Tried the app this morning at 7:30am May 13, 2024 and facial recognition gives me an Access Denied error now. Removed and reinstalled the app tried logging in without the facial ID with the same Access Denied. Went to the website and logged in just fine. This app is suppose to make life easier not more complicated. Please post on EFCU’s website if the App is down or if there are network issues for the App. If the App is not broke, stop fixing it! It was working just fine. Bugs, security concerns then fix it. This app stops working at the worst times!
I’ve been trying to link my Eglin FCU account to my other bank account so that I can move money between them, which I URGENTLY need to do today. Every attempt to link them has made me input my user name and login info to connect the accounts… it hasn’t worked. So, I finally reach out to Eglin FCU, and it turns out that they don’t collaborate with whatever company that 99% of banks use to link accounts. So, I have to manually add my account… great… I can do that… oh, it’s gonna take 1-3 business days to verify!! Using the other method would’ve been instant. Now, I can’t access the funds I need to fix my car and drive to work safely and I have to risk my life driving with faulty tires on the highway ALL BECAUSE I CAN’T ACCESS MY EGLIN FCU FUNDS to pay for the repairs.
The main problem. I’m frustrated with this new update is transferring from external banks into my account. I click what account to transfer from , then click the one I want to transfer into and the transfer from source changes and the transfer to changes also. Fix this please because I really doing want to have to log into the website from a computer to make my transfers.
This apps take too long to unlock/lock my bank cards. I have to go thru Card Control, it transfers me to EGLIN FCU. It would be nice to go directly to EGLIN FCU, hit the Service Button, pick your account then unlock/lock card. It’s not a quick service when you’re trying to purchase something in person. I was ‘denied’ several times when using my card at the cashier….finally the payment goes thru. Is there another way to unlock/lock cards, quicker?
The new app is down more than it is up and running. Once again I tried to log in today and there’s a processing error! I use my phone apps for just about everything and this new update from Eglin is a major pain! Why the feature to be able to look at your balance quickly was removed is beyond me and though I need to check my balance periodically throughout the day, most of the time I cannot because the app isn’t working! Frustrating!!
It’s difficult to read on your phone with the new update, with all the different sections and everything. I just tried checking my balance this morning with the new update on my phone. I don’t understand why it needed to be changed or updated. The new version is really difficult to navigate especially if you’re on your phone which I am on more than a computer. That is my opinion.
I like the bank, however; their app needs a serious overhaul. The credit check part I do like, but the rest of it is non-intuitive and lacks ease of use and flow. I’d recommend they re-develop the app and take a look at the online banking that companies like Wells Fargo have with their streamlined nature of the app.
So since new update , I can no longer login as PIN button on splash screen doesn’t work Update: I was able to uninstall and reinstall and have been able to bypass pin with Face ID. Other than that I have had no issues with app, it’s convenient and fairly easy to use.
I hate the new app. It’s confusing where to type the amount when making a transfer. I can’t see due dates. You can’t see balance changes when looking at charges. The previous version was simple, but at least it was easy to see all the info I needed. I’ve since switched to using another bank for majority of my finances due to frustrations with the app.
On Home Screen, I can no longer see balances and due dates all on one screen. Also I love how the app lets me do external transfers from my other bank but now it is harder to find. The biggest issue is to make the Home Screen more informative like it used to be
This new upgrade really went down hill. If you look at checks written it will not tell you who the check was written to and if you click on the check number there are no longer any images of the checks written. I will click one star because I have to click a star otherwise it would be no stars.
with the new update my transfers never work and it barely ever lets me log in. one time i transferred money and it said it was approved and then i logged in a day later and the money transferred was not in my account so i had to do it again.
As soon as the app updated to a pin log in, it stopped working. It won’t let me type in the pin at all. No matter what I hit nothing picks up. Now I just go to safari to log in. But I used the app almost every day before and now can’t use it at all. How do I fix this or go back to the older version?
Was using the app just fine for quite awhile. Then one day unable to log in due to an access denied error. I’m using my proper credentials. Thankfully the CardControls app still works for me. I’m disappointed with the lack of quality in service here. I should not be having problems accessing the main app as a member.
The initial page to input your pin does not allow you to even type the pin and access your account. Based on the other reviews obviously this is still an issue and you should contact your developers rather than request users contact you.
