This is a great game hands down. Im sitting here reminiscing the good ol days when i use to rock out with Guitar Hero. This feels that void everything about this game is fantastic probably one of the best mobile games ive ever downloaded and very addicting EXCEPT i feel like once you pay for the AD FREE version i shouldnt have to watch a 30 second video to upgrade my stuff. Everything should be a click and boom upgrade no 30 second videos no ads nothing i feel like its a bit of false advertising with ads when i purchased ad free. Also, how do you change your name? I got my band name but under my band name in my profile it says “No Name” and it doesnt really explain how to change your name. This should be addressed too. Aside from that there are minor bugs/glitches like when pressing notes it causes you to miss the note even though you definitely hit it. Ive noticed this alot and im playing most of my songs on pro and legendary. I can 100% a song several times and then when im battleing other players same song same difficulty i hit the double notes and it only registers 1 note being hit. Also, maybe add a friend list type deal to challenge friends or family. Me and my daughter been playing and i think it would be cool to challenge her. Other than that GREAT game. Awesome.
This is the only phone game I've played in months lol. The fake songs are pretty good, they're close enough to the originals to enjoy and most of the songs are fun to play I just don't know all of them lol. There aren't really any BIG complaints I have except I still have ads and there are ads like before and after every song and sometimes they show up late and make you miss part of a song. Sometimes the ads glitch out too and you have to close the app and go back in but those aren't too bad and I should probably just buy something to get rid of ads since I like the game so much anyway. Final complaints, frequently when I'm doing double notes and stuff I mess up cause my thumbs are fat but I don't know how that could be fixed, and i wish that there were more ways to get the gold coins or you got more from 10 victory cases or things cost less cause most people don't want to or can't blow money on a phone game, and SOME people (cough cough me cough) want slash's or Zakk's guitar without playing for 4 years non stop hehe. ANYWAY besides those the game is epic the upgrade system thing is pretty nice and the equalized bonus is cool and the guitars are cool and the disc system reminds me of like overwatch competitive score which is kinda broken but I guess balances itself out. AND last but not least can paradise city be added as like paradise town or something lol. Huge gnr fan here.
This game is 100%. Ive read a few other reviews and I definitely agree about the AD thing. If you pay for no ads, i do think you should be able to get, like, a free upgrade once a day, rather than having to watch a video. However, i get when devs do this, because you get $$ if a player decides they wanna go the cheap route to upgrade. HOWEVER, bugs/glitches are yet to be fixed. I’ve played for a week and have noticed some things that players have experienced months ago. Example, sound cuts out if you get a notification or if you accidentally swipe out of the app. Another, sometimes when i press the pedal button, it glitches to where any double note hit, it only pressed one, even though i’m certain i press both. Even when this doesnt occur, the glitch in the timing of the screen causes me to lose my x4 bonus because it ticks a few beats ahead and i miss a note or two. This doesnt happen every time, but enough for it to be slightly annoying and inconvenient, as it could cost the few hundred points to the win. Other than this, the app is absolutely amazing. Very nostalgic in song choices and appearance. I like the idea of upgrading your band and customizing everything. 10/10, except for the glitches. Please fix!
I’ve been playing for a while now and there’s some real positives to this game, very nostalgic, the buttons line up to the songs very nicely you get that guitar hero feel for sure. The song choices aren’t bad at all and the covers are good to the point you don’t mind hearing them while your playing. The only thing keeping me from the 5 stars is that if you want to play this long term the songs get redundant. There’s a good selection but definitely not enough and paying for the VIP isn’t worth it because as you get to difficult levels they unlock anyway or the legend version is almost impossible. I’d throw $5 at it to get more songs if the covers were good and I actually got new songs but $10 a week? That doesn’t make sense to have to keep paying for the songs. Overall if you want a time killer every now and then it is good for that.
