I can no longer see when my credit card due date is. I got to the minimum payment amount screen but I’m not sure I could get back there without searching around again. On the old app I was able to see my accounts and my husband’s checking and loan account. Now I can’t have his account info on my app. Which means we will get late payments on the loan because my husband does not do banking and I have to make a point to get in his phone to log in and make the payment for him. This whole app is a real PITA. If this doesn’t improve we will be closing our accounts after our loans are paid off. I only bank online and mainly on my phone. This app is not convenient at all.
I love this credit union. It is very easy to stop in or call to ask any questions. They are all very professional and very approachable to help you in any way. If you don’t understand something they take the time to explain it to you. I won’t go anywhere else. Plus they have an app that you can download to your phone or computer. You can set up payment very easily. I love it. I have the ability to pay my bills at 3:00 am. If I choose to. Genisys does NOT CHARGE YOU FEE’s for holding your money. Like banks do.
This financial institution has my back. The security is solid and before it allow your money to be withdrawn by fraudulent means they contact you and that means a lot to me. They also keep you up to date on new things they offer and the customer service representatives are friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to help and I thank them for that
I jailbroke my phone years ago and realized I didn’t really want it after using it to customize my phone a little. Now I am completely unable to access the app because of this after I just updated it. I tried updating to the latest IOS just now and still cannot use the app. I hope this gets fixed because not being able to see my money when I need to is kind of an issue! I didn’t give it 1 star because before this I was able to use it and the new app is great! I really liked using it but now I am 100% unable to use it.
I have issues using the app from time to time. This week it was not being able to make my house payment due to an error message regarding the address of my mortgage company and American Express. There was no error, it just said there was. Also, you can’t edit the address or account number, you just have to create a new payee, which erases the history if you delete the previously used payee to avoid paying the wrong one. Also, a note field on the payee profile would be helpful.

Normally, I use the app for all of my account monitoring. However, the more recent updates seem to be killing features that I make frequent use of. Face ID/Thumbprint ID seems to have completely failed. App launch seems to be taking 2x the time as before. And the app seems SUPER sensitive to touch input, even more than the rest of the apps on my phone. I love my credit union, but the latest updates have me hating on the app.
I’m simply trying to change the scheduled date for my automatic payments. It will not save. I’ve tried for days. I had to call. I’m on hold. I’ve been on hold for 48 minutes so far. How is this acceptable customer service? They keep offering to save my place and call me but I still have to wait so there is no point. I can’t just go on with my day and hope that I’m available when they finally call. So I’m spending an hour or more of my day to do something that should be simple. This is horrible customer service.
I do not care for the new format of this application. I don’t really want to see upcoming scheduled payments and there seems no way to turn off that feature. In addition, I have issues with a repeating transfer which won’t go away after the date of the transfer.
I will admit, upgrading the app was needed. HOWEVER there should have been a longer test period because it needs ALOT of reworking. I use mobile deposit as my primary way to deposit. My husbands payroll check suddenly will not deposit. I eliminated automatic deposit because the tellers suddenly couldn’t get it into the correct employee account, now I cant mobile deposit it either. Overall I dislike it tremendously and it is more complicated than it should be. Considering a different institution, sadly because I have been here for almost 30 years.
One of things thus far that I don’t like about the app is it will tell you it has went through when it didn’t on the app. I would like a whole record of everything accurately incase I need to go back. Kinda of a confusing app to the way they have it arranged. It’s not my main so it’s okay but. Not the best. Needs an update.
I think the app is underrated! Yes it is still a work in progress but there are a lot more options and I think you just need to play around with it, I also love the card control option it make me feel a lot safer and in control! And I’m excited to see the updates and additions to come
I was skeptical at first when I got notified about the new app update. But I’m so happy that I switched. The new interface is legit! It can do so much more than the old app could not do, I am very satisfied with the service, the bank, and I have been a loyal member for 15 years.. cheers to another 50 years 🎉
I have used this app forever however every time I have to reset my password it never accepts it. It says it does, then takes me back to login with new password. Then it says it’s incorrect. Changed it again, still incorrect. It has done this for years. Please fix!! I now have to sit on hold because it’s going to lock my account again after I rest the password!
