I honestly love this place! It is really clean, having a pod to myself to sleep is great bc it feels like I’m alone, instead of being in a room full of people. The staff is friendly and the amenities are nice. My only complaint would have to be there the pods got a little hot and even the little fan you can rent did not help much. Also the area it is located is next to the police station from what I’ve gathered and it can be a tad noisy if you’re someone who wakes easily to noise. Aside from this it is a great place to stay and this was my third time staying here because I love it so much!

I first arrive with a last minute reservation and Christian (African American at the front desk) was very stand off ish towards me. I specifically ask for a non coed room and he replies “would you rather bunk with a bunch of dudes”, so he places me in a room of women. One of the girls who work there is yelling screaming and cursing into the phone and is very aggressive and ghetto. I get moved to another room with out warning and I am unable to use my key card. I understand why a room of women would feel uncomfortable with a male in the room. The floors were disgusting nothing is clean and there are no doors; so no privacy. I was accused of trying to “blow up the building”. Someone supposedly heard me say that but none saw it (probably because I didn’t say that to anyone). This sounds ridiculous all together but with all the craziness going on I can see it happening there due to the lack of efforts the staff puts in. The manager was the least bit professional wasn’t dressed in proper attire and everyone had B.O. you definitely get what you pay for and next time I’m going to a good hotel that respects their customers. Zero aloha, zero stars I wouldn’t go back nor recommend this spot to anyone.

U street hostel made our Washington DC trip possible. Price was great for a large private room with twin size bunk beds, shower, toilet and sink. Although their website prohibits children, my kids were allowed probably because this room has a private non sharing bathroom. I had some thing shipped to the hostel on the day we arrived and they accepted the package. The room was clean, mattresses were comfy, and the room was cool in temperature. You have to add the GOKI app for the keys to the main door and room key to check in There is a Walgreens across the street and a trader’s joe about 1.5 blocks away. There is a refrigerator, microwave, dining table and chairs on the second floor. The U street green line metro is right around the corner. The bus is also across the street. I do wish the maximum length of stay was longer than 7 days.

I love this hostel. I’m originally from DC but recently moved to another city. Every time I come home, this is where I stay. The staff are always cool, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The space is always clean and inviting. There are a few options to choose from for your stay and none of them disappoint. When I’m staying for a short time after a show, or a night out I stay in a pod. It’s spacious, private, and comfortable. There are communal showers (which are always kept clean) as well as laundry facilities. When I want to stay with a friend, I always get the single room. It comes with a bunk bed, and your own bathroom. I really appreciate spaces like these that offer reasonable prices, a warm environment and energy, and to top it off, cleeeeaaaannn. I must say this was my first time staying in a hotel with this concept of the capsules. The beds were very comfortable. The area is clean and the bathrooms are so modern , equipped with everything you would need after a long flight/day. The staff are incredibly friendly, and I also appreciate that you are allowed to stow your luggage at the hotel or use their facilities while you wait for your next flight out of Zurich. Would definitely recommend booking your stay here if you need a day or overnight rest before your next destination.

This hotel was one of the nicest and most comfortable boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I had a wonderful night’s sleep on the beautiful bed, luxurious and spa-like shower and just a lovely stay. Staff were incredibly kind, helpful and thoughtful. Bath products were top notch. I’ll be purchasing many of them for my return home, as well as the scented candles and a mug or two. Just the best products. All in all, this will be my number one choice to stay in Baltimore and I will be looking forward to my next stay there. It was simply a wonderful experience.

Goki worked for the main door, didn’t need it for our semi private room(105) because the door lock was broke, reception came right up to check and assured us handy man would fix the next day(that was a lie, it wasn’t fixed). We were offered a shared dorm but figured an unlocked door was basically the same as staying with strangers in a shared room. Would have requested refund and went elsewhere but we arrived around 21:30 and the hotels in area were already fully booked. The village cairns is disgusting, didn’t realize full extent until we stripped the bed per hotel request at check out. The mattress pad had multiple bodily fluid stains and our pillows were stained, one was so bad it was brown. This bedding should be in the garbage!! I have pictures posted on google reviews and trip advisor. There’s no reason guests should be subjected to using anything in such disgusting condition! They have a 10AM check out and started to clean the bathroom at 9AM, which closed the bathroom down(it needed done but could have waited an hour) just at the time people checking out would need to use the facilities one last time.

