So far so good!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but so far my experience is the more quizzes you fill out the more tips you read, the better experience you’ll get out of it. The 2 stylists I have had have been very helpful, I definitely get the sense they are real people. The better stylists will truly listen to what you say about your body type, color preferences etc. I always reiterate these things because it seems like you have a different stylist every time. I wish there was an option to schedule with your preferred stylist. Phoebe was great. They will charge you for little quizzes and additional styling sessions, but as someone who works in service I get it. People should be paid for their time & expertise. Idk if I’ll have it long term but I’m very glad I’ve tried it. It’s been helpful!

Waste of money - but they have good marketing
I don’t understand how stylists can make clothing recommendations without ever seeing what I look like. They have no idea what colors look good on me. They have no idea what styles would look good on my body shape. All of the conversation that I had with the initial stylist felt very ChatGPT like. If I just wanted to browse clothes on H&M‘s website, I could have done that myself. The best part about this app is your marketing department. Your advertising made this sound like it was a very unique and exciting idea. I was super excited to pay the subscription price to meet an actual stylist who would give me genuine recommendations. The “monthly session“ is nothing more than a chat via text through the app which feels like you are conversing with ChatGPT. It’s not a phone call, or a FaceTime video for the stylist to see what you actually look like. You are chatting with a bot. My negative review has nothing to do with the price, because I was extremely willing to pay it. So they got me for the first month and yes, it was a waste of money, but I’m not upset about it. If you are able to search up a specific style on Pinterest and get many pins displayed to you with outfit ideas, that is exactly what this app will do. But you can do it for free on Pinterest. If you have absolutely zero idea how to Google or search on Pinterest, then sure, you can give this a try and waste your money.

They took my money and told me that I would be receiving a curated wardrobe within x amount of time. Because I was just trying it out. I went ahead and canceled any future payments so I can see whether or not I like it. Something very common and the subscription world. While canceling, it does not tell you that any services you previously paid for will not be provided. So to my surprise when I never received my season capsule, Customer Service told me that because my account was not “active” even though it said my month was over August 3rd, and there’s a no money back policy, essentially they took my money without providing the services I paid for without warning me that canceling Wood omit them from doing their job. I never write reviews, but this really p’ed me off. When people pay for services and you don’t provide it, when the terms and conditions are, the front of the excuses made to not give people what they paid for, that makes you a thief. Do not trust this company with your money. Customer Service told me I needed an active account in order to receive what I paid for, so when I went to go activate my account they took out another month and wouldn’t refund that amount. I highly doubt I’ll ever see anything from this company come my way. I will be calling my bank and disputing any transactions. If I do not receive at least one of the services I paid for on the two months they took from me.

Impossible to cancel!!!
Don’t download!!! If you want to cancel, you have to email customer service that you want to cancel, right? No problem but when you do — they won’t let you. The customer service rep emails you back, argues with you, and asks you why you want to cancel. When you refuse to answer, and explain that you simply want them to cancel, they reply with a “but you didn’t give it a chance” email. If you don’t reply within their allotted time for their customer care ticket, they close the customer care response, without cancelling the subscription. Thus, you have to start ALL over, arguing with whomever you’re speaking. God forbid, you have a job — or are at a conference, and don’t have time to respond to them immediately. After they closed my ticket, in no uncertain terms, I responded with, “I am checking to be certain that my membership was canceled. I do not feel it necessary to provide a reason and you do not need anymore information to cancel it. Please cancel the membership and do not charge me another dime.” To which they responded with a litany of ambiguity— they’re sorry to see me go, but before I do — they’d like to know if I’m sure about my decision. I didn’t even speak with anyone or use their chat feature, and that the price is only $5.99 USD per month. I can’t tell you how livid I am. I hope Apple removes them from their platform.

Didn’t get what was advertised.
I connected with the app by answering a long list of questions in order to get a guide that would enable me to reduce the amount of clothes I had yet have more options (according to ad). I did the questionnaire, oh then you need to pay 99 cents to see the guide, okay paid it. Oh then you need to download the app, okay did that. The app has a button that says Continue, then you see a line that says “by pressing Continue you agree to….” But you can’t see the rest of what you are agreeing to. So, I get as far as a I can but never did get my guide. I emailed support to cancel everything and they email me a link they said would get me straight to my guide! But all it got me to was a screen to set up a styling session with someone. I have a feeling even if I did get to my guide, it would be just info in general and not specialized for me. My problem with the app is that it is poorly written and the marketing department has tried to trick me into the game. Bad on you, just be honest with what you are offering and people will probably pay, I know I would have but what I wanted was a customized guide book, not a session to talk to someone. I’m using the internet cause I don’t want to talk to people.