In the checking account details tab, I suggest that a counter is added to track the number of qualified purchases you’ve made each month. This way you can easily see if you’ve made your 10 purchases of over $5, to ensure that you accrue the monthly interest.
Been using the app for years using Touch ID to login. Recently moved to an iPhone 12 which uses Face ID. Seeing a bug with login after logout. When I bring up the app for the first time, Face ID logs me incorrectly. If I sign off and then attempt to sign back in by tapping the face icon, nothing happens. I have to close the app and reopen it to get Face ID to work.
This is the worst financial app i have used so far. The app is so slow and it takes a long time to load and go through the app. Basic things like account number and routing number is hard to find. Even account transfer to another bank is hard to find on the app. Dont like it.
I appreciate that this app has a secure messaging platform to allow me to get assistance on non-time-sensitive things without needing to take time out of the work day to call and wait on hold.
Terrible. The app does not update your current balance until days after so you never know where you’re really at. I have gotten several overdraft fees due to the fact that the app has made it unclear how much money is in my account and does not show if you are negative in an account at all. If the app is not updated soon i will be closing my account with Genisys. And no i don’t want to call your customer service and wait 20 minutes to tell them the exact same thing i did here.
I got this app solely so I could deposit our paychecks since we get off late and Genisys closes kind of early and we do not qualify for mobile deposit! Really!? The whole point of mobile banking is to be able to do your banking remotely. In order to do that you need to be able to deposit your $, and this app doesn’t allow me or anyone I know for that matter to deposit your checks from your mobile phone.
If you have any 3rd party keyboard layouts it will have issues. The chat function is junk. Can’t see what you’re typing. It is improved from this credit union’s first app but still has a lot to go
I recent got the iPhone 14ProMax and now the app will not let me store my Face ID to login. I’ve tried it 100x and still have to type my password in. Not a huge deal, more of an annoyance, but it would be great if this was fixed!!
I like that I can add accounts to transfer money to or switch between in the app. I like the new format overall, too. Also, really like the card controls being combined!
This isn’t my main bank I use them for my auto loan. The app is alright. Hard to do withdrawals to other banks and stuff. But, never had any issues until this morning. I try to log in and it says certificate error. I delete the app and re-download it thinking this would correct the error. Nope. So now I can’t log into my account and pay my auto loan. This needs to be fixed.
Good app but can I please just stay signed in? I have to type my password in every time and it’s annoying. Authenticate with face like other apps do. If it’s supposed to work like this then something is broken.
Cannot open my e-statements (request cannot be process) and cannot go back to homepage after transferring me out of app like the rewards page. But overall it shows my account as it should.
Chat functionality is awful, and you can’t open accounts through the app
The keyboard covers the text box whenever you type. Any link that is sent through chat will take over the message window, and there is no way to go back. According to the chat representative, it’s not possible to open an account through the app, even though that’s what Genisys claims.
System works well. However when logging on the verification is extremely slow. The face recognition is acceptable but the verification process seems to be quite long compared to other online services. Thanks Terry
Cannot login, keeps giving me a internal error. I only downloaded the app cause the website wont work. I cant login anywhere to view my account. Really getting fedup with this from this credit union. Fix your app and most importantly fix your website so customers can login!
I had no problem with this app at first, but now it won’t let me log in unless I use the it on a browser. I keep getting the notification “This app requires the MFM middleware. Please configure this URL to proceed with login.” any help?
Mobile deposit has been a huge bummer... five days later and it’s still on hold, and it’s a payroll check... not the convenient deposit I was hoping for
This app was great until suddenly I couldn’t get into my account. I ended up deleting it and when I attempted to re-download it, it wouldn’t allow me to install the app. I’m extremely frustrated as I need to see my balance. Any help would be great.

I will revert this rating once it’s either fixed or someone reaches out to me on how to fix it. I have gone into settings to enable it, but it never saves. I don’t like having to log into my password vault every time I want to check my debit card balance.
I cannot get the mobile deposit function to work. It continues to reject the check photos saying that a corner is bent. I don’t have that problem with the Bank of America app.
