Okay, could use improvements
To start off, if you’re using this app just to clip coupons and use your Hannaford rewards, this absolutely gets the job done. I’ve started using the “shopping list” feature, and I really do love it! You can sort the list by department (default), or by aisle. There are a couple of things I think would improve the shopping list feature. First, it would be helpful if the app could remember how you sorted your list when you go back into the app. I prefer to sort my list by aisle, and it’s annoying to have to set that every time I I open my list, especially since this app runs a little slow. Another thing that would be useful is the ability to delete things from your list if they are out of stock. Right now, if an item is out of stock, it’s greyed out, and you cannot interact with the item. I have things that are just sitting on my list because they’re out of stock, and I can’t delete them. Overall, a pretty good app. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Useful, but buggy, sloooooow and crashes
I’m so frustrated by this app. I store my usual shopping items in a shopping list, and select those I need to add to my basket for my weekly shop. So I need this app, it’s so useful to me and if it runs well, then it saves me soo much time in doing my grocery shop. If it runs well. If. After selecting the boxes it’s a toss up if it’ll crash or add everything . Restart the app.. try again.. Ugh. Today I’ve tried to use the app, but it’s just not happening. I’ve restarted it over and over, but I guess it’s too busy? No other app I have has these issues. Every week I select the things I want on my shopping list, scroll up to the top the add.. ok dreaded white screen, selections gone, start again.. long list, takes a long time.. PLEASE FIX APP! Why so long since bug fixes??? There’s so many bugs! App support: please fix this bug - I select a lot of things in my shopping list, then I click the top to get up to the add to cart button. Unless I only have a small number of items the app crashes, and I spend another 20 min selecting all my items again. Please please fix this. I hate it. So frustrating.

Good, could be better
I use the app to write my food order every week. It’s nice to have my list organized by aisle. As I go through the store i remove each item from my list as I put it in my cart. I do wish the app had the ability to remember your basic list so you don’t have to start all over again every week. The big problem with the app is how slow it is. I’ve shut it down altogether in frustration but then I’ve still got to wait for it to load. Once you’re in the app it’s not always better. If I want to search something while I’m shopping I have to wait for that item to come up and then wait for it to get back into my shopping list. It’s a good app that could be much better.

This app lacks basic logic
When searching for items to put in your cart the items it suggests make absolutely zero sense. For example search coffee, you’d expect hannaford brand coffees to come up first followed but name brands and then random specialty items. Instead you get 100 kinds of single drink coffees from dunkin. It makes no sense. Also it would make sense if the app suggested the coffee you got last time. But scrolling thru 200 items to find basic Hannaford canned coffee is ridiculous. You cannot be too specific in your search either before that just says “no matches”. Also, you cannot use EBT or WIC on the app directly so I have to do it in the parking lot at the store. Where the scanners often don’t work. So I wind up inside to pay, defeating the purpose of to-go pick up. I do like that when you clip a coupon ypu have a link to accepted products for the coupon. That makes sense!

Not great for delivery
The app functions fine, but I have one major issue with it: the fact you cannot select which Hannaford you want delivery from. I love 7 minutes away from two different ones in opposite directions, but one happens to be an extra few hundred feet away so I can never order from there, it always makes me go with the other one. The one that is slightly closer is very frequently sold out of items, and I can tell the other one is not by looking at it as if it was a pick up order. This would be fine if I were able to do pick up but unfortunately I am not and have to go with delivery. This honestly usually forces me to get groceries from somewhere else, even though I’d rather go through Hannaford. I think we should have an option to pick which store it’s coming from, even if that means a small extra delivery fee depending on the distance.