This is a decent game. The gameplay is nice, the adjustments to the songs aren’t a problem and I even find myself humming these versions throughout the day. The big problem with this game is the difficulty as levels increase. Once you hit 2000 discs you transition from medium to hard automatically. Not a problem because practice does help. The issue is that as you move up in the battle mode it gets to the point where missing one note will cost you the match every single time. On the flip side, you get a perfect and check the score and your opponent isn’t anywhere near you. I also doubt that these are live matches because a) a match is found immediately every time and b) your opponents seem to use all their boosts each time and at about the exact same time in each song. I’ve also had big leads heading into the last ten seconds of the song as opponents starting compiling points in extremely large chunks and end up beating me. Also, what’s the deal with your perfect calculator? If my opponent beats me and I get a perfect, the bonus always says 10% but it’s always just enough to win. I would recommend this game, just be ready to be frustrated in the later levels. Patience is a virtue I guess. It is also totally worth it to make a small purchase to eliminate the ads. Especially because they run that stupid sniper ad and sometimes my young son is watching over my shoulder.
I love this game, the glitches aren’t as bad as they used to be and the song selection is nice (VIP is tempting but I don’t find it worth it yet) I’ve been playing for awhile now, I want to say around a year/ year and a half, and I don’t really have any complaints but the one thing I do wish is that you could orientate your phone to the sideway position instead of straight up and down. It’s not a problem all of the time like when I’m in a car or a chair of some kind but while I’m laying down I feel like it hinders my performance and the fun-ness of the game. I also feel it could fix people accidentally exiting out of the game when trying to hit the amp. These could all very easily be a problem only I deal with as my hands are much larger than my phone (iPhone 11) but I would not be surprised if it was a lot more than me. My wife also plays on the iPad and I don’t see how it’s comfortable since it has to be straight up and down like a phone. Any reason as to why this wouldn’t be possible is greatly appreciated but if it is possible I would love to see it in a future update!
Okay... This game is very addictive and I love it so much. But there are many many flaws! To start the number one concern and honestly kind of scares me, is that the game has some sort of access to my camera roll Because in the game there is a little logo by your band name that you could to create. Now whenever I click “ready” to start a game a picture of me that I took on the beach pops up onto the logo. I never remembered the game asking me for access to my camera roll... and even if it did I still would have said no. Because this game doesn't need that kind of information. So that’s the biggest reason why it’s getting two stars. In addition I barely win any games I don’t know if I’m playing against people even if I get a perfect score I still end up loosing. And that’s very frustrating as well. And also sometimes it will be very laggy and skipping beats and pausing and right when it un-pauses the person or computer or whoever I’m playing against is 300 points ahead of me and I can’t catch up with only 10 seconds... so yeah thoes are my two major complaints if that could be fixed that would be great because I still do love this game...
Overall really good game with a nice sense of progression
Kinda installed this to see if it’d be a nice alternative to piano tiles for my niece and ended up really liking it. I never got super into guitar hero as a kid, but the mixes remove alot of downtime from old rock songs. The controls feel tight and have good adjustments, and I’ve seen other reviews about dueling ai’s or super weird things happeninv in battles but I haven’t experienced that every loss I’ve had or last second comback I’ve fallen victim to I’ve been able to pinpoint what lead to that. I think some people just don’t realize how much a 4x or &x multiplier really means. Plus there are boosts for partially perfecting a song that makes it pretty competative in 1v1’s. I’ve made enough premium currency to buy one of the best guitars in a week with only $1 spent to remove the ads thag you get after a song, and after that ads did not really impeed my enjoyment of the game.
I’ve been playing this game for over a year, and it’s a very enjoyable game to play. One thing I’ve had issues with were the hitboxes with the notes (specifically the green one) every time I go to hit the pedal, it would play a green note, causing me to lose my multiplier (which makes using the pedal worthless to use if you can’t get the 8X multiplier.) if you could fix this, it would make all the difference. Ps: for the love of god please rework the vocals on Pantera’s Walk, they are unbearable! Also, I feel like there isn’t much to do in the game once you hit the final stage, and buy a level 8 guitar. If you could add more game modes, then that would be awsome. Recommendations to add add more power ups than pro help, I have like 180 pro helps because I never use them, because you get more points from just trying to hit the notes Add a microphone mode so you could sing (similar to guitar hero and rock band) Guitar rumble (You have a selection of 3-5 songs in a row, where you get powers to make your opponent get less points. You get these powers from hitting special notes in a row, the same way you get star power in guitar hero) If y’all even see this review, I just want let yall know that yall are sitting on a gold mine with a game like this. Keep improving the game to make it more enjoyable, and keep fixing bugs.
