I like the collection and stat tracking on the app but I dislike how not everything is displayed inside the app. Like I know there are dark souls FiGPiN that I eventually want to get, but I cannot find them by doing a searching for their specific names or even by searching “dark souls”. And I know that there are plenty of other pins that I cannot just look at in the app as well.
For its intended purposes, this app does what it needs to. I get to carry my whole collection with me in my pocket. Using the serial number on the back of the pin to adopt to my collection is fun and seeing one’s pin stats is my favorite part. I would probably give this app a 4 star review, but given that I’ve seen it grow and get better and better all the time, I feel it’s fair to give it the 5 stars because we’ve only scratched the surface as far as what this app can do! Keep up the awesome work.
Other than serving as a personal database for your pins there isn’t much to do with the app. And while the app does store your pins, good luck trying to have the app show them all at once. The shelves always show a portion of the pins allocated to them most of the time. In most cases it is necessary to delete and reinstall the app to be able to view all the pins stored in any given shelf before losing the ability again. The app also lacks any sort of social functionality as you cannot be looked up by anyone. I am never able to look anyone up, and no one has ever been able to look me up. It’s a good thing the app is not a selling point for the pins.
I’ve been using the app for over 3 years now and I love how FiGPiN has been making improvements to the app over time. I love how I can keep track of my collection digitally and with the first ultra released, was able to buy it thanks to the pins in my collection, which makes collecting worth it and rewarding. Looking forward to the future ultras that will be released!
Love being able to have my whole collection in the palm of my hand. Also makes figuring out which ones are missing in my collection easier. Because of the app an amazing community has been created where I’ve met some of my best friends!
App could be more intuitive and organized. Even explanations of things could be better. Looking forward to battles and more. Keep it up. Have no clue what verification is or does and changing avatar does not work.
I loved it, when it worked. But I tried logging in, and it told me my credentials were invalid. I tried getting a temporary password, but it said that there was an error doing so. I restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, but same thing. I tried remaking my account, but it said the email was in use. I tried every single password I use, but none of them let me in.
This latest update has made this a whole new app! The team did a great job of listening to the constructive criticism from the community and found a way to make everyone happy and help the app run way smoother. Good job Figpin team!
Won’t let me log in, gets stuck trying to load and becomes unresponsive, keeps saying there’s a connection error even though I’ve checked my network and deleted and reinstalled the app, same problems. Until a new update or hot fix is pushed through this app is completely useless
I love the app the only issue I’ve found is when I try to look up myself on the leaderboards my name won’t come up in the search results or even my pins. I shared this with the community on discord and they also noticed the same problem. I hope the mods can get this fixed soon
Verification process needs to be fixed. I have an iPhone 13 Pro and it won’t even allow me to give the app access to my camera for the verification video. Please push out a new update soon. 🙏🏼
I loved the app up until it stopped working, I tried logging in and it wouldn't let me, I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app but no cookie. When I go to the power section it freezes and I have to keep restarting it to try and get it to work.
Can’t even register to make an account. It lets me get to the screen to make an account but as soon as I select a check box, the whole screen shifts up and all I can select is the “create account” button which won’t work anymore. Really disappointing
Tried multiple times to release but won’t work. The app is great for having your collection but it’s buggy. Logged off and back in but no solution. I don’t wanna sell my pins if it’s still attached to my collection.
I really like the app for a while but then they added the chases for the pins and when I go to check it says that I haven’t gotten it up til the next week I go to check and it says that the coupon is expired when I didn’t have one in the first place
I am trying to add my collection and I cannot add my collection. This app is very confusing and I’m not a stupid person. So better directions would be great better easier way to add my pins not just hearting pins that I want actually adding the collection that I have
Password didn’t work so completed forgot password procedures and app didn’t recognize the password it sent. Then the app would crash and have to be reloaded. The app is not worth me spending any more time trying to buy overpriced collectibles
I would give a rating, if I could use app. The won’t open it stays on title and that’s it. I thought it needed time to process, but 10-20 minutes later, nothing.
