I cannot express how amazing this app is to my daily life. Very convenient and super easy to use. Most users aren’t aware that you can add your phone number as an alternate ID number. Use your alternate ID at the check out instead of the app. I just use this to check my status and see how many points I have accumulated.
This app really needs help. It is inferior. Gelsons should not be happy with this app. One of the problems— besides the app being too CLUDGY —is that it does not keep up with items that are on sale. Gelsons needs to get a better developer or someone who is more in tune with IT and app development and maintenance. The app is virtually worthless.
Gelson’s is the most overpriced and elitist supermarket I’ve ever visited. Even the most mundane essentials seem to always have a twenty to thirty percent markup. I had hoped this app would highlight some offers that would at least match prices of a Vons or a Ralph’s but it just confirmed my opinion.
If your a customer looking at this app for rewards points, then it really isn’t doing it for ya. It will tell you your rewards number , alternative I’d/ phone number and your name, along with all the basic info your profile has (and you already know) however it doesn’t tell you how or when you received those points nor any details about the transactions dates and times. Pretty weak sauce GELSONS!! Especially considering if you are a regular customer there…. You’re spending mad paper.

They tell you to sign into the app. You sign into the app and there’s no way you can actually look at your profile? Can’t even check to see how many points that you have through this particular app. The older app is much better than the dumpster fire disaster. They should be ashamed of themselves with how clunky and pathetic this app is.
pretty much the title, tried signing in and it said I needed to sign in but never again showed me the page to sign in again. The ADA features "provided" did not work, they also reset after going to a new page. If the devs want someone to help have them reply to the review.
Tried to create an account but it tells me there already is one associated with my phone number and I need to sign in. When I try to sign in and click the ‘Forgot Password’, it doesn’t recognize any of my emails for me to reset a password.
Signed up before I went to the store. Didn’t notice I wasn’t assigned a rewards number. Go to the register and I couldn’t use it because I haven’t been assigned a number yet. Took a day for a number to populate.
My store has been having issues with the phone number system for months so I’ve been losing out on money. Then I see this and try it and like every other review so far says - it’s worthless. Nothing works.
This app is as confusing as the website. Except at least on the website I can sign in. I see many others have reported the same issue. Why hasn’t this been addressed?
Why make users download a new app and have the new app be worse? It won’t let me sign in. It doesn’t fit the Gelson’s brand of having something so inconvenient and poorly done.