I’ve been playing this game off and on for 3-4 years now, so I’ve seen it go through many updates. I was excited for one of the most recent ones where music was changed, and you’re able to play for longer periods of time vs only using energy for battles. The downside to the update is I feel like those of us who previously paid for the ‘ad free’ version of the app before, got screwed over with the new version of the game. There’s still not as many adds as before, but everything wants you to watch an ad in order to play a song you don’t have, upgrade, earn more money, etc. I totally get trying to make money for your app, but I feel like there was somewhat of a disservice to those of who have already paid for the app but don’t have the monthly/yearly subscription to play all songs again. It’s still fun but I’m disappointed with some of the changes that have been made.
Don’t get me wrong the game is amazing with the guitars you can use and the ability to customize them. But, there are to many ads and I don’t mean that their are ads in ads I mean that ads pop up way to often. You should at least be able to play at least 3-5 songs without an ad popping up saying. Do you want cash watch this video we should be allowed to have some space, to have fun and not get overwhelmed with ads after every song. Like I said it should at least be every 3rd song or 5th so then we can have more fun. But overall the game is really great it’s a lot of fun I recommend you play it, but I’m just telling the creator/creators they should fix the ad pop up amount so it’s not to often. It’s at least a 4 star game because of the ads but when they fix that issue it will definitely be a 5 star.
Okay for starters this is a great game. Good quality (most of the time), Addictive, etc. I love the songs because you’re trying to not give it away and the characters. Started playing it yesterday but now I can’t put my phone down for it. It’s a great game through and through. My but though is that the game does glitch from time to time. When it does, you miss a note and mess up the whole song. One time I kept hitting the one note but it said “miss.” I kept having to restart seven times because of it. Another thing is the battle mode. Once you level up, you get picked for that rank which yes you do practice for. Yet I don’t like it. Why not just have it in the tabs for the ranks. Sure you might think differently but think. What if you had a losing streak and needed an easy song for battle. Don’t come at me and just think.
This game is very fun, well made, and entertaining but after I’m finish playing a song in either solo, or in a battle it always asks me, “Would you like to watch a short video to get some bonus stars/money?” And I don’t really care for the bonus stars or money, so I always press the x, but either way if I press the x, it’ll always give me and ad, even though I said no, and it also doesn’t give me the stars/money. Like if you’re going to give me the ad either way, at least also give me the stars/money. It’s crazy!!! Suggestion, I have some family/friends that play this game too, and I think it would be fun to challenge them in a battle, so I suggest maybe adding a friends list thing where you can add other people as friends so you can battle them. Me personally I honk that would make the game much more fun.
I find the game to be quite amusing and fun to play but it has some minor things that the developers need to work on. For example,I really like how off brand the songs are but their still recognizable without making this a game where you’d have to pay money to get it and have the real songs. Another thing is the poor calibration that can fail you at any time or cause you to miss a note you were trying to play but the speed shifted and made you miss the note. I also wish there was a way for them to tell you what the actual song is that it’s trying to imitate without you having to guess if you don’t know the actual song. Other than that I find this game as close to rock band as I can get😂
I paid for the ad removal but there are still ads if I click on the little movie things… if I pay to remove ads I want 100% ads removal. Even the option to get extra points. Just give me the extra points… also the ads are super long. I have decided within 5 seconds if I will ever play a game. Seems like only the worst games pay to put there ads up. It’s like save the king or move the guy up the ladder games. Ads in games are going away so it’s time to start finding a new way to make money. Sell the songs for $1.00 each or something. Or add a 2nd level of ad removal that gives you the optional rewards you would normally have to watch an ad for. Free to play with ads was bearable for a while but now it’s time to focus on making great ad free games again. You wouldn’t sit at you PlayStation , Xbox etc and have to sit thru ads to play your favorite games…
This game is horribly made half the time when I press the right chord at the right time it says I missed or didn’t hit it. When you have to hold the chord I do and halfway through it says I missed it or let go of it when my finger are still on and if there’s a chord and the right and I hit it it says I missed on the left which makes no sense. Also there is no way that you are up against real people because if you slow it down and you opponent doesn’t you still finish at the same time or the other way around. You have to press two chords at the same time for some of the levels but it doesn’t let me do that if I press them at the right time at the same time it says I either missed one or I missed both which is dumb because how else are you going to win and sometimes it randomly says I missed even if there’s nothing to be played. All in all very crappy game poorly made learn to make a functional game for once because all this glitches haven’t been fixed from the start.
