overall i’d say the app is in best condition. one thing that i wish could be changed in the future, is sometimes my app won’t let me login in the middle of the night/ early morning. that’s my dinner time for me. i’ll go to use my face ID and it’ll just load and load and load. but other than that, no complaints. great app, i find it easy to navigate, and great costumer service through chat and phone call. thanks.
The app opens fine and allows you to see bank information on the first page but if you try to transfer, click on your account details, look for ach deposits it won’t let you go past the first page of your summary. Been doing this for the past few weeks. Up until then it functioned properly all the time. I keep having to delete the app off my phone and reinstall it. It will work the first couple of times maybe then back to the same problem. And it’s not my WiFi. I’ve tried it with and without and the same problem exists. Just better to not use the app until this gets fixed.
I have different accounts and I have to use the Face ID for one and the written login for the other. It would be nice to link all accounts into one place so I don’t have to switch back and forth. Other than that, I like all the features and log into the app frequently to deposit checks and check ACH deposits and withdrawals. Now if you could figure out a way to deposit cash I’d never have to go to the physical building ever! 😉
Really nice app but you need to make it easier for us to see our account balances without having to go through several different pages to see it. Like the finger print ID but should be upon entering the app with a quick look at your balances on the first page. I have accounts with other banks and that’s one feature that I do love and do think other CU members would also appreciate. Thank you
Online check deposit is CRAP it says most checks posted in minutes and thats a complete LIE. I have had to wait three or four days for checks to clear and sometime I have to call the bank or go into the bank because it has taken a check that long to deposit. I would advice using another bank/credit union if you decide to Mobile deposit checks.
Please add the ability to paste in the password field for use with password storage apps. Otherwise looking good. Update 3/24/17: still no ability to paste a password, which therefore encourages one to use a simple, easy to type password. Not good. No fingerprint authentication. Not good. No ability to change anything in the Settings menu. Not good. Must re-enroll to utilize the deposit function. Disappointed. September 2017: Ok, they finally added the ability to paste into the password field. Still no fingerprint identification. And now facial recognition is the latest generation, which means this app is now 2 generations behind current access technology. Once you get in, the app works well enough for me.
This app has worked great for over a year. However, I just used the previous version of this app to lock my credit card. Then installed the latest version of HonorCU on a new iPhone 15. When selecting ‘Manage my cards’, the app displays “Loading…” for a few seconds, then displays a popup - ‘An error has occurred’. I can’t unlock my cards! This happens on two different phones.
Best bank i have ever gone through. Amazing customer service and alway get what i need done. They have never missed a beat. Honored too say i bank through honor.
Majority of my functions work fine, but the mobile deposit seems to not be working. I selected what account then put in check amount but it doesn’t let me continue. Am I missing something?
This app is rubbish. Downloaded it so I could make mobile deposits, but it won’t even let you enter the check amount without breaking. Even after contacting the bank and doing everything right, it still doesn’t recognise amounts. This was one of the main draws to joining Honor, and it doesn’t even work. Don’t bother if this is important for you.
With this recent update it seems as though the number of steps to login and see account details or transfer money has increased. There were already to many steps to begin with.
Ever since the update the app is completely unusable. It either says it isn’t allowed or it says that I blocked the action in some settings I’ve never seen before. I’m so tired of Honor. It took forever for them to get the app to be actually useful and now it’s gone on one foul swoop.
Worked perfectly before update, now I can only manage my card sometimes. Most of the time it’s telling me there’s a problem with loading on my app wish the update never occurred
The new app looks great and feels like the new website, but it barely works. Everywhere I go I get an error message saying it cannot process my request. Please update!
I’ve been using this app for 3 years and have not had an issue. I got a new iPhone 14 and it made me update the app. Now I can’t unlock/lock my card it just pops up as an error. Please fix this!
HCU treats you like a criminal! I just recently switched over to HCU & since then it’s been NOTHING but a headache, they call & harass you even when it’s their fault.
I LOVED seeing the recent enhancements you made to the app like fingerprint and facial recognition logins. This replaces a slow, clunky login process with a fast and much more convenient method.
The old app worked without a problem. This one tells me that service is down more often than working! I work long hours and want to use this to deposit checks but can't. It's ridiculous! Go back to the old one!!
This app would get a five star review if it had Touch ID enabled. Having to input three different security checks is quite cumbersome and inconvenient.
Edit 2/16/2018: Yay we have Touch ID support! So it's definitely made a lot of progress and I absolutely appreciate it. It's still not entirely worthy of a full 5-stars as the UI has a long way to go to be fully competitive with other financial institutions, but I'm hoping this is the start of getting there. Original review: I was really hoping that with the new app it would include TouchID support. It's really inconvenient when trying to keep accounts secure with encrypted passwords via 1Password and LastPass and forced to have to keep going back and forth between apps then copy/paste. Seeing as how long Apple Pay took to get implemented, I can only imagine how long it will take to make this a more feasible app.
