Ease of a wide range of user friendly and function applications.
Excellent overall online ease of use. Straight forward with broad and thorough integration of my various OnPoint, online accounts and other bank ledgers transferring smoothly from my multiple checking accounts I have withOnPoint and transfer to QuickBooks for reconciliations and accounting ledger category organization. Some features are a little hard to find initially, but they work well once identified. Your customer service on the phone is also very helpful excellent and you’re always able to help rectify any concerns I have. The waiting time on hold is never more then 5 minutes. Thank you for providing a great and easy to use excellent mobile deposit feature that works well for mobile deposits and saves more time and makes my life more efficient! The categories that are auto generated for each of the checks is often not correct and it seems like certain categories aren’t specific enough. I think there is no set up in the options to add any new category you want.

I’m impressed
Since I was introduced to the app i was continually having questions. Not that the app was hard to navigate because the drop menu and access to all my accounts are easy. Linking external accounts took a phone call to Onpoint but was also a straight forward process. I spoke to Gina Marlo who helped me understand and complete the connection. She was very helpful and excited to take me step by step. This makes me want to bank with only Onpoint and I look forward to doing so in the many years to come. The app is so convenient and this helps me day to day be stress free. I’m able to see everything done on my account and maneuver where I want, how I want, when I want to keep my credit score high. I’m very happy with Onpoint and there employees.

Default mobile deposit settings
It would be great if there was an option to change default settings for mobile deposit. The first time I used it was a rarely used category of child support, into my personal account. Now every time I deposit a check via the mobile option, which is often, it is automatically categorized as “child support”. This happens in my business account as well even though I never put “child support” checks in that account. It’s annoying to have to change it every time. At least let me default to “mobile deposit” or “uncategorized”. I’ve discussed this issue with tellers and managers since the inception of mobile deposit. Please change the coding for this. Thank you. The default on the mobile bill pay app is tricky too because it automatically defaults to my business payroll account and this account is never used to pay bills. I’ve been caught with insufficient funds several times for thinking the the mobile would default to the account I use for that specific bill. Otherwise, the app is fantastic. I like the security of OnPoint CU very much. The app is easy to use.

The app needs some updates
I switched over from OSU Credit Union to this one and the design of this app is making me regret it. I loved my OnPoint experience so far and have tried to work with this app, but it’s been so frustrating to me that anytime I make a purchase or pay a bill, the transactions I’ve made do not show immediately, nor in the correct order that i made them. Sometimes it will say it’s pending, but it doesn’t subtract that amount from my total. I never trust the available balance it shows because unless I haven’t made a purchase in the last two days, it’s not going to be correct. I also don’t like that I can’t make a transfer from my credit card to my debit card. If I am moving around my money between my own accounts I don’t see why it should take a whole two business days to do that. These are the main things I like to use a banking app for and I can’t enjoy any of them. The OSU app does a much better job at all of this for sure. I have tried to like it for 6 months now expecting there to be updates addressing these issues, but I’ve seen nothing yet. I don’t even care about how it looks I just want it to be helpful.

Great but needs a little work
The app is great for mostly everything you need to do. Check accounts, make transfers, deposit, make payments on other accounts or loans. I would like to see a couple more options. On other banking apps I have been able to preview certain account balances without logging in, like how much my credit cards has on it for example, and I really liked that feature. One thing that has really irritated me about this app- not sure if it was a glitch or what but it doesn’t always update with the current balance of accounts. I have one account where I use it as a weekly allowance as part of my budgeting, so I check it all the time and it didn’t update once for 4 days. Thinking I still has money in the account I kept spending and it over drafted me! Even after that happened it still didn’t update until I logged onto a computer THEN it updated on my phone. Besides that I think it’s great