Worst app I have ever used.
I never write app reviews, but this one is so bad I had to. It is SO unbelievably slow. Every single time you click a button, the app freezes. Every single time. Added an item to your cart? Now you can’t do anything else until the app catches up. Trying to clip a digital coupon? Sorry, app is frozen again. Trying to continue scrolling after you stop to look at an item? Frozen. It is truly maddening and makes your shopping take FOREVER. It’s a problem no matter how recently I’ve updated both my phone and the app. I just don’t get how it can be so bad. You also cannot swipe right to go back to the page you were just visiting, which nearly every other app allows, so if you lose your place or want to go back, too bad. The search bar is basically useless if you’re trying to find a specific item. I love being able to do my shopping online but wow, this is so so frustrating. Cmon guys.

Clumsy website/app
So, I’m grateful that this service is available, and when you get to the store, the staff is absolutely top-notch. I’ve experienced multiple problems with ordering and scheduling, however. I avoid Walmart whenever possible but when I had to use their website site and app, it makes sense and is effortless pickup. The navigability from search to my list to cart, back and forth is poorly designed and frustrating. Product descriptions mostly disappear without selecting and blowing them up, they’re poorly organized alphabetically by whatever word was randomly assigned to the beginning, and similar items are named in a different manner. When I drive in to pick up it’s acceptably efficient, but now I can’t schedule a pickup within 48 hours—too long! Hannaford needs to get a real web/app developer to do this right and I’d love it. It’s worth it, even if shoppers return to the store. Some will continue to want this kind of service.

Good app for its design. A few flaws
I like the overall navigation of the new app. Some of the bugs I have found are you can’t exit out of the Checkout screen once you tap checkout. You have to literally close the app to get back to any other screens. It now defaults to delivery vs. pickup…I am sure that is by design, but you don’t really know it as a user until you check out, which may alter the time the user would have chosen from the beginning. Some images never populate for some items, even the “sorry image not available” image doesn’t come up. It’s just blank. I would also provide a way in app to provide feedback vs. having to post here.

The buggiest app on my phone
I shop mostly at hannaford for groceries since I live so close to one, but holy cow is this app poorly programmed. Any other app that crashes as often as this one would be off my phone, the only reason I keep it around is so I can check and clip my “for you” coupons but I really would love to know what resources you have dedicated to this app because there’s no reason it should be as glitchy and buggy as it is. Do you have app testers and do they experience the same number of bugs and you just ship it anyways? just trying to click the side menu will crash the app sometimes, there are so many different ways it’s crashed on me I don’t even know how I can provide helpful feedback other than advising that whoever is charge of managing this app needs a new team or a bigger team or both.

App feedback
I’d like to chime in with others that for creating a list and clipping coupons this app is fine. But if you’re looking to pick up or get delivery the app needs a functionality facelift. As others mentioned look at the Walmart and Target apps for good functionality. When I land on the Home Screen of the app and I have an order in process or ready to pick up it should be right up front. And I should not have to open the side menu to buy frequently purchased items. I would love to see a bottom menu since that’s easier to access by my thumbs. And I could open: previous purchases, favorites/lists, coupons, or cart. I think burying some much under my account or the side bar is bad user experience and should be reconsidered in a major app update.

Slow to open
Once open the app is great, but it takes forever to open most of the time. The average for me has been about 5 minutes of watching it spin and load. It’s quit frustrating if I try to open it while I’m shopping because I end up missing out on deals but now I just open it before I even get to the store and wait for it to fully load. I clip coupons and if I get to the store and need to see more details on the coupon i’m out of luck if my apps not already open because I either have to waste time waiting for it to load (which might be why it’s designed that way) or I just don’t end up buying something. Version is the current one, hopefully an update comes out soon to fix this.