Devs of this don’t understand WHY people like rhythm games
In short - this game is just WAY too complicated. It tries to be Clash Royale + Guitar Hero all at once. I love both games, but just because 2 things are good doesn’t mean they’ll be good rapidly mushed together. People love games like Guitar Hero because you can select the songs you play, improve, and challenge yourself. When you get a random song and play against a random person, it’s FAR less rewarding than beating your own personal best at a song you’ve been grinding. The objective just clashes with what you want as a player, I don’t care to beat the person I’m going against I care to do good in the song.. and when I can’t challenge myself, it just doesn’t mean anything. That’s not even mentioning all the weird stuff they throw in this game for no reason, I don’t care about band members or how cool my guitar is or upgrades. More complicated ≠ better.
The mechanics of the game are fun, it is smooth and responsive. My main beef with the game is the “battle” mode. The idea is you get matched against people with around the same amount of discs as you. This would make you believe the matchmaking would be skill based, and you’d get placed against people of the same skill as you. However, i don’t believe this to be truthful. Firstly, you aren’t in a live match with someone. You are in a match against a past performance of that player on that specific song (it could all be ai tbh, we don’t know). Secondly, i’m convinced that after you get to stage two, your opponents do not scale in skill as you get more discs. I think what is happening is a “randomization” of opponents. 9/10 opponents are terrible at the game and it’s a free win. 1/10 are decent and will keep up or will beat you if you make a mistake or two. I think you get more easy opponents than those of your own skill so you keep winning and keep playing. This game would be a solid 5/5 with insane replay-ability if the matchmaking was actually skill based (someone with around the same discs and accuracy). And if the matchmaking was actually live games with little to no latency
Great game, super fun. I like that the songs are free and really close to the originals so you know what you’re playing. I would like if you could change your level to harder sooner if you wanted. I find the beginning to slow. The blue icon should also be a bit more vibrant. When you’re playing a harder level it’s a bit hard to see when it’s coming at you fast if it’s a hold or just press on blue. Also, I feel like there’s a tad bit to many ads. I completely am for watching an add for double money, but if you just click continue you also have to watch an ad which is stupid. I should be able to choose instead of being forced to watch an ad every time.
Overall this a pretty entertaining game with pretty good graphics and the tones of the song aren’t bad. What would make it better if you could do a rematch against your opponent in battle if you lose and have an option to add the players as well. Also randomizing the songs instead of choosing them and making separate online battles (Begginer,Intermediate, Advanced) would make the game rather much more interesting as well as having tournaments to earn cash, xp, etc. I’v been playing it for an hour and it’s getting repetitive. This game should have an updated as it has much potential.
I was excited to download Guitar Band after seeing the ad featuring the song 'Rush E'! As a fan of music games like Guitar Hero, I was looking forward having fun like I used to on my ps2 with this new app. While I haven't found 'Rush E' within the game's soundtrack yet I've still been having a blast playing Guitar Band. The gameplay is reminiscent of Guitar Hero, and I love the challenge of tapping along with the notes. The app has a lot of potential, and I hope the developers will consider adding more songs like 'Rush E' to the soundtrack in the future. Overall, Guitar Band is a fun music game that's perfect for fans of the genre - give it a try and see for yourself
Happy to see that there’s another app in the App Store that’s somewhat reminiscent of “tap tap revenge”, a game I loved to play as a kid. Sad to see that this app isn’t as responsive, because there’s quite a lot of instances where even if I’m hitting the correct note, the game doesn’t register the tap, so it says I missed a note. This issue is even more frequent when playing on higher skill songs, or song with a lot of incoming notes in general. Either it’s an issue with the app itself, or an issue with how, iPhone 10’s and up, register their taps because of the “being able to type without lifting your finger” feature. An edit because I got a response from the developer: This is an issue that multiple people stated in their reviews, and it had nothing to do with “response time”.
i love this game, but there is a down side i would like to talk about and fortunately it is the ads. i don’t get bothered by the ads, the thing that gets me is it’ll say “watch a short video” to get such and such, and i click the X and STILL get an ad. that’s what i don’t like. if i clicked the X, i would not like to see the ad. one more thing actually, in one song on pro “is this love” by whitesnake, the very first set of doubles (blue and green at the same time) my finger is ON IT and i’ve played MANY times just to make sure, and it continues to say that i didn’t press it or i am not holding it. that needs to be fixed, and it’s just very sensitive sometimes but other than that it is very addictive and super fun!!