Horrible
Horrible bank and nasty people working there. Who don’t know what they are doing, they will blame you everything the banks fault or the customer service people at the front desk, literally do whatever they want to the customer! And this an issue that been going on at OnPoint over at, MALL 205, 102 an stark Washington st! Don’t ever go there and do business with them! Because you don’t matter to them never do! I been with them 10yrs! And the way the treat me when their security system is very weak that even toddler can hack in! And they will blame your phone if your identity is compromised by there lack of security system! They told me to take my phone geeg swqa and I did and they didn’t even do nothing to my phone! OnPoint just wanted to punish me for there mistake! I have evidence and everything and still they act like they heard you at all! Only what they say goes! My acc is been compromised twoic in the same week! And not only me!! And cuz what they put me on suspend because I’m just sheep to them! Let be real! Nobody care about the customer only ther money they care about!! So pls do not go to on ONPOINT! Horrible bank sick people working there!!!

Good except bill pay stinks
This is my 5th on-line banking app and everything EXCEPT bill payment function works as one would hope/expect. There have been several times when an amount was supposed to be taken out of our account at a specific time but it ended up being before or after the expected date. We should be able to designate when we want payment removed from our account AND see when it would be received by payee. We can decide for ourselves if both “removed by” and “received by” are acceptable to us/the account holder. I have spoke with customer service a couple times about issues I have found uniquely problematic with this aspect of the app but they can’t do much about it. Wer’e considering discontinuing using the app for this reason which would likely mean we’d have to redirect our direct deposits to another bank. Hate to do that as like so many other aspects of OnPoints service!

Hard to see
I’ve seen no improvement The problem with most apps is that you can’t change the font size I am visually impaired and this app is hard to work with because I can’t make the font size bigger I’ve made mistakes because of this In consideration on the part of on point and the construction of this app I am giving it a generous two stars. I understand that I would give onpoint five Stars but because of this app, OnPoint has been downgraded to 3 1/2 stars. Many functions overlap information that is needed to fill out the form properly there is too much chance for error using this app as it is. Thanks simpler and more in line with what the average person might encounter with an app that might be used to balance the budget pay your bill etc. another words make it use it more user Friendly. No improvements noticed your developers seem to be lazy. Not addressing issues. That visually impaired or elderly individuals might have. Is just flat inconsiderate. I may even lower my rating.

Server latency and server errors & kicks abound.
Been a member for a few years now. It’s fine if your close to a branch, but how many times their system won’t let me log in via app or mobile browser is getting out of hand. It’s not a good feeling to be trying to pay bills and you can’t even log in to your banking. Personal accounts of you have the flexibility are fine but I would highly caution setting up business accounts where you don’t have time to deal with their server constantly just kicking you out because it’s faulty. Great people at OnPoint but near criminal level access to your online banking for getting logged on and staying logged on. This isn’t a activity timer issue it literally will boot me and then say server error no matter what device or method I try using. Going to start transferring my accounts to the big banks again, they don’t have these issues nearly as much. I hope this is constructive somehow, because I will miss the extremely kind people. Covers the basics but it’s buggy
I love the convenience of the app and the ability to basically bank from home. However, there are constantly giant warning messages that obscure views — if they’re always there they loose effectiveness and just be one annoying. The facial recognition works about half the time. This is the only app that has this issue and it’s really frustrating when it doesn’t work for the app but immediately works for saved password login. And, lastly they recently added a text authentication where you can register your device - awesome! In theory you shouldn’t have to keep registering but in practice I’ve registered six times. I get the email saying the device is registered but I log back on and have to do it again. All of these things are minor but they add up and be one annoying especially compared to other apps.

It’s a good app
The app is good, not as user friendly as others. Take a look at BankofAmerica s app. I haven’t found a way to change repeating payments, other than to delete it and rebuild a new one. Also it would be great to have a safe credit card for online shopping. BankofAmerica has their “Shop Safe” cars which you load with cash, set the limit for each purchase and expiration dates. This one is good and very useable. Update this app still works. The BofA app died when os 11 came out in January 2019. No amount of phone calls to the techies at BofA was successful in getting it to work again. Then throughout the attempts I now cannot sign into the online BofA site. No more BofA for me.

