The Right Stuff
I’ve been using Leslie’s for about 20 years now. They’ve always been the friendliest and most helpful/knowledgeable pool supply store I’ve dealt with. I have a 50 year old in-ground pool. Most pool places are done talking to me the minute they hear that. Due to circumstances out of our control, our pool was never opened last year. When I uncovered it this spring, I found brown water that quickly went to black and a stench that could rival a septic tank. I took a water sample into Leslie’s. They tested it, sold me exactly what I needed and gave me detailed, easy to follow instructions. After two days I could see the bottom of the pool and after four days, the water was crystal clear. It was unbelievable. So far this has been one of our best summers ever for the pool, thanks in large part to Leslie’s.

Difficult to track
First off, the app is awesome for tracking your rewards points and having easy access to barcodes for redeeming those points in store. Past that I’d give the app one star, there is no easy way to track a pool and separate spa, you have to choose one or the other. On the actual graphs you have no idea what any of the levels are. You get a high or low indication and that’s it. So is the level slightly off or way out of range? You’ll never know using this app. Make sure you get the paper print out at your local store to have proper chemical levels. Leslie’s you’re off to a good start but have a ways to go before you’ll get five stars on this app.

Heaping Piles of Smelly Garbage
This app feels like it was designed in Hootersville on an episode of Green Acres…absolute trash. The first time I ordered through it, I never got what I ordered while someone got my information and started sending me phishing emails that looked legit telling me to click links as my payment was declined. The shopping/cart functionality has been completely broken for weeks. I have been trying to reorder testing disks for their home testing apparatus and it is impossible…and they don’t sell them in the store. So that thing is completely useless and I am considering just sending it back. The only function that is useful is the test tracking…which more often than not isn’t what they tell me I need in store, so upon further examination, it isn’t useful at all. This ship is lost at sea and someone just chucked the compass overboard. Cannot recommend this app for any reason at this time.

Slow, slow, slow and glitchy! Deleting now
Don’t waste your time downloading this app like I did only to delete it. Pages load so slowly it reminds me of the old AOL dial up connection. After I wasted half an hour trying to place an order, I was frustrated and fed up with this company. I had to login on a browser to do anything, and it was 10 pm here so not a busy time. As a business owner, I would not tolerate such a poorly designed website or app. If you think the Leslie’s Pool website is slow, you’re going to hate this app. Instead of the homepage with the search function loading properly, the results up my last pool test kept slooowly opening instead and freezing. There is a special tab for tests, so this should not happen. I had no search capability whatsoever to find anything. 1 star is very generous for a worthless app that wasted 30 minutes of my life for nothing.

App Unusable
I’ve decided to subscribe to the AccuBlue home water testing. It’s almost identical to the setup in their stores, but with the convenience of testing at home. The only problem is that the setup requires this app in order to connect, and you need to be logged into your account. For over a week now my app won’t login to my account, and customer support is useless. They say they’ll help, but then no one follows up. I’d be a little more tolerant of the issue, but it’s $50/mo for the AccuBlue subscription! Get you **** together Leslie’s. I’m sure if this was affecting you monetarily (like it does me) you’d be moving quicker to resolve it.

AccuBlue testing at home
I have been using the AccuBlue home test kit for a couple of weeks and am enjoying not having to run my samples to the store for accurate test results and treatment plans. I have called a couple of times for assistance and both times the reps answered my questions and resolved my concerns. My pool is adjacent to a large willow tree and phosphates have been an ongoing issue. Using the AccuBlue at home has enabled me to keep them under control and my pool crystal clear. Very happy with the product and the support :)

A Waste of My Time
I am a loyal customer of Leslie’s and will continue to be, but after a year of trying to use their app, I have deleted it and given up on it. First off, it’s slow. Absurdly slow. I’m honestly surprised they haven’t tried to make it quicker, it feels like the app is an after thought, just to say they have one. I can’t order anything through it, because there are always errors, and messages that tell me to, “Try again later.” I mainly used it to test my pool, but when I repeatedly get the “Try again later” message week after week, I’ve deleted the app and downloaded their competitor’s app. This other one is fast, sleek, and way better. I’ve moved on, and I would encourage others to do the same.

