I have been with Fire Fighters First Credit Union for 40 years. Wow, that ages me. They have always had excellent service. I mostly use the online banking which is easy to use. Their loan rates are lower than anybody else’s and their savings rates are higher. You can’t beat that. In the 40 years I have been with them, I have never had even 1 issue. I highly recommend using Fire Fighters First Credit Union. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.
My wife and I have had a few banks over the years. I have to say, this bank gets it. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. The customer service is second to none. They have customer service like streamlight. And if anyone knows that company, their is no other company’s like it. They will answer questions quickly, it’s a west coast based bank. I live on the east coast. I have more ATM choices with them than I do with local banks. The app is great it just works. Good job
It would be nice to have an option in my notifications to be notified anytime there is a withdrawal from my account. For example, I have the options to be notified when there is a transaction at a gas station, or a withdrawal over a certain amount, etc. My other bank account gives me these options. It is nice to know anytime my card is used. It helps me keep track of any possible identification theft.
The app works well for most transactions, but Bill Pay does not have a history, and the last paid for a payee does not show the correct information after a new bill is paid. I received an email showing that I paid a bill, but the app still showed my previous paid date. It would be nice to see your most recent payments when you click on the bill pay icon.
More than once now I sent a bill out on bill pay, I sent it out at the end of the month to get to receiving company and it did not get there till the 14th of the month. I was charged a late fee. I don’t feel that is right that I should have to pay the late fee.
We have been with FFF for about 10 years now, and I am absolutely delighted with the service, the safety of our funds and accessibility either two offices or especially online. Absolutely top drawer credit union.
Does everything I need it to do from finding local service locations or online bill pay to checking all of my accounts . Glad I have this convenient way to also deposit my checks on the spot!
Firefighters First app is very intuitive and user friendly! The app matches the level of service I have come to expect from the credit union as a whole. Outstanding job Firefighters First!
This is hands down the best bank I’ve ever used. All the staff are extremely personable and always remember there customers. The services are all easy to use with helpful staff to guide you in the right direction. I’m a lifetime customer with FFCU.
Can you please fix the issue with trying to deposit checks. I can’t seem to take a good enough picture and it won’t go through, so now i have to drive 30mis to deposit it

Needs major updates. More to do on the app would be nice instead of having to login to the website. Please do the updates at night instead of during the day when people need their bank info. So frustrating.
This app has allowed us to live and work in a different state from where Firefighters First Credit Union is located. We don’t have to go to a share branch, we can take care of our banking needs anytime, anywhere.
Every encounter I’ve had with this credit union via phone, in person at branch or email has had superb customer service. We love our Firefighters first credit union
I’m leaving out of California now and I have to do everything remotely and it seems to be no problem. Fire Fighter credit union is awesome. The help of the call taker is great.
Love the app easy to navigate, it’s worth 5 stars but the email contact us is flawed takes to much time for a response from our fffcu staff to get back to us.
I keep trying to deposit a check using the iOS app however, the app keeps crashing when I get to the part where I have to take a photo of the front of the check. I’ve never had this happen before this week and I’ve been using mobile deposit in this app for months.
Mobile check deposit photo through app is horrible using iPhone or iPad. It used to work flawless. Now you have to retake pics over and over. The auto capture is worthless. Centering the check with the app never works.
Better than the other trash banks! Helps me locate not only the nearest bank but the nearest ATM. They are always so polite when you shoot them a phone call. App opens up SUPER quick with Face ID which I’m loving so much! Quick and easy to transfer! Can’t have this bank without having the app!
I can’t do external transfers on this app. It’s like they only want to keep their money in their system. This is a big problem for me because I always need to use a desktop to complete these requests and even then the system is spotty.
