The online version of the Times-News does have the advantage of putting current stories in front of the reader before the next morning. It only lacks the feel of newsprint.
Best way to get the current status of area happenings. Believe the reporting is basically unbiased as can be within the current culture. Would counsel that the electronic transmittals are in need of clearer viewing particularly in words, not so much in images. In short, IT performance needs improved.
I enjoy the stories about old times . The editorial section is especially interesting . The sports section does well with listing the television times for events .
I have had this app for several years. With the most recent upgrade, it now frequently crashes and is not responsive to touches on the home screen. I am using iOS and have been with both versions.
I’ve been following your paper, on line, ever sine you produced the email version. The new update is completely useless. I can no longer get the app to work. I left Cumberland over 40 years ago and depend on your paper for local news/obits etc. please fix so I can once follow.
I just downloaded the update, and it barely works. It is buggy and glitchy, and difficult to navigate. The E Paper version easier to navigate, but only seems to actually show section A of the paper, so don't plan on reading much else. I know CTN doesn't have a budget like the Wall Street Journal, but don't launch an app until you have it working well. Right now, it's pretty useless.
I'd love to use the app but it frequently crashes. When I say frequent I mean 98 percent of the time. Turning off animation didn't help either and I'm using a new iPhone 5s with the latest iOS
