WHAT BLUETOOTH????
When I first received my device, I was so excited…I connected to the Bluetooth right away…. a couple days later I sat down to enjoy my device and it took me about 40 minutes to an hour to connect to Bluetooth. I was so tired by then that I didn’t even really want to use the device! I did everything under the sun to connect to Bluetooth… turned my cell on and off, updated app. took the app off etc!!! I even made sure that I have no other Bluetooth device insight and still no connection… Finally they sent me another device, of course sent the old one back… Guess what?? cannot connect to Bluetooth. I just don’t understand. It’s very frustrating!!!!

Revising A Bad Review……
I am re- reviewing Nu Face, as I was very annoyed with the first 2 months after acquiring my device. I had tried everything to connect to my device via my Bluetooth on my iPhone- only being able to 2x. I updated the app, reinstalled it. Turned my phone off and restarted that… turned on Bluetooth and off , the device off and on - even made sure that no other Bluetooth devices or phones were even on nearby just in case in some weird way that way blocking the ability to connect. The app’s help about this issue is a joke. Then I left a one star review explaining all of the above and how frustrated I was. The customer service “answered” my review with a pat answer that suggested I try the exact things I had just described doing. Which shows that they don’t really care enough to actually read these reviews- it was insulting actually. But anyway, I updated my app again today and lo and behold ( trumpets playing) the Bluetooth worked right away!!!! No fiddling around for 40 min then getting so annoyed that I just put the whole thing away like almost every single time before! So… yes, today was a win. I have other observations about this device and app, but today is not for those. Today is a win! Woot woot!

Can’t Connect
A device in this price range, from a brand that has managed to achieve “prestige” should seamlessly connect; no excuses. My brand new Trinity+ will not connect to my iPhone 14 Pro Max. In “pairing mode” when the 3 lights on the Trinity+ light up back and forth, I keep receiving “can’t connect” with a “try again” option. I’ve tried this numerous times with no luck. I’ve tried resetting the actual Trinity+ device multiple times, quitting the app, uninstalling it/reinstalling it, turning Bluetooth on my iPhone off and on, restarting my iPhone. I’ve even tried connecting the Trinity+ to a family member’s iPhone 14 Pro Max. I was hoping maybe an upcoming app update could be all that is needed. But, I see the current app update is only a week old. I’m assuming I’ve purchased what I assumed was a perfect device but is really a defective device. From one of Nuface’s “approved retailers”! I am SO disappointed, this is completely unacceptable from a device that literally touts the Bluetooth app connection as a major feature. Before I’ve even used the device, I’ve already had an unpleasant experience that really tarnishes the brand. How could I ever purchase this as a gift or recommend Nuface after my experience so far? Do they not test connect at the factory? I am just so frustrated.

Eh
I’m surprised to see many 5 star reviews. The instructions are ok but as a first time NuFACE purchaser it would be great to see a list of tips. Like how much activator to apply, any do’s and don’ts, what the lights mean, can I create my own routine, if so what do I need to know, etc. It would also be nice if I could create a custom routine, based on what parts I really wanted to focus on and on certain days. Some days I have more time in the morning so I can have a longer routine. The thing that really gets me is EVERY TIME I login I get not only one but TWO popups asking to sign up for reminder notifications. For someone who doesn’t have a set schedule or already has a routine, they don’t need notifications so it shouldn’t forced down a customers throat. This should be put in the settings and after ONE TIME it should never ever pop up again. I use my trinity+ two times a day (micro-current and red light) so the popups get really annoying. I’ve sent this to their support but have yet to see it changed in any app updates.

Why won’t it pair!?!
I’ve had this device since January. It worked great for a while and then no matter what I tried no matter what troubleshooting I could not get it to pair. Customer Service was great and they ultimately sent me a new device. Super! It paired yay problem solved… then lo and behold I didn’t use it for a few days. I went to use it again and it said I needed to connect to Bluetooth. OK. It will not pair. I try 45 minutes later. I’m frustrated and ready to throw this extremely expensive device that doesn’t work to its full potential in the trash! What do I need to do to get this to pair? I have downloaded the new app. I have erased my old device and tried to re-initiate the device. I have gone through the procedure process so many times and so incredibly frustrated. I gave this device to stars because when it works, I give it four stars but so frequently I’ve been wasting time and feeling frustrated by it.

