Great to Have Real Truth

I’ve been a subscriber to The Epoch Times newspapers for two years. I’ve kept all the “Opinion” sections plus the two complementary copies I got in 2020. My wife calls it “ my coloring paper” due to my using my yellow highlighter pens and, sometimes a pen, to highlight the stories main points with emphasis. I figure, and have for a very long time (many decades in fact) have done this highlighting for reference usage and passing on my books, magazines, newspapers, etc. to others for “good guidance” I call it. And, you ought to see my collection! I feel a lot like a publishing editor, more or less! The great thing about The Epoch Times is their truth reporting. To me, it’s a “safe media outlet” in print and visual media form that I feel at home with…call it “good guidance love” for survival in God’s Universe of purpose. More Coverage of what is really driving people from the Golden State

It is regulations and subsidizing for dependency that causes individuals wanting to help to be cautious. There are solutions through private partnerships to help the homeless and accountability offers success. Having volunteered and work with population for over 30 years with no state, county or federal funding I have witnessed amazing success and life changing dreams come true by being available to walk with women and children. Private models can change the landscape of the needs of those wanting help. Drugs and mental health needs are a serious issue for most all of the over 4,000 women we have offered services to over the years but someone needs to be their cheerleader. Keep your stories out in the public domain it help change the landscape or more will be “Leaving California “

Finally, an ACTUAL news source

Support Epoch Times! An ACTUAL news source that isn’t just peddling the Democrats propaganda. I lean more libertarian but I do find myself seeing more honest actors on the Right these days, though you would never hear that voice listening to CBS, NBC, ABC, or others… AND for Fox News they spurs on more contentious conversations… kind of the Rights version of MSNBC… The Epoch Times deliver a less contentious honest look at the news without spurring immediate indignation from the viewer. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the content. I really think that The Epoch Times will be riding the next cultural movement in America… a movement of people who seek Truth.. . And perhaps a return to honoring the wisdom found in past traditions.

Disappointed

I was excited to download this on my roku (mind you just a bought a new one, because they said it had to be 3rd gen or later) only to find out I still can only see “free Epoch tv.” There is NO login for you to input your subscription information in for Epoch TV on roku (so definitely misleading). I spent money replacing a gen 2 roku just to see the same crap.. Also, check my t.v in my room with a 4k Sony t.v (mind you Epoch said you could download the app on Sony tv’s, only to see “free epoch” again with NO LOG IN). So I go to the website and log in to watch shows and realize I can NOT air play to my t.v. Smdh.. So THEN I download app only to see a dinky screen to watch stuff on and airplay through Epoch T.V app through Apple.. Super disappointed when you’re paying 9.99 a month for a hassle. Get it together Epoch, and get some updates going. Get with the streaming times.

Tech glitch with Auto Lock on iPad

Love the app and the content. But have a technical issue that needs some resolution: Background - using Epoch TV on a iPad whch is sending the content to our LG Smart TV using embedded Apple Airplay. Issue - when the iPad goes dark during auto-lock, the Epoch TV app stops streaming the content to the TV. The only apparent “fix” is to disable completely the auto-lock on the iPad BEFORE watching Epoch TV via Airplay - ?? Is that correct - ? It would be nice if Epoch TV would continue to stream in the background via Airplay once started, much like many music and radio stations do on the iPad currently. Thanks much!

Watching content cumbersome

Content is great, but I am rating the app itself here. I really want to support epoch so honest feedback is needed to make improvements. First, you really should be able to access and watch all content from the app. Second, you shouldn’t have to pay extra for movies if you already have a subscription. Third, the navigation needs some improvement. I would suggest looking at how other streaming apps are set up bc there are too many glitches to list here. One big frustration is that when u watch a movie on your phone from safari (bc u can’t watch from app) the screen doesn’t flip to expand, so u r watching a tiny vertical screen. Or, when u leave the website and come back to it there is no way to view recents, and no “continue watching” section. History isn’t saved from what I can find.

App needs work to continue use

Content is very interesting. Reporters bring great information. The application needs extensive work in my opinion. The application does not flow across iPhone to iPad. The application does not smoothly allow the video to come into large view when turning the device to the side. It is difficult to search and find videos or specific topics. Does not keep place when viewing a video then leaving the app then coming back. Especially with news or documentaries. I’m want to watch something then return later and an area that see you have viewed then says on that item continue viewing. On the iPad it looks like a small mobile phone view. I want a full view on the iPad as I enjoy plugging into a tv

Love the Content, HATE the app

I have supported Epoch TV from its inception, but I’ve never watched it because it has so many problems. From the sound not being loud Enid to hear from episodes not playing to not being able to search for episodes to not being able to listen with the screen of, etc etc. In fact, I’m writing this recipe, the words I’m typing aren’t even visible, so I have no idea what’s actually being typed. It’s just a blank screen. Typical. I’ve come to expect no less. This app is the worst piece of crap I’ve ever seen.

Love the app but

The app is pretty good but frequently it seems to think I’ve left the site and I have to re-login. Very frustrating! Another issue is when I have one of their programs on I cannot simply exit. It’s nearly impossible to get a ‘back’ or exit button to show up do you can look for something else! Other than that : excellent content all around. It’s so nice to read, see and hear from the ‘side’ that I identify with. You get enough left wing ideology no matter which other media you watch no matter if it’s comedy, drama, sci-fi, etc. We are so grateful when we find news, art, entertainment that doesn’t try indoctrinate us and Epoch fits the bill!