Slow, crashes, constantly have to login
I think my title says it all but just in case you want me to explain a little bit more, this app is very slow when you open it can sometimes take up to a minute or more to load up properly. And when you’re standing in line at the grocery store and all you wanna do is give them your Hannaford‘s reward number it’s in it’s embarrassing to have to stand there wait and then it sometimes logs you off and you have to log back in standing at the register. Lastly this app used to have a sort/filter button for coupons and no longer does. I don’t know why the developers would take that button away but it is frustrating to have to sift through coupons you don’t need to get to the coupons you do need. And there are always the same coupons, never new ones

New bug
When you are in the coupons and you want to scroll it bounces back like it’s hit a ceiling & doesn’t allow you to roll up.. it’s stuck ..then when it does finally work for you it can’t roll back down .. you should see me at the grocery store trying to look for, navigate this app & use my coupons .. And sometimes the coupons won’t even come off on your order . and I might just have this problem but it never remembers my email & password .. I love the easy to read features and colors.. this new glitch is annoying but can live with it. I was contacted by the app help which was really amazing!! I uninstalled the app & reinstalled & it didn’t change anything :(

Bad - now better update
I recently got the updated app. It now is asking me to log in with my email address. When I try to sign in, it tells me it doesn’t recognize the info. When I try to create an account, it tells me there is a problem. I’m giving up. I guess I’ll just lose my rewards. Bad upgrade Hannaford. Update: in fairness to Hannaford, I want to update my review from 1 star to 4. I was able to contact support who helped me realize that my account was setup under my old email address. Fortunately I was able to still access my old email account and retrieve my password reset email. All is working well now, thanks!

Truly Awful - slow and unresponsive
I’ve been using this app since it first came out and there have been no improvement to how slow it runs, or when it just doesn’t respond. It’s particularly bad when I get push notifications, as with coupons. It refuses to open the coupon page. I can scroll up and down on the main page, but can’t click anything. I force close the app and try again, and it might work after about a dozen tries, but is still slow. The website does this too, but when it works, the app is easier to navigate. For instance, it took a full minute for me to clip a coupon. I pressed on it and it grayed it out instantly but didn’t clip it for an entire minute. Meanwhile, I tried clipping another coupon and that one worked. I had to refresh the page and try again.

About To Give Up on App
I really liked this app for a very long time.. the past year or so has been very disappointing in so many ways. A. Poor internet in the stores. The “Oops, something went wrong. Try again” message is frustrating. It is the rule vs the exception. B. Losing the app due to crashing in the middle of shopping is infuriating. C. Not recognizing the User name and PW info even at the register- discouraging. D. When trying to manually put your Hannaford info in so credit for your purchases is applied, is inconsistent due to above and worn out keyboards. E. Logging into the app in the parking lot will work but then once in the store the “oops”message appears or your logged out and have to log back in while shopping. Love Hannaford… really do and for many many reasons. Def my go to grocery store…but I have had hundreds of dollars of purchases not apply due to the above reasons. It’s disappointing and frustrating to go thru the effort to use the app, shop name brand, clip coupons, etc. only to have to deal with A-E at any given time. I’m seriously not sure this is all worth it any longer.

Recent update (Oct 2021)
Thanks to the recent update, you now scroll through the weekly flyer instead of it going side to side as if you were flipping through it, which is merely just an annoyance rather than a problem. The problem is that you can no longer zoom in on the weekly flyer which makes reading it on the app nearly impossible. Also, whenever I try to view the specials and try to view a certain category (grocery, meat, etc) the app always glitches and won’t let me go through the drop down menu to select a category. Every single time. This happened with previous app versions but you would think it would be fixed by now.

Rewards
I love the Hannaford App and all that it offers. However I wish there was an option to “unclip” a coupon? There have been times where I accidentally clipped a coupon I wasn’t ready to use but there is no way for me to “unclip” it therefore if I wasn’t ready to use my coupon I would not be able to to put in my phone number at check out because it would automatically come off. The only option would be for me not to put in my phone number there for losing out on potentially more rewards. Please add an “unclip” option or not ready to use at this time.

Practically unusable
Similarly to others, I never write app reviews but I simply had to for this one. It takes the app ages to load literally anything, and oftentimes I find myself having to press the same directives multiple times in order for the app to respond. It functions especially poorly on cellular data, if at all. I typically have no problems with any apps or the minor frustrations they cause, however this app is unusable a majority of the time. I’m actually astounded that the reviews aren’t lower, because I have no idea how someone could enjoy using this app. Words cannot describe how abhorrent this app is - I only want to be able to clip coupons and apply my rewards. I’m literally begging you hannaford, pleaaaaase address the functionality (or complete lack thereof) of this app!!!