As the caption says its is an amazing game, concept mwah chefs kiss game play is the exact same my only issues are 1. Some parts of certain difficulties on certain songs are extremely difficult and near impossible if not impossible 2. When in versus you and the other player, play the same song though both players can be on two separate difficulties I'm assuming based on how skilled they are. My issue here is sometimes it overestimates your skill and gives you a pro, fast paced song will they get the same fast paced song only relaxed and with less buttons to press making it extremely unfair and its all because the game assumes one player is better when its not always the case.
The game works well enough, but the songs are all bastardized versions of actual songs, and they’re really bad. They are messed with so much that most of them shouldn’t even be able to be called songs at all. I can’t stand listening to them for very long. Also, there’s no rhythm adjustments or any other useful settings to help the app to perform better on the device you’re using. The characters you can pick for your bandmates are cliche and uninspired; the same goes for all the guitars. I guess for the casual gamer this game must seem pretty good, but as a musician and a gamer, I can’t stop cringing. Still gave it 3 stats because the UI is decent and the gameplay works well.
Played a few rounds and thought wow this is kind of fun for an app rhythm game. And then immediately all that fun disappeared when you sent to a screen telling you to unlock all songs by buying their subscription. 10 bucks for a weekly subscription. Must be for crack money because evidently.. they’re smoking it. And obviously you don’t have to pay but my thought is what is up with games doing these weekly monthly and yearly subscriptions, especially an app games. it’s driving me crazy. no originality no soul no fun. This is the world. We live in now pay subscription for mediocre game. So if you think the game is fun, take advantage of that free subscription and please remember to cancel it right after. these games are getting too proud of themselves
The game itself is fun and brings back the fun memories of the good old days playing guitar hero, but it seems pointless to offer the option to watch a video ad to unlock and play a song. Every time I watch an ad to unlock a song, the song begins while I’m still stuck watching the ad. When it finally lets me exit the ad and begin playing, the music doesn’t match the notes and I’m already 1/4 of the way through the song and I’m way behind in points. For those of you that are just downloading the game and see this review, don’t watch the ads unless you want to lose every song you unlock after wasting your time watching an ad to play it.
I bought my first guitar just to find the game locking me into the store while the tutorial keeps telling me to buy a my first guitar. I figured maybe it wanted me to upgrade it after so I spent some coins upgrading to no avail. I reinstalled the game to see if that would fix it but it saved my progress anyways. As a last ditch attempt I used stars to buy another guitar figuring maybe I just bought the wrong one… nope. All the guitars are purchased but I can’t even get into the game to play my first match. They fixed this thank you!
i love the game and the concept because I miss guitar hero! However, there are a few cons to the game. 1. Way to many ads, however i won’t go into detail because it seems a lot of the other reviewers had to say the same thing. 2. Many glitches throughout the game. Songs don’t play sound after you watch an ad, and it defeats the whole purpose of the game. You also cannot collect prizes you win through events. You get stuck on a screen saying that you won and what your prize is, but it doesn’t allow you to collect or exit out of the screen (i had to restart the entire game). Safe to say I will be deleting soon unless some changes are made.
Only played the game a few hours so far, it definitely fills the guitar hero void, played GH and RB A LOT growing up and has a special place in my heart, so this game is fun. The ads are annoying and it has early guitar hero feel in the sense that the notes you play don’t match up with the sounds. They take away or add notes, so that’s annoying, but I also understand it’s a FTP game and there’s probably licensing issues and things like that. Anyway, I am enjoying it so far. If I put more time into it I’ll buy the ad free options and will update my review accordingly afterwards
This game USED to be great until they changed the notes to colored notes. Ever since they changed the look to look more like their competitor— every single time you touch a note, the fret board MOVES. It makes me soooo sick to my stomach. To clarify, when you actually hit a note on time, the board shakes just as if you missed that note— perhaps, a little less than if you missed, but it still is a very noticeable shake on the fret board. This is very very annoying. If I don’t miss a note, that board shouldn’t shake as if I missed the note. Change this back to being SMOOTH when you do good.. and I’ll be back. Otherwise, this movement makes me wayyyy to nauseous and sick to play for any amount of time. Thanks for hearing me.
