Real piece of mind
Great app that really does give you a piece of mind on the road. I’m a new driver and don’t feel very confident that I can deal with an emergency situation where my car won’t start or I'd get a flat tire, etc. And of course, funnily enough, I was recently driving home from university and got flat mid-way through my trip. My dad’s got a GM sub and all the family members are included in the family plan. And thank god, haha! I was able to request assistance in a few minutes and it wasn’t long before help actually arrived, had to wait about an hour or so. The assistant I spoke on the phone with was very nice as well! He really made me feel safe while I was stranded in the middle of nowhere. Anyway, the team arrived, fixed my tire and got me back on the road as quickly as possible! I’m really glad I had OnStar to resolve this for me as I wouldn’t have known what to do otherwise. I would probably panic and start franticly searching for roadside assistance numbers, and then end up just calling my dad. Having access to the OnStar Guardian app gives me the comfort that, if I ever find myself on the side of the road again, I will be alright! I would definitely recommend it to any new drivers out there that feel like they wouldn’t know what to do if they suddenly ran into car trouble on the road. And the app is now open to non-GM users, which I think is pretty awesome as more people will be able to use the service.

Great relief
I have only had this app a short amount of time but it has done wonders. I recently added my elderly mother to my family plan, as she has been known to get in accidents when driving. So far it has been tremendous and has helped with my peace of my mind when my mum goes out on drives as she will be able to contact the appropriate services quickly if an accident happens. For the price of $15 a month it is definitely worth it knowing that all of my loved ones are safe and that they have quick access to emergency services. I can understand how some people may be hesitant of purchasing this due to the price but I would 100% recommend this app to anyone the price is worth it! I have added my husband and children in my OnStar Guardian family plan too.

Beware! Major Privacy issues!
I received the email from OnStar my service package would this new Guardian app where I can add my family, share locations with them and be protected in case of an emergency. Sounds great, right? After I downloaded and setup our family of four I started getting notifications for someone named ‘rielly’. No one in my family of 4 is named rielly, and I can see them all listed in the app. No extra people. Yet when Reilly’s battery gets low or the turn on and off permissions I kept getting a notification. So I called OnStar. They said they opened a ticket but there was absolutely no way whoever this Reilly person is could see my, or my family’s location. Fast forward a little over a week to today.. guardian app notification on my Lock Screen that Reilly has viewed my location! So now whoever this person is now knows WHERE I LIVE!!! Spent another hour on the phone with OnStar to get my account on the guardian app disabled completely and they still have no idea who this person is. Deleted all my family members and removed all location/microphone/tracking permissions. Made everyone else delete the app. Now at 1am, I get more notifications that Reilly’s phone is 7% and that “a family member has asked to view my location “. Yet everyone else in my house has completely deleted the app and I have turned off all permissions. This is awful - now I have to worry about someone stalking us. DON’T USE THIS APP!!!!

Should be called The Secret App
Onstar added this app to my plan, didn’t notify what it was and why the cost increased, just started charging for it. When I enquired about the additional cost I changed plans to a navigation plan and they can’t get half the crap to work in the Connected Services plan. About ready to say goodbye to onstar and go back to my phone. Terrible on customer support, paying $300+ a year for useless functions Update- Sounds like Onstar navigation with real time traffic only works on 2020 or newer vehicles. Learned from Onstar tech that vehicles older than 2020 require a subscription from SiriusXM and an add on traffic subscription for the complete navigation feature that Onstar says they provide. I have a 2019 GM. Seems like some of the other advertised features don’t work and there’s no explanation or description of the steps to check if they work. If the features don’t work with some vehicles-ONSTAR should disclose that information and explain why. They want you to be a dumb rock and just accept their vague plan with no explanation. So to get navigation to work properly some vehicles need Onstar and SirusXM, or a new 2020 radio, what a joke. Most of the Onstar support doesn’t even know how their plans work and if the features are compatible with the vehicle. So if you are paying for Onstar services on a vehicle older than 2020, you probably aren’t getting what you think you are getting. Sounds like a good case for a class action lawsuit—I’m in.

No Regrets so far
I was very hesitant to download this app at first due to the price of the OnStar Guardian app. However, I decided to give it a go because my children have just started driving and I am constantly concerned about their safety when driving about. I thought that with the features that this app offers it will be a beneficial service to purchase if it aids the safety of my children. The app has been brilliant so far and does everything that it says it would do! I am able to keep an eye out where my kids are when driving and it has been a huge relief. I definitely trust this app if any of them were to get in a crash or accident! I have no complaints so far and would recommend this app to any concerned parents.

