Typing should be the same as Microsoft Word. Example: one word should be style, bold, underline, ext. and other word should be different style, bold, and ext. More Fonts style too then having two different style Fonts.

Works good. Like it way better than the keypad version i had. Glad it used the same cartridges I already have... Many reviews say they don't like the print quality - but if you had been using the keypad versions- this is identical, but way quicker and easier to use plus you can see the full output without wasting tape as well as save them for regular use. I wish they had more options for borders and more for fonts however I am guessing so it transmits faster that it just sends canned codes for the font, size and border then adds the txt. Basically the options you see are whats loaded on the unit. People who negatively review this are likely thinking that this is like a regular printer. Im hoping that they will have some firmware updates that come with a few more fonts and borders though. People also are not liking using batteries. I would have loved to have a plug-in though but true portability comes from batteries you can swap and not wait to charge. Devices also have the longest longevity with removable consumer batteries and not proprietary hard to get lithium packs that don't work after years or expand and pillow out. Besides - that old dymo letratag unit i have? Even though the display no longer works after years of use- the AA batteries that are in it are the only ones I ever had in it meaning they last for many many many prints and cartridges!

I just used this app with the LetraTag 200B printer and it worked perfectly smoothly and provided about what I'd expected. It's slightly more advanced than my standalone LetraTag label maker, but not a lot. However, I didn't expect too much for $35 for the printer and it still uses the same labels as my original label maker. I may upgrade at some point in the future, but for now this meets my needs to create labels right from my phone. I use this primarily to identify and date my home canning, creating labels for file folders, and putting an ID on some things that belong to my kids. I have used the iron-on labels in the past, as well.

I love this thing! I was given a DYMO Letratag 100T at work and it just ok. It makes labels but having to put in punctuation or slash marks for dates is so time consuming and frustrating. I new there were label makers that had super easy to use apps and I’m am ecstatic that DYMO makes one. Woooo hooo! Seriously jumping for joy over here. The app doesn’t collect data, it’s user friendly and straight forward. My only gripe for the app is I wish I could set my own default settings for font size & style. Please keep improving the app! I don't want to keep changing the font size every time if I know medium is all I’m going to use; the default is XL.

I’ve been a huge fan of Dymo for years and I’ve always had their manual label maker, but having this app to easily type in everything I need and quickly get it printed is a game changer. It’s not only way easier to customize but just easier to print as many labels in as little time as possible! 10/10 would recommend. Per FTC guidelines, I must disclose that I have engaged in a paid partnership with DYMO, however this does not affect my honest review of the product.

I saw the very few reviews and almost did not continue down loading the app. My wife bought me this label maker for my birthday to use for tagging keys. If you are looking for a very simple and easy to use Label maker that you can use on the go and warms up in .35 seconds this is a good buy. If you are looking to create a beautiful artistically designed label to show off to your friends or customers this is probably not the one for you. For me it’s a 5star machine.

It’s good enough for certain designs, not for others. I could say that the frame and icon selection could be better, or expanded upon. What is there isn’t bad, just kinda bare bones in general with some food items, some other items. A train design, a gator design, and then some other basic borders. I would say, good but lacking in substance, or good, just not in variety. The fonts are good, I would say this app most likely has enough of those to be flexible enough. I hope there will be updates to make the app more immersive for people using this app.

So far I’ve only owned the LetraTag 200B for a couple days but I’ve already printed many labels. The main thing I like about this label maker and app is the fact that I don’t have to fidget with a million buttons to get what I want on my labels. I just use my phone to type and it’s much less frustrating. Also the fact that the labels are compatible with other models makes my upgrade even easier.

Really easy to navigate the app and design your labels. The app automatically connects via Bluetooth to your label maker, which is amazing so you don’t have to keep messing around with the connection. The app allows you to customize your labels in a lot of different ways: fonts, borders, icons, dates, and more. Great app and label maker! Really in love with the added font options, plus so many more fun icons, similar to my iPhone icon library! Also handy to copy/paste text from other places, I just copied my extra long network details from router & easily made a label so there are easier to read! I'm really pleased with latest update!