I’ve had on point for at least a year now and it’s been great
Last weekend on point I had an update, and it completely ruined my access to using a debit card. I am Absolutely disappointed that not only was I not able to transfer funds, use the ATM or anything else that I’ve never had happened before using any type of banking or credit union because I do bank with an another credit union but when I went to the bank they told me I was all set because I was able to pull out cash using their ATM, but as soon as I left, I went to the local convenience store and my card was again declined, which is absolutely embarrassing. And that was happening for two days straight, grabbing lunch, energy drinks for work, even gas. luckily I had cash on hand every time but this will not go unnoticed! As soon as the line isn’t out the door at my local bank because everyone is dealing with this inconvenience. I will be cashing out all my funds and closing my account.

Not good
I made double payments to my credit card on accident because the balance transfers are so slow on this app Update Why did my previous review get deleted? This app feels so outdated. When I log into OnPoint and then I log into my citi bank app it’s night and day difference. The citi app is modern, easy to use, and feels much less laggy, glitchy, and problematic. This OnPoint app feels like it was developed 15 years ago. And now with the credit card for example when I click on my statement it re-routes me to some link that’s not in the app. Also on my citi app, I’m able to ask for a credit limit increase directly through the app without doing a hard credit check. OnPoint does not offer that through the app, you have to call them on the phone and wait 25-30 minutes on hold if it’s a busy hour. OnPoint also requires a hard credit check to increase your credit limit.

Somehow Even Worse
I am genuinely surprised that they managed to make their app worse! The old app was very rough around the edges, and still didn’t even offer proper screen support for an iPhone 6 in 2018! Yet, it was functional and reliable. They then made the extremely questionable decision of creating a new separate (yet identical) app instead of simply updating the one that already existed, and then forced us to download it. The interface is technically more modern, but still not well done. Buttons routinely do not respond, mobile deposit is borderline unusable, and the overall scale and design of text and content is poorly thought out. I am deeply disappointed with this app. I literally need it to do two things, and it can barely handle that. The only saving grace is that they finally added support for biometric login, but for some reason it requires you to press a “Touch ID” button (which again doesn’t consistently respond) before using it, and that really doesn’t make sense.

Overall OnPoint is good. The branch manager at my location is not exactly kind and friendly. Asst manager is very helpful and friendly. Since their expansion they ha e so many new young tellers and they have changed how it goes and feels at the counter. Prior to expanding it was like family, an overall fantastic experience but now, just like going to BofA or USBANK. Cold and not outwardly friendly. The older ladies or the ladies with years of experience are the best but they’re gone now. You will like OnPoint but I really wish they were the old OnPoint from 3 years ago. I’ve banked with them over 10 years and have personal and business accounts. Not gonna leave but man, again, I wish they would go back to their old system. I heard OnPoint hired ex B Of A executives to handle and develop their expansion and they changed a lot.

Give us password reminders not just password resets!
I think your app is fine other than the fact that yours is the only company I’ve ever banked with that does not have an option to choose of sending an email with your password reminder if you answer all of the prompts correctly instead of an automatic password reset if you are locked out from trying too many times. This practice is discriminatory against people with memory issues such as the elderly, autistic, ADHD and other learning-disabled customers. This issue is compounded with the fact that you cannot get an actual person on the phone to unlock your account over the weekend so have to wait until Monday to get any help. Making the situation worse over is the more password resets you do, the less likely you will be to remember your most recent password you were forced to create just to look up your own account information like your non-learning disabled community members. I’ve brought this up before and requested it be escalated for consideration by decision-makers and heard encouraging words but nothing has ever changed. Let’s change this! Do something good to help your customers! If I’m having trouble with this then many other people are as well! Hasn’t this last year been hard enough? Can’t we simplify this one thing for so many? been loyal over 14 yrs and referred many to OnPoint CCU.
Onpoint gave my daughter and I car loan which was quickly paid off and they have been a good financial source while I've been in Europe and Israel, without blocking use of my card or otherwise impacting my travel expenses, and they do not make charges against me because if I lack funds it says Card Declined and that is fine. So I've had no reason to quit Onpoint and have used them for over a decade. I have referred this CU to over 100 people and tried in the past to get credit for it but haven't bothered pursuing, too busy working all the time!