So much hope, so little functionality
Your app is disappointing. Great idea but poorly implemented. It is not user friendly. The test history is severely lacking in detail. For instance if you want to know your test results for pH, it doesn’t tell you what the results were, just that it is low. Why not show the actual test result? The chart has high to low, is low 0 or 7.0, is high 14 or 10 or 8.0? It has no relative information. Another huge miss is that it doesn’t tell you what you need to do to fix the issue- why not have the instructions you get printed at the store available in the app? Maybe slide the chart to the left for instructions. Even the guys at the store couldn’t figure out how it provides any useful information. Hopefully this will be updated to make it useful.

Really cool app, great customer service!!
Really cool app to help keep track of services needed on your pool, keeps track of your points and rewards (the latter of which is the main reason I signed up!). I initially had issues during registration and reached out to customer service via the "contact" button within the app itself and chose to send them an email. I received a very timely response with immediate rectification. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a pool and a local Leslie's store. My parents are signing up now 🤓

Difficult App to use
This app is very difficult to use. Wasted a few hours trying to get it to accept my order after filling out lengthy profile information. In the end, I just went on line and re-entered my 6 item order only to encounter issues with my payment. Somehow, the credit card listed had the wrong expiration date and no edit button available. Ended up adding an alternate card for payment, which took three attempts. I do a great deal of shopping locally and prefer to order in advance to save time inside a store. May just as well go to the store and expose myself to whatever viruses are being spread or just shop else wear.

Very Confusing
Comparing test strip to bottle scale is very haphazard. Colors could be determined either way depending upon the users opinion. I have been using Clorox for years with varying results but ironically Leslie results are the exact opposite!!! Clorox results in acidic water recommending Ph Up, Leslies result in high alkalinity recommending a large amount of Uric acid!!! I’m a highly educated individual but this is very confusing!! Does Leslies have a more accurate testing system than these strips???

App is good but need some improvements
App is good but a little slow to load data. It’s great to see in store test results right away. However, the month by month view means it is hard to compare results from late one month to results from the start of the month. Leslie’s App Developers should add a “Past 30 days” and “Past 60 days” so that customers can better see trends. It would also be much better if there was a summary view where you can see all the types of results on one vertical screen. The graphs are cool but there is a lot of wasted space.

Problems in 2021
This was my go-to pool management app, I’m not sure what happened. Last year I used this app weekly to record my pool water tests. This year, it’s a struggle. Here are the bugs I’m not happy with: 1. Login takes forever, I’m not sure why this is so slow, but it takes longer to login than it does to test my water. 2. I’m required to log in every time. I’m not sure what kind of super sensitive information they’re keeping in this app, but just keep me logged in for most actions please. 3. FaceID is just as slow as username/password. Not sure why it takes so long to pull my account up. 4. I have to be logged in to test my water, come on folks, this is a simple task, cache my pool, let me enter the results and sync it later. 5. The alkalinity results appear to be wrong. I reported 110 for total alk and it asked me to *add* 2 pounds of alkalinity up! That would raise alkalinity super high, not good. Hope you get this feedback because I’d like to keep using the app. But if this continues, I gotta find a new one, and maybe a new pool supply company.

Questions?
As users we need to be able to put more data into the program. Why don’t you ask for pool temp. If aloud to do more it would free up Leslie’s staff/technicians to help customers who are standing around waiting assistance. It can be made very clear when the user puts in info. it needs to be correct or the system won’t work properly and users will have to bring samples into the store. Leslie’s can’t be held liable for any outcome. I would still go into the store and verify things, but not as often this saving me time. I have a lot of other things to do. Thank You! I think your off to a nice start.