1st chat with my stylist
Well, I was skeptical about trying another clothing app, but so far I am glad I did. They have made the app easy to navigate and easy to answer questions. The amazing part was my stylist Lana-in our appointment she asked a bunch of questions to actually narrow down what I wanted. She didn’t want to just send me the same stuff she sends everybody else. in about a half an hour maybe 40 minutes she figured out how I wanted to change my style and came up with an outfit that is truly amazing! If this continues, I’m going to be the happiest woman in my town! Lol the other clothing apps don’t really care much about who you are or what style will go with your life. So far Lumi has!! This is actually the first time I’ve ever had a chat with my stylist. Never has my stylist worked this hard to figure me out!! And we chatted immediately the same day that I signed up. I will keep everybody updated as I get my outfit and do my next appointment with Lana. I’ll let you guys know if they stay amazing or if they don’t. But I think they’re going to.

My first stylist session
I really didn’t know what I was thinking this morning while scrolling on Facebook. Then I saw an ad about updating my wardrobe and looking my best for my age- well yeah I want to do that! So I went for it, why not… I’ll just close out if it’s not for me. But then they had me really thinking about myself and answering questions and before I knew it I was scheduled with a stylist. Sam was great! She picked out an outfit that was spot on for my employment but can still go out with my husband for dinner afterwards and feel good about myself. She was even able to modify the shoes she picked out because I didn’t like them. I stand 10 hours a day and needed comfortable shoes(tennis shoes) while dressed business casual. Honestly I thought was going to be talking to an AI and this was going to be a waste of time- but Sam was quick and understood exactly what I needed and was looking for. She found me the cutest pair of shoes! I’m kinda excited about getting this outfit- I will update this review after it’s delivered!! Oh yeah- the best part was it didn’t cost a lot of $$ to try it.

Scam-positive reviews are bots/fake
And the “stylists” are probably AI too. This is not a clothing service like Stitch Fix or anything. You do not receive a product. They charge you to have you fill out quizzes then give you access to their crappy style books that anyone could find better for free online. The app and “styling service” costs $50 a month for this. Then they try to rip you even more by getting you to purchase the clothing they suggest from these Asian clothing places that we all know either never ship, take 3 months, and are in Asian sizing meaning a size women’s Large would fit my 4 year old. The stores usually don’t even exist and when you look them up you find nothing but an email address based in China. No real business. They make it impossible to cancel, as if no one has tried that before and us Dumb Americans are all morons who will fall for the same old tricks. This is clearly yet ANOTHER China based scam, them trying to rip off and best people whose money means nothing. What is wrong with these people? Go get a real job. If you are unhappy with your government, blame them or yourselves. It isn’t America’s fault. We are sick of your scams and your superiority complex.

App/Service is confusing
I’m a busy executive mom of three and when I saw an app that seemed to make getting clothes easier I signed up for a year-long subscription right away. What they immediately do not make apparent, is that they do not provide you outfit recommendations directly through their app, but you have to schedule a call with a person/stylist and that too only available very far out and at times that are very inconvenient for me. 8pm was the only timeslot for the next three weeks and I’m typically putting my kids to bed at that time. I don’t have the time to sit on a call with a stylist each month. I have three children! I would appreciate automated recommendations based on the questions that the app asked me on my figure, style, and general attitude towards clothing. I would’ve been prepared to purchase those clothes right away. But now I have to wait three weeks to speak to an actual human at a time that’s terribly inconvenient for me. There was nothing, absent human intervention, that would allow me to procure outfits or clothes directly through their app, which I also would’ve been happy to do. The service is confusing and inconvenient for busy professionals.

Wish there was a zero star option
I downloaded the app thinking it wasn’t just consultation, but also a store. Turns out, you’re getting this app to pay someone to tell you information on fashion. Fun fact, you get this for free by searches online. No need to pay anyone for that information unless you really want to. I canceled my subscription while it was still in its trial. In fact, I canceled it the very next day when I realized what the app was really about. Then I noticed I’m being billed for it despite having canceled it before my trial was up. I reach out for customer service and I’m told that they aren’t responsible for issues on my end and I won’t be getting my money back. A lot of people are going to read my review and think, “It’s only $20, what’s the big deal?” The big deal is that I am a single mother, I don’t have a partner or friend bringing in another income. After charging my account, despite my cancellation, they left me with $5. I needed to go to the store for food. I can make what I had in my account stretch enough for a week and a half. I’ve had a lot of practice working on that. So, now I can’t get what I need to feed my kid. DONT DO IT, it’s an absolute trap.

