I just downloaded the app thinking this would be quicker way to book zed travel than having to login into my laptop and go through my company website, but no. Flight bookings or as it reads “synchronization between MyIDTravel and myidgo is currently disabled”??? Seriously?? Adding it will let me know when it will be available for my airline??? Smh
Finally gave up and decided it wasn’t worth my time. Tried to make a new account but the form reset each time if I missed an entry. Then required me to make the entry I missed and redo all other entries. Terrible UX. I also don’t want to provide both a business and personal email. The form reset after I initially didn’t provide a personal email.
Since downloading this app over a week ago ever time I click on the app all I get is a blank white background/screen. Deleted the app and reinstalled it still doing the same thing
Not one of the best app to use I can never just go to a hotel and book a room’ this app is frustrating to use . I am on the verge of the deleting this app because it’s really not that good. they need to do better than this.
The sync button after you enter the token doesn’t work and it’s impossible to reset your password. Terrible app. Unusable and doesn’t belong in the App Store.
As currently implemented, using the myIDTravel website is a better experience than this app, but if a handful of things could be addressed, it would be a more helpful tool: Slow to login, retrieve updates, and even change between different tabs within the app. Maybe I’m missing it, but I cannot find a single flight number. This should be right next to date and the airline in the header everywhere a leg is listed (e.g. Flights and Trips). Sometimes day-of trips which have not yet departed are listed under Past Trips. What is the difference between Flights, Booking, and Trips? As a non-rev commuter, I only using this for flights, so why do my flights list under Flights and Trips, but not Bookings? Furthermore, under Flights, there is a “Past and Cancelled BOOKINGS” divider label. Is the reason important enough to make all of those sections or could they be combined? I use a password manager, but I have to delete and re-enter the last digit of my password every time.
The “idea” behind this app is there….it just requires time, effort and money to make it happen…something MyID seems to be lacking in all areas. The website itself is archaic, there’s no mobile app for being able to list and book flights on the regular MyIDTravel site, the UI lacks common sense and functionality. As for this app, it requires you to verify your email prior to being able to sign in after creating your account. I never receive emails to “activate/verify” my account and I’ve click the “resend” link over a dozen times and nothing. In typical MyID fashion, I am not surprised nor do I have high hopes for this app or company. Do not waste your time downloading this app and book you rentals through your unions discount programs or via ID90 Travel as THEY know how to design a website and app that ACTUALLY works.
I was hoping the other negative review was wrong but it's true. This app is so broken I can not even access the space to log in. Despite toggling every setting on and off, the popup keyboard appears mostly off screen so typing doesnt work, and copy/pasting seems to be disabled. The desktop website is also unhelpful about any kind of troubleshooting. Too bad because I could really use this app right now. Hopefully they fix the UX issues so it's functional.
I’m in the US and did not experience any of the issues others listed. The verification email came right through, and I was able to search hotels in the US and worldwide.
I am writing this review as your app will not allow retired employees to download unless you have a company email address. I can use this site logging in via my travel benefits of my airline i retired from. Note to the developer many retired employees can still travel, but no longer hold a company email address.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have an easy resource for travel industry discounted hotels/rental cars? Yes, but this is not it. App is poorly designed. Some menu options run off the screen. Prices are significantly higher than an average Joe can obtain on hotwire, priceline, etc. Also, no rental car search available. Yikes!
I have tried to open account but it doesn’t work. It always asks for a work email which I always put in but it keeps on asking for it. I give up and apparently so have the developers.
Why to launch an app without proper resources, this app lacking in everything, crashing on every click. I don’t want to waste my time writing everything about it… just go to web page to save some time.