There was nothing wrong with the app before it was completely changed. The new update is TERRIBLE. It makes it feel less like I am trying to navigate my finances and more like a game plus it is very glitchy and at the moment pretty much useless. Very disappointed.
What happened to the fingerprint access??? First you didn’t have it, then you did, now you don’t. What gives??? I liked the old version of the app so much better.
While I agree it was time for a more modern looking app, (Assuming they would just mimic other sharp looking banking apps) this one is not good. May want to revert back to the version prior the latest review until a decent upgrade can be made.
What is the point of having an app if it’s going to crash so much you can barely use it. (Watch the developers not copy and paste the same exact response they send to everyone yet nothings been fixed)
App is extremely worthless. I have no External Account Tab in the service option! How am I gonna pay my car note if I can’t send money from my main bank account. Please fix this issue. I don’t live near an Eglin main bank. Very unless app😡😡😡
This app would be great if you could even login half the time, most of the time you can’t login because of a “network error” and I have no access to my funds unless I go to the physical bank
This app is horrible. I am always getting locked out or says my account has been disabled. I don’t remember what I put for the security question of ‘what was my dream job as a child’. I don’t even remember filling that out, it’s been so long!
The app will not let me login anymore keeps asking me my security questions. I answer them, and it still tells me to try again over and over. It will not let me login.
The old app was much easier to navigate. Using the new app, I had to figure out the new layout and I was worried about transferring into the wrong account. Expanding each transaction also is a pain.
the new update does not work as it does not allow you to enter your pin to gain access to your account. pretty bad customer service with this one-total failure EglinFCU!
The previous app was much easier to navigate. Previously, commonly used selections were right on home page without having to look around in order to do what you most often needed. Balances and deposit page is very busy. When using an app, most people are looking for simple and functional, if extreme detail is needed we can go to website or paper statements. It is also more confusing and difficult to make mobile deposits. Old app was better!
The new app is very hard to read and difficult to navigate. the old app wasn’t perfect, but it was very functional. I could navigate between accounts very easily and finding everything was intuitive. In the new app, even something as simple as looking at transactions is very clunky. I tried to look at a credit from a few days ago and it was like navigating a sea of text - just 2 transactions take up the entire screen and you have to scroll to see more. It seems like they were trying to make it look like a desktop website but that format is not the best for phones at all. They claim the new app has Touch ID login, but I have yet to find where to activate this. I even send a feedback email from the website to complain, but only was given a reply of pretty much copy/paste what the Description from the App Store rather than any meaningful reply to my complaints. I’m very disappointed that this is the new app I have to deal with...I’d almost rather just use Safari & check my accounts on the website.
This app is so user-friendly it’s ridiculous! I have been with egg one for a long time and I hated the app that they had before. It would look at my account every time I used it! But this new app is the bomb. You can reset your password on it and it will give you a temporary password right there. None of this having to have a temporary password email to you and going through all this back-and-forth stuff. This is the best banking app I have ever seen! Two thumbs up Eglin! You got it right this time!
Sorry I had to put that as the title; but from my personal experience and the current reviews. If I was the developer I would make haste in updating this App, I get the same thing unavailable during none working hours, which is ridiculous. I would prefer you not give the same automated response to all the others and just fix the App. It amazes me as competition increases people leave your institution for an App issue. Developers take heed I pray you make it right, we should be able to access this 24/7 except for scheduled maintenance. Don’t respond just fix the issue.
I would give zero stars if I could, this financial institution has not only compromised my personal information but has not been willing I work with myself and other clients in this pandemic. I paid for a safe-net that I apparently didn’t even qualify for and they also didn’t explain to me everything that I was paying for after asking number ours questions for clarification, I was ignored. Their predatory loan tactics are disgusting, and it has been proven that your personal information is not safe here, and your privacy is not respected. USE EXTREME CAUTION IF CONSIDERED USING THIS FINANCIAL CONSTITUTION! IVE NEVER SWITCHED TO NAVY FEDERAL SO FAST IN MY LIFE! BEWARE!!!
If you have problems with this app, you should just stay away from all technology. This is super user-friendly, and I love that you can transfer between member accounts now, instead of only being able to from the website.