AccuBlue Home Not Ready For Primetime
I love the idea. If only it worked. Save myself the trip to the store with my bottle of water. Just test it at home! $50 a month which gets credited back to me to buy my chemicals. Amazing idea! Unfortunately, the device has only worked once. Every single other time ends up failing to test and giving no result. Considering the rest discs may only be used once, it means my $50 will be spent completely on buying more discs. No troubleshooting codes, no error messages to tell me what’s wrong. It just spins, throws a red LED and then sits there refusing to finish the test. Sigh.

Update on my earlier reviews
Update: I now see all water tests and trends on my pool chemistry! Great app and even greater support! I wrote a review about this app not showing subsequent water tests done in-store. Dan and Arlene were terrific about getting to the cause of my problem. Somehow I managed to create 2 accounts that have now been merged. I have gotten the water tested only once since this was resolved. Provided I see subsequent tests, this app will get 5 stars! The team truly supports their patrons!

Works well with the AccuBlue home test
I have used the app forever but it was not all that handy for tracking pool test at home until I bought the Accublue home test subscription it has worked well other than when my pool scored 100 % the system couldn’t handle it and kept giving me an “ oops” warning and added that test to my pool history 5 times

Constant Oops! Message
Update: Should have known better than to update this app. Can’t login again now. Tried deleting and reinstalling the app. Tried changing my password. Nothing works. Not much use of I can never get logged in. App authentication constantly fails so I can’t login, which prevents me from selecting my pool vs spa for chemical analysis and treatment. The Authentication mechanism has been a problem for awhile. Will you guys please address. Many have commented on the app slowness which is directly related to the fact you are reauthenticating EVERY time a new function is selected even after I have already been authenticated on first launch.

Awesome and easy to help my pool
I’ve been a Leslie’s customer for decades. My parents owned an in-ground pool when I was little, so I loved going to Leslie’s to get the different chemicals and testing kits to make the pool clear for pool season. Being on the east coast, pool season meant baseball and swimming so it’s nostalgic to me. Now that I’m older, being able to get pool results from my phone is a game charger. I can immediately get results and then pick up exactly what I need! Thanks team!

Lost all data on app update
Been using the app for a few months, tacking weekly water test, treatment plans and in store water testing. Update came out and my login no longer worked. Tried on the web and it was ok, went back to the app and tried again. The app reset my account as if it were new and lost all my history.

Stayed with Desktop ver.
Cannot use PayPal from app. Available on desktop for checkout options. My app did not sync store location had to change it. Not hard but annoying way to add items to cart. Need to add continue shopping to screen Then place you back where you added last item or search screen. Like the proactive notification features for pool. App. Overall looks good. Unfortunately I will continue using desktop to order.

After update issues!!!!
I had been using this app for years and while not great it was serviceable considering this is a pool store and probably not many IT developers work there. However, after this new update it’s become unusable. I would suggest caching information on users phone as they open the app and only doing it once. Every tap on an icon at the bottom the app tries to download new info and is soooo slow in doing so. Even logging on is pretty slow, but actually using the app is very frustrating.

An unparalleled experience
I have had my pool for almost a decade and have been purchasing my supplies from various local vendors with limited success. Why I waited so long to visit Leslie’s is beyond me. Their expertise, pricing, and overall professionalism is far and away the best in the industry. I have visited my family in AZ, CA, and TX and can verify the staff is equally as qualified. The app is the only thing that can make owning a pool even easier!

This is the first year we purchased products from Leslie’s. We have an above ground pool and we’re grabbing chemicals wherever they were handy. Never again! Our pool is so much easier to maintain this year and the only thing we have changed is buying products with Leslie’s and using the app to know what to use.

No Decimals
The app is helpful. BUT you can not enter decimals which are needed for testing and entering test results. EXAMPLE: if your chlorine test is .5 or below but NOT zero you must enter zero or one. Therefore the solution is skewed. Same thing for the pH test. Everyone of the readings are calling for 6.8, 7.2, 7.5, 7.8, 8.2 BUT you have to enter whole numbers. The The Leslie‘s pool test kit that is sold in the store has all these decimals printed on the kit. Why not include those on the app is my point. In fairness I will say the Solutions program is the best part. If test is “this answer” then do “this” to correct the water.