Can’t Even Connect
I don’t know why this app has so many good reviews. I have tried every troubleshooting recommendation from NuFace and I can’t even connect my device. Customer service sent me another device and swore it was a problem with the hardware and not the software but as someone who works in software I knew that couldn’t be the case. The second device doesn’t connect and there’s no way to use the app without connecting to Bluetooth. I’ve seen tons of reports online that people can’t connect which is bonkers for a device at this price point. It’s like they have no QA team. I have a number of devices with accompanying apps and all of them connect easily and quickly. The one time it did work, just getting the treatments to load took multiple minutes making the process WAY longer than it needed to be. So infuriating. I was looking forward to my NuFace but holy smokes this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a product out of the gate.

Once Again an “Update” Breaks Bluetooth Connectivity
NuFace - please do better with quality control and testing of new app releases before deploying new versions to the App Store. For the umpteenth time since purchasing this device in November 2022, an “update” is released only to result in breaking Bluetooth connectivity. This renders the device useless in regards to being able to use the Smart technology that adjusts megahertz during certain treatments in the app. Yes, it can be used offline, but these devices are not inexpensive and the frequent Bluetooth issues are very frustrating for customers who prefer to use the treatments in the app. Please fix this repetitive issue of losing Bluetooth connectivity. Please don’t send boilerplate instructions to me for troubleshooting. I’ve done the steps so many times since last November, I know the drill.

Love to follow the treatments but often in the middle of a treatment the app fails to respond to turning the device off and on again to start the next step. Very annoying as you have to leave the app abs try to start all over again Also cannot pair my Truity plus with the app have tried many times and I am still unsuccessful and have to do the treatments without being connected

APP exclusive to plus models
Some of us have been purchasers for years and have equipment that is unable to pair. What annoys me is that I have a mini plus and the last version of the Trinity. I could go through the selected routine on the mini plus (and don’t really need the app for that), but would love to see the guided tips on the ELE, which I use for added attention to the eye area. It’s annoying to be gated from that content. I gather, since I have had the Trinity for some time and now have the mini plus, that the drills are no different than have been posted to YT. I don’t really understand gating the app at all (or why you don’t come out with a device agnostic app ). You want people to buy and use your devices and repeat purchase; why not make your content exquisite and robustly available?

Unimpressed and Annoyed
For $500, my trinity pro and this app are annoying and inconsistent. The app at times will open to the Home Screen, where it says NuFace and go no further. The device itself will sometimes turn on and sometimes not, depending on if it’s connected to the Bluetooth. I’d really like to just use the device without the app, but that doesn’t seem feasible. The reason this process can be annoying is because I’ll put the $50 small amount of activator gel on my neck and after finagling with the device and app for over 10 minutes, the gel is dry and I have to use more as a result. How am I supposed to consistently be using this if I have to reconnect the device every time, the app won’t open, or the device won’t turn on? Seriously considering returning it, because this is not worth the hassle at all.

I was so excited to see my NuFACE now had an app with videos! I looked everywhere for more information when I first got my NuFACE but there just wasn't much out that I could find, I had questions. This app is perfect and answers so many of the questions I had when I first got it. however I see my lNuFace is outdated and will not work with the most exciting part you offer your users. I did buy more products and added the small wand for smoothing lines. Is it possible that you would offer a train in program to upgrade our earlier models? Flaky
Very troublesome app. First, after 2 months of daily use including photos, I couldn’t connect. After a day of problems, I finally got back in and **all my progress photos were gone**. Tried customer support but they couldn’t help. Fine. Start over. It’s a good thing I use another app to log all my skin care routines and had a few photos there. But since I took most of my photos with this app, I did lose a lot. Then yesterday, I couldn’t connect to my device. **Tried everything listed in the app**, no joy. Finally deleted my device and re-entered it. Great. Connected. Today I go back and now all my previous routines are gone. Crikey. Just a flaky app. I will still use it but buyer beware. Don’t depend on this app to be the end all, be all.

Great idea but glitchy
First off let me say I absolutely 100% love my NuFACE device. It is spectacular & does exactly what it says. This app however needs some work. When it works it’s amazing! I love the easy to follow tutorials & the app exclusive facials are excellent. But the app doesn’t always work the way it’s supposed to. It takes far too much time to upload & while now it syncs w/ the routines it doesn’t always follow thru smoothly. Lately it kicks me out of the app completely once I’ve finished a routine. Great concept - just make it better. I know I’m not the only person w/ these issues b/c I’ve seen several reviews w/ similar complaints. Your product is exceptional - your app should be as well.

