JOUST.

Spent many an hour with this game as a kid. They did a pretty good job bringing this back. Unfortunately it seems to crash a bit more then I’d like to admit. You could be playing and off it goes or if you try to place your name on leadership board…again, crash. Hope the developers look into this and haven’t abandoned the game. Work out those kinks and your in for fun

Joust is one of my favorite games of all time and the midway arcade version from a few years ago was the best to come out. This one is def the best out T this time however the controls are a bit clunky. They could have given us a digital joystick or least two different ways to navigate like digital Dpad, this game is not free. Also the mechanics are a little clunky, speed slows down if you hold the button which I have never experienced. If you can conquer these defects you can reign the sky’s once again. Hopefully an update gives us more controller options

The graphics are relatively faithful to the game. Basic functionality is there but there are some bits that don’t work correctly. You cannot joust the teradactyl in the mouth to kill it. It just always kills you. You cannot bounce off the cliff, it just stops you. If you touch the lave you cannot escape by flapping hard to get out, you just die. The teradactyl occasionally hangs around on the next level. Especially level 5. If you accept those, the game is fun to play.

I loved this as a kid. Game stays true to the original. One suggestion, I would like to see a way to use the new Bluetooth controller with the game. I have found the tap left and right hard to get accurate and my thumbs blocked the screen.

This is an excellent, pixel perfect version of the classic arcade game. If it offered Bluetooth controller support it would be 5 stars perfect. Developer, I would support a Patreon or any campaign to help you add controller support to your arcade games, please make it happen!

This is an amazing port of my all time favorite video Ahmed love the game, brings back so many memories, but lack of controller support happens the enjoyment, add full controller support and it will be like 1982 all over again.

Thanks for making this game that is my favorite since being a kid. So like playing original. Now only if you could make a whack-a-mole game that was anything like 😊

Real deal here! This is the old school classic Joust arcade. Real fun. Hope this developer makes some more classics!

This game needs some work! It doesn’t have a virtual joystick so its impossible to know where the left/right or the wing flapping actions are supposed to be. It also lacks variable speeds so you’re either going full speed or stopped. Super annoying and not on par with the joust game from Midway arcade a few years ago.

Love the game! It’s just like the old school cabinet arcade. I noticed the leaderboard and forum are offline. Hoping it comes back soon!

Game won’t even open beyond the “Loading…” screen before it auto closes itself. Have tried to delete the game and download and it still doesn’t open. Unfortunate purchase for a game I used to play on my old Atari 2600.

Controlling needs to be better but good game overall

So disappointed! Was looking forward to playing but got nothing! Tried to get my $4.99 back but it seems not refundable! Don’t buy games from this developer! It’s a ripoff!

Feels like the old game. Room for improvement would be options to make slightly visible buttons, to adjust screen size and reversing button layout. Two player would be amazing as well! It’s a Good game. I love joust!

It’s a great game and I enjoy playing it. My only gripe would be that we need directional buttons for facing left or right. It’s hard to navigate.

Just paid for a game that does not work. It crashes on load. If running new ipad pro (m4) stay away from this game.

Needs an option to flop the controls. The direction controls should be on the left and the flap on the right.

The controls don’t work well and it demands initials entry EVERY game.

1st, I’m playing this on an 11” iPad Pro. The game only supports a tiny screen? Also, external controls are not supported, such as Smart Keyboard.
