KWTX Weather

What would we do without KWTX Weather? The team feels like part of the family. They are the first ones I look forward to seeing in the morning and last ones I look forward to seeing at night. Each one of the team is so friendly but also professional and accurate. I’ve tried other weather stations but they can’t begin to compare to KWTX! Thanks for always being there!

I recently downloaded this app because of dangerous weather in my area. I turned on notifications to insure I was getting timely alerts and listened to the live broadcast. After that, I was sure I wouldn’t get many notifications about the weather unless it was significant. It seems everyday I get a notification that’s useless such as the one I received this morning: “Remember that sunny warm weather yesterday, yeah that’s gone” Not trashing the weather team on this, but the notifications on useless things need to stop. Everything would’ve been ok if I didn’t get that notification.

Apps, apps, apps. Seems everyone has one and wants you to download theirs. The KWTX weather app delivers. Timely weather warnings. Lightning alerts based on my actual location. Most apps—well I’d just as soon use my browser. But, like I said, yours delivers. The top of the heap. I would rate yours as my favorite app and it’s no contest. Keep it up.

I depend on this app when we get bad weather, especially the radar. Thank you kwtx team for having a local app and uploading video updates! You can also get updated weather notifications, which I like.

So annoying that we had to download two apps to get local weather. Absolutely too wordy, takes time to decipher the forecast where as before it was an easy to read horizontal plane. It took me time to even find the radar but figured out it was now called “map”. Also a lot of the time the forecasts won’t load and you have to kill the app and start over. Please consider reconfiguring the forecast to be less wordy/hard to glance at.

What a great enhancement the KWTX Weather App has made from its previous version. I use it all the time while traveling across Texas and adjoining states. I absolutely love it. It keeps me away from bad weather while driving.

If you live anywhere between the Rivers’ Red and Colorado, you will only benefit from this app. As a bonus, you’ll be able to support the developers. It’s a win-win scenario.

Trying to get app support is asking me to break o to Fort Knox. I shouldn’t have to jump hoops just to get app support. So that was aborted. My initial issue is the KWTX rather app is junk. I want AQ and pollen counts and can’t seem to find them on the weather app. Unless you hidden them - then care to share how to make them appear? I could’ve sworn just a few years ago all that was able to be out on a dashboard of sorts. But he!! If I can find it!!!

I like to see radar and something happen I can’t see it anymore guess another station I’ll have to look at I like channel 10 weather better. And on the morning show for us early risers tell us the answer to the question next morning love Keash and Josh not so much on The other one

Really like the accurate current readings for the many cities I keep up with! Very dependable app. Even more info available when I view thru my iPad.

I really don’t like that I cannot read written alerts. Video isn’t always a good option —or preference. More often than not I simply close the app, no weather-wiser and check others. I’ll probably delete. I’m definitely turning off notifications.

Since when do we pay to watch this channel

I really enjoyed this app until I realized it was tracking me. I zoomed into my house and let it play the weather minute by minute. But then I realized it was moving my blue dot wherever I went (kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, etc.) Then it stopped moving and I remembered that was THE EXACT TIME I left my phone on my desk to let my dog out. Creepy. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.

Love the periodic weather updates. I always know what to expect and when. Great job!

Living alone in a semi-remote area of Lake Belton can be nail biting during storms. I depend on this app to keep me up-to-date around the clock.

Like the old news app,To get to the radar the new have to scan several options before getting to it. Thanks.

This is definitely the best-designed and most inaccurate local weather app of them all (except for temperatures; those are mostly pretty accurate). The inconsistency between sections is breathtaking. And KWTX tries to cover much too large an area, while focusing mostly on its hometown. Dismal, but pretty.

The weather videos on this app are NOT CONSISTENT anymore!! They are posted it seems like when they want to come to work. Since Rusty is not on the front scene anymore weather videos are posted sporadically!! Never at the same time and some have no sound except for some strange noise in the background! Whats going on guys? 🤔🙄😤

The white font on top of the graphics make it nearly impossible to read the content. Please please please fix this. You have a nice, overzealous designer. The point is the content. The graphics should be supporting the content not overpowering it

this app stays on the opening screen for at least 60 seconds before opening. And half the time it does not open. this is way too inconvenient to check the weather.

Can’t get app to work properly with IOS17 won’t load on iPad

And I love the vocal notifications. When you replace Rusty’s voice, I delete the app. Got that, Channel 10? 😉

Very comprehensive, covering much valuable information for planning activities and preparation for coming inclement conditions.

Confusing with a graphic on the top of the screen and then another graphic below saying “you are watching this video”.

This is the best app I could ever have for weather

The app still warns me of storms no matter where I am.

New app is horrible! Way too busy to get info at a glance but the worst thing is there is NO barometric pressure listed now!! I watched it religiously to monitor pain level! Also on main site, gray background with white part is horrible for visibility! They just can’t seem to “get it”!!!

Like how it displays on my phone to keep me updated

The audio is terrible. It cuts in and out a lot making it hard to understand all the info. No issues hearing other apps.

Why is it so difficult to open the app and see the weather? It tells me storms possible but I can't find anything on that.

Seems like a good app except for the annoying video commercial that plays every time I go to allergy report. No obvious way to shut it off.

Brings a measure of comfort and preparedness during these Spring storms.

Downloaded today. Approximately 1/4 of my ipad screen taken up by an ad for a competing weather app. Instead of trying to rationalize this, I just deleted the app.

Radar is slow and will pause all the time. Doesn’t matter what wifi I’m on. LTE isn’t any better

Nearly always comes up with a video error. Rarely get to hear or see the weather forecast

Please return the weather to KWTX This separate app is not good.. it takes extra time to read and it Please do away with this app and return all weather to the KWTX app

Three fourths of the time it doesn’t work right

Since a recent download, the app will not open on my IPad Pro. It used to work fine.

Downloaded this app three times and it never worked! Only shows a city on east coast but no info! Pitiful

The weather was better on the news app

Not very helpful during storms hard to navigate

Working okay on my iPhone but latest version does NOT work at all on iPad Pro 12.9 inch 4th gen.

The app won’t rotate if you like the home button at the top of your iPad. Very disappointing. Please remedy this. All apps should auto rotate.