I will be returning this label maker. Was excited to use this to organize my new work area. Printed first label and increasing font size for my ease of reading just puts out an elongated, squished looking font. Quality of print is very bad, had to make letters in bold font just to get solid lines. Will be looking for another brand with phone based label printing to purchase. Too embarrassed to put these sorry looking labels in my work area. Would give minus stars if I could. VERY limited options for font formatting, expected more, printing from my phone.

I was almost certainly thinking this would require a login since nearly every app wants you to create some useless account these days. I was pleasantly surprised that it doesn’t, that just adds to the already great experience with the app connected label printer!

The lack of customization options in this app's interface is quite disappointing. Unlike Brother's cross-platform P-Touch Editor, where you can utilize custom graphics and fonts, this app falls short. If it offered more features, customization wouldn't be such a big issue. However, the limited options here only allow for basic labels. The border and font choices are subpar; the default font seems to be the only readable one, and the borders are so unappealing that I doubt I'll ever use them.

Organizing is much more better with a label maker. Labeling everything with a label maker helps me create a more peaceful and clutter free environment. This label maker and the app are one of the easiest to use. The Bluetooth automatically connects to the label maker when turned on. Easy and on the go labels is what I love.

I saw the Letratag 200b at a big box store and decided to give it a shot. I am surprised at how easy it was to get working with this app. No need for pairing, the app just finds it by searching nearby bluetooth and shoots out the label. No setup. No fuss. So much better than the label makers with all the little buttons! Well done Dymo!

The app is way easier than pushing the buttons on a traditional label maker. The annoying thing is the actual PRINT button. It doesn’t give you any response or indication that it’s been touched. You end up hitting it 10 times wondering if it even did anything. Other than that I really like this app.

No clue what others are saying. This app and the unit are fantastic. Easy to carry around, connects easy to my phone and does the job. I think this is the best Dymo printer ever. Yes, it takes a couple of minutes to figure out. BIG DEAL. Thank you Dymo, you got it right.

The thing claims I have a jam or that the tape is out. However, if I change the print job it magically works. Then, even that stopped working. I tried changing batteries, tried changing out the tape, turning off and on, opening and closing, removing the tape. Nothing worked. Then I tried installing an app update and it did one more print job and then never worked since. I think the problem is with the app, because it would work when I changed the print job (until it didn’t). I tried unscrewing the screws but it only revealed the chip board and there was no jam visible. So, I think the company has a built-in lifespan and when the item reaches it, this error message pops up so you have to buy a new one. It’s a scam.

Serviceable for what I need. But as another review pointed out, the larger fonts do not print out crisply, bit blurry. It's an average product at best. Also you're stuck using the apple keyboard, which lacks certain functionalities I value. I would like as with other apps to be able to ditch apples keyboard and use a better keyboard.

Over a month with support tickets, and still no fixes. Prints horribly stretched out with poor quality, doesn’t even reflect the appearance in the screen shot. Have to mark this as a buyer beware. Doesn’t work like you’d expect or as it should, and I don’t know how the developers haven’t came up with so much as a patch to resolve complaints which I see have been on going for months.

I bought this thinking it will be easier to print since I can type faster on my phone by oh boy I was so mistaken. The print quality is god awful and horrible and the Font don’t get me started. It’s so stretched out I compared it to my old one, and I like my old one better going to return the LabelMaker, and spend five extra dollars more to get the one that has a Qwerty keyboard

Perhaps I just want the basics out of a label maker so this fulfills my needs. Super easy to use. No pairing needed. App is no fuss and self explanatory. No complaints! Would recommend.

Instant gratification with my iPhone. App couldn't be simpler. Using your phone (you are already accustomed to it) coupled with Dymo's tape quality, and this printer's portability - AND the price! - make this a tremendous value.

I love that I can type into my phone and print using Bluetooth. I also love that you can print vertical labels and that there are options for colored labels.

While I read another review saying there are 5 font types, my app only offers 2. Both ugly, especially when printed—the lettering comes out all grainy, unlike the hand held version I had before. Not sure why this app couldn’t use the text editor functionality present in most app to provide a bit of flexibility!!