Good content, if only I could find it…

Like so many other “conservative” or “Christian” services, the navigation is horrendous, the search tool is useless on the iOS app and completely absent on the Apple TV app, there is no categories to browse through. It was confusing from the start to find my way around. I will say I love the content, but I will not keep my subscription because it just is so frustrating to navigate, and without a search tool that one can actually get results from, what is the point. I spend as much time looking for content as I do watching the content. No thank you. I will look again later when the service matures a bit and becomes something more navigable.

EPOCH times is one of the best places to get the full story

The EPOCH times checks the facts before releasing news articles or investigations. Everything has been fact checked. Despite what you may hear, they are actually non-biased. Please look at the news articles and see for yourself. It has come along way from its humble beginnings. Epoch times reminds me of how newspapers used to be in the past. Telling the story after fact checking everything and being unbiased . Just remember they were the first to tell the public about Wuhan and how it could’ve been the source of the outbreak for coronavirus. They showed facts they had to support it. As it turns out , in 2020 US Congress had a similar report from its own sources saying that the coronavirus most likely originated from leak from Wuhan but never said anything about it.

Best source of news ever

My favorite show is facts matter with Roman Balmokov. He has a wonderful way of presenting the news. He makes it interesting and positive and also love the way he dresses! American thought leaders is also my favorite and is a great intellectual news station that brings honest news often scientific which I love because I’m in the medical profession. Jan asks the most intriguing questions. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to regular new stations on TV. Thank you epoch times for your hard work.

Trust in news restored with Epoch Times

The Epoch Times provides sources. If the commentator or journalist gives opinion, he or she indicates so. The topics are relevant and their coverage is thorough. I’ve seen coverage I haven’t seen elsewhere, such as the enormous scope of human trafficking in the US on American Thought Leaders. Facts Matter and Crossroads are two more of my favorite shows for the fact that I trust their coverage of timely and relevant topics that matter.

No iPad Support

I think the idea for this app is great, and I like the Apple TV app quite a bit, though, I’d say that it could use some added functionality, such as search and browsing by category. But the fact that the mobile app isn’t supported by an iPad seems a bit silly to me. Besides a smart TV or desktop computer, iPad seems the next best screen to watch on. This app has so much potential with just a bit more work! Thanks for all the great news though! I will stay subscribed as long as you keep delivering unbiased coverage on current events!

Sobering

Excellent…. eye-opening documentary of the twisted jargon that is used both in families and the individuals who believe there’s something wrong with them that needs to be changed. NOTE: I just couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get it to open up in full screen on my ipad. It was actually about the size of a 3 x 5 card.

EpochTV all stars

Not to ignore anyone else at ET, but Kash Patel, Jan Jekielek and Beau Davidson produce some of the best content I have seen anywhere on the Internet which regard to regular audio/video interviews or shows. American thought leaders interviews are worth the price of admission alone. Still waiting for a shout out from Kash but I guess I have to earn that one lol.

Bad App for iPhone.

I love the content of Epoch TV, but the app is abysmal, or at the very least it doesn’t work well with an iPhone 13. Sad to say that, but I the search function doesn’t work, and it freezes frequently while watching programs. I am giving it 3 stars because I love Epoch Times, and EpochTV does have good content. But, the app doesn’t work on my iPhone and is only worth one star.

EPOCH has single-handedly elevated the quality of print & electronic news media reporting to historic credibility levels. My wife and I ditched satellite/cable in 2009 but we gladly pay our EPOCH subscription to satisfy a voracious need to know. We get the weekly paper, online access and now TV.

What has happened to everyone? Roman is gone, all Josh talks about is China now. Everything I click on is weeks and months old? I subscribed a couple years back and was hooked. But everything seems to change every couple of weeks. Moving show times, subjects and people around. So I unsubscribed and just came back to see if it has got any better but it seems to have gotten worse. Roman and Josh was your bread and butter but now it’s very disappointing me.

Awesome Journalism

I love the documentaries. So much hidden truths that no one talks about. The medical section is educational and Covid19 lies or data of the truth are revealed in these segments. Awesome job EpochTV! I also live how they have the old shows and cartoons. These won’t get canceled here!

Worth it

The app has some glitches on my iPhone, but this company sticks to the basics, speed facts let them decide. That being said the five stars is for Epoch Times not entirely for the app alone.

Ive subscribed to numerous news that basically let me down Except OAN, but i can watch that on my firestick. Can i watch my EPOCHTV using my tv and firestick yet?! Say yet because you just HAVE TO ! WHOA ! I can play EPOCH VIA IPHONE TO my Firetv !! Awesome, im so happy.

Excellent content, bad app

When I search for anything, it gives no results and I can’t effectively click on anything in the settings. I’m on an iPhone 11. The content is really good, but having to scan through the main page to find what I’m looking for is 👎🏼

Content is excellent but app needs work.

I completely recommend this app, but as of now it’s unavailable on my firestick, it won’t save watching progress, and I have search everything from scratch if my phone goes black for an instant.

I cannot interface thru login with ANYTHING rooted in Epoch.

No app nor subscription I’ve ever had with Epoch has ever been accessible by a login. This app is yet another example of my issues with Epoch. Love the people, love their produced content, but I just can’t establish a lasting electronic relationship with them. It really makes me sad.
