I’ve been using GolfWOD consistently for nearly 3 years and recommend it to anyone who may be interested. The fitness content is EXACTLY what I spent forever looking for and is a fantastic combination of strength, cardio, and mobility specific to golf based movements, but also for great general fitness. The variety is also key and has had me working out more consistently than ever. The app has come a long way from when I started and gets continual improvements and the content only builds on itself. I’m a low handicap golfer who started losing distance with age, but within a year was back to hitting longer than in my prime. In year 2 all my one-rep max lifts we new PRs. If you are interested just give it a try, and then go for the lifetime membership.
Just started up with GolfWOD and I’m loving it. Been involved with CrossFit for nearly a decade, but recently dialed back to focus more on my golf game. With that said, most golf “fitness” programs I’ve tried were a joke and geared towards the retiree, not a younger athlete. These workouts still scratch my CF itch, but leave me prepared and not overly sore on the course or range. I personally love the mobility tools and how the swing mechanics are present in almost every session. My only gripe is I wish some RangeWOD workouts were geared a little more towards beginners, to complete a lot of them you have to be crazy accurate and they include a decent amount of shot volume. Not much focus on technique or correction, which is what I feel like most average golfers are doing at the range. If I could hit perfect draws/fades and straight shots to exact distances all the time to the point where I’m training them to volume, I’d be pro. It’s a nice challenge but not a realistic way to be using range time if you’re still dialing in your swing.
Hard to put into words the quality here. The app gives you the ability to tirn your weakness into strengths. The team that is programming the workouts knows what they are doing and how to help you get every ounce of gain in each lift. Try it for 30 days and commit to working through the progressions and see for yourself. I’ve seen major improvements in my ROM and strength through full ROM.
The workouts are great - perfect for strengthening the core specific to the golf swing and rotation. However, the app is very buggy - there are at least 1-2 days per week that I can’t even get into the app, as it just stays on the load screen and states “the data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format”. The next day it seems to have repaired itself. I would expect this from a free app or one that costs $5 or $10 per month. But this one is $30/month - it should work flawlessly for that price
This app is super user friendly and the programming is great. One of my favorite parts is the ability to go through a workout with my full gym set up at home, but if I’m traveling there is also body weight & band options as well. If you’re looking to improve your fitness to improve your game, look no further! 🏌🏼
Love the app. The variety in workouts is always challenging and depending on where I’m working out for the day (home, box, conventional gym), there is programming for me. I’m not sure if my Golf game is improving but the the CrossFit principles exercised in this programming is quantifiably making me stronger and my endurance is picking up. The only reason there isn’t a 5 star rating here is because of two functions I want to see….1) Apple Watch compatibility 2) a log to track weight
For years I’ve been doing weightlifting workouts but then needing to add yoga routines to maintain mobility for golf. But then, when I want to play or practice I end up missing a workout. With GolfWod, I can maintain my strength, mobility, cardiovascular health, and it even provides days for playing and practicing. Also, the drills are pretty good too.
I am an older guy (66), but have always been into fitness. I was a marathon runner, and then a cross fitter for a number of years before picking up golf in the last few years. I was looking for a way to combine my fitness training with my Golf and this app does it for me. It’s like CrossFit with a focus on your golf swing.
I have tried many things trying to get better at golf. This has been a great investment. I am learning to move my body and have stopped trying gimmicks. GolfWOD is legit! It helps all areas of your golf game and fitness. If you love golf and fitness GolfWOD is a must have.
DRVN has been incredibly positive for my golf game - It feels like having a personal fitness coach available daily. The workouts are easy to follow and obviously tailored for golf. It’s made me feel stronger and more confident on the course. I've tried other fitness apps, have a peloton, but DRVN has stood out.
Had been doing strictly CrossFit workouts for past 12 years but wanted to add rotational exercises for help with golf game while keeping CrossFit type workouts. This app is it! New workouts each week with demo videos. Already signed up for a full year and excited to see progress in my golf game while keeping up my squat and deadlift numbers!
Big exercise guy but never had anything geared specifically toward golf until now. It’s really opened my eyes to how weak certain parts of me are when isolated. Amazing programs and tons of options.
Fantastic workouts, they work all the muscles needed for golf and for just being functional in life. I usually get a good cardio workout as well which I need. There are a few frustrations with the app that if they get addressed I will most certainly give this a 5 star rating.
This app really has been a game changer for me and keeping me active in the gym with unique and challenging circuits. The workouts do include focus on building swing strength and consistency. Excited to see the gains in body and game continuing with this app! Great work
Being a trainer in the past, I wasn’t sure how much I’d like this… but the functional training program is very well structured and I love that my golf practice is built in!
Workouts for all levels, mobility/stretching routines, putting and ball striking drills to practice at the range or at home, and more. This is well worth the price and more.

This app is so slow. Otherwise it’s a good app but it’s almost unusable. Please fix this problem. I just got it, paid 20 bucks and it’s soooo slow. I can’t watch the instructional videos.

Best combo of golf specific exercise and all purpose by far. With plenty of program choice depending on your interest and access to equipment. Over decades I’ve done many different paper and dvd based programs, cross fit and club trainers, and iPhone apps for golf specific or general exercise. Haven’t seen anything else close for the physical side of golf. I’m 62,175 and am still capable of a pretty high intensity level for exercise and strength. At the same time, there are plenty of options for recovery, stretching, warmup and general mobility work. Easy to use and developer is always looking for feedback while doing continuous improvements. Am three months in and swing is more consistent because the muscles specific to the swing are in better shape for improved balance during accelerating swing speed. And I trust my swing more. At the same time I feel stronger and in overall better shape especially from chest to knees. Handicap dropped 4 pts in that time period. Is it all GolfWOD? No but being in better golf shape has helped me execute better the technical side of golf.