Buyer Beware!
I have never left a review on an app before. The people that you work with through chat to develop outfits are very good. The problem is, they don’t tell you that you only have two hours after your session to use the links that they sent you. After that, they are gone. There is no way to reconnect to reinstate your link. I did an individual outfit, and then I attempted the pod outfit. The pod outfit delivers in an email so I thought I was safe. However, I came down with the flu and by the time I went back to the email it was gone. You can’t actually talk with a person except through chat, and it takes forever to go back-and-forth and I still have not gotten resolution. When you schedule appointments, it’s fine but if something changes and you have to set a different date, there is no calendar on the app that allows you to do it. I have given up. I wasted my money. This is a interesting idea to find clothing, but they were not ready to launch this app. There are too many problems. I would say skip it and come back in a year and see if they have fixed the problems

Very disappointing
I joined and had a pretty good session with the stylist but that was it. My order was entered incorrectly and after SEVERAL emails, including one in which I forwarded the original email confirmation from the stylist about the specific clothing from my order, the “customer care” specialist - Lily - if that is actually her name - INSISTS that what they ordered was what I paid for. I have also requested several times to speak with or contact a manager or supervisor to address my issue but that request has been ignored. I’m extremely frustrated and intend to cancel my subscription and request a refund. I cannot in good conscious recommend this app or this service to anyone. I’ve read quite a few reviews online recently and see that this level of poor and inadequate customer service is common. I wish I had read these reviews before I signed up. Instead I plan to post a poor review in every place that this service is mentioned or advertised to keep others from having to deal with the type of experience that I have had here.

This app is a scam and the creators should be ashamed of themselves
I downloaded this app as a free trial and when I realize that the app was nothing like I expected it to be, I tried to cancel my trial before the subscription started. Literally the day I downloaded it. The app itself has no option of canceling on your own. I reached out to their customer service and asked them to cancel for me. I went back-and-forth with them through several emails in which they gave me advice on how to cancel it myself instead of just doing it for me. Everything they advised me to do did not work. I sent them screenshots proving it so and they continue just to give me advice on how to cancel on my own. I ended up getting charged for the trial because nothing they told me to do worked and when I reached out to them they said that they do not offer any refunds and that I am being charged because I chose the trial and didn’t cancel before the subscription started. I expressed to them how upset I was after trying for several days to cancel through them, and then they told me that they canceled it now on their end. proving that they were able to cancel it for me all along but instead tried to make me jump through hoops probably so that they could get my money. After pointing this out, they denied that they would refund me but offered me a lifetime membership to their app. I will definitely be disputing the charges and hopefully no one else falls into this trap.

Waste of time and energy
Don’t do it. It was a waste of time, money and effort. I thought the stylist was supposed to recommend clothing that would look good on me… how can she do that without knowing what I actually look like? Not once did the stylist ask for a photo, or measurements, or video conference or anything. I’m absolutely mystified as to what this service actually is - because it certainly isn’t what was advertised. I connected with a stylist and explained what I was looking for in my wardrobe and what my challenges are. It’s like that all fell on deaf ears. I told her I’m short and pants don’t work for me because they need to be hemmed. She sends me outfits that are all based on pants. It told her I don’t like wearing floral patterns and that tiered dresses aren’t my thing… she send me tiered, floral dresses. I told her the fabrics from the ONE BRAND that she kept sending me to looked cheap and poorly made and she chose to end our session without actually providing me with the wardrobe options I was looking for. Cancelled the service immediately.

Could have done it myself
I feel like I was misled in the first place. This app was not represented in whatever I initially looked at. What I saw was a much better service, so they must know they aren’t up to par. The “trends” they try to convince you of are absolutely absurd. My “stylist” gave me 6 generic options of styles to select from. They all felt like a breakfast of Grape Nuts & Butter-less rye toast. I had to go on my Pinterest board & screenshot my general thoughts. What I got in return was an outfit put together with a bunch of links to other stores such as Zara, Etsy… When I asked to see a simpler version of one item, they seemed confused. Even the most amateur, yet dedicated stylist would have an idea within the context. The worst part is probably that they managed to attempt to style me with no measurements, no photos of myself, no questions about what is functional for my lifestyle. At the end I was given a link to purchase the outfit. Umm…yeah, no. Because I can go to these places one by one. More importantly, they sure as heck aren’t about to send me those clothes. I was looking for a modern custom look with brands that fit my lifestyle and don’t make me look like I’m trying to be 21 forever (see what I did there? Ha!) but I ended up making all of the corrections to something I’m not interested in. Lastly, I think, finding the right color palette is one thing they boast of, yet my entire offering was black. So, absolutely not.