Was great until they removed the ability to pay credit card bill
The redesign of this app is miles better than it's predecessor. The use of FaceID is a nice touch as well. Basically anything you can do in Mobile banking you can do via the app. One issue though, they REMOVED the ability to pay your credit card bill. Well, technically you're still able to, but all the app says is "For credit card bills, use the account transfer function." Alright OnPoint, that's all well and good, except there's NO indication that the transfer goes through, or that the bill has been paid for. This is my credit we are talking about, I need to know if my bill has been paid. It needs to be clear and it should NOT have just been removed as a separate function in the app. I'm bewildered as to how this change happened. I just want peace of mind knowing my bill has been paid.

Great improvement
I have banked with OnPoint for many years now, and I must say the current version of their banking app is great! A huge improvement from the original version. I ended up banking at a different local credit union for a year or two recently, and upon returning to OnPoint they had rolled out the new version of their banking app which made all the difference to me. Much more user friendly and smoother operating patterns. The only improvement I could see being necessary is more consistent account linking. If I have need to link an application to my banking data through OnPoint I almost always have to call and confirm. Other than that I have no qualms. Great application!

It’s Very Okay
I’m sure it’s hard to compete with all experiences like Bank of America can provide. I’m sure their budget is 100x larger. Still, I’ve had enough problems with this app being down or sections of it giving error messages that it makes me think about switching back to a big bank sometimes. I’d rather not, though! Bank apps just need to always work. My biggest complaint is that this app does not allow deposits of a type widely used check format. Every time I try them it just gives me an error. It’s quite frustrating to need to drive to the bank because of one check type never working. I’m sure the team works very hard and I bet these issues will be resolved sometime soon.

Disappearing transactions
This apps make over is nice to look at and is more user friendly. I am able to smoothly transfer funds to my savings, set up bill pay and check my balance. For the most part this app does exactly what I need it to do. The only concern that I have is occasionally a transaction will appear deducting from my overall available balance on my ledger and then in the near future it will disappear for a few days making my available balance incorrect. I have learned to not rely on the available or pending balance and started to keep a written balance for the purpose of knowing where I stand with my monthly spending plan, this is an inconvenience and hope that this can be resolved so that I can trust that the balance I see is correct.

Somewhat disappointed, frustrated
I would like this app more if there was a way to list efficiently All my online payees. Despite going in to an OnPoint branch And spending at least an hour working with a consultant there, and despite the phone calls she made to tech support during this visit, I am still unable to pull up half my payees without Tapping another link to bring up the rest of my payees. It is also Sometimes difficult to get my computer to do a printout of the payments. I don’t know if that problem is in your system, or my printer. Also, as I’m older and slower, it times out, and I had to enter my bill payments four times last week. It would have been faster to write checks! I do like being able to use my iPad for banking.

Great app that keeps everything up to date
I love this app! Deposits show immediately. When you purchase things it immediately get deducted and since using this bank and app I have never been overdrawn on my kids accts as they know exactly what they have all the time. Other banks will deduct then put it back while processing then overdraw your acct and for kids learning how to budget it’s very frustrating! OnPoint is seriously the best bank I have ever been with and will always bank with them and recommend them to all my friends and family!

Foregrounding the app leads to a broke experience.
If you sign into the app via biometrics (FaceID or TouchID) and then background the app entirely when foregrounding the app you will no longer be signed in. This is fairly normal for finance apps but what isn’t normal is for there to be an unrecoverable error or a broken sign in screen presented when in this un-authed state. It requires force quitting the app and re-launching. An incredibly bad bug that has been in production for many many months and hasn’t been addressed in any of the frequent “bug fix” updates. If I had to guess, I would say this software development team relies on automation to catch all their bugs and since it’s hard to automate the scenario above, this issue is not in their bug backlog. They obviously don’t seek out user feedback because there are dozens of other reporters for this same issue.

