I bought my rod at Universal Studios Island of Adventures when my battery level was around 11%. I end up going to 32%. Now and then, I still took pictures, which could have caused the battery charge to slow down. I'm not sure. Overall, I don't regret buying it because my phone never went out, which kept us safe. It's not suitable for your phone's battery life to go out when you are split from your family. I gave it three stars because I expected my cell phone to have a 50% battery life due to the amount I paid.

The app is not letting me log into my account

I have purchased six of these fuel rods over the years. We use them when we visit DISNEY. When we have a large group and when somebody needs to charge their phone, mostly our grandkids. we can easily let them recharge and then when we pass the station we can swap them out. yes it may cost a little bit however beats the heck out of not having a phone all day, and that would really ruin the theme park visit.

I paid $30 initially and it gave me 50% or so I was on my phone the whole time so I’m sure it would be near 100% if not. My phones always dead and this for sure saved it a few times. Also it’s $2 a refill couldn’t ask for anything more convenient.

I live in the Orlando area and frequently visit the theme parks. I never leave home without my fuel rod. Being able to just swap it for a new one is absolutely amazing. I really love this so much.

This would be great if it wasn’t such a terrible battery. A “full” pod straight out of the machine only added about 25% charge to my iPhone. For $26 the battery should be good for at least one whole charge! Silly me for assuming the battery would be decent given the price of the kit. Currently regretting my impulse buy at the Boston Logan airport and wishing I could get a refund.

I finally purchased one of these at Logan Airport due to it being only $21 so that way I had to ability to use it at WDW/DL and swap it out for free. Now as of November 1st I will he charged $3 EACH ANS EVERYTIME I swap it out. That’s ridiculous! I want my money back! I can buy a charger cheaper online or even at a store and it will even hold a better charge than the Fuel Rod!!! Shame on your company for doing this!!

I did an impulse buy while at Walt Disney World, and I regret it. I paid $30 plus tax. Each one barely charges the battery, and I must keep swapping them out. When I use their app on my iPhone 14, it keeps crashing. If you haven't bought it yet, I would not recommend it!

The app includes free credits for places that charge for swaps and also has a better map for finding Swap locations.

I’ve been trying for weeks to get them to fix the app. Logjn attempts just bring me back to the login page repeatedly. Promise if a $5 bonus for signing up but without getting into the site it can’t be claimed.

Works well if you buy season passes. Waiting for kids on roller coasters dinner with music lol

So much faster and convenient to swap out my fuel rods!

Bought my first one In Philadelphia. It powered iPad for about an hour. Was it fully charged when I got it? Then, in Atlanta I wanted to swap. The app crashed several times. And it said there was a kiosk at F10. There is no forking kiosk Fail.

The price is way to expensive can go to another store any buy it for much cheaper.

Just bought one at Universal Studios Hollywood and I didn’t even get 2 hours’ worth of a charge! $30 for 90 minutes of phone use… CROOKS!!!!

this is a great investment at the disney parks since they have them all over. so no worrying about your phone dying on you.

App wont let me login, reset password just to be safe, tried the alternative methods to login and same result just back to logon screen.

Gives you 50-75% of a charge, then you have to pay $3 to swap it out after buying it

I’m a legacy customer so I’m supposed to get free exchanges. However, app has locked me out preventing any exchanges. Guess the company saved money this way.

Everything says Undefined or Error. No way to login, sign up, view locations. Pretty useless

I purchased a membership. They charged me twice and now I’m getting the run around in terms of me getting my money back. They are CROOKS!!!! Buyer BEWARE!

Fuel Rod barely contains enough juice for 50% Charge. Things to know, 2600mAh capacity (IPhone 11pro has 3969) Costs 30.00 plus tax (Universal Studios FL) Pro, it’s good for emergencies

These used to be free to swap now it’s $3 every time. Really disappointed.

I have sent 2 separate support requests - never heard back.

I personally bought one off amazon for 22 bucks a few months back and just swap it while i’m out at theme parks. While i do agree that sometimes the pods come out of the machines less than fully charged I do find the 5 dollar swaps much more convenient. Plus you can take them home and recharge them to use daily.

App will not allow account creation on android

I purchased a few of these, 5 to be exact, at $20.00 each. The kiosk stated (I have a photo for proof) “unlimited free swaps”. Not unlimited free swaps until we decide to change our minds. At first they provided us “old timers” codes to get past the $1-3 dollar swap fee but alas now, I’m out of luck. Don’t buy this item as they may just arbitrarily raise rates at any given time. I’m checking to see if this is even legal. Totally not cool.