Pretty good
This is my first time using HTG. The app is so much more user friendly than the old web site. For the most part I love this. The only negative I have is in refining a search. I am a gluten free eater and it’s hard to search for what I need. It wouldn’t search by my brands. Also the app is a little slow and quite often the pictures or nutrition information would show up so it was impossible sometimes to be sure I was getting the right item. It’s essential for someone with food allergies to be able to at least read the ingredients to be sure they are getting the proper item.

Inconsistent/not reliable
It has all the makings to be a great app, but it rarely loads well. I don’t know if it’s a server issue, or if the platform they use is severely out of date, but it’s one of the slowest apps on my phone by a long shot. It also doesn’t keep up with their marketing. I just got an email saying new coupons are available, so I went in and tried to clip them. It took 10 minutes for the app to even open (I’m on my home WiFi, having not other issues with any other app on my phone), and then when it finally did I’m hitting “clip” and it won’t actually clip. It just spins and loads and then says error. Why send a marketing email advertising new coupons if your site can’t allow you to utilize them? It’s not just this time, it’s pretty constant. It is otherwise a good app content and organization wise, and when it does work, it’s great. But it’s such a headache when it doesn’t and it seems like it should be a pretty easy fix for them to modernize the platform so this doesn’t always happen.

App is good, but rarely works in my local store in Cairo, NY. So it’s a big disappointment.
I loved the idea of this. I like Hannaford. It isn’t cheap though. So using this app helps a lot and really encourages people to shop there because of the rewards system. I used to go through the coupons and clip a lot. It’s a good marketing tool for them because I also clip things I wouldn’t normally buy because they are a good deal. I used to use it more, but every time I go into the store I can’t open it. I’ve spoken to Hannaford staff (who have told me it’s a common complaint), I’ve emailed. Nothing. I now only use Hannaford as a last resort. I go to other stores because their prices are lower. So yes, the app is good - but it’s only good if the store supports it.

OK for coupons, very poor for shopping
If you’re only using the app to clip coupons and check your My Hannaford rewards, then it does an OK job of that. However, I’ve tried to use the app as a shopping list on more than one occasion at this point, and it is so incredibly slow and buggy, it’s practically unusable. I don’t like standing in the middle of an aisle for a couple of minutes waiting for the app to load (even though Hannaford’s website loads quickly). It also had a tendency to forget what items had been checked off. Definitely needs work and an offline mode. This is one of those apps that I wonder if the developers have even tried to use it themselves out in the wild…

Please note I love this service and staff are incredibly nice and my order is always right. That being said the app is not that easy to use. If you don’t type exactly the product name you can’t find it. I would love to be able to create a favorite list and just be able to add things to that and then select what I want at that time. I know you have recent purchases but it’s not categorized by type. If you look at Walmart’s app it is incredibly easy. If you could find a way to get close to that. You can also check in via app vs having to call. Thank you again for having the service.

Logs off mid trip
I only use this app for coupons and it works great for that about half the time. The app seems to constantly log me out for no apparent reason. This is especially infuriating when I’m in the back of the store with little cell reception staring at yogurt and trying to figure out what I have a coupon for! I have to walk to the front of the store and log back in while hoping that I remembered my password. Consequently I have reset my password from the store several times. I seriously do not understand why the app can’t stay logged in or at least remember my login info. The old version of this app was way better.

Suggestion
I love this app and use it often! One suggestion I have is being able to add any items I have clipped a coupon for to be added to my shopping list… right now you can add them to your cart but not the a shopping list. I usually just scroll through my coupons but the app moves very slow in the store and causes a lot of frustration. I’d like to use the shopping list in the app but I don't want to have to search and add in addition to clipping the coupons. Thank you.

