMITTED A support request as well as sending multiple follow-ups as I noted above!! Please review based on what is sent to your company. My sons girlfriend also started using your app and her account was also deactivated after maybe 2 weeks. Please advise once again!!!!

Update*** 9/3/24 I have reached out to crowdtap about my account being deactivated and someone did actually respond to my email and I am no longer deactivated!!!! Like I said I have been a member for many years of crowdtap and never had this happened before, I’ve always been able to redeem my rewards with no problems at all. I’ve always answered honestly I just hope I don’t get deactivated again…..(my last post) I have been a member of crowdtap for many years now & recently they deactivated my account for no reason. I sent in to appeal haven’t heard anything back would like to get in contact with customer service

I have wasted hours on this app doing surveys to get gift cards. Well, when I enough points I picked a gift card to see if this app is legit. They said I’ll receive my gift card in my email in 2 business days. Totally untrue! After 7 business days it’s still in the not yet approved stage. Total false advertising! I still have to find a survey app that’s legit and actually pays. It seems like everything online now is just a scam. Disappointed. UPDATE: I have gotten the gift card I was supposed to get and it worked perfectly! I received it literally the same day I wrote my previous review. It’s a great way to earn some extra $$.

I downloaded this app one day while bored at work. Proceeded to earn almost 800 coins my first day using it! The next day when trying to log in, it said my account had been deactivated and to contact customer service. Upon doing so, they were unable to find my account. I gave them all of my information, and didn’t hear anything for the next couple of days. Today I thought, maybe I’ll just try creating another account. Went fine until I had to enter a phone number and I couldn’t create an account with the same phone number that’d been previously used with another account. Sooooo I guess I’m out of luck since my account was mysteriously deactivated, but customer service can’t find my account, and I also can’t create a new one since my phone number is connected to mysteriously “lost” account. Bummer.

I’ve had 4 accounts so far because they keep deleting them. First account, I made $100+ in a month. That account got deleted pretty quick. Second account I made ~$60 in a month, again got deleted. Third account, I noticed the pattern so I only made $30 in the month but they said I was giving poor answers so on this fourth account I was making $15 a month and making sure to fill out (example) at least out 200 of 250 character or 400 out of 500 characters. I’m giving quality answers and taking my time to do the questions. This app is a joke and not worth your time. They’ll delete your account no matter what you do. Everyone I know has had similar issues with it-it’s like they go on account deactivation sprees in their free time instead of fixing the bugs on the app.

I’ve been with crowdtap for over a year! And I’ve enjoyed being with them even through the changes, right now I’m here to talk about the current app. It’s been frustrating that I always receive a link and when I click on it it never goes to the app it always goes to the mobile site. And the questions on the mobile site are not in sync with the app so you don’t get to answer all of the questions just on one place you have to log in on the app and the website and sometimes the site functions as if the user is trying to cheat and it locks you out or freezes questions. When all a person wants to do is just fill out all of the questions? Why can’t all the questions just be on the app just as they are on the website? Thank you.

This app has a tendency to ban users for no legitimate reason regardless of the thoughtfulness, honesty, and quality of the responses. There is a trending tendency to ban users when they are close to redeeming points for a gift card. The company behind this app then keeps your data and commits theft of your time, while denying you the expected compensation and there is nothing you can do about it, other than not waste more of your precious time participating in such dishonest schemes. That being said, I consider myself fortunate to have uncovered this on day two of app usage. After doing further research, I find this issue to be a common one among many who have interacted with this app and company. Maybe you will be lucky and they won’t pull this scheme on you. Statistically, it is likely to happen at some point. Personally, I do not have such time in my day to day life to waste.

I recently signed up for this and without ever being able to logon, the next time I tried they said my account was disabled due to violations of their term of service/community standard. I read through both in their entirety and without ever have been able to logon, I don’t know how I could ever violate either of these items. So I wrote back to them to ask for clarification of what they were specifically claiming that I had violated and a second notice that they would not be reinstating my account. They responded that for security reasons they couldn’t tell me how what I did/why my account was disabled. It took them nearly 48 hours to respond. Their are also 54 unanswered complaints on BBB. Though they are not accredited by them, the number of complaints are concerning. This is a questionable app with a lack of transparent practices and questionable honesty.

It took me a while (a month or two) to start getting surveys (is that what you call them?) but now I get them daily. The app is simple to use and the questions are pretty straight forward. I like it because I can do it anytime I have some downtime. It’s nice to get paid to give my input. You’re not going to make a living with it but you can definitely make a little extra money. I mention it to anyone who is looking for some side money. I’ve been paid quickly unlike some other sites. It would be nice if you could get paid by PayPal but crowdtap has a good variety of gift cards I can use.

Overall I’m happy with crowdtap. I like it. I think it’s a fun, easy, and quick way to earn gift cards. Do a little every day and things are fine. The only reason I deducted a star is because it took over 4 months for my account to have enough points to get “verified”. I checked it every day for the first 2 months, only got a couple questions a week. Then I started checking it weekly. And still not more than 1-3. Finally, I had over the amount they verify your account at (which is a lot, but less than the first gift card amount). And once it did that, questions started pouring in. I guess it’s a way to weed out the people that aren’t serious? But I’m happy with it, and my friends are too. We all use it.