Disappointment
After supposedly ‘fixing’ your system…..when I needed to check something in my account I found there was a large charge for which I’d not written a check. And there was nothing to say anything about it! This was very distressing to me as I try to keep careful check of what happens to my monies. It meant a trip to the bank, to bother an employee….which took him a long time to figure out….NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! It turns out that you lumped 2 checks to the state together even though they were not for the same issue…NOT ACCEPTABLE! Again, THIS WAS VERY DISTRESSING TO ME! Works well, I like it
I like this app. User friendly and easy to work with. You can do travel alerts without having to call the branch every time you go, you just notify the app. If you forgot to do that before departure you can just sign in and do it. I didn’t mess with the fingerprint portion of the app as my phone fingerprint app has never worked well. I just turned off all parts of my fingerprint function and didn’t mess with it. Have had no problem being booted out or locked out of the program. Doesn’t seem to have any bugs or glitches.

No problems yet !! And I’d like to say OnPoint Bank is very professional !! Honestly I’m two years I’ve only good experience with them. I would suggest them to anyone looking to switch banks or open up a account. The app is user friendly too very straight forward and practical and well thought out. Just a sample modern look and style!! They’ve made it easy to transfer money from checking to savings. To making credit card payments and loan payments. And to apply for loans too just a all around great app !! Good job guys 👍

Good.. not great
So far the app hasn’t necessarily given me any problems but I think there should a level of quality when it comes to the interface. I would suggest pulling inspiration from the Chase app or Finn by Chase. It’s beautifully simple and pretty to the eyes and most importantly easy to use. The bank emblem should be crisp and clear not fuzzy like a poor quality jpg. The other thing is when I make transactions the time it takes for the purchase to have made a change in my total funds should relatively instant I shouldn’t have to wait a entire day or longer to see how much I spent and how it affected my total funds. This bank has amazing standards and as someone in social marketing, a great business needs a great app.

Costumer service rating
A unique approach to public interaction, one I greatly appreciate. Having come from the army and always dealing with large organizations whom see you as a number within their logistic framework. The small town approach lens itself to a level of comfort with your banking institution that makes one confident and secure, eliminating all worries that comes with todays modern banking. My branch is located in Albany Oregon inside Fred Myers grocery store, all the employees at that on point location sets the bar high for quality service, that is a winning templet to follow. Easy pzee
I find this app to be User-friendly, easy to read & understand. Categories are quick and easy to identify. While traveling we’ve used the app to pay on our loan, deposit checks, transfer money to other accounts and we even use the ATM locater to find local ATMs in order to avoid high fees charged by other banks. Being able to quickly access our account from anywhere in the country is important to us and having an app that’s as user-friendly as this makes life a little bit easier.

Piece of cake…
I love the fact that your app is so easy to use and it's really pretty as well. I also like the fact that I had been in an auto accident by an uninsured driver and had been forced into bankruptcy. My own bank declined me for a car loan, even though I have been with them a long time and have great credit. You guys gave me a car loan at a nice interest rate and I'm incredibly grateful. I'm a very short time away from the bankruptcy to be off my record and I'll be, driving around in a safe car with a flawless credit rating. I'm grateful. ~Jenn

I would give 5 if . . .
I love the app however there are some improvements that can be made. I am in a remote location and I depend on the mobile app 1. The bill pay portion is cumbersome and often times it takes a long time to load or doesn’t load at all 2. The bill pay portion is difficult to update existing accounts 3. Mobile Deposit. I often have to try to deposit checks multiple times. For some reason there is an issue and the request isn’t accepted These are some frustrating aspects of the app I hope this helps and will result in some improvements.

Very user friendly app
We’ve kept our OnPoint CU account since moving out of state almost seven years ago, largely in part due to this app. I almost forget that the closest branch is about 2,000 miles away. Able to locate partner banks and ATMs easily in the Midwest or wherever we go. Entire range of features and information available. autopay and electronic bank to bank transfers, etc. Security features and notifications keep us informed. Just need a new debit card (got buried somewhere in the mail). don’t change a thing about your app, it’s OnPoint!