Inaccessible/Scam
You start by answering questions about your age, style, etc then sign up for an introductory & reduced fee, which all seems standard EXCEPT when you attempt to log into the app, it’s not possible. I tried “forgot your password” option and no email was generated to allow a reset. I emailed customer care, a lovely AI image in their email, who responded with two links that brought me back to my original problem. This time, when I requested the email password reset, it indicated no such email existed. I responded to customer service stating I don’t wish to continue, cancel my subscription and credit me the initial amount paid. Their response was “your situation does not meet the guidelines for a full refund” and they’ll give me half. To not recover the entirety of the money paid for a service I did not receive seems completely fraudulent. The inaccessibility of their platform is likely intentional, considering I don’t appear to be the only one who’s experienced this issue.

Great App for plus-sized young professional
I just finished my Stylist Session with Hanna!!! It was great after a few questions she was able to curate some really nice styles for me. Four of them that I loved. Will be ordering the pantsuit for a date I have in a month. Would recommend to everyone it’s worth it. Only one thing that irritated me a bit is that I was thinking about the wording to answer the stylist question she sent, while thinking another message was sent to tell me that she was gonna close the chat so I had to quickly send a response. I don’t think I took more than 5 minutes to answer and I didn’t like that at first but being patient paid off because I got a beautiful outfit suggestion. In spite of that the app is great and I love it. Can’t wait till next month!!!!

Waste of Time
I wouldn’t wear any of the things selected. They were the opposite of the profile I filled out and none of the fits were what was recommended for my body type. There were 4 pairs of stilettos in my selected outfits when I said no stilettos, a tight body con thing when I said nothing tight like that, tennis shoes selected when I said I don’t wear tennis shoes, it was like nothing from the quiz or my notes was taken into consideration. I used to use stitch fix back in the day and was hoping this app didn’t have the same problems of listening to what you’re filling out in the survey but they do. Another half thought out style app, sad I was hoping this would be a good one. There’s also a ton of pointless things to click through on the app. A more streamlined accurate app would be way better. Not a fan of the pricing structure either, one thing costs a dollar, $5 there etc, if they were better at picking clothes out that’s where the profit should come from.

Does not work
This has all been a horrible waste of time and money. The initial advertisement and functionality felt user friendly and intuitive aAR FIRST, but after you get thru the incredibly long intake form and are forced to pay, then all of a sudden the guidelines are hard to understand and the process to arrange a stylist meeting thru the now harder-to-use app is impossible. Then you’re automatically charged for recurring payments even though you literally never received any services. The app has a ‘manage subscription’ section but there is no option to unsubscribe or cancel, and the only buttons you can press are ones that automatically recharge you for more services. I could see this tricking people into multiple payments per month. There are also ZERO heads up that you’re about to be charged. It’s all very unprofessional and this preys on people who they think won’t notice or think to do anything about monthly subscriptions.

First time with app - seems promising
I’ve been a Stitch Fix customer for years. Despite their advertising that you get a personal stylist, I never felt one time like there was a human on the other side of the app. Today I had my first consultation and was able to provide feedback on what I liked and did not like about the suggestions made to me.I felt that the person helping me, Phoebe, was actually listening to my concerns and preferences and made adjustments accordingly. The prices of the items she suggested seemed reasonable. My only issue was the amount of time it took to get responses back. My guess is that she is trying to answer multiple accounts at the same time. Therefore, it took an hour for my first consultation, and we only did one revision on the outfit.

Waste of money
I’ve had two styling sessions and neither were successful. The first one the stylist took way too long to respond and put together outfits, and both completely missed the mark. A second session was set up with another stylist who tried very hard but doing everything over. Text is difficult. I thought this was gonna be a video session where we got to talk and show them my closet so they could help me find pieces to improve my wardrobe. The stylist are not America and English is not the primary language. The reason I mention this is if your Stylist is not in your country and doesn’t understand your climate, suggesting trendy fall clothing when you live in 100° weather that doesn’t have a fall or winter, is a waste of time. Love that super cute long white wool trenchcoat, but I’ll never get to wear it near the equator. I ended up doing more work on my end submitting images so I end the 2nd chat at 2 hours. Waste of time and money.