Worst app ever used
This app has never worked properly. It locks up constantly, drops orders, doesn’t allow you to select a time for your order pickup (for example if you click on wednesday at 3, it will freeze and not save your time. Select it again, same thing freeze and not save the time, etc.) I usually have to exit the app several times for it to “reset” and unfreeze. This update has made it even worse! Anything you search it now shows a “loading” icon and locks at 50%, 70%, 65%, and so on! I have to delete the app to reset it every time I look something up! Who has the time to sit around for an hour to place a simple order? The absolute worst app and update ever! We depend on it especially during Covid. Let’s get it together folks.

What took me so long to try HTGO
They pick out high quality veggies, fruits, steak cuts, deli meat/ cheese!!! The HTGo also saves my family time and money because I can know exactly how much I’m spending in my cart versus in the store experience. I’m saving my family hundreds by switching. Also the husband loves it because it makes his life easier when I need him to pick up groceries. I wish they was an option to use our own bags and the ability to buy flowers online too. Hopefully that becomes an option:)

Horrible functionality
This app is so incredibly frustrating. Almost every time I click on something while putting in an online order, it loads a blank white screen, and I have to close the app and reopen it to make it go away. I’d say about 80% of the time I try to open my cart, click departments, or click on an item, I get an error message forcing me to also restart the app. This makes the whole online shopping process take me about an hour which is just insane. If you want to charge people to use the grocery pickup you could at least make the app usable. Shaw’s does not charge a fee for pickup and their app is flawless. I might just drive the extra 8 miles out of town for Shaw’s instead.

The slowest, most glitchy app
I like the concept and I use this app a lot. However, I find myself getting really frustrated at how slow and glitchy it is. Any category I press takes a long time to load. If I type an item, it usually freezes and takes a long time just to process what I am typing. Then an even longer time to wait for all the items to show. The screen will lag a lot to the point where if I press on an item or category, it’ll take me to the one above or below it. This makes it a tedious process and it would be a much better experience if they worked on how frustratingly laggy it is. I have a fast, newer phone and can’t imagine how much worse it must be on older phones

Slow Shopping App
The concept of the app is great. I just wish it would consistently load. Even when it does load, it’s slow or it says it encountered an error and crashes. It takes forever to make a shopping list, and most of the time I use my notepad on my phone for that. That’s really disappointing because I can’t shop by aisle according to the app and I can’t submit orders for grocery pick up. I have the most current version of the app and good cell service so I really don’t understand the issue. I hope you can resolve it soon so I can fully utilize the app as it is intended.

Always listening…
Users beware! This app is always- and I mean always- listening. There is no option to turn off the microphone access. However, if you discuss cats - and have never even purchased anything for a cat - anywhere in the world, Hannaford will then populate your coupon section with cat food coupons. I demonstrated this to my middle school students with both cats (to which I am highly allergic and would never own) and baby products (my youngest is about to begin middle school). The lack of consideration for consumer privacy or giving one the ability to opt out of their intrusive listening practices is appalling. Another consumer failure for Hannaford.

WiFi requirement is terrible, crashes, etc
Firstly, when I tried to sign up for the rewards program/app near launch I was unable to as Hannaford had flagged my last name as an “inappropriate word”. So that was quite a hassle. Currently, the requirement that you be connected to WiFi for the app to even work is absurd. In Maine where there is not always internet coverage, why would this be a requirement? I don’t like that it essentially forces you to connect to the stores (questionable) WiFi if you need to check the app while shopping. I don’t understand why literally every other app I use is able to function over data except Hannaford. In addition - when connected to WiFi - I experience frequent app crashes, drop down menus which don’t load/don’t allow me to select as well as images which don’t load, and options which refuse to load (I.e clicking “specials” and nothing happens). And yes, my phone has all updates and is running the recent version of the app. This app honestly makes the paper circular preferable, even if I miss out on promotions/coupons.

