The machine is amazing. We really love it. The app functionality is lacking. One example is when editing a bottle in the app, I made my adjustments but the screen scrolling is locked for some reason and I am unable to scroll down to accept the changes I just made. I have read others having issues when changing settings or formula as well.
We really like this gadget! Fortunately, so far, the problems others have described with connecting to Wi-Fi and the machine and the errors have NOT occurred. This is actually a rather nice tool as part of our baby repertoire, especially when baby is starting to stir for a meal at night. We don’t have to wake up the whole neighborhood trying to get a bottle made, then warmed (which feels like it takes forever when there’s an upset baby). Lots of potential for this product app: I wish there was a way to track bottle history and volumes. I see from the reviews that someone asked for it two years ago too so not sure if the message was seen by developer. Please add bottle history- times and volumes!! Next version might benefit from a water meter too- warning system that the next bottle will finish the water in the tank. App reminders/ count down that the next bottle will result in you needing to clean the machine. Useful things to not have to deal with, again, when your baby is crying in the middle of the night which is the whole point of the product.
I love my brezza, but I don’t have the one that connects to WiFi. Which is perfectly okay because it’s super handy, especially when given as a gift! I’m just having a hard time contacting someone regarding the formula setting. With the formula shortages we have started buying store brand (Up & Up - Target Brand) and the formula setting tells me 6, but it doesn’t properly dispense the water to powder ratio, so the bottle have been coming out clumpy 😢. I’m not sure how to adjust it so that it does dispense the formula correctly. Please change the option from “store brand” to the actual brand the store Carrie’s, as it is not dispensing the formula correctly. Please add all of the formula options with the correct powder setting so that I can continue to use my brezza. Thank you so much 😊
For starters, I have no problems with the app or using it. The Brezza Pro has been a god send for our new born and her Galactus level hunger needs. Having the ability to just push a button and make a bottle has been fantastic. I have a wishlist item though - it would be epic if the app kept track of when a bottle was made. Either a log that shows the last time it was used, or just a little info graphic on the apps Home Screen that’s only the last bottle - it would help two new, sleep deprived, parents keep track and make sure we’re not feeding too frequently. All in all, if you can use tech and understand that it’s not as precise as weighing the formula per bottle, it’s a fantastic machine with a useful app.
I was frustrated when I first downloaded the app because of all the negative reviews. If I would have looked at the app reviews before buying the machine, I would have probably bought the non-WiFi version of the Baby Breeza, but after using it for a couple weeks, I’m glad I didn’t know! The app has worked great for us so far. I’m able to make a bottle half asleep from my phone in the middle of the night to have it ready for me when I get out of bed. It’s very quick and works exactly as advertised - in my opinion. The only recommendation I have for the app is to have a tracking feature. It would be great to know when I gave my baby their last bottle, because my tired brain sometimes has a hard time remembering, and I’m just not going to spend the time tracking it in a separate app. Being able to just check this app would make it quick and easy to see how much I’ve given my baby and how frequently. In an ideal world, it might help help find trends in my baby’s eating habits that I just don’t have the mental capacity to figure out completely on my own. Just a humble suggestion. :)
It’s really not an awful app. It works well and I can make bottles from bed and go get it in the kitchen on the way to the baby’s room. It’s really a fantastic idea. The machine it’s self is a 5 star product. The app needs work and attention. We are thinking about switching formula so we will need to set up a new formula powder setting. The app keeps crashing when I try to add a new powder setting when I am scrolling to “United States” so I cannot add it. I don’t know what i’m going to do about it as I have even delayed the app and redownload it and it did not fix the issue. My husband has a Samsung, maybe I’ll see if it works on his app. If not, how am I supposed to switch?
The wifi feature is instant and easy to use. Works flawlessly. I have verizon which required it to be on the IOT connection to work. Which may be why others have had such problems in their reviews. The machine works great with the app. Some suggestions for the app. -use camera to scan formula levels after filling - a refresh button for notifications that pop up such as no bottle, refill water, or clean funnel. You need to kill the app and go back in to update it as of now.
Great in theory but sometimes the app randomly says the machine isn't connected. And of course this always seems to happen at the most inopportune times like the middle of the night. There should be a way to easily refresh the app to try to find the machine again (because literally nothing has changed from when I last opened the app) but instead it only gives you the options to reconnect it like you did at the very beginning (and at that point you are already at the machine and running it manually because you have a crying baby).
Typically when one invests the kind of money this product cost, there is the expectation of saving time and that the product is accurate. This isn’t either if those. I was aware of the negative reviews, but more often than not, I have found those reviews to be based in user error. As to the app, its clunky and glitchy, much room for improvement. As for the formula pro, each of the tests I ran to test for accuracy involved having the machine dispense only water were off by more than 25%. This would have resulted in the formula being too watery. Folks, you’re formula mix cannot be off by this much. The machine will be returned. Please save your money. This just isn’t worth it.