Need to be able to sort my collection without needing to scroll through hole collection to see if I have it. Also can’t delete from dream collection once I have it. Should delete once you have it. Plus you should make so we can see if we have a pin when looking at the main page. Let’s make this a five star app 😜 My Disney figpin logo show as a blank box in the app when I adopted it into my collection. NICE UPDATE BUT STILL DOESN'T LET YOU SEARCH YOUR COLLECTION. WOULD BE NICE IF YOU COULD SEARCH YOUR COLLECTION BY PIN NUMBER.
Ive been collecting for quiet a few years now, FiGPiN for the past year. this app allows you to take your collection with you, can also boost your favorite pins to make them more powerful! I've really enjoyed this experience and am excited to see what the future holds!
The concept and potential are there, but this app takes one step forward and two steps back with every update. It’s the most time consuming and frustrating app that I use. Unlock days are rage inducing, and having to log in over and over is just wrong. The prospect of an ultra has my attention still...3 years later...even though it seems really easy to buy..... however I don’t see myself sticking around if the app and customer support don’t take a huge step forward.
Personally, I love the app! There is a lot of things coming and that makes me excited to see what else there will be. In fact, I have many FiGPiN’s and didn’t even realize there was an app until I got a collectors box. There are to many to add but I’m extremely happy!
It’s a great app, I really like the way it displays my collection. And you can actually buy some harder to find FiGPiN’s on the app itself (sure it’s a little more expensive, but some of these I really cannot find anywhere else)! But you have to log in every single time you open the app. If it weren’t for that, this app would be perfect for collectors like me!
I love this app it’s completely change the way I think about collecting stuff . I wish I could have a version of this for all my different collectibles. I love this app so much I wish I could have its babies !!
While I love this apps unique collecting abilities and inner workings I just want to say it could be better. In one way specifically. I have to sign in literally every single time. Like I get if it’s a website, but it’s an app... maybe add a feature to stay signed in? Or quick sign in? Otherwise it’s great!
I have used this app to keep track of my collection, but unfortunately I recently opened it and now it just opens to the black “figpin” splash screen and doesn’t do anything more. Hope this gets fixed so I can continue adding to my collection.
The pins themselves are excellent, detailed, quality metal pins. The supporting app however, is a completely different story. Full of bugs and constantly plagued by crashing, problems connecting to the server, always logging you out, or a white blank screen after seconds within the app. Guys c’mon, y’all have the vision and the material. Get someone to execute a great supporting app.
The app technically works, but it is so inconvenient that I get logged out every time I close out the app and have to login again to get any functionality out of the app. I’m big on figpins right now, but I can’t give the app more than 2 stars until it allows me to stay logged in after closing out.
I am very unhappy with how this app has turned out. It was working fine until a limited pin unlock day and then it kept crashing when only a few thousand people were unlocking their pins making it unfair to us whose app crashed for no reason
This app is terrible, it glitches and lags every time i try to unlock a pin, everytime i set an alarm and wake up to unlock it glitches, EVERYTIME, as a matter of fact im still tryin to unlock hawks, for the last 16 mins and its been lagging so much i have time to write a review, im thoroughly upset due to the fact value on these pins is correlated to when you unlock, this has got to be the worst app for collectors ever
This company has lost its ways, I’ve never seen a company get worse year after year. This company caters to flippers aka Chasers. The app just kills the hobby.
Everytime I try to make an account I go to hit the box for the terms of service and it just pulls up a arrow and says sign in I go to press it and it doesn’t do anything
Ever since I moved to iOS 13 my app has been down ! Need help to fix ! I reset my phone and re-downloaded the app and still nothing . Been down for a week and some days now
Was working fine , keeping track of my figpins. Did update to latest ios13 and now only opens to splash screen. Have uninstalled/ reinstalled still no luck. Please help asap