What a Joke
This is one of the worse online applications. Many of the items don’t have pictures. Trying to find certain items are impossible to find. The search results are ridiculous. Looking for “bread” it gave me shrimp for a first results. When trying to finish the order I had to call the store. The person was reading word for word off a list. Starting with telling me how to add to cart. When I already had a list going. The checkout processes took 20 mins but was only a few questions. I understand my grammar isn’t the best, but it’s still better then this app. Definitely not using this application again.

Wrong prices, will charge for way more
If you try and get a to go delivery and let’s say you want to buy $30 worth of groceries, you will most likely get charged an extra $20 because not only do they charge 10$ in delivery fee (shipping is free but delivery is not), apparently they either cannot update the prices in the app from the actual store OR they are overcharging you and then will say afterwards “oh this product just went up” even when i just bought it for 5 dollars less. Also i notice how your employees don’t bother in going to drop off the products in your apartment if you don’t tip more than 20%, which makes you look really bad Hannaford, and that is actually so nasty.

Sloooooww, so slow
I love the concept of this app but it’s annoying how slow it is to load. I could clip a whole bunch by hand by the time I even get to look at this. Also recommend to sort them by food and non food items. I have to sort it several times just to look at the food items and avoid all the detergents and beauty items. So I either have to go through all of them or wait……for each filter to load grocery, frozen, dairy, etc. I would think food or non-food would cover it for most. But I’m sure some appreciate the finer breakdown.

App needs work
This app does the bare minimum to qualify as an app. The search features need a lot of work. There is no way to organize your search items. For instance, if you want Campbell’s chicken noodle soup, you may get 150 results but the actual campbells chicken noodle items are scattered within the search, so you have to look at all 150 items. Then there is the problem with loading your shopping lists. Mine will absolutely not load on the app. That means I have to search for each item to add it to my to go order. This app could do so much more with even a minimal amount of effort. Let’s hope Hannaford is up to the task.

Good service, not so good app
I love the service and use it a lot but the app leaves a lot to be desired. Item pictures with descriptions would be ideal. It would also be helpful to be able to get the opportunity to go back to editing right before checkout. I found myself needing to add something else but finding it necessary to check out and finish then go back and add or remove an item after I get my confirmation email which is a pain but the only way to do it. The app has come a long way and I’m hoping that it will continue to just get better.

Scrolling needs some love
Overall this app is so easy, whether to clip coupons or track rewards. I live the personalized coupons, and they’re often spot in. But there’s a glitch for me in scrolling. You can’t just click anywhere on the screen; my workaround is either to cancel the app complete and start over or drag from the very top or bottom of my screen, above/below the coupons and that mostly works. The app is easy but the scrolling is a bit of a bummer.

Difficulty loading app every time I need to access.
Every time I need to access this app I have to close out and reopen several times before I can get it to load, doesn't matter if I am on my home WiFi or cellular data. Once I am able to open the app I often have trouble accessing coupons or viewing my rewards, so I usually need to close out and reopen more-the status circle just spins and spins. I'm also constantly being signed out, so when I need to access the app or clip coupons in a jiffy, it's never a quick process.

Needs MAJOR Improvements
App takes forever to load and once it finally does, it is almost always initially unresponsive to touch commands. I will often have to touch “coupons” 5 or more times in order to get the Coupons section to even open. Once in the coupons section, clipping a coupon usually only takes a single touch. Thankfully the app has been this way since I download it forever ago I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and it does not fix this problem. I don’t have this issue with any other app on my phone so it’s not on my end.