I can’t imagine life without this smart machine. We can just push a button in the app to make a perfectly mixed bottle for our baby. The bottle is done by the time we get to the kitchen. It’s a lifesaver. The app is easy to set up and use plus you can save five different bottle configurations — we’ve got a morning bottle, evening bottle, water only bottle. The Formula Pro is definitely a must have esp if you don’t want to wait to hand mix and wait for a bottle to warm up esp when your is hangry!
Two problems: 1) cannot start bottle dispensing from app 2) formula database is not up to date in app (doesn’t match the website) Being able to start a bottle from the app is basic functionality that is expected from the Wi-Fi model. Fix this— I didn’t pay extra nothing. Update your formula database in the app to match your database on your website. I was unable to find my formula (Baby’s Only Organic NEW) from the app and had to go to the website which had different settings and then find another formula to match the powder setting. I understand you’re trying to make it fool proof but that means that you need to keep your database updated both online and on the app. Alternatively, consider allowing a manual option to change the formula setting on the app. I understand that there is a concern that some people might mess this up but that’s their own problem if they don’t read the instructions and key in the wrong powder setting.
PLEASE ADD A USAGE HISTORY!!! The app interface as great, it super user friendly and looks professional but I would be overjoyed to have easy access to see the time the last bottle was made and how many ounces it was. As a new mom you are CONSTANTLY having to keep your child’s last meal time fresh in your mind, the mental lad is HEAVY. This would take some weight off. Go one step further and add a way to note how much the baby drank from that bottle made.
My husband and I decided to pay the extra for the WiFi version. I got it all set up with the app.. but I can’t make bottles via the app because it’s saying the water needs to be refilled even though the water tank is already full. I tried unplugging the unit and plugging it back in, and it didn’t work. I also tried to wipe down the area where the water tank goes to make sure nothing was interfering with sensors or anything like that, and that didn’t work. I emailed babybrezza about the issue a few days ago, and I still haven’t received a response. It really would have been nice to be able to make the bottles via app in the middle of the night so that way it could be prepared and be ready by the time I’m finished changing my babies diaper. Babybrezza, please resolve this issue. I didn’t spend extra money just to have an unusable app sit on my phone.
There are so many glitches with this app. Every time I make a bottle, it stays on the loading screen until I am forced to exit out of the app. Does not process water refills either. There can be so much more from this app, like telling you the amount of bottles made (so you know how many are left before you have to change the funnel), a history of bottles made, etc. Wish we hadn’t bought the WiFi version if I knew the app functionality sucked. Waiting on another baby company to come in and dominate babybrezza.

It does not work well (as you would expect from a machine of this hype/price) but it eventually functions if you’re willing to sit there and experiment with combinations. For example, despite being in its database it would not operate with Kendamil and gave no indication why when I pressed start and nothing happened. I found a Nestllé formula with the same powder setting, used all the other same settings (water temp,etc.) and it now worked perfectly. In addition the WiFi did not connect the 1st day but did flawlessly on day 2. Lastly there are many subtle poor UI decisions that when combined with the other issues show an overall lack of testing/quality.
Like so many others have said, I paid the extra money for the Wi-Fi version. I loved the idea of being able to make a bottle while still changing my LO, to have the bottle ready - because let’s face it - those extra 5 seconds matter in the middle of the night! I’ve had my Pro Advanced for about 3.5 months and the app worked just fine, until this week. Now it tells me that the water needs to be refilled and that notice won’t go away no matter what I try. I can’t make a bottle from the app because of that notice, which means I paid extra money for nothing. I’ve reached out to customer service twice and still don’t have a resolution. Don’t waste your money on the Wi-Fi version. It’s just too unpredictable and you’ll be extremely mad (mildly putting it) when the app stops working.
Great product but bottle history would make it Perfect
This machine and the app are great and have been key for my wife and I. We just had our first baby and when the baby cries we always ask each other what time did we make the last bottle. If there would be some way you could add this it would make it perfect!!
It would be nice to be able to look in the app and see what time I made a bottle. I think having a bottle history in the app would be very convenient to a lot of people plus it can also track how many ounces you’ve fed your child. Otherwise app works as intended. No complaints yet.
I literally just set this up yesterday and it keeps saying “clean funnel”. Therefore, I did (even though I only made one bottle). The message won’t go away and I’m unable to make bottles via WiFi. I purposefully bought the WiFi baby brezza to make it from my phone. Didn’t realize the reviews until after purchase. If this many people are having complaints I believe Baby Brezza just slapped Wifi on the box just to get extra money without ensuring it worked properly.
