I took off a star because within the app I want to ‘“Share” the app’ instead of going to the App Store and using the share function there. Then I text to my friends.
I’m so excited and proud to have this app to take action against gun violence. I keep getting notifications from the app to do things, but EVERY time I go to the app I have to log in (incredibly unnecessary and annoying) most of the time login doesn’t work, and when it does I have to go through all of the welcome screens even though I don’t need this info anymore. All of this combined is making it extremely difficult to take the action you want us to, and is definitely having a detrimental effect on your cause!
I was able to log in but this isn’t leading me to action: im having difficulty parsing and actually applying the filters I want to find actions for adult groups local to my area. Also, just scrolling through the main feed, it’s irritating that my scrolling past linked articles triggers the link to open far more frequently than I want. I’ll just stick to tuning in via email newsletter for now.
This app is amazing for the info, actions, and connection if provides, but it has been very glitchy for me, often crashing. It seems never to remember my login, and I continue to receive the same welcome and tour info every time I use it. I hope the developers can fix the issue.
I wish I could use this app more with my chapter but unfortunately it’s just so much slower than Everytown websites or other platforms. It usually takes a relaunch and a healthy dose of waiting just to get to the main feed and there’s no clear use case or advantage of using the app.
Downloaded app. Asked to create an account. Won’t accept my email address- says it is invalid. ??? So, I can’t even enter the app to see what it is all about. Gladly reconsider my rating once I can actually use the app.
