I use both interfaces. Business/Employee side & Guest side. The absolute crowing glory of the app is the chat tech support. They are so great. I never have any issues we can’t get around or figure out/troubleshoot. As a guest user, it’s super user friendly. Very organized and clean looking.
For context, I use this app almost daily to book yoga classes and this is the booking platform that my studio chose. My first complaint is that the primary/first page when I launch in to the app should be the ability to book classes for the day. I don’t think putting the past bookings in the first page makes sense since it’s not a function that I would primarily use the app for.
I downloaded the app and started signing up. When I get to create a password, the screen jumps to the bottom and I see what must be the continue bar at the top of my screen AND can not scroll up to enter my password to create an account. I’ve deleted the app several times to start over but still bugs out at that same spot. I figured it out. You have to go to the studio and create a login and password, then download the app to login to the app.
Donna is top notch. I have taken from many instructors in both Summerville and Florida. She is one of the top. I am an older nurse and feel confident that I will not injure myself in her classes but she will definitely push you to achieve results.
Have use this app to login and try to book classes and every time I do it, it makes me sign up for subscription to the dance studio. So then I add a subscription to the dance studio. And then I try to book the class and again it asked me if I want a subscription to the dance studio and I already signed up for an have. It won’t actually let me book any classes and keeps making me sign up for a membership that I’ve already done five times.
Not sure why this is so, but this app automatically updates all the time, at least once a week when I open it. It’s a little annoying but otherwise no problems.
Allows me to view and book events by my favorite yoga instructor. Booking process is VERY smooth and it is great staying connected for updates. Also love receiving messages my instructor sends out!
The add to calendar function no longer works properly. My permissions on iPhone hasn’t change, Momence still has permission to write to my calendar, as it always did. I have a feeling that Momence wants full access to my calendar. Full access would allow them to see all other appointments, and to add and delete any other appointments. Please tell me I’m wrong about Momence wanting full access.
I tried to download this so I could buy passes for a yoga studio. Not sure if this app is a WIP or what but not only is there no search feature to actually look for businesses to purchase from, the “support” feature just redirects you to login and takes you in a circle. So, completely non-functional. I am not technologically challenged but this app sure is.
App is great except that I keep opening the app to find that I was logged out :’( Please fix!!! Also would be great if you could add feature to automatically add classes to a connected iCal or gCal (MINDBODY app does this and it is very useful) when you sign up instead of having to manually add it.
This app doesn’t work. It will not let me select or book anything. It won’t let me contact support. I feel for businesses who have switched over to this software, it must be a pain for their employees. The only reason I’m TRYING to book through it is because there’s a class I want to take. If there was an alternative I would jump on that.
My yoga studio uses this platform to manage appointments. This platform spams me with reminders before my class, “how was it?” emails after a class, and bunch of other messages I am not willing to receive. THERE IS NO unsubscribe button in their emails. I contacted yoga studio regarding this matter, they contacted platform and the platform said IT’S IMPOSSIBLE to opt somebody out from all this spam.
It seems that this platform glitches out and makes it inconvenient to sign up for classes.. there is also a fee unless you attach your bank to the account? Idk it would be one thing if it were free and glitched occasionally. I wish the studio would go back to the old system
I love the seamless integration for booking and cancellations. I would like for the calendar to automatically sync without me having to manually add each session and remove each session.
The is app cost $20 and that was not clearly marked anywhere, so I thought I was spending like a dollar or two. I had to download it so I could access some information, but the info I needed was not even on the app and I have no use for it. I didn’t realize how much it cost till it was too late for a refund
This software has so many glitches, support can take weeks to get an answer from, or you get the worng answer, or you will get no answer at all. The glitches are usually big ones and costly to your business. We had high hopes for this software but it continues to dissappoint on a daily basis.
Click stream to book a class should be no more than three clicks. Clicking on a business should bring you directly to the schedule for the business. Clicking on a class to should only ask for confirmation to book the class with subscription already selected / assumed unless otherwise specified. Option to add class to calendar should be specified in settings and the user should not be bothered to specify if they want to add it to the calendar every time.
I never write reviews but figured this one is needed. This app is almost worthless. There’s no way to search for studios, I can’t see a studios schedule. What is the point? Maybe it’s user error but I feel like most of us are pretty tech savvy- the interface is lacking big time. This is no replacement for mindbody!!
Awake Bodies combines excellent instructors with a lovely facility and reasonable prices. I love the classes in Leavenworth! (Haven’t been to the Cashmere facility so can’t speak to that.)
I can’t paste my password in (from my password manager) when creating an account. The first field is fine, but the second field doesn’t take the paste.
I pay monthly $159, and now that I am booking for the first time, it says that I will be charged!! Why??? If I have already paid for the whole month. So I will have to leave the wait list before si am charged 3 times.
This app keeps logging me out. I use it to sign up for yoga classes and this is the third time this week it has logged me out. Very annoying as I have secure passwords that I have to receive each time this happens.
Just got the app to book at a yoga studio, but I can’t search for anything. Everything is blank… I don’t understand how I would follow someone if I can’t even search.
This app is not great. You can only book 10 days ahead and the UX display is needs to be more like a readable list, not like a series of post-it notes. Not happy.
The Momence app makes it very easy for you to manage your Momence account, book into your hosts' classes and events, watch their on-demand content, and keep in touch with the hosts that you are following. You can easily message your hosts if you have a question or want to share something with them. You can also follow their public feed to see any announcements they make, promos they run, or content they share. You can book into events and classes and watch on-demand videos within the app as well.