Tried and true brezza fan. But the wifi model should not be sold until bugs and issues are worked out. The app won’t even find home wifi no matter what I try and I’m an intelligent millennial with IT experience. Not thrilled I paid extra to use what could’ve been just a base model. Disappointed but love the brezza none the less! Used them for our first and now our second. Life saver.
Guys - the start function to make a bottle from the app does not work. This is the whole premise behind a wifi enabled machine. Please fix this immediately, as there is no point in paying extra for this feature.
If I knew how awful this app was, I would’ve gotten the regular machine instead of wifi. I’ve only gotten it to make one bottle from the app. Multiple glitches including not sensing a bottle. Impossible to get any customer service; i had to leave a negative comment on a public Instagram post to finally get their attention. Absolutely inexcusable for the amount of money spent. Save your money and don’t bother with the wifi version.
my baby uses infant infant 0-12 months, when I bought it I prepared 4oz for her through the app but I realized that the milk came out very clear until I did some tests and it turns out that the app does not configure the amount of formula that is due and that it is very dangerous for babies because they are not fed as they should be, fix that please, it is too much money so that in the end it ends up being crap
Great machine.. was frustrated at first because my app wouldn’t connect to the machine. However after switching to my 2.4G home Wi-Fi signal (from 5ghz) the app was able to connect to the Formula maker.
This is my second unit and the Wi-Fi still does not connect. During setup it fails to connect and doesn’t give any errors other than recommending to move closer to the router or check to ensure the password is correct. I have also replaced my router with a different brand but the issues persist. I have tried on 2.4GHZ and 5 GHZ bands. This is the only device in my house that does not work.
It’s been great, but i wish if i can see through the app the history of making bottles Sometimes I’m too busy to track my babies bottle timeline, so it would be great if you update the app to do so!
This is honestly one of the worst apps I have ever used. The device itself is so expensive you would think they would invest some money into a decent app. I can’t even finish the set up instructions because it won’t let me name the device. We paid extra for the stupid wifi setting and you can’t even use the app. Will be returning the product.
Makes no sense. Why market a product and charge more for it when the features do not work? Unable to start bottle from app which is my entire reasoning for purchasing this model. Should have saved the money and bought the non-Wi-Fi version, as it is the same thing.
Why pay extra for the Wi-Fi version when the Wi-Fi doesn’t work?
Followed setup instructions to the letter and yet when I press “start” in the app nothing happens. Again and again I’ll walk to the machine thinking I’ll have a bottle ready and then have to manually make one because the app didn’t work.
Ive tried to register two different emails and neither of them work. For both emails, the app says the email is already registered. I’ve never registered prior to this. But (for giggles) I attempted to reset my password and it says there’s no matching email registered. Maybe it’s just a fluke but that’s pretty ridiculous.
Honestly, the negative reviews of the app are 100% accurate. It's not worth paying the extra $100 for the wifi version. It's glitchy and impossible to use. I'm pretty technically inclined, and this app is a disaster. Buy the Brezza Pro, non wifi version. It's amazing and a life changer. Skip this version.
Glad to see it’s been multiple years and this trash app still won’t connect to wifi. And even after retrying you have to run through a million steps on how to clean it. The product is great, but I’m disappointed I spent extra money for a wifi feature that DOESNT CONNECT TO WIFI.
App needs to have a feature to display a status update after initiating (starting) the machine to make a bottle. I click ‘start’ and never know if the bottle was made or not. The machine itself is top tier.

My wife and I use several different bottle sizes and it’s so nice to have the bottles configured in the app and simply select the bottle to make. It’s a life saver at 5:30am and my brain is foggy!
It would be awesome if you could include a history of the time that the Brezza was used and what it made. Sometimes we forget to track what our son ate.
I just purchased this upgraded version of the baby breeza once I get to the formula type on the app, the app doesn’t allow me to go to the next screen to complete the set up. Don’t waste the extra $100 for a poorly designed app that doesn’t work.
The app hasn’t given us any issues but I would really love for the developer to add 2 features, - a bottle log with what was made and what time it was made at even if only for a 24hr window - the ability to make 1/2oz increments
The app works until I get to the screen to actually make a bottle. Then all I get is a “making bottle” spinning wheel that won’t go away. I press “stop” but nothing happens. Please fix this. Making bottles from my phone is the ONLY reason I bought this machine.

First unit never connected to app. Received the second unit. Wifi connected on 5th attempt. But the app shows refill water tank and it never clears. Useless waste of money and time. Customer support is very unhelpful. Will return both…
It was working all fine until the latest update suddenly it says it couldnt find my machine and when i tey to connect it to thw wifi it sayw it couldnt connect at all.

App is a buggy mess and hardly ever works. Needs multiple updates. If I make a bottle by pressing the machine then try making another via the app it won’t respond.