First meeting with my stylist
I decided to give this a try. The first thing I noticed was all of the add on costs. You pay for the service, then another charge and 3 more offers for other items. While the items weren’t anything I wanted to try, it could get a little pricey just to start. Then I set up my first meet with my stylist. She went through my information and selected a nice outfit for me. She listened to my concerns and did a little tweaking to come up with something I thought would work for me. She truly listened to what I had to say and made this pretty painless for someone who hates clothes shopping. I would have gone for 5 stars except for the added costs.

Scam
This app makes it look like they are a clothing service like Stitch fix or something. It is not. You go through all these steps thinking that it’s getting you to the point where you can put in your sizes and you pay the styling fee ($15 and $.99 for something else) You get all the way to the end and they want to schedule a time for a stylist to talk to you. That’s literally all the service is. So I get through all of that and realize that it isn’t what I thought it was at all. I immediately email them for a refund seconds after downloading the app. They email me back and say that because I clicked on their user agreement that I don’t get a refund, because apparently it’s in the user agreement that they don’t issue refunds. Give me a break. You only need to put that in your user agreement if you know you’re trying to trick people into buying something that they don’t want. Scam scam scam is all I can say! Don’t fall for it!

First time using an app like this
I am obsessed with this app. I kind of expected it to be useless as I already feel like I have a good sense of style, but boy was I wrong. There are so many helpful tips no matter what experience you have styling yourself! It is completely suited for you. Completely. I am not just saying that because most apps will tell you they customize your experience for you but this one absolutely follows through on that. I don’t usually leave reviews but after only 20 minutes of having this app I am so glad I paid to get all these features. Trust me, it is worth it! (I’m excited to get to the section of the app that talks about shopping on a budget, because boy o boy am I on a budget haha)

Scam
This app is a scam. Like other have instructed on prior reviews, this app baits you in with fluffy words only to charge $50 dollars a few days later for a subscription. This is a clear bait and switch tactic that unscrupulous companies use to collect an initial payment in hopes customer will not see charge. However those customers watching for charges and disputes said charges, the merchant gives them the run around in hopes they will go away with their tails tucked between their legs. File a dispute claim with your bank or credit card company, bbb and anyone else willing to listen. This will place them on a list of companies to watch. It’s said the only way a company feels they can stay afloat is by scamming the public. And customer care, save the fluffy frequently rehearsed word of how you value the customer and you are sorry for the experience. If you are truly sorry, mention the $50 charge on the app before the public clicks on the app.

Scam!!
If you see any ads for "Tailored" on Instagram/Pinterest, it is a complete scam. They advertise themselves as a styling service for different plus size body types. The website throws you into a "style" quiz; when the quiz is over, it'll ask for a .99 charge for your styling profile. They'll also ask you to add in extra style profiles for 2 or 3 dollars each. Once you put your email in, they'll take you to a page to download their app, or continue to the desktop website. The desktop website is a dead end, because when you confirm your email, they actually don't create your account (even after being charged), you're put on a waiting list. I went to PayPal to check my charges and found out they had actually automatically, without my consent, signed me up for recurring charges as if I had subscribed! Thankfully I had paid with PayPal and could stop the automatic charges!

Terrible app and “product”
If I could give this leas than 1 star I would. After answering a bunch of questions to get a “style guide,” you then find out it costs 99 cents. Well, okay, but then you have to download the app and them they want you to pay even more money for more “guides,” which I did not. Then you’re forced to schedule a stylist session to get to the guide you already paid for. Then you finally get to the style guide which is garbage and tells you nothing any girl who’s ever played with a Barbie doll doesn’t already know. And “Color Me Beautiful,” really??!! We all found out that was crap in the 80’s. Unbelievable! And the app is crap! I now see other reviews talking about a subscription or something (wish I had read these before). I’d better not get charged for anything in the future as I dis not sign up for anything. Really, please don’t waste your time or money on this.

First time user; I was made comfortable
I came to the app from Facebook or Twitter. I don’t honestly remember. Questionnaires are always fun. Then being given the option to chat with a stylist was very nice. Grace was very patient and helpful. She helped identify colors for me, and I was a little surprised; but the more I ponder those colors, the more excited I am about potentially wearing them. I’m definitely looking for a little change in my wardrobe, and that would mostly be in adding colors. I’m a very casual senior, and I mainly live in jeans and T-shirts. I’m looking forward to my chat next week with a stylist to go a little further. I hope I can connect with Grace again; she was very helpful.

