While present at the Miss Universe 2023 competition in El Salvador, I unfortunately witnessed a distressing incident. The Latina judges displayed disrespectful behavior towards a contestant, making inappropriate comments about her ethnicity and home country. Before the Top 5 announcement, a conversation unfolded between one of the judges and the owner of Miss Universe, leading to an impromptu meeting. Ultimately, they opted to replace one of the initially selected top 5 contestants with Miss Thailand, as insisted upon by the owner. I've already shared videos of this incident online to draw attention to the matter. Having attended various competitions worldwide, I haven't encountered such a situation since the 2015 incident with Steve Harvey. Judges involved in such behavior should be barred from future competitions, and the owner shouldn't exploit her reputation to manipulate results that don't align with her preferences. This has been one of the most disappointing Miss Universe competitions I've attended in person. Despite consistently purchasing front-row tickets near the judges, I won't continue supporting this fraudulent pageantry due to its evident bias.

Miss Universe 2023 audience witnessed the overt manipulation of Top 5 results. MU El Salvador’s IG site showed Miss Philippines as part of Top 5. After 7 minutes and only after Miss Thailand was announced, the IG site changed it to Thailand. El Salvador MU says it was an error. This seems illogical. Why? The stage cameraman was focused on Miss Philippines right before announcement of Thailand. If you are a pageant follower and observer, you know that cameramen and MU country organizations are fed with the results prior to announcement. The reason is for the MU organization send the graphics containing Top 5. Moreover, the camera man is also fed with results so he knows where to focus. Are you telling the people that both the MU El Salvador and the cameraman received erroneous Top 5 list? This is unlikely. This hypocritical transgender CEO who is a self-proclaimed transformational leader undermines integrity of the supposed prestigious pageant in the world. A leadership full of insecurity and self-centeredness devoid of integrity. Miss Philippines had a compelling swimsuit and evening gown and the only candidate to have won three awards: Gold medalist for advocacy (Voice for Change), Top Fan Vote, and Spirit of Carnival Award. Her evening gown performance was flawless and gown is the most unique among the Top 10. There is no way that this lady wouldn’t get into Top 5.

It's just disappointing how the Miss Universe pageant, which used to be so clean and fair in the past, has now become a very dirty game... The competition has lost its integrity and is no longer a true reflection of beauty, talent, and intelligence…There are allegations of favoritism, biased judging, and behind the scenes manipulations that overshadow the hard work and dedication of the contestants…It's disheartening to see such a prestigious event being tainted by these controversies…I hope that the organizers take these concerns seriously and take steps to restore the transparency and fairness that the Miss Universe pageant once stood for….

Not happy with the Miss Universe results. First, They are highly biased. 2nd, no integrity. Third, very unprofessional. You just ruined someone’s dream. Every candidate worked hard for it, and all the hard work was not paid off because of your favoritism and biases. I mean, it’s all business for you🤷‍♀️Truly a cooking show. What is this for? U guys just wasted ur money to vote a candidate because the candidate that has most voted here even in voice for change doesnt got what she deserves. Im like what are they even looking for? i thought advocacy but obviously they didnt base on that. Hope the certain someone go bankruptcy i just feel so sorry for the candidates that become a scapegoats.

Fans need transparency at all times. Must show judges’ scores and live fan votes. Must announce criteria for judging. Owner must be neutral, display support to all the candidates, not just cheering on her country of origin. Speak English when trying to include a candidate during interviews. I wish I can give a zero.

I want to vote for miss Perú but the app doesn’t let me . Why?

I accidentally pressed the vote button and once you press it you can’t change it. I think an additional message should pop up to confirm your vote to avoid this problem.

I spent dollars to support my favorite candidate but the app itself doesn’t show how much votes each candidate already has. It seems that this app is a fraud just like the pageant itself, no transparency on how they choose who wins the crown. A legit scam.

Miss Universe was a prestigious organization. Emphasis on the past tense. The lack of transparency on how contestants were judged on the recent 2023 MU contest was appalling. It is such a shame that the new ownership and management have made this happen. Have you no shame? Most likely not.

Hi! I purchased votes for my favorite candidate but winners were not announced during the final pageant up until now, its been 3 days. Do not purchase votes, its not worth it. Go to your candidates cause and donate directly.

Thailand and philippines has the same score of 89 but miss philippines has 3 special awards and thailand doesn’t have any awards that night and yet they choose thailand to get to the top five 😂🤣

This app is useless because the new Thai owner is corrupt/scammer and it’s not worth it to download it. If there’s a 0 or 0.5 I will give even lesser than that.

Miss Universe Org has become a downgrade ever since the new owner took place. Bought tics for the prelims even though you can watch it on YT for free is very scam-y behavior.

Even before the coronation, I knew what would happen to the Philippines’ delegate. The result was manipulated by the evil transgender owner. This year’s coronation was total rubbish.

When judging irregularities and favoritism becomes basis to win this competition, then this previously love pageantry becomes irrelevant.