So recently I’ve been in love with this game. I love playing until I’m out of energy points and trying what the songs are supposed to be based on. You would think the game would get old pretty fast but it really doesn’t. I would like some new songs though because I’ve already unlocked everything and playing the same songs gets kind of boring at times. I have a couple ideas: A song called “Two” (based on Metallica’s One), “Cut Suey” (based on System Of A Down’s Chop Suey), and “Don’t Weep” (based on Guns And Roses’s Don't Cry). The sound keeps crashing for this latest update. Now with better songs (no more “sound-a-likes”, real ones!!!) so I am hoping this doesn’t last. Update - it does look like an attempt was made to fix bugs, but they are not completely gone. A lot of the bugs I see have something to do with the way the advertisements integrate with the game itself, the last one was not getting the reward to be issued after the watching the video. Basically like you hadn’t watched it at all, even though you did. The sound or game play crashing in the middle of a song/battle has been cleared up, that is good news!
What’s up... great game but why is there no update make new songs add new guitars something why only give your game fans the same stuff over and over and over like can’t you add new music? New characters? New instruments? New anything people play this with only have a small limited option add something new or people will continue to get board try something different add 5 strings or something don’t over look this add new things people will want new things add prices or whatever either way is good just please please please add something
I’m a big fan of rhythm games and also a very big fan of guitar hero. The moment I downloaded and stared playing this I immediately thought that it wasn’t it gonna be as good as I thought it would, and I was right. First off, this is a rhythm game but there’s barely any “rhythm”, most of the notes aren’t even in time. The notes are very confusing, especially the long ones. It’d be better if you made it clearer to recognize which note is which. Second, I hate the fact that it makes absolutely no noise when you press a note, it just doesn’t feel right. Third, after you press a note, they don’t disappear which is very confusing since I won’t know if it was a miss or if I hit it in time. That’s just my opinion though, I just don’t think this game is very well made.
Either give me my money back or give me the HUNDREDS of hours I spent on this game worth it
I deleted this game to save space and then when I re-downloaded it, everything is gone. Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of hours just wasted. Literally have to start back at level one and it is telling me I don’t have ad remover anymore. This is fraudulent behavior and I want my money back or I want all my items. I was 100% maxed out on everything which took a insane amount of time to do and I’m not going to redo it. I highly recommend not downloading the game as if you need space and need to delete it for a week or so, you’ll lose 100% everything and need to use your cash again to buy things back which should be illegal. DONT RECOMMEND.
This game is unplayable with how many ads there are. The game itself is fun and you find yourself rocking out to it ,seeing famous musicians and guitars makes you want to play it more. But for making an in game purchase, I feel I should at least also have access to more songs instead of spending $60 a year for VIP access and still having to watch ads to unlock other songs I can play in Battle mode… Overall a fun game but would be more fun with access to more songs and bug fixes. With Battle mode if you leave the screen notes won’t appear but your opponent is still racking up a score.
This game really is the best guitar rhythm game out in the App Store! However I do have some complaints such as the constant AD pop ups after every single song you play. Another take back would be the limited songs they offer right now and the difficulty it is to unlock many of them through medals. Despite these setbacks I hope to see this game continuing to grow as I believe it is the popularity of this game that is limiting these features mentioned from changing. (Please add Reptilia as a song!!)
This app is amazing based solely on the knock off songs, it’s great listening to the songs figuring out what song it’s a knock off of and listing how close they get to the actual version of the song without crossing over in copyright infringement, the gameplay it’s self is pretty much what you’d expect from a guitar hero or rock band type game, it can be a little laggy or jumpy at points but it’s not too bad at least not that I can tell overall it’s not bad game but it definitely need some polishing, but overall I give it a 5/5 because of the knock off songs
It’s a great game filled with soooo many songs with changes to the titles. But the only problem I I’m having with this game is being able to actually hear it, it’s like I turn my sound on and play away but there still isn’t any audio. I turn off my bluetooth cause I usually have my phone connect to a speaker, and when the sound is all the way up on my phone, once again no sound whatsoever. If there’s a settings button in the game it’s certainly nothing I’m ever going to find. But overall it is a real fun game.