THIS IS A SCAM
this app doesn’t do any of the things they promise on the ads, also there’s no way to unsubscribe from the plan they force you to choose when creating an account, they won’t even give you a way to login to their platform, I spent days emailing them to get directions on how to cancel my subscription but all they did was delaying their answer until the trial expired and I got charged for the monthly subscription, only after the ‘support team’ emailed me steps to cancel the plan and even then they sent a broken link that I had to manually fix (an extra word and dash was added to the link they sent - I removed them manually, then copied and pasted the link to the browser) I ended up cancelling the subscription by ending the contract through paypal since this app doesn’t have a clear way to do this, I’m hoping they won’t charge my card again

Unsure about app but chat function is good and Valerie was, too.
I’m u sure how useful the app will be beyond the chat function, but I really enjoyed having a stylist send me options. Valerie was kind and accommodating and I felt like she sent me some outfit options that stretch me just a bit but also that I was comfortable with. It would be particularly useful if actual shopping links were available for the items, particularly for sourcing large petites, which is a lot of what I find difficult when shopping. I look forward to working with Valerie again and will see what I can find in the meantime.

Negative stars, total disappointment, unauthorized charge
I was super excited, the “consultation” was via a text app., the consultant was 30 min. late, then there was zero consultation/conversation and then several suggestions were sent, with zero consideration to even the information in my profile. Let alone from a chat. The items were H& M items totally opposite of my style which I communicated. I gave the stylist a few sentences of information which was ignore and another 30 minutes later I got a second total garbage wardrobe suggestion. I had to pay anyways. They did not offer a refund, but a 20. credit, which went unused. Zero things were decent. I cancelled BOTH subscriptions through customer service. THEN was charged 4 months later. Unauthorized. They are offering a partial payment return. No thank you. Fraud.

I never got a lot of use from the app; I tried being more fashion-forward, but it just isn’t me, and I no longer wanted to pay for the product with my budget. Anyway, the customer service is AMAZING. I had problems trying to cancel, the app was being fussy, so I quickly emailed. They were prompt, courteous, and though they did their due diligence in trying to get me to reconsider, they ultimately understood and didn’t push or overwhelm me once. It was a very smooth and polite interaction. Props to the customer service, most apps and businesses could learn something from Lumi!

Bogus
I am completely dissatisfied with the consultation I received and all of the extra add-ons I paid for. Nothing was customized in the least- the consultant showed me four outfits and got offline before I could request any changes, which I wanted to do because none of the outfits were cute or trendy nor did they fit my style! And the hair “add-on” purchase was literally a brochure that was more poorly written than any free website I could’ve found the exact same tips on, was not customized to my face or current hair style, and is shelled out to everyone for a fee! I requested a refund of my $40 and was turned down!. The company does not care if you are happy with what you receive, and they only care about scamming people to make the most profit. This was the most bullsh*t service I’ve ever ever purchased. Stitchfix is worth 10x more than this.

Refund not granted
I downloaded this app and paid for it. While going through the intake quiz I realized that I did not want this app and product. While the money back policy is clear, I requested a refund on the basis that I tried the app and it wasn’t what I expected. I then delete the app and didn’t use any portion of it. 24 hours and I requested a refund since I didn’t enjoy the service nor use any portion. I went through a series of emails and phone calls with canned responses and only a reference to their money back policy which I repeatedly told the “people” (who are likely AI generated that) that I was not asking for the money back guarantee, I was simply a dissatisfied customer who didn’t use the app that would like a refund. No refund granted. I prefer to use companies that value customer service and the human experience.

Frustrated with customer support
I didn’t use this and wanted to cancel. The app makes it hard to find a login capability, so I struggled to get into my own account to unsubscribe (and this also prevented me from finding value in the app I was paying to not use). To try and receive assistance, I emailed support. I had to email THREE times (fist time and two replies) confirming I wanted to unsubscribe AND THEN THEY DIDN'T DO IT FOR ME AND JUST GAVE ME INSTRUCTIONS TO DO IT MYSELF. Their emails go to spam so all reset password and initial account set up didn’t appear to ever come to my inbox. I finally found it in spam and unsubscribed. But I really could not believe the support experience. Having worked in support myself, I was floored at the lack of just that- support. Thanks for a whole lot of wasted time and money.

**Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Service**
My experience with Lumi Place has been nothing short of frustrating and deeply disappointing. DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST!!!!! I subscribed to their service with the expectation of receiving a consult, but after doing research which is all over the internet this app is a scam, I decided to cancel my subscription **before even receiving any service**. What followed was a nightmare of incompetence and neglect. Despite multiple back-and-forth emails, countless assurances, and what felt like endless waiting, **I was never refunded my money**. Every interaction with their customer service was a frustrating loop, with representatives passing the blame and offering no real solutions. The complete lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction was shocking. (If you want to pay and never receive a refund then this is the app for you) It’s incredibly unprofessional to continue charging customers after membership is canceled, especially when no consultation was provided. Lumi Place has proven to be unreliable, unresponsive, and utterly indifferent to resolving issues. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I would strongly advise staying far away from this this app!!

Don’t fall for it
The Lumi business practices are tricky, misleading, and unethical. I signed up through an Instagram ad and was prompted to pay before even knowing really what this was. I say “money back satisfaction guarantee” in huge bold letter so I though I’ll give it a try and if it isn’t what I was hoping for then I’ll get my money back. I’ve now been charged $40, received no services, and their customer service is THE WORST. I am trying to explain the situation and they are replying with templated “we are committed to transparency” responses. There was nothing transparent about the process, I read/approved no fine print through the process and they refuse to refund me despite my lack of satisfaction and lack of services received. Don’t waste your time or money. I’m reporting them to the BBB for predatory and unethical business practices.

BEWARE - SCAM
I wish I would have read the reviews before downloading this app. The app is 100% not what is advertised. I tried to cancel, tried getting a refund and their “money back guarantee” is extremely limited - I have yet to hear about a user that has gotten any money back. This app developer is completely immoral and unhelpful. They only care about getting money from you and believe me, every single thing you want to do in the app costs money, aside from communicating with someone who sounds like chatgpt. Everything that is advertised is not available - no personal stylist, no helping with your style. Such a waste of $35 for something I will never use and didn’t operate as advertised. All I want is my money back and to be done with this app. I don’t advise anyone to get this app. You will be disappointed.

My first session
My first session with Charlotte was amazing. We went through a brief lifestyle and preference chat and she sent me a download off what my first outfit would be to suit me based on what I said and I loved the outfit. I’m so excited to continue this. It’s way more cost effective than running three hours to a mall or store and looking all day trying on clothes and going out to eat and driving back home three times a quarter. And I don’t trust online shopping. I bought some cute stuff at TJ Maxx online and both outfits swallowed me. Wasted money. I’m giving this a try.

Horrible
Not for plus size people! It says everywhere that it is, but it’s not. The person that is texting with you, is also texting with other people, you can tell because it takes so long for them to get back to you. I even sent my measurements and she sent me stuff that looked cute, baggy, but I guess it’s a fashion, and would not fit my waist. I told her if I wanted to be humiliated about not being able to fit into stylish clothes, I would go shop local. The ad said that they specialize in plus size women they do not! Also, this isn’t a thing where they sent to clothes. This is a thing where they pick outfits for you from Asian clothing sites and you order them. It took a while, but I did get a refund.

A terrible experience.
A terrible experience. The ads seemed promising but it was not at all what I thought , unfortunately I did put in my card info - however I thought I would complete sign up BEFORE I was charged. I was charged, without completing profile, signing up, etc. I never leave reviews but after reading I would not be refunded, even though ZERO service was provided, let alone actual clothing choices I want to provide a real life example to NOT USE. If I could complain, I would. Email is only option I’ve seen to correspond. A person should not pay TWICE, charged two separate times on same day - which is a whole separate actual dispute issue - let alone when NOTHI G was provided. Instructions are not clear and advertisements are not accurate.

Scam
Scam, don’t do it. Did a trial hoping to put together a capsule wardrobe. My initial stylist appointment I was sent 1 look that I didn’t like that was nothing like the ads and then she became frustrated with me immediately and ended the session stating to reschedule and that the capsule wardrobe would be a different session as well. Upon the reschedule no one showed and I received a message back stating they were having technical difficulties. I wrote back asking if I should wait around and no response. I tried to reschedule using the app but the session I was in was still ongoing and had to end first before I could reschedule. The session is still open and I have no ability to reschedule or schedule the capsule wardrobe session. The positive reviews are clearly from their friends or fake profiles.