Not bad! Not the fastest money maker but probably good for $5-10 a month depending on how much time you put in it. I spend as little tome as possible on these apps to keep my hourly rate up ;). It does have it flaws especially on open ended questions. For example it will say write ONE WORD that comes to mind when you think of blah blah then when you do you get, sorry you need to be more detailed as a standard reply...and can’t go forward unless you write 7 more words. Also you get a series where first question is do you own a dog...you say no and get 6 more questions asking about your dog. In other words, their editors don’t do a good job. But all and all it’s easy, quick and pays fast when you do cash out.

I give this app a 10/10. The first reason i give this app a 10/10 is because it’s easy to use and also easy to earn points. The surveys are simple and some surveys give a lot of points that makes you earn points more quicker. I highly recommend this app because when you are bored at home, you can use this app and it’s fun to answer questions like questions that people never asked you before. It rewards you with points that reach to a limit of a certain gift card of your choice. I love it so much and i highly recommend pregnant/ single moms to use if they don’t have any money to buy certain things for their kids.

I have been apart of Crowdtap for several months already. They only thing is for the past couple months I haven’t been able to sit down on my laptop and answer all my questions like I use to. I was checking my email this morning and noticed I got an email from Crowdtap, I was so excited to read that they now have an app. So I IMMEDIATELY downloaded it, I logged into my account and got right to answering. I love it. Everything works great so far. All my points were there. I love how they have the little squares in different colors to click on. I will definitely be able to be more active now with this app. Thank you so much Crowdtap! Great job!!!

After i have gotten enough points for a giftcard i waited 2 days and when it said i got a email it i didn’t receive it I contacted support and they said they would help me they just needed my email after that they didnt respond after a couple hours they still haven’t responded so I contacted again and i still have not gotten my reward or help. After i get my reward i will change this rating. 2nd edit: I got my reward and i redeemed my second one and came shortly after. Im glad that i got my reward and it is a good app. It only takes up to 40 minutes to get a giftcard.👍😃

I made an account at 6:40am on the website to make a little extra for fun things and this was the first time I had ever used or heard of this company. Reddit was saying some pretty great things so I had higher hopes. All until 12:00pm. I decided to get the app since it would be easier than the website and that’s when I was unable to log into my account. I assumed it was because I had the tab open in Google Chrome so I closed that out and tried to log in again. That’s when I got the pop up that my account had been banned. I emailed their support and that’s when I was told my account was banned for violating terms of service and community guidelines. Upon trying to get further information and hoping that I could get my account back, I was told that their software detects “multiple account creators, spammers, bots, and anyone negatively impacting our platform.” None of which fell under the category of me. They then told me there was essentially nothing I could do in the same email before I could have a chance. TL;DR: I found out about this platform and in the span of 4 hours was banned for nothing I wouldn’t recommend this app at all and am baffled at the lack of care from support. Don’t even bother.

This app would be amazing if they’d ever let me take more surveys! I’ve had this app for probably just over a month now, maybe longer. In the first day they let me take a ton of surveys, mostly ones to get me acquainted with how the app works. I personally think that that’s a great method of training users. The issue is once I did all of those surveys it dwindled to about three surveys every other day and then to none. Today was the first day in about two weeks that I’ve gotten surveys. I got two and they were only one question and three points each. I check the app multiple times a day and although I’ll continue checking and keep the app on my phone, it seems useless to both me and Crowdtap if they don’t let me do what the app is designed for. Five stars for the design and easy usability, four star deduction for me not being able to do anything with it.

Crowdtap is the best app there is for surveys!! If you’re a stay at home mom like me who is always busy, has an infant, toddler & middle child then you know it’s hard to even find a job… luckily I found crowdtap! I’ve been using this app for almost 2 months already & I love it ! It’s the only app that gives you the points you earned & deserve !! It’s the only app that doesn’t have pop up banners saying “ oops you didn’t qualify for this survey “ after wasting your time to do the survey !! Crowdtap has helped me financially & this momma will keep recommending it to all her family & friends ! Thanks crowdtap for this opportunity ❤️👌

So yea I have time to waste on apps and i usually see apps that promise to make you money for weird tasks like downloading apps or surveys or whatever. But this one actually gives you surveys and actually let’s you checkout your points and actually sends the rewards to your email in a day or 2. I have nothing bad to say. it just works.. first time I actually receive rewards from doing exactly what it says. No games. And no this isn’t a paid or fake review. I don’t even leave reviews for apps. This works and it deserves a review because I got what it promised. Simple and done.

I absolutely love Crowdtap! The surveys never take long to answer and you are granted at least 3 point per tab. And the best part is you are able to redeem at only 1000 points(sounds high but they accumulate quickly) and you are eligible for $5 for every 1000 points (1,000=$5 : 2,000=$10 : 5,000=$25 so on) there is a large variety of gift cards to choose from and the payout is very fast compared to other sites. There are some details that are available on the browser site that I wish the app would include, such as showing how many points are being offered for each survey.

Update: See their canned response? Just a copy and paste reply lying about how their Customer Unsupport can help me. By ignoring everyone. See why so many people have the same problem in the same timeframe? This is probably just a bot replying to 1 star ratings with a canned copy and paste bit so newbies will think Crowdtap cares about its users. Like so many other former members, my account was wrongfully disabled. Like everybody else, Crowdtap refused to even consider my appeal or even acknowledge me in the promised 48 hours to reply to me. Avoid at all costs. They’ll steal the money you rightfully earned from your account and slander you to justify it. Just like everybody else these last few months. To other victims of Crowdtap’s crimes, file a complaint to BBB to overwhelm them and NY Attorney General so she’ll see this is a problem to take seriously.