Improvements needed for self shopping list
I only use the app for creating my shopping list and using that to help navigate the store. Couple improvements that would help: While building list: 1. “Add to List” takes 2 clicks when it should really be one. Should be able to set the list working with currently and extra clicks would change away from the current one. 2. Unable to easily adjust quantity of items within going into the list. Should have a +/- right when adding it to the list 3. Search bar should be lowered so it is always accessible (only saw this problem on the website actually) While shopping: 4. List should sort by Aisle rather than by department by default 5. After checking off each item, it would be nice to have it turn gray and moved to the bottom of the list to be out of the way Certainly a good start but would love to see these issues addressed to improve the experience! Very poor password instruction
In trying to set up an app account, instructions clearly state at least 8 letters, numbers, capitals are requested while special characters are allowed when creating a password. EVERY TIME I tried to set up a pw, it was rejected. *Every time!* I finally found an 800 number and the service person helped me. Only letters and numbers, it turns out. NO special characters. For your customers’ sake, please correct those instructions. The woman who helped me said she has reported this to you repeatedly. When your own service reps say they’ve reported it on repeat, I believe it is on you to do the follow through and correct the problem.

Slow and buggy and crashes constantly
This app is slow at all times and constantly unresponsive when I need it most, such as when I am in the store trying to access my shopping list, which leaves me stranded. And it’s not a reception problem, since I am able to access every other network connected app just fine. It also signs me out at very random and inopportune times. Every time I try to access the app on a day when coupons are released, the app will just crash. I typically have to wait at least and hour or two before I can get access.

I give up
This app is awful and has gotten progressively worse since I’ve had it. It is so incredibly slow and completely freezes when trying to do a simple search or create an order for pick up. I’ve made sure it’s not a phone issue, and based on all the other reviews in the last year, this is a shared disappointing and frustrating experience. Recently it automatically switched my store to a different location and I couldn’t find the groceries I had paid for. I hate to say it, but this might lead to me abandoning hannaford altogether as I’m feeling inclined to pick a grocery store with a more user friendly app

Quan saves my life every week
I don’t think these young men and women know what a great service they provide to us. I’m immunocompromised and every week Quan seems to get my order. He doesn’t know I’m sick, I don’t look sick. He is the kindest soul and doesn’t judge me for needing this wonderful service. Everyone in Wynantskill Hannaford is a gift, I can’t tell them enough when they bring my groceries out, just how much I appreciate them and what they do for me.

Almost unusable
The app worked alright a year or 2 ago and I was able to at least navigate around the app, but now I can’t even click buttons or load anything on it. I have to close out the app multiple times because it gets stuck on one screen or I can only scroll not view the menu. And again I can’t even click the buttons to bring me to other screens, they just don’t work. I love the concept of the app and it was great for my rewards and coupons but now I can’t even access them. If that gets fixed then the app will be 5 stars.

Half the time coupons don’t work
It’s a cool app. It’s great when it works. It used to work all the time up till a few months ago when suddenly half the coupons stopped working when clipped in the app. The cashier told me when you clip them too soon before shopping they don’t always work. I’m going to try to do better clipping them the day before shopping, but I do tend to shop spontaneously when it’s convenient and don’t plan all my grocery shopping ahead. Best of luck with the app! It’s certainly worth a shot if you don’t already have it! 😃

Love Hannaford - hate the app
Slowwwwwww!!!! I do a lot of orders through apps for pickup and I find myself going elsewhere even though other stores are more expensive, just because their app is better. This app is not user friendly, painfully slow, and not really set up well. If I’m in a department I shouldn’t have to scroll all the way up in order to use the back button, it should follow you as you scroll. It freezes constantly, and forget trying to up the quantity - that freezes things the most. Pleaseeeee spend a little time and a little money and fix the app to be at least comparable with other stores

Love the concept of the app and rewards, but when your app runs correctly like 30% of the time and then just doesn’t allow you to click anything/go anywhere the other 70%, it means it needs to be fixed. As a hannaford employee, I had to explain SO MANY TIMES that no, it wasnt the customer’s fault, but the app itself. Only reason this has decent reviews is that these older folks don’t even know that it isn’t their own inexperience w tech causing the issues. Your app is designed to clip and save coupons/rewards. Step it up, hannaford claims to be so community friendly, so ya’ll corpos could give at least that much back.
