The app is very buggy and the design is not optimized for all phone types. I have an IPhone 8 and when I try to add my tickets to the app, there is a pop up that is blocking the menu items and the close button is hidden behind the site banner, rendering the app useless if I can’t add my tickets. In addition, the app doesn’t rotate when I change my phone like other apps. Also when I try to select ‘My Account’, the app immediately closes every time. The app has great potential, but it needs further development.
Buying tickets through this app is a nightmare. When you create an account to purchase them the button to finish your transaction and proceed with payment is blocked by the back and forward arrows. Paid in person. Later to schedule the shows it was a similar run around and I just had my friend schedule them on her browser. The map and information about what to expect was incredibly helpful though.
I have been trying to buy a membership on the website but every time I add them to the cart it says my cart is empty, after many failed attempts I tried the app. I got all the way through filling everything out but because of the design I am unable to click the continue or completion button I need to in order to purchase. The button gets covers up by navigating forward or backwards and every time I try and click the right button it click on the start over button. It is incredibly challenging to purchase from their site or app.
It has a great map and was nice to see the schedule of presentation so we could plan our day but that the live web cams never worked. The app freezes for long periods of time, for no apparent reason. It would be nice to have a link to the gift shop for future purchases. I wanted to use the app not only for my day at the aquarium but for days to come but it looks like it’s intended for a one day purpose!! What a shame!!
Buying tickets is painful, even if you have an account, you have to sign in every time you make a change, and you can’t just add in each experience and then pay for it all at once. If you have admission tickets adding anything to it is impossible as it wants you to buy admission tickets again because it doesn’t recognize that you already have them. Needs a pretty serious rework to be less frustrating.
So a question that I have is when you create the app do you use it on different phones so if it would work or not? I JUST NOW downloaded the app to make sure that the tickets I purchased would be in 1 place. Now, your app won’t let me scroll, I can’t navigate as I should. I’m operating IOS 14. Can you find a way to fix this issue please.
App worked for me for the most part but I noticed there were issues in places like the parking deck where cell/wifi connectivity was low and it had issues logging in. Map and membership cards are very nice tools.
For such an enormous place, the app is absolutely horrible. Login to the app, then login 70 more times within the app to get your parking ticket. Also for guests tickets and specials. It keeps freezing or throwing you out. I like the fact I can see when the shows are and the map, but other then that it has been horrible. And we are going on years. For the amount of money paid per ticket, and a membership holder myself, this needs improvement.
I have a new iPhone and the app does not allow for anything. Once you have the date selected, every other feature is hidden and you can go no further toward a purchase. It is a disgrace to have such an awful app AND WEBSITE (you cannot buy parking as a member on the website without trouble, either) for such a world-class aquarium. It is immensely frustrating, and I have emailed guest services several times. This software needs to be rebuilt.
reviews I can tell that’s the only one that had a problem so I don’t understand why they don’t fix this app. Every time I try to login under my account, the app freezes and then will no longer work even if I close it out and try to go back in. I just have a blank screen and then have to remove it and reinstall it. I’ve tried this four times.
Works great when I download it but the moment I try to login to my account it just white screens and I can’t do anything else even after closing and reopening the app
Bought residents pass. Downloaded app. It’s completely unusable on any phone. Have tried 2 different iPhones and a Samsung. You cannot select a time because a banner is in the way on iPhone and the edit time function isn’t even there on Samsung. Online doesn’t seem to work either.
The website encourages you to download the app. Yet, using the app is self-punishment. Tickets you purchased are there one minute and disappear before your eyes. This is true of resident passes and guest tickets. Thank God for email confirmation. Why is this app even listed on the store. What confidence do the developers have in this.
Broken - says “Loading …” then gives me a blank white screen.
Installed the app. Logged in. Screen said “Loading …” then gave me a blank white screen. Exited/restarted the app. Said Loading …” then gave me a blank white screen again. Repeated multiple times with same result. App is useless at this point.
The app worked earlier last year, but late last year started going white screen as soon as I log in. Can’t access anything, so I’ve decided to spend my membership money somewhere else and I won’t be renewing my membership.
Trying to buy tickets, which prompts an account creation option. Can’t create an account though, because there is some sort of navigation bar that covers the form submission button at the bottom of the page. Quite annoying.
Bought a membership yesterday and have attempted multiple times to use the app. It freezes, glitches and throws me out anytime I try to log in. I uninstalled today and tried to start over. Same issues. So frustrating!!! Fix this!
The app won’t let me login despite multiple password resets. Unable to access my membership passes to get into the aquarium. I’ve called customer service twice, they just keep sending password reset links and aren’t resolving the problem.
Slow to load. Crashes. Don’t rely on the app for tickets. Sometimes my admission tickets appear, sometimes they don’t. The encounter tickets have never appeared. Make sure to print out your tickets -so much for saving trees. Avoid frustration by not downloading the app.
Being back the old app. This app closes when I click on My Account. Also, I went to the aquarium last night for an event and in the car I seen my tickets but when I got to the ticket counter I couldn’t find my tickets. I had to login on my friends phone to access our tickets.
I tried to register. It allows me to add all my information. However I click submit; nothing. Just frozen. Tired 4 times. I deleted this app. You’d think as much as it cost to visit this aquarium they would have a decent working app.
We love going to the GA Aquarium, but the app leaves a lot to be improved upon. It frequently logs me out and often doesn’t move on to the selection I’ve made. The app doesn’t seem to have been improved up over the years either. It’s unfortunate
Whenever I sign-in to access my member benefits, the screen goes white and it never loads anything. This is very inconvenient and there is no way to request support for the app other than writing a review.
I would expect the aquarium to have a better app. It crashes constantly and reservations are impossible to make online. I ended up calling to make member reservations. They need to fix this app ASAP otherwise we may not renew our membership.
I've been an annual pass holder for 3 years and never had a problem. The last 3 months I've been unable to login and always needed assistance. I wish this app would work!
I assume it’s for certain versions of iPhone, but I do have an iPhone 13, and it does not work well at all. I deleted it and reinstalled, and still, every time I sign in, it goes to blank screen.
I can’t even load it after having it two days. It just goes to a white screen. First day I couldn’t look at tickets and now white screen when it loads.
I downloaded this specifically for the tickets rather than printing them and it says we have no tickets. Please add an option to type in your order number as another way to retrieve your tickets.
Whoever wrote this app must be an intern. You need to re enter your credentials upon every single click. I can’t even get the parking voucher for the day I’m going. Absolutely the worse app.
