The idea behind this is great, but the app barely functions. I can’t get it to even get past a loading screen now. That keeps people from being able to view/enter homes listed. Just needs some TLC.
I couldn’t even believe how fast it was to download the app and just go check out the closest for sale home. We just started looking and the house in our neighborhood wasn’t for sale very long, but with the ease of the app I was able to get in and get out with no problems, took my time looking at the rooms with no real estate agent making me feel nervous, and I got to see it when I got a second in my schedule without having to coordinate with anyone else. It was great, I just wish there were more houses for sale that had it!
The app is not user friendly, terrible and confusing. Despite huge advertising on their properties saying “SELF TOUR” you DO need a realtor to tour the homes. Despite calling, asking for access 2 different people at the call center told me I couldn’t access without an agent. I submitted a generous offer on a property. They took FIVE days to respond “they decided to go forward with another offer” yet the property is still for sale. I would’ve gladly offered more but after reading their reviews I trusted my gut and walked away. I’m now purchasing a larger home for the same price I offered on the Offerpad house. Unless you want MORE stress on top of your house hunting experience I’d highly suggest staying away from this company.
App is very functional and allows you to filter through homes based upon pricing, bedrooms, pool, etc. I like being able to see other homes near by and seeing properties on a map.
Once you upload it you can’t delete it or edit. I forgot to add an upgrade but once I submitted I could go back to edit also I couldn’t delete a photo I put on
How stupid of me to give you all of my personal information and you don’t even let me go in the house to look at it I’m sitting in front of the house yet I can’t go in and look at it what a waste of my time I’m deleting your app don’t bother calling me
Repeatedly asked I download the new app then would not accept my password. Reset the password twice and still the same frustration. I deleted the app from my iPhone.
I contacted to get an offer on my home. Complete waste of time and they give you the run around. No support and the agents do not answer or return calls.
For the first two weeks app worked great. Afterwards the app kept crashing. Now have to go to the website that doesn’t recognize the password and username every time it’s time to log in. Good concept but Offerpad needs to fix the bugs. Frustrating!
Ever since I signed up, I haven’t been able to access any homes. The instructions on the door say to text a 5 digit number OR an 844 number to gain access. I did that. I received an automated message stating “We're Sorry. We can't find that house code. Please verify the house code and send it again.” What house code? So I called the 800 number. Finally got a person (after LOTS of ringing) named Melissa. She asked for my name, phone number, email address and then my MLS number. I said I’m a buyer not a realtor. So she asked for my DL instead 🙄 but I FINALLY got the code to get in. After returning to my own home I’ve been trying to figure out and correct the log in issue with the stupid app, but I’m STILL having issues. I deleted the app and re-downloaded it. I changed my password (no small feat). It STILL states I don’t have a verified email address. HATE THIS APP.