What a waste of money. Literally needed a label device last minute, saw this and thought how cool I can use it from my phone. I’m going to return this product because it crashes every time I try to print out a label. Why is this still being sold. This is a scam at this point. Please do not buy this product

It was working fine for the first day. Then it wasn’t printing what I was entering. It would print old labels from the previous day. Now the app crashes every time I click print. That pretty much makes this thing worthless. I uninstalled and reinstalled and no change.

I liked the idea of having this on my phone to quickly make new labels vs my handheld Dymo, but the App Crashes when trying to select an icon. Bought this to use for a job that needed arrows on the labels, and I can’t use it now. Please fix the app crash issue with icons, using iPhone 13 with most current iOS version.

Get with it Dymo. Hire more developers or something. The latest release makes me even more ticked when I use the 200B. I’ve been patiently waiting for 10 months to see you guys catch up with the newbies running circles around your iOS app and THAT is what you whoooing us with. Try again.

I was very much looking forward to a nice new Dymo label printer to use for all of our Netwerk and IT labeling, but this app makes the Dymo printers that depend upon them complete trash. I hope demo goes into overdrive to re-engineer this since it is entirely useless right now. the print outs look like squished garbage on the default label that comes with the 200B.

If the app developers would use the LetraTag QX50 for 10 minutes and create an app that does what it did, everyone would give this 5 star ratings. As it is it works but the entire setup is rather underwhelming.

I don’t know if I am just the only one but I can’t even use the app or device simply because as I want to put a icon on the printout. As soon as I click on icons the app crashes which leads me to start over with the same outcome. All honesty let me be able to fix the issue

I like that I can print labels from my phone. But hate that I’m stuck with the line spacing. Letters are spaced way to far out. Would like an option to tighten and widen line spacing between characters. A couple of font options would be nice also. DYMO make it happen I know you can! Thanks.

Horrible product, take forever to print a basic label because the printer does not stay connected to the phone more than 30 seconds. I will return it and get one with a keyboard i dont have time for this.

This has to be the worst label maker - I just received and was excited to use the Bluetooth and I thought I would be able to use my fonts from my phone but it won’t let you. with only 2 fonts to choose on the app this is a very poor label maker I’m returning asap.

I’ve printed several labels for my classroom, but have lots to go. I keep getting kicked from app with no print for an unknown reason. This is frustrating.

Stickers don’t stick, could be because a major retailer holds on to them too long, but that doesn’t explain why it stops printing after the third print saying the printer cartridge is empty or low on power, maybe modern batteries aren’t powerful enough.

I really wanted to like this the ease of using your phone to do the labels is great. But there is only 1 font. Very lame. And it doesn’t actually print that well. Not a crisp looking at all.

Ordered this product. Doesn’t work at all. Keeps saying that the label maker is jammed or out of paper. It’s not. This product is just a dud. I’ll be returning it but why in the world is this product still in stores with so many negative reviews?

I would love to see more fonts and customization options. Otherwise simple to use. I enjoy that it’s wire free.

Just bought the little portable Bluetooth printer only to realize the app constantly crashes. As soon as you hit print it’s an instant crash. Fresh out of the box and can’t even use it.

Was not able to connect to bluetooth, I try many ways but nothing. The app would also block access. I will be returning this machine.

Check out g, j, y, p and q. They looks terrible. I don’t see why it’s so hard to print nicely in the right scale and kerning.

I bought the blue tooth label maker only to realize that there are only two font options “Clevern” and “Roboto” it’s a nice step in the right direction but it’s not ready yet. Buy the actual label maker and keep it pushing

Horrible distortion of the font - stretches font out when choosing larger font size. Wish I had read these reviews first before buying. So disappointed.

Can’t even get the device connected to the Bluetooth after resetting, redownloading app three times. Frustrating. Returning.

Tried all 3 rolls of labels that came with it, and no prints. Connects fine, just says it has a printing problem. Too bad. Wanted to stick with Dymo, but not for this!

Bought this and was excited to use this for my sons school supplies. I will be returning this. It won’t work or print anything.

I’ve used the app quite a bit. Now it just crashes when I try to print a label.

I love the app. I can dictate labels. But boy do the fonts need work. This isn’t anywhere as good as my prior desktop model for font size, etc.