I like the device but the app needs major work
Issues that need immediate attention: 1 - We need the ability to exit the app in the middle of a treatment without pausing the treatment/video. I've done enough treatments to know what the next step is and don't need the app to always be on. 2 - add a routine for the NuBody device...no routine or treatment exists for it on the app and I have had the NuBody device for months now! 3 - allow users the ability to mute the audio for the entire treatment and not just the step in the treatment. Having to mute the audio for each step in the treatment is cumbersome and inefficient. 4 - add more models with mature skin, why does everyone look like they are in their 20s and maybe early 30s at most. 5 - include information about the devices (specs) I.e. wavelengths for the wrinkle reducer, current levels, nanometers etc. It should be readily available on the app to show how effective this device is compared to other versions (I.e mini) 6 - add more routines for the wrinkle reducer attachment, there is only one. If you need me to expand on any of the points I would be happy to explain further. I like the device and want to see this product succeed.

Cannot even create account or login
Update to developer response: Hi. Yes. Reading comprehension is a thing. I noted that I was unable to create an account; perhaps I should have specified that this problem occurs within the app, but since I’m reviewing something on the App Store… In other words, the solution provided does not work, which is why I went to the website to create an account in the first place. And I’m sorry but what idiot made it so the website has a different credentialing system than the app? End of edit. What else should I say? You’d think a device at this price point could at least have a companion (if one is even necessary) that works properly. I see reviews stating that they’re unable to pair the device, but I can’t even create an account. I have tried going directly to the NuFACE website (created an account without any problem there) but when I try to use the login credentials in the app, I get a password error message. Try to create a new account? It won’t let me enter a password. I’m it getting paid to troubleshoot your software, but I suspect someone is. They aren’t doing their job.

On my second Nuface device and no luck…
My first Nuface device was tricky to connect (and I am a software engineer). After a few days of uninstalling the app and reinstalling, turning Bluetooth on and off, powering phone down and on again, and charging and recharging the device, it worked. Then I went away for a month and didn’t bring it. When I came back, it wouldn’t turn on. Support was kind of helpful, but it was taking so long to do anything so I went back to Nordstrom and swapped it out. Now, I am back in the same predicament I was in on round one. Cannot connect. Tried all the steps again over the last few days and no luck. Will probably have to go return it and likely won’t bother with getting another new one.

Missing LED routine after latest update
Applied latest update and the routine to use the LED attachment is missing! I called Nuface and they said it was an issue with the update. The solution was to swipe up to end the process, in my apple device and then the missing routines would appear, which they did. I am updating my review as the app is working very well now. The only thing I would add is that when the developer changes the app, there needs to be more testing done as users who will use the app many different ways.

I rec’d it yesterday. Loaded the APP and it was nice to be able to see clear directions, thank you. This is my 2nd NuFACE purchase. Is there a way to adjust the sound on this new device? My older unit was easy to hear, this one not so. Also why don’t you make a substantial container box to hold these costly devices? One that is tall enough to prevent anything from potentially falling out and has designated slots for the attachments with proper padding & perhaps a mirror? It’s a project carefully gathering every piece to move to another location be it my bed, recliner or bathroom.

New routines for loyal “founding” customers
You have the new Trinity+ with new routines, and I understand it has added features, but as a long time customer who’s been your client from the start of your company, I wish you would create new routines for those of us who cannot just jump to the new version that will allow us to get similar results with a combination of all our other devices. I understand it might take up to twice the time for equal results, but that would be in my view the trade-off for not being able to purchase the new one.

Frustrated
Update: the developer did reach back out but with the same suggestion that I have already tried. I am no closer to having this issue resolved. As I read through other reviews I see I’m not the only one having this same issue. Still frustrated! I have been having issues with the app opening. It will do the Face ID and then just close. I have the most updated version and have removed it and reinstalled it numerous times. I have shut my phone off and rebooted it but who has time for all of this in the morning when getting ready. I have reached out but they have not been able to help in resolving this issue. Just frustrated!

