I've got two main issues with this app. First is that it has not been updated for iPhone X and up. The top and bottom have black bars. The second is that it is very tedious to find appointment times. I have to search a date range, select a day, select a procedure, and I then have available times displayed. Guess what, if there are no times available, now I have to click the back button which takes me all the way back to the date range search. Just make the process easier, list all available times in a scrollable list and have a separator per day.
If I could rate this app I would! I am a regular platelet and blood donor to one blood and to make my appointments through the Internet, and I was happy to download the app, thinking it would be useful, however, it’s proven to be annoying and totally useless! the app doesn’t work! Having an account and logging in it does nothing I’ve deleted it and read downloaded it and it still doesn’t work! It’s inconvenient to make an appointment. I prefer doing it online and I end up having to go through the email that I get from one Blood and that link rather than able to use the app. Fix it or get rid of it.
The app is very basic. The user interface is mildly friendly. Scheduling an appointment is too difficult , it should be simple to select a time and place but it isn’t. Apart from your personal info, there is nothing on here. Needs a massive update.
I gave up on this app months ago and just saw that it had been updated to fix my biggest (not only) complaint with the app. Which is difficulty with signing in. Yet again I can’t sign in. It says it has sent my email a password change link but no email ever arrived. I like having the app as a way to check eligibility to donate but the bugs are still there. In it’s current state this is an utterly useless app in my opinion.
Neither the app nor the website could link my account to my donation using their own information. Called customer service and when I finally got to a person all he did was let me waste even more of my time trying to explain the problem and then forwarded me to someone else’s voicemail without even trying to help. Creeps me out that I trusted these people to take blood.
This App will not let me update my address and phone number and other information. That is very basic. Review update: If I could give this app a negative review, I would. It took the developers 7 months to respond to me, just to tell me I need to contact them to update my profile information. What app will not let you update basic information in your profile? A very bad one.
This app works perfectly for me. iPhone XR, no black bars at top and bottom like someone said. All my info carried over from my account just by signing in.
It works great for me! Shows all the info I want, but the only issue is I can’t schedule an appointment for the Big Red Bus. I can only find appointments for the donation centers. Fix that and it’s 5 stars all the way!
If you asked someone to write the worst app EVER it would be better then this app. When I want to know my blood preasure and chlorserieal from my last donation I have to cluck into 10 different screens. It’s impossible to find wher to donate. There is a map but that says click a marker. So now I know where Home Depot is. I know where Cracker Barrel is but where can I donate???????? So frustrating.
This app needs a lot of work – very difficult to set up a new account (had to call donor center to get unit number, and they didn’t know it either), won’t auto populate the user fields with saved info., or allow me to save my login information on my devices. Also won’t allow me to edit my phone number, which has changed since my initial donation.
My main reason to use the app is to find locations and schedule an appointment. Horribly useless, the map is more difficult than a list, I cannot find specific donation (Re platelets) without clicking all the markers. Not user friendly at all
I received the email that raves about the new one blood website but NOTHING about how to download the new one. The server is always down on the current one and you all make it very difficult to find a drive. The two times I’ve scheduled appts the bus didn’t show. Please communicate better.
You an view results, but that’s about it... needs to connect with Apple health app, face id, etc. would be good to Download all the data out of this app automatically to the health app so we can have all of the information quickly available.
Your mobile app is not working to accept passwords. I can get in with my password on a laptop computer with Firefox browser or using the Safari app on my iPhone. Please fix the mobile app. Bill Lewis XTreme IT
It took me 20 minutes to sign in, to get a new password... then I'm finally signed in and trying to schedule an appointment, go to the time that works for me and I can't click the Schedule button! The app is useless if I can't schedule my donation time
This app used to work ok , not great. But now it doesn’t work at all I’ve missed 2 appts because of this app. Nobody can help , ever since OneBlood took over it’s run so horrible. I’m not sure if I even want to donate anymore
App was pretty intuitive to use, but the “Schedule” button doesn’t work once you find an appointment. Kind of useless if you can only see appointments.
I’m an obligate RX donner but even with my profile filled in I can’t make an appointment for a draw! Try calling the clinic and get answering machine and no returned call for days!
When I launch the app lately, it asks me to enter my user name and password, which were previously saved. If this was due to the last update, it should be fixed to eliminate this need. When I try to make an appointment, I have to hunt on a map to find the donor center I always use. One should be able to enter a zip code and have nearby donor centers pop up in order of proximity. It must be updated to use FaceID to login! I don’t remember my password or have time to look it up every time I want to schedule a donation, and this has delayed my scheduling appointments at a time when there are blood shortages. The app desperately needs to be updated to use Face ID. There is currently a shortage issue at one blood, and I wanted to check when I last donated, but since I could not login, I could not check in, therefore could not donate.
That’s it in a nutshell. In reading reviews it is obviously not a priority for OB. Developer responses are not timely. See replies posted fro 3-9 months after reviews are posted.
This is by far the worse app I’ve had. Always issues with it and now it simply doesn’t log me in. After I input my username and password it just stays there doing nothing. I thought it was only mine so my husband tried. Same thing. It is the app.