A little buggy, but still works just fine
The app overall is very good and easy to use. The only complain I have is reopening the app; it sometimes kicks me out. Like for example say I opened the app earlier in the day and then just tried opening it later on in the day. If you did not FULLY close out of the app then it has a tendency to close whenever you tap anywhere on the app. You can fix it by fully closing out so it’s not a huge issue. Other than that I think it’s super easy and convenient to use.

OnPoint app
My other bank’s app texts me immediately when a deposit or debit has been made on the account, and gives me my running balance in the same text that notifies me of the activity. Today is Thursday. I just got a text about debit activity from Monday on my OnPoint account. Knowing what my balance is in real time with texts is so much more convenient than having to log into the app every time I want to see my transactions. The app is slow to load, and never changes from the picture of the girl at the table while it loads. Boring. The best thing about the app is that I can deposit a check with mobile deposit. Other than that, this app is on the bottom of the list for being useful/ visually appealing.

App is okay
Really need to see a “pending” deposit amount when I do a mobile deposit. Very inconvenient and a little disconcerting that the deposit is not acknowledged either in the app or on the web site even though I get an email. Wondering if the tech department is understaffed? Other credit unions do this. At least acknowledge that the deposit is there even though it may not be available for 1-2 business days. By the way, 2 business days is too many. And also by the way, the email acknowledgement does NOT mention that it won’t show up on your account for 1-2 business days. OnPoint seems to be really behind, tech wise. Wonder if they even look at these reviews for ideas of what customers are needing? My CU in Michigan was much more advanced—Lake Michigan Credit Union.

OnPoint is so helpful
I have been a very happy and loyal customer of OnPoint Community Credit Union since the early 1990’s, when it was still known as Portland Teachers Credit Union. In all these years I have felt supported and well taken care of by each and every employee with whom I’ve come in contact. Over the years, many other organizations have approached me with the suggestion that they might be able to offer better services to me. I don’t agree and have every intention of staying with OnPoint indefinitely. Thanks for all you do! ZB~

Does the job
App works decent. It feels like a miniature web experience rather than an app. It took a little bit longer to get used to where things are and there’s a little bit of digging involved for regular, frequent bank transactions. I would have liked to comment after my experience rather than before, but these are the things I remember from my overall experience. Update: i’ve been asked to update my review. This app works but nothing has changed since the last time I reviewed it. I decided to take away a star because there haven’t been any improvements.

Very frustrated, terrible APP
I can’t express enough how frustrated I’ve been with this app. When I try to pay my mortgage, it won’t show the amount due. I have to log into a computer to know the payment amount. Last month the payment was applied to the wrong account, despite me selecting the mortgage payment. This month, I set up auto pay for the mortgage account and it withdrew multiple times. When I cancelled the withdrawal, it showed it as canceled, but still over-drafted my account. Please don’t offer services on the App that don’t operate smoothly and function correctly. It has cost me hundreds of dollars in fees and hours of hassle. I want to support my local credit union, but it’s hard when big banks don’t have these functionality issues. I just want a smooth month of paying my mortgage.

OnPoint’s reliable
I have counted on OnPoint for decades, and have found them to be reliable, responsive, and consistently friendly. It’s convenient to have ATM access at every 7-Eleven store, as well as many other locations, without service fees. And with the phone app I can check balances, deposit checks, and transfer money 24 hours a day. Every change in OnPoint’s service has been an improvement! I highly recommend OnPoint to anyone wanting a consistent, supportive community bank taking care of their financial needs.

Best banking app from my favorite credit union!
I’ve been banking with OnPoint CU for well over a decade and I’ve seen their online banking services evolve from the primitive to the advanced. Their website is now among the best banking websites I use, and their app is perhaps even better, given its convenience. It’s never been so easy to check my balance, transfer funds, manage my credit card, all from my phone no matter where I am. The interface is intuitive, well organized, and fast. To borrow a famous phrase from Steve Jobs, it just works!

