I love this all, it makes it so easy to quickly check out my bill and it’s due date, as well as the fact I can VERY EASILY pay my bill! It’s a great app for NIPSCO customers who are always on the run, and I love the paperless billing feature, because my bill comes to my email and everything is done online. I hate calling and waiting to talk to NIPSCO on the phone, so this is an awesome way to avoid this. You can also report outages and other dangerous issues to NIPSCO directly from the app!
Overall the app works for what it’s intended purpose is. How you can make it better: 1. Allow me to set up a payment ahead of the due date. I would like to go in and set up the payment early. The app only allows me to pay on the current date. Not on a future actual due date. Before the app was developed I used another app to pay this bill and it allowed me to do that. You made it impossible for me to still use the old process and more inconvenient with the new one. 2. Be able to report outages through the app. This may be there, but I couldn’t find it. 3. Why do I have to pay extra service charges when I pay through the app?
I had always used the same user name and password for years, same bank account, password. Last year my bank account numbers We’re not accepted at NIPSCO, I kept getting sorry we can’t process your payment, I even called NIPSCO representative, I’m not sure what if any they said. I find out NIPSCO can’t accept my bank account number, with out using new two digit added to my checking account number. To late! I have lost my privileges to make my payments with out occurring extra charge. I received this from NIPSCO stating ,you have been “ dishonorable, or dishonored” you can’t use your regular payment method, for one year. And this also shows up on any back ground checks. So NIPSCO are you guys going to fix this problem, or will I still be on your Dishonered list.

We seem to need things made easy. I know I need something that I can do rather easily because I am very slow. That’s why I am happy to have this program. Thank you for making a program like this.
The NIPSCO app is great and super easy to use. I can access my monthly bill and pay it quickly through the app. However, since I only use the app once a month for bill pay, I find it to be very annoying that I have to update it every time I go to use it. I appreciate the attention to fixing the bugs, but this is inconvenient to do every single time I need access to my account.
A few weeks ago the app allowed you to make payments prior to the bill. Now that feature is not available. With the rise in cost in the energy sector. I can see people not able to pay on time . Please allow your app to make payments anytime before the bill is available.
Service is great!! My only problem is that I have to pay extra to pay my bill. That just doesn’t make sense to me. It’s almost like as a customer I’m being penalized for paying my bill. Just something to think about.
I switched to your app to pay my bill online and ended up putting my routing number in incorrectly and ended up with an overdraft fee! That is bunk. You should check to make sure that account goes through first before you set it up and try to make payments through it!
I have been trying to register my account with this app for a week now and every time I attempt, I get a “service is unavailable” error. Why offer the ease of an app if they won’t make sure it works? It’s funny, every other monthly bill I have works great, but not NIPSCO. Guess they will get it to work when they can somehow earn money off of it
It makes no sense to have Face ID as an option when it prompts you every single time to enter a password! It’s so annoying. Otherwise, the app is great and convenient.
This is the worst utilities app. It’s down for maintenance more than it’s up. Always gives errors and can never check stuff easy cause it’s so slow. Definitely needs an overhaul and a new tech person to get this more user friendly and faster.
This app doesn’t allow users to download a copy of the billing statement. This causes users to have to use the online website. Please update your app and allow users to download the billing statement as all other apps allow us to do so for electronic record keeping.
I love being forced to one gas and electric service and then on top of it, I love being charged to give them their money! Also multiple days to process when paying with a debit card? Can definitely tell how advanced the world is!
Logging in with facial recognition rarely works. It’s frustrating to have the option to use facial recognition and have to enter a password each time I access the app.
I tried to call you need person to person as you were unconnected twice times. I was mistakes to paid $41 a bill twice time a bill and I found that my banking. Please you deposit my banking back $41 twice ok thank you