Needs good WiFi signal to work but a neat way to allow guests in. Sometimes a little slow.

The hotel desk was efficiently trained kind and honest. The hostel was clean and smelled fresh! The bed was comfortable and clean. Shower gets real hot like I love and was clean. The common area was clean and comfortable. It was great for working and to read relax or just chill out. 3 short blocks to the clean candodo beach. Walking distance to everything including Walmart. I will stay again if I fly solo again! Only issue was no TV as advertised. But I never was there long enough to care.

Honestly, lousy service. When I arrived I had problems with the room and key, today I was on a tour in Arizona and someone called me in the afternoon to tell me that I have to be here at the hostel before 11 pm because I have to change rooms. No one warned me before, you shouldn't call me because of your mistake at a time when I'm enjoying myself, which is what I came here for. When I arrived from the tour at the hostel, they gave me my things in a black bag... Nobody should have touched my personal things!!! Now I noticed, and some of my things are gone. I was assigned a bed that was occupied by someone else. The truth is, the experience in this place is unfortunate.

My husband and I live in the neighborhood and this was the perfect place for a little mom and dad night out. The room was absolutely gorgeous! I loved the design, the bed was so comfy. We definitely felt rejuvenated after our stay. The staff was warm and personable. We can’t wait for our next visit and I think we will try out all the rooms because I am certain each one has an unique feel!!

This place is VERY clean. The rooms are also renovated and have a cabin like feel. Even though there’s no official front desk, there are workers on the premises to help (even after hours). It is located conveniently to the village, and the best part was the price. The room cost about a third the price of other hotels. I would definitely stay here again!

The hostel itself was always buzzing and always had activities going on. Free pool in the bar too is always a plus! The staff was the most memorable part of my stay, being so helpful and accomodating. Quentin was a legend, and I wouldnt have had the great time I did at Base without him being so welcoming.

Best Hostel i stayed in while in Italy. Ostella Genoa felt much newer and modern than other hostels i visited. Its best feature were its large, inviting common areas. My room was relatively well insulated from late night noise and was more comfortable than others i stayed in. The staff was very helpful and made time for my questions.

My family and I have stayed at Hotel Revel several times and it has always been a wonderful experience. Such a unique hotel and we just love Shelton the manger. Thank you Hotel Revel for always making us feel special and making our stay enjoyable!! ❤️❤️

If you’re planning on having a good night sleep here, then forget about it. On the weekends this hostel lobby is playing music really loud through the night. People are talking and yelling all night long. The weekdays / weeknights ain’t any better. They talk/laugh until 3am despite I asked them to lower down their voices. I tried to call the front desk numerous of times for help, but no answer. Most of the people here are back packers and they have no regard for anyone . My big mistake to stay here.

The staff and guest accommodations make this place. One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Friendly, patient staff who will help you with any issue you have, no matter how big or small! Beautiful place/rooms and a free drink upon arrival! Absolutely book this hostel if you are staying in Rome. The young lady at the front desk is exceptional

Sheldon checked me in yesterday and was so patient with me, he literally set up my profile and then educated me on the “how to’s” for my next visit. Which I may attempt to extend my stay for another night. Either way I’ll be visiting again very soon. Team Revel!

This is the worst hostel to stay at in london. I stayed there for a night and there was a huge group of high school kids making noise all day long. The curtain for the bed was broken. I was sitting in a bar alone and a drunk man i don’t know how he managed to come to the bar with 2 security gard outside started passing racial comments. Top of this location of this hostel is worst you will constantly hear noise of cars and people. Don’t let staying at this hostel ruin your traveling experience.