This is now one of my new favorite mobile games I have. I like that you can choose from lots of different famous guitars, songs and that the songs are in each difficulty. I play this game so much and it’s so fun. I’m a big fan of the band KISS and I was excited when I saw Rock and Roll All Nite, Detroit Rock City, Callin’ Dr. Love, Strutter, and Love Gun. I just wish there were more KISS songs to choose from. It would be cool if there were some System of a Down songs, Metallica songs, or even Down With the Sickness by Disturbed. Other than that, I love it.
I love rhythm games. I was obsessed with guitar and this game is similar to it but honestly I’m annoyed with this game a bit. When I do a battle and just accept the no ad reward the next screen asks if I want to watch a video for some coins. I tap the X because I don’t want to watch an ad. Why would there be an ad after tapping the X. It’s unfair and not right you would do that. Another thing, it seems to be buggy a bit. Whenever I play a song and then an ad plays the volume for the next song is gone. Then the volume for the menu is gon. Fix this!!! It’s a fun game but I’m pretty bothered by a few things.
I’d say the people who made the game didn’t put that much effort and time into the game. It is overall a good game, though it is hard to win sometimes. Play the scenario, I was just trying to play the game and I got beaten by the “real person” and I got a 99% and the “real person” got a 86%and beat me. I swear start putting effort into the game people! I also don’t think that you are playing against real people. Because whenever you use the pedal the other player does it at the same time. Finally, it sometimes says that I either missed a note or during it says that I let go of it when I press a double note.
This game is very fun and I’ve been playing it almost everyday for the whole month, but from now on every time I try to do the battle mode it puts me up against an opponent, but it never does the countdown to start the game and it just gets stuck on that screen, so I have to restart the game and every time I come back to the game I lose discs because the game thinks that I lost that battle. It is just very annoying and I can’t play any battle games because I lose all my discs.
This game is really beneficial for I play guitar, it’s a good game to play in general. Although I have found a problem, not sure if it’s just me though. When I try playing the game my screen freezes. Either it’s all black or just stuck on the game. Sometimes when I get out of the game the music still plays unless I go into another app, even if my phone is off. Kind of impossible to play when this occurs, I hope this gets fixed soon so I can play some music again. Other than that I found this game really fun.
This game is great and is fun but the ads in this game are so annoying, every time you finish a match a ad pops up and when I press no it still plays one but for less time. I clicked no because I don’t want to see but it don’t let me lick no just plays a less timed ad. Fix the ads because it’s too much. Also when I watch an ad to play a song it lets me join after it is played a little bit. It’s a good game and all and I enjoy it but kill some ads and the how they work.
To be fair, I have spent a lot of time playing this game and reached a somewhat high level. Right now, I am level bronze, so I have been playing for a while and have not noticed any improvement if the issues I have with the game over the past two months. The ads are extremely annoying. When you try to disable an ad, it usually makes a pop up with a link to the App Store instead which is annoying. The biggest issue I have is with the gameplay itself. From time to time, my game glitches and only allows 1 of the 2 notes during double notes to be played, meaning I’ll lose 1/2 of all double notes through the entire song. Sometimes the music just cuts completely, which makes the game less enjoyable since you’re then just pressing buttons rhythmically. Overall, I think that this game is fun for what it is, but it could benefit significantly from fixing these bugs and less in your face advertisements.
Great Game, if you like clone hero or gutair hero then you will love this game. The only problem is the ads and no custom maps. But I like that there is insane deals to remove ads. Like for instance, there is one where you can remove ads and get money and coins for 2$.Also I love that’s there is single player so when you really want to play like clone hero or play outside with no WiFi. Oh and PLEASE add custom maps this game will be like a mini clone hero please add that in the game. Overall good game if your reading this then have a good day.😃
It seems like every other week there is a new bug in the game, and the developers are totally non-responsive. The latest is that in Event mode, once you finish and place on the leaderboard and go to collect your winnings, there isn’t an actual “Collect” button. Once it shows you on the pedestal you can’t get out of the screen without closing the app. It’s like they forgot to add a button to accept your actual prize. Because of this I can’t do any future events, as it won’t let my claim my very first one when I was #1 in the event. 🙄
So I was looking for a new mobile game to play because I was bored, so since I’m into rock music, I thought I’d look for a game that has that in it, and sure enough I found this one. I love playing this game so much! However, I wish there were more songs, such as “Stricken” by Disturbed and a couple more of his songs. If you all added that I would be playing this game every single day! Please take consideration into my request. Thank you. :)