Why are you scamming us?
I signed up for your trial through Facebook. You were prompt in charging my PayPal but I have no email from you confirming the trial as promised. You charged again for a hairstyle guide; where is it? What's more, I can't use my email to sign into your app, I can't try anything, nor can i cancel! Why??? I have to sign up again using my apple ID on the app and be charged again for another trial!! Why is it so hard to include the basics in your app? Is it bcoz your intention is to scam us? I even gave you a couple of days to send the email but nothing yet. Today is day3 of the trial and since I see no benefits I want to cancel. Why is there no option to cancel? Why are you cheating customers? If you charge the full fee I will dispute it. I will even report you to the BBB.

1st Session Complete
Had my first session with Anita today. She listened to my feedback and found pieces that I like. Always gave me several options to choose from and I felt that she worked to find items that fit my style. One thing to note: I am a little bummed that I may not have the same stylest every time because it takes time for them to get to know your style. I do not look forward to having to explain myself each time I have a new stylist, but since this is only my first session I will see how it goes. Thanks LUMI.

Your personal stylist
Lumi's app and stylist platform make it so easy to manage my wardrobe! I love the ability to cọmmunicate with my stylist, Jess, directly through the app. She's always responsive to my requests and takes the time to understand my feedback. The process of previewing outfits and providing feedback before they ship is fantastic. It feels like having a personal stylist at my fingertips! Having the option to return or exchange items easily is another plus. Lumi is a convenient and personalized approach to fashion that I highly recọmmend.

Has potential to be great, but not there yet
I agree with what everyone else said about the recurring charge and confusing up charges. I would suggest not signing up for the free trial unless you’re ok with being charged the subscription fee. They absolutely will NOT refund your money. I’m leaving it at 3 stars because their customer service team was responsive and professional and I have hopes this company will see the benefits of expanding their services and creating something truly unique and stellar. They have the potential to be great, but really need to take a closer look at their policies and the value of what you’re getting for your money.

Scam alert!
WATCH OUT, This app charges a $35 subscription fee without being transparent about it, the language is hidden in the terms section. I signed up for the app, paid the 0.99, and then didn’t even finish setting up my profile and noticed that I was being charged $35. After 24 hours the charges occur, but this subscription does not show up in your Apple subscription settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions) to cancel. When I brought this to the company’s attention they denied my refund even though I shared that I NEVER signed up for this subscription or even knew there was a monthly subscription charge with the app. Customer service ignored my refund request and was not helpful. BE CAREFUL BEFORE DOWNLOADING THIS APP AS YOU WILL BE CHARGED, it feels like a total scam!

Swindled - don’t buy
I paid over $40 for a stylist consultation, expecting it to be included in my subscription as advertised. However, when I tried to schedule it through the app, I was prompted for additional payment. Despite requesting a refund, as my subscription should have included the session, they refused. Over the next week and a half, I followed up several times, receiving no response. When I sought clarification through another ticket, I was informed that my subscription had been canceled, which was why I couldn’t schedule a consultation. First, that’s not true because I was never able to schedule a session, even before it was cancelled. And second, they should not have canceled my subscription without my express confirmation, especially if they weren't going to issue a refund. I was then told that they would set up a consultation for me if I gave them a date/time, which I did. I never heard back despite following up 5 more times via email. It's been a month since I purchased the service, and I've received nothing but frustration and wasted time. This feels like a scam.

This company is a scam
BEWARE! This company is pretty schemy, once they draw you in with assorted offerings you put in any card information to purchase ONE product they immediately start charging your card every month without your knowledge, without you confirming or agreeing to ANYTHING! Then when I reached out to customer service about this issue, I was ignored and received no response. This is already enough of a confirmation this company is a total scam and will charge your card without your knowledge ever single month with nothing to show for. I caught this and asked for this to resolved and they did not, like I said they did nothing. If I could warn anyone about the customer service and how they operate, I have done a great service to the community

WARNING SCAM ACCOUNT HACKERS
I downloaded the LUMI app yesterday and this morning my bank notified me of NOT 1 BUT 3 fraudulent charges on my account from LUMI totaling over $100! I immediately deleted the app and had to cancel my credit card. I'm thankful I have a decent bank that protects my accounts from frauds such as these but the download wasn't worth the inconvenience the time it took to work with my bank and the block on my account until my new card arrives. Now I find out they hacked into my PayPal account and charged another card. NONE of these were authorized in any way shape or form on my end and I did not have an active account. BUYER BEWARE! ***If you are actively using this app make sure and watch your accounts for random changes from this developer ****
