It’s so awesome to be able to have an app that keeps up with the contributions of family and friends. We can not wait until we can take the honeymoon of our dreams.
We found out our wedding guests had been contributing and their money was never coming through. Half of the guests cards got declined and the other half had no clue it didn’t work. We had to sheepishly send out a message to our wedding guests saying that if they tried to use it we never received anything and to make sure they didn’t lose the money. When I contacted honey fund they were no help and we ended up dealing with this only a few days right before the wedding. Very stressful. On top of that my husband and I did a test run on it and it only worked for us??? We literally had a friend try it right in front of us, then my parents, and his and nobody had it work for them.
The idea of the app overall is cute with how you can customize it and set up your funds, etc. But the app itself is total garbage. It’s so laggy. The photos never fit in the frame with how you adjusted it. It always logs me out. I was creating my website on my phone via a browser and I was like “oh this is so bad, let me just get the app.” Assuming it would be 10x better. No, it’s not lol. They really need to work on the app bugs and glitches…
Would be a great app if you could deposit the funds received instantly into your bank account just like with applepay, cashapp, Venmo, PayPal, etc. I don’t understand why you can set up an account instantly and start moving money around within minutes with the above apps but not with HoneyFund. Also, you have to scan a government issued ID and go through a biometric photo taking process. This would be fine IF after your identity was successfully verified; you had the option of depositing YOUR funds into YOUR accounts instantly.
It’s so nice being able to have access to our Honeyfund using the app. We’ve been able to make changes on the go which has been great during this hectic time in our lives. We can’t wait to be able to have the honeymoon of our dreams with the help of our loving family and friends. Thanks Honeyfund!
The Honeyfund app is very easy to use and set up. I’ve had my honeyfund set up since I got engaged two years before my wedding. My family and friends have used it through my engagement and shower and now our wedding. Highly recommend for couples looking to use their registry for travel.

Honeyfund has been such a great wedding registry alternative and I’m so glad we’re using them. The app however is a little clunky and difficult to navigate. Not unusable, but I definitely prefer the website over the app at this point.
I deleted this app because I had to block a phone number and an email due to receiving multiple texts and emails every single day since I downloaded the app. It was so freaking annoying. I didn’t even figure out how to use it but the excessive messaging was just too much.