Mobile app
I was using quite a few different apps from banks to credit card by compare it with OnPoint app. Onpoint’s app hard to keep track spending it’s delayed updates credit card charges and have navigate to different page for viewing charges and to open up a statement. Also Auto menu kept popping up when scrolling they are super enjoyed to me, just keep menu’s OFF when I need I’ll toggle them. I wish future update to remove Auto menu popping up and after charging my credit card immediately should show current balance and newly charge appear right below it so I could easily track my spending. Online Banking Made Easy!!!
This new app is the best! It is easy to navigate and everything I need to know about my account is available through any of the options in the menu! I have never been able to keep track of an account this easily in my life!!!! For those of you that are not tech savvy this app is very easy to use and it is organized so well that when you get to the menu there is really no question you will have unanswered. So Convenient!
I just love being able to access my bank account on my phone. Having twin teenagers who will spend all our money in online games if allowed, I have developed the life hack of keeping the majority (sometimes all) of the money in Savings until I actually need to spend it, when I transfer the required amount to Checking. I can actually transfer it while waiting in line for the supermarket cashier and have it be valid by the time my turn comes. It’s awesome!

Slow to update deposit and transfer info
I find it frustrating that it doesn’t deduct the amount from my account when I transfer it to another account (either within OnPoint or to an outside account). I also find it frustrating that deposits don’t say something like “pending” after I’ve done a mobile deposit. I understand that it might take a day or two to enter my account, but I sometimes don’t remember if I’ve mobile deposited something and it doesn’t reflect in my account until it’s actually deposited. It just seems that with today’s technology, there would be a way to reflect when a transfer or mobile deposit is pending.

Good but not great
I have a problem with the bill pay feature. On my laptop when I pay bills I have to confirm the total after I’ve already entered the amounts of each bill I want to pay. Twice I’ve missed that confirmation and the bills went and paid. My suggestion is that this confirmation prompt should be much bigger and on the same page as the bill payments. Also I have trouble seeing the bills that have selected to pay but have not been reconciled yet. Last week I paid three bills twice because I couldn’t see where they’d been paid already on my phone app. Grrr. That upset me.

Functionally, it’s alright. The app takes a frustrating amount of time to load but that would be tolerable if it didn’t use the lowest resolution images I’ve ever seen in a iOS app. This has been an issue since the app was first launched, and I guess the developers just don’t care or notice? The OnPoint logo in the header is probably like 20x80 pixels… I was hoping with the most recent visual update that this would be fixed but no. Please if any developer reads this review, know that these things matter even if they don’t affect functionality. I cringe every time I open the app.

Terrible user experience
Broken interactions- for instance, you cannot use bill pay until you update mobile phone number- however the section you’ve state requires that info is not called that name. Also, when entered and refreshed and even logged out and in again, I was still blocked from Bill pay. I had to call and have a tech “push” the update. Lame. Also, I provided a vendor my checking account number and when they attempted the transaction, they indicated it was a savings account, so transaction was refused. Which is fine, however I should have been notified via SMS that a suspicious transaction had been attempted. I wasn’t notified at all. Very sketchy security for a credit union. Do better.

No Cons
I’ve always found the app easy to use. Everything visible at your finger tips. Something negative which I believe is across the board with any bank/cu is money taken out is ‘pending’ not accessible. Then the charge isn’t there anymore & the money is accessible, then everything posts at the same time it feels like & all of a sudden.. over drafted. I feel like the point of a bank is so I didn’t have to do math to know how much money was available.. Anyway learned that lesson.

App review
Overall, I really do like the app. I like the ability to connect to other banks. I like the ease of use. I would, however, like to see when the payment for bills gets sent. shows me when the it’s due to be delivered but I’d like to know when it was sent. There is an area when you’re looking to see what has been paid like groceries, gas that type of thing or money that you have sent to another account. Arrows going from one to the other but it does not indicate if it was stuff that came in or went out.