Treatments are Good, but I Cannot Connect
The options for treatments are great. This app is full of tips and advice. The issue is the bluetooth connectivity. I’ve tried everything I can to connect my NuFace mini. Turned my phone off, turned my device off, plugged the device in, updated the app, restart the device and restart my phone. In the time I’ve been having this issue I even got a new phone. Nothing has worked. It’s really frustrating buying a device that is heavily advertised as bluetooth compatible, then not even being able to use the bluetooth feature.

Love my NuFace
I love my NuFace Mini and the app. This device is effective and shows noticeable results immediately. The app and video tutorials make the device so easy to use. This is the go-to staple in my anti-aging routine. It’s portable and comes on every trip with me. When I first got my Mini, I did one side of my face only and could tell that side was dramatically lifted and tightened. Highly recommend…terrific product that actually does what it says. Videos really help
I found the videos to be really helpful. For some reason they make it a lot easier to follow a regular schedule. Probably because I don’t get distracted with whether or not I am doing it right or remembering if it is the second or third round. The videos just streamline the sessions by keeping me on task. Love the device- using Trinity.

Hit or miss
Initially, I would have given a five star rating but I have been using it for over a week and it can be glitchy. Today the same video was playing twice which kind of does not make sense. It was playing and a second narration was playing with a second delay on top of it. I was listening to two narrations at the same time. This seems to happen if I pause it for some reason. I also discovered that two of the treatments are identical, even though they have different names.

App won’t recognize the device
I am now on my third device - two trinity+ and one mini+ and I cannot get my device to be recognized. My first Trinity plus stopped being recognized after four months. So I exchanged it and got a new one. I’ve had it four months and now it’s stopped being recognized. I have tried every trick I have found online and nothing works. It is so frustrating to pay this much money for a high-end product that has “app exclusives“ that are unavailable to me. The company is not helpful and this app gives no details of what the issue could be. I’m just extremely frustrated.

Newest update is not good
I can no longer listen to a podcast or book while I do my treatment, the sound of the app takes over every time the screen changes. Also, PLEASE remember to test with accommodation settings. I have my font size increased on my phone (as perhaps quite a few of your older users do?) and the app is almost unusable as important buttons are now enlarged to the point they are off the screen. Everything is smooshed together. I’ve just been doing the treatments without the app it’s so bad.

Cannot Connect
The device does not connect to the phone easily and I cannot do the tutorial videos unless the device is connected. Would like an option to do the video without the device being connected since there are connection issues. It takes me longer to get the device connected than it does to actually do the treatment.

Takes the guesswork out of treatments!
I really love using the app during my NuFACE treatments - following along step by step makes me feel like im getting the most out of each treatment. It’s super easy to use and new facials get added all the time, so even though I’ve had my device for a long time, I’m still getting a lot of use from it.

I connected my Trinity+ device and love following along with the treatments. I would honestly be lost on how to use the device without the treatments so I find the app extremely helpful and easy to use. I wasn’t able to connect my Fix device but am still able to follow along with the treatments. I would love to see treatments for the NuBODY device.

Simple & Fun
I downloaded the app to learn how to use my new Trinity+ device. I got the hang of it after a few days of practice. My favorite part is being able to take a selfie before and after the treatment. I can totally see an improvement over time and it’s really fun looking at my old photos and old jawline compared to new!! Thank you

Seriously! I love love everything about this product and with the app there’s no guessing or counting minutes. I’ve been using microcurrent facial treatments for about three years
. Never found one as quick with most results and less sensitivity as the Trinity devices. At 73 years old, I continue to work out my face and my body. No one will believe my age. I allow them to say, you’re just a kid and then I tell them I’m not. Lol.

Videos repeat step
Hi! I just got my device and I’ve seen two different videos and they both repeat the neck when the step is supposed to be of the cheek. It’s hard to remember the first side when it gets to the other and shows the neck step visually but marked as the correct step. It would be great if it’s corrected and or a way to go back and see the step from the other side. I feel like based off memory I could be doing the steps wrong and placing the device incorrectly.

Still glitches
The app still glitches and a times will not allow you to start a treatment. Also, when in certain treatments, the holds are different on the left side than the right side. For example, left cheek has you doing horizontal hold two different times right cheek only has a horizontal hold one time. I love the NuFACE Trinity plus and I’m using it on a iPhone 14 but it is getting very annoying because it still continues to have the same glitches even after the update.

