I’m sad this didn’t work. We have purchased 10 trees from Moon Valley and they are awesome. 5 have already been planted and we have 5 more coming in March which is the reason I am looking for a landscape design program. I entered two diff emails to register and they both say already registered. One of them made sense since I’ve bought trees from them, but not the second, I hardly EVER give that email out and there’s no way I gave it to them. Big bummer! My guess is they put this app out but no one is paying attention to the fact that it doesn’t work.
I downloaded this awhile ago and it was unusable. I noticed they updated it so I thought I’d try it. It is much better now. I like the fact that I can take a picture of my yard and see what it would look like with different types of trees and plants. My one gripe is that I wish they had more trees to try on here. Hopefully they will add more now that the app is working.
On ipad. Crashes when signing up for an acct. and you go to choose the state. So I created an acct an Mac and then was able to get in on the iPad. But when I went to upload a picture it just routed me back to the home page. The web builder on Mac is also down. That did work last week so maybe it will all be fixed soon.

Once they get your email and verify your cell number with a text, you go to log in and just get a blank white page. That’s it. Nothing else. App is completely broken. All it does is collect your email and phone number to put you on their email list.
This app simply doesn’t work. But it only doesn’t work after they have collected your personal information. Registration doesn’t work—it throws up a screen containing the words “Select a State”, from which you can not select a state, nor can you leave the page.
Can’t get past registration process. Choosing the select state pull-down menu on the registration page causes the iPad screen to lock. There’s no way to back out of this without closing the app and losing all of the information entered to that point. I’m not wasting any more time with this.
It will not send a registration verification text to mu iPhone so you can’t register to use it. based on the other reviews, this app should be repaired or removed. Looks like the last app version was 3 years ago. Maybe they should think about updating it and making it work.
When trying to fill out your registration info to use the app, the State field (filling out the address) will not let you click in the field or select a state. Since it’s a required field, you cannot continue. Totally useless. The online web version on their site is not any better. Don’t bother...
I had a friend show me a mock up of her backyard that Moonvalley did for her, and it looks like they use the app on their end. Unfortunately the photo upload does not work at all. Hopefully they address the issue so that people can utilize this great tool.
This app has never worked. Been trying to upload photos for weeks now with no success. At least the company has all my personal details now so they can hassle my via phone and email!
I took a chance and downloaded this app after reading a few reviews. Sounded like the bugs were fixed. Nope. Just trying to register to use the app is buggy. Can’t select state. It freezes.
I was hopeful this app would work. Said the app only works for IPad. Once you fill out the new account and get to state, no drop down box and freezes up. Tried three times and still no luck.
Download app, give personal contact info just to get a blank white screen. I thought I was doing something wrong but seems everyone has the same experience. Useless.
Should have read the reviews before downloading. Would have rated 0 stars but that was not a choice. Can’t get past activation. I believe this is simply a ruse to collect information, will be deleting this app.
I can’t even get past the registration page. It won’t take my info. It goes to a blank white screen. I shut off my iPad and restarted and that didn’t help.
Tried registering to use. Evidently three of my email accounts have already been used. Don’t advertise if you can’t make it usable, I will go with another nursery.
Lol doesn’t work at all. Will never purchase from moon valley again and that’s what all the neighbors are saying. We get ripped off every time. Way overpriced.
I was happy to find a local nursery that provided landscaping design. However, I tried to set up an account but kept getting the message that the “from” number was invalid. I guess the “from” number is the number from which an admin for the app would send the verification code to me to complete setting up the account. Needless to say I couldn’t go any further.
Bought (11) trees and now trying to simply “create” the account and upon receiving the activation code the app FAILS to allow the user to enter the code and activate the account. Major fail on moon valleys part…if you commit to an app commit to it just like you commit to your nursery…which by the way the nursery in Conroe TX is outstanding…just don’t offer an app unless you are committed to it being usable.
Downloaded the app, set up account, got the verification code texted to me. But when I open the app now and try to log in to enter the code, the screen becomes a solid white screen with no option to use or enter any code.
Worthless app if you can’t properly register and actually use it. It wants to activate the account by sending me a code. It does, but then what? The app won’t ask you to enter the code so you sit in limbo unable to verify the account. What the heck?!!