My workplace had these installed in the hopes of eventually not needing to have overnight staff but that will certainly not be possible. They malfunction on a DAILY basis, and customer service is useless, always insisting the issue is user error when they things are clearly pieces of junk that just don’t work. They are removing bad reviews from here as well, what a scam. I would rip them off our doors and mail them back if the choice were mine.

We stayed at the howzit/north shore hostel for our birthdays and had the best time. I do wish it was closer to beaches but the experience was AMAZING! The staff are helpful, happy and SO friendly. The activities absolutely brought it home for one of the best experiences we have had in a hostel.

It’s so convenient. Don’t need to carry around a traditional hotel room key. Your life is on your cellphone, mind as well your travel or trip plans be on your cellphone. Hope more hostels/hotels, airline ticket booking, car rentals using this app.

I love the concept, the way it works and the potential that it has. As a Test Engineer myself, I see how this will eventually change the world of travel. No more keycards to unlock the doors - this way there is no chance of losing it. No more problems that cannot be solved via the app or a virtual reception. P.S: If you need a test engineer part time for that - let me know. More than happy to assist with testing and participating in this. 5 stars. 6 stars once more features are added.

Drove 8hrs for a work meeting only to find out floor 2 doesn’t have WiFi. Virtual staff solution: I can work in the lobby on the 4th floor. Absolutely not. I drove in a night early to work in the comfort of my hotel room while I watch TV, both require internet. A partial refund would be nice since a shower and bed are the only things I can enjoy here. TV would have been nice to drown out the noise at night. Didn’t sleep at all. Even better I woke up to my digital keys being expired so I can’t even leave to grab coffee & WiFi next door to prep for meetings. Isn't check out at 11am? Garbage place. Unless, WiFi and sleep are not what you are expecting during your stay.

As a woman traveling alone for the first time, I felt so safe once you’re in your own pod, there’s no noise. Everything’s good. I absolutely loved it and would definitely come again.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, room was clean, great location, but the one thing I dislike is you can hear everything from the room next door! We got woken up at 2 am by the guy next door cussing and carrying on we could hear him throwing up.

Exactly what I expected a Hostel to be. So very happy to stay here and meet fellow travelers. Enjoyed the super soft memory foam bed and the coffee in the morning. Loved the wall art and map of the world.

This makes my stay is so convenient, easy to access and check in and check out. It is amazing to see how it is advanced!! Thanks

The service at the bar the menu says one thing they give you another one and when you ask why its wrong they say they dont know but i would be nice that the can have the same stuff at the menu they dont respect the “announced” for staying at the hostel and when you ask they just smile and say they cant do anything

This hostel was just okay. I always find the vibe at Ostello to be kinda odd (both Rome and Florence) but overall the people are great and friendly! However, out of my whole Europe trip this hostel was by far the dirtiest and my comforter had a big spill on it :(

Location is great for the price and the staff was very friendly! But I feel like the room was a bit overpriced, so if you are looking to party all night long; this may be the place for you.

Using Goki to access the bed & breakfast was extremely convenient and intuitive.

We have 40 rooms in our hostel, we had 6 come out of the box not working at all, I’ve also had to replace half of them within the first 3 months of installation. Many are giving us continued problems. The locks are not tough enough and I don’t understand how there still in business.

A wonderful place to stay with with good energies throughout! Read about the history of the cottages online, very interesting.🩵

This little key fob makes life so much easier!

It seems the GOKI app is still somewhat experimental. It was in use at three hostels I stayed at in Australia in April 2024. The app worked right to open doors about 85% of the time. When the app didn’t open the door and one had to use the keypad on the door, it generally took multiple attempts. I asked other guests and front desk staff and found that it is a common issue with GOKI. To the developers; Keep trying, it’s a cool idea that deserves to be perfected. I hope you get it right soon.

the staff is great here. very helpful and friendly. the outdoor patio area has plenty of space. rooms and bathrooms are nice/clean. staying here is also an easy way to meet others while in vegas. i will definitely be coming back next time i’m in town!! thanks y’all! 💗

Absolutely loved it, the staff was super kind and I really enjoyed the cabin. It has good showers and lockers to put luggage, super secure and comfortable!