Great app!
I love the solve common problems feature. What an easy, simple way to find solutions to the most common problems right at your fingertips! And without having to go to a store or make a phone call! Plus the app is so user friendly and easy to understand, even if you’re not “tech savvy!” Two thumbs up!

Fairly useless app
Two stars for holding store coupons. Otherwise a fairly useless app. The one feature that could be useful is he home testing of a water sample. First, only 4 measurements can be taken, even if you happen to have an extensive testing kit which I do. Second, if you enter a value outside the target range for any of the 4 measurements and select “treatment plan”, the plan says to visit a Leslie’s store to get the plan. So you might as well just take the sample to the store for testing, and THAT really is the purpose of the app.

Login Issues (SLOW)
The app seems to have issues with login Bria email/password or FaceID. It is extremely slow to process the credentials and allow access. I’m not sure when this happened since I did t use the app from Oct-April. Other than the (extremely) slow login issue I feel viewing the treatment plans after testing was less clunky last year too. Still very useful in tracking my testing and determine a course of action.

Please turn back the recent update
Folks, the latest update erased my historical information, and rewards data. It also created a second profile in the store’s computer which is not linked to my account. The app no longer works and is difficult to sign into. You have enough recent one-star reviews on here telling you about it, but still no fix? The other reviewers are experiencing the same problems that I am. It’s real. You had a good thing that encouraged me to patronize your store. This is not a good look, and has me considering going elsewhere.

Always crashes
Somewhat of a good idea, if it would work consistently. Every time I open the app, it goes “opps, something went wrong” Sometimes after going to the store to have my water tested he could take 5 to 7 days before the site is updated. And not once have I been able to receive the five dollars off of any purchase of $20 or more a half her going in and having my water tested because I can’t print the coupon and the store won’t take it from the app.

Works
Just tried for first time. The unit vibrates and walks when spinning u to speed. Little bit nosy. The app does not let you print out the report. If it does I have not found it. Yes it saves time to run to the store but if you don’t have the chemicals needed your driving there anyway.

Crashes too often, won’t record multiple test results for a single day
Since getting the AccuBlue Home kit I have been using the app more often, and it frankly crashes too much. I also find that I cannot enter or record multiple tasks in a single day, with any test after the first one simply not showing up in the app or in my pool history. It seems like this app needs a lot more work to account for the youth of Accu blue home.

Works great, when it works
When the app works, it’s great. But if often doesn’t allow me to t draft a new test, or it gets caught into a queue and I have to delete the app and reload it. Tech support (“chat”) is horrible so, basically, don’t even bother.

Time to wake up and fix your wonky app ! Look at all the feedback for the last six months, one and two stars max ! The app doesn’t work right anymore and your IT folks clearly can’t figure out how to make it work correctly. You’re a major player on the pool supply business and you need to step up and spend the money necessary to make this app work for all your paying customers! This isn’t some freebie gaming app, this is an incredibly useful tool for your paying customers. Thank you,

SO SINPLE TO USE! Seriously, this app helped me take my spa care from stressful to soaking in the sauna in no time. The user interface is easy to use and straightforward, no gimmicks, and the fact that you can reach out for store assistance if you so choose directly from the application is icing on top. Failing app
This app was great when I first started using it. Now it never loads my water tests and says I haven’t been in for weeks to have water tested even though I’m in the store every couple days. It also does not show my perks. I have tried logging out and have the most recent update and it still does not work. I reached out to customer service via message and heard nothing back. This app has become useless.

Ruined by poor phone lines
I am a new pool owner and Leslie’s has been of great help when I visit their store. However, their customer service phone line is the worst. It sounds like their people are talking through pillows when/if I can hear them. On top of that they can’t manage to make my rewards program account work and each person I try to talk to needs to move the problem on to the next level.