Limited functionality and insufficient instruction
I like that I can follow treatments on the app but here’s what it’s missing: basics of how to use, care for, get started, etc. And don’t point me to the user manual in tiny font. Show me with short videos. I can’t bookmark or save/like blog posts. I have to search for specific ones every time. Same goes for treatments. Let us filter by our favorites. When I try to go to the website using the browser on my device, it brings me to the app. Frustrating! It assumes that new users know what a nasal labial fold is. There are common areas to hold the orbs regardless of treatment. Show us where they are before I actually start a treatment. We’re using electrical current on our face and I want to have some confidence when I start that I know what the heck I’m doing!

Happy I bought my Nu Face
So happy I purchased this tool, have added the infrared attachment and I notice a real difference. The app is a must have, helps you do the different exercises correctly and it tracks your progress. I’m in love. It’s only been 10 days in. I will again write a review when I’m 30 days in.

So after reading the reviews this just means the issue with syncing my NuFace was never resolved because we are now in 2024 and the problem still exists. I’ve been trying to sync my NuFace for the last 24 hours and nothing has been resolved. Please do not follow up with refresh my iPad or phone just share that this app does not function and pull it off the app because clearly I have to return the product due to flase steps you have provided. Please remove app if your not going to fully fix the problem.

Loving it!!
I love how easy it is use the app and complete my treatments! With the latest updates, I’m also able to filter through treatments and find exactly what I need. I also happened to run out of activator and I was able to subscribe and shop via the app, amazing! This app has it all!!

Fix your app, or find a way to make videos accessible
How are you going to charge people upwards of $500 for a device yet have a completely broken app? I thought it was just me, but finding all of these reviews with stock customer service replies had me reeling. It’s near impossible to find a helpful tutorial for first-time users without connecting to the app via bluetooth - find a way to make your videos accessible to your customers if you’re not going to fix your busted technology. This is completely bogus.

Device does not connect
I have had my device for nearly a year. After the first 2 weeks of using the device it suddenly stopped connecting. Since then I have not been able to get the device to connect to the app. I’ve followed the troubleshooting several times and it does not connect. I don’t know if it is the device or the app. However, this seems to be a common and ongoing issue that NuFace does not seem to want to correct.

NUFACE WORKS
Here you have a device that works wonders! I saw immediate results and unbelievable results over a short time. My face appeared more tone, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Immediate result was a healthy glow, a circulation boost for my face. The routine takes only a few minutes and Progress is recorded in the app. NUFACE works. You will swear by it.

Tremendous difficulty in syncing Bluetooth
Tremendous difficulty in syncing Bluetooth—unlike anything g else I’ve experienced, and I use the Oura ring, various Fitbit devices, etc, etc, with zero trouble syncing on Bluetooth. From day 1 to the 7th day I’ve used this literally zero difference is appearance. Makes me co cernes that the device I have is defective. Calling customer support is a joke, as there will be no answer, and the phone disconnects, because they’re simply too busy. 🙄. Should have gone with Foreo. Who knows, maybe they’re better apt to help their customers.

Better skin for any age
Great product to use at home when it’s convenient. I’m 66 yrs old most people think I’m in my 40s … I try to use it 4 times a week. But I don’t. Let a week go by without using it. You can tell the difference in two weeks if you have not use it.

The 5 minute facial treatment is my absolute favorite and has easily become apart of my weekly routine! Good app but glitches
I love the NuFace app when it works. The tutorials are helpful and the tracking by pictures is a fun addition. I find every few times I got to start a treatment, the pre-video will play, but the for treatment tutorial never starts. I keep tapping “start treatment” and nothing loads. So that’s disappointing. I can still use my device, but it’s frustrating that the app doesn’t work consistently.

I have the original Trinity device and there are only a few routines for this device. Then I get routines recommended for me but when I click on them the treatment can not be performed with my device. Also I have the Fix It device and there aren’t any routines (that I can find) for this device. I would like to see recommended treatments and routines for all the devices.

After 8 months of owning the NuFace device, I am very frustrated by its consistent connectivity issues. The device doesn’t stay connected to the app. After trying numerous times to connect the device without success, I finally had to remove the app and reinstall it. I thought after doing this that my troubles would be over, but 2 days later, the device wouldn’t connect and I had to remove the app and reinstall it. Very frustrating!