The new update seems to have broken the app
It seems there was a big update to both the app and the online store. Logging in for both is terrible now. Just sits and spins. And then the app says “oops, something went wrong” after about 2 min. Reinstalled the app once and that was the only time I was able to log in, but only the first time. Then then the app crashed and back to “oops” message. Hoping you guys get it fixed- the app is basically hosed from my perspective.

Clunky app, frequent problems
I have the Leslie’s Accublue electronic home test kit for $50 monthly. The Accublue connects via Bluetooth to the Leslie’s app on the iPhone to do pool water testing. However, about 50% of the time the app will not connect to the Accublue hardware. I have to close the app, re-open it, and wait for it to eventually connect via Bluetooth. Then about 20% of the time after the test completes, there is a problem with the app and the results will not show, which essentially wastes a test disk.

App is basically unusable at this point
Been trying for days now to get my home test results for a plan of attack on the pool and I’d say I can get the actual pdf file maybe 5% of the time and it’s getting to the point of getting rid of the home test kit and going back to having a local pool place to take care of it all. Site is bad as well and super slow (both pc browser and app)

Please fix how you make a password
The app is very good especially for people who just got pools and don’t really know what to do to keep it clean but I almost lost interest in using Bc I wasn’t able to make a password that would work like 😑 I spent 30 minutes trying to make a password like whyyy!!???? But somehow I made one and besides that this app is great 👍

So close yet so far away
… from being a great app. I used to be able to use the app to test and read treatment plans but for some reason the app won’t let me sign into my account. I’ve changed my password a few times and still no luck. I can sign in to my account on your website but the iOS app times out. At least with the previous version I could use it to keep track. Hopefully a version update will fix the problem.

Nicest People Ever
I used to go to one of the competitor’s because they seemed a little more economical, but one Sunday Leslie’s was my only option. I haven’t been back to the competition since!!! You have the nicest employees who are very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. Keep up the good work Lake Mary, FL!!!

Okay app, horrible update
Whoever approved the latest release of this app should be fired. The login functionality, oh my word. Are you even a developer? You have to login every time you wanna look at the app, it’s a stinking pool supply app. There’s nothing personal on this app. At a minimum there should be an option to remain logged into the app. With the app updated, it wiped all my data. It’s now been two days and the data still has not synced between the website account and the app. My login works intermittently, sometimes the password works, sometimes it doesn’t. Let’s not get into the fact that when you go into the store they ask you for your phone number, but there’s no place in the app or the online website template or change your phone number.

App is saving us hundreds!
App works great, keeps track of cleanings and really takes the guesswork out of adding chemicals. My only issue is once you test, the inputs matched Leslie’s Test strip order (the bottle goes by FCl, Alk, pH, CyA). Also, whenever we’re in doubt or want confirmation that we’re doing things correctly, we can always take a water sample to any Leslie’s store.

Fun app
I am liking the app. The reminders are great. The app seems geared to larger pools, I have a swim/spa which only holds @ 1600 gals. The recommendations are kind of helpful, but I find that even according to test strip and my spa installer, the ph is within tolerance but app recommends increasing. Over all it’s a good app, easy to use with info, rewards, specials and sale information. Would recommend to all.

Add spot for Maintenance (Clean filter, add usage, weather, etc....)
Would like a spot to keep track of filter cleaning & Notes re: weather or other special conditions. Like the recommends based on home water test’s....just a step further w/ regular maintenance to look back on history. Thanks Can’t find a nickname not taken to send....is lowering the score more!

Wonderful
Ian at my local Leslie’s store showed me the new app! The new water test portion of the app will make it so easy to communicate with the store when we have an issue. Ian showed me the app while fixing an issue and made it possible for my entire soccer team to swim in my pool because he is the best!!!

Buggy app
Even when updated the app is full of bugs. I’m a pool perks member and get free shipping. But I clicked on the pickup in store button to see if it was in stock and now it will not allow me to go back to having the item shipped. Also shows a blank screen under “shop by categories “. Have to type something in the search field for it to work.