Great addition to the new car
With my son turning 18 this year, we wanetd to get him a car for his birthday. A big factor for us when getting a car is my sons saftey. One thing that drew us to GMC is the OnStar Guardian app that you get with the car. With incredibly helpful servies such as mobile crash response, roadside assistance, emergency services and location services. The features that come with this app make me feel a lot more confident and comfortable with letting my son go off and drive on his own, as if in the case he gets in a crash or accident he will automatically get the assistance he needs through the app! THe app has offered a great deal of satefy and security for me and my husband with letting our kids go out on drives without us.

A parents worst nightmare
The 2 am call from your child. The initial panic seeing her number come across your screen and realizing something is wrong. The minute of a lifetime trying to break-through her tears to determine the situation when she says the nice lady from OnStar has help on the way. The 45 min drive to her location being informed step by step along the way was not only comforting but above and beyond. From Brianna to the Columbus police officer who stayed until the Allstate emergency assistance guys arrived, we say thank you.

Constant. Notifications. For everyone. No options to adjust
So the app seems ok for what it does and we wanted something to notify us when our teen driver leaves school and home and arrives etc… but do I need to know when my wife starts a drive, leaves home every time, arrives at XWY and again back home? No I do not. I do not see a way to adjust who and when you receive notifications. Seriously? This seems like an obvious and basic feature to customize. Developer emailed me and suggested turning off location sharing in the app - rather than allowing a simple setting to customize notifications for various family members. This is a glaring omission in the app. If I turn off location sharing, then my family cannot see where I’m at. Let’s just have an option to adjust what notifications are sent for different family members!

App doesn't work on most phones
This app the app field to type your password is BLOCKED by a Terms & Conditions two line sentence sitting on top of that app field. You can't type in your password on smaller screen phones. Small screen phones examples: Iphone SE 2016, Iphones older than 2016 Flip phones with small screens - Jitterbug ( used mostly by seniors, elderly or people on disability) - probably will not work Likely will not work due to limited RAM memory: Any older analog phone in the "free phones" service programs in US. Many have less than 16gb software space. What is factory installed takes up about 13+gb before any photos, music, or any other apps user may have installed such as but not limited to an app for shopping for groceries. What the problem is: It seems app designers / programmers made the page too long, planning for only large screen phones. The top message has too much padding above "Welcome" message and "We found you ..." message. Get rid of the padding and adding line breaks after the computer field line to type in password. Maybe the Need Help line could be deleted and put somewhere else? Hope this helps! Meanwhile - Billing doesn't seem to have a way to accept any accounts who can't use the App - or so I am told. This doesn't make sense when you can call in for Roadside assistance.

Not very accurate
I added this app for my family for our trip to Maine. I wanted to make sure my daughter and her friends were safe while walking around and while on the beach. So far I have found that it doesn’t update location when walking or standing still. My daughter went to a friend’s house and it took 10 mins before it changed her location from our motel to the house. Then she left and went to get pizza and it didn’t update for another 10 mins and when it did update it showed her as being in the middle of the ocean. The pizza place is a 320 steps from the ocean. I know this because they have painted feet down the walkway, across the street and out to the beach. The steps are 2 1/2 feet apart and the ocean is another couple of hundred feet from where they end. It don’t think it should be showing her even further than that and out in the ocean. Very scary!

Not good for a guardian
I installed this to help keep an eye on my older parent — I shouldn’t have to enable all of those permissions on my phone! You don’t need to track me. Very uncool. Update: your response was long winded and completely tone deaf. I am not looking to use this as an app to protect myself but to be able to watch over my older parent... stop forcing loved ones who don’t want your battery draining monitoring to opt in. There is ZERO reason why I cannot monitor and get alerts for my father who DOES opt in. Telling me that I have to give you these permissions when that isn’t my use case at all is seriously tone deaf to many people on here saying the same thing. Stop forcing us to give you our privacy when we don’t want to. Give us a warning in the app, sure; but don’t block us from seeing and protecting our parents.

Used to work great, now its garbage!!!
I use to use this app alit as my husband and son both have to drive some distance for work. I had never had any issues with this app and after one of these last updates, it doesn’t work for anything. I will go on the app to see where my family is in their commute, it will still show them at work, when they have been off for several hours and should be almost home. I will hitbthe update and it just spins and when it stops it says retry. I have deleted the app and reinstalled many times and it just continues to do this. I have also madevsure everyone has their location services turned on. The whole point of this app is in case of an energency, but if it cant locate them, what good does it do. Thank goodness I pay for Onstar for my car.

Very slow location tracker
My husband went to get us some dessert and they seemed gone for awhile so after one of our other son’s asked when they would get back with the treats I looked on the Guardian app which said they were home and had never left, I looked outside and the car was not here - they had been gone awhile at this point. The app never said they even left! Another app knew right where they were though and sent an alert they were on their way home. Please fix this as this is included in our membership and I don’t want to pay for two apps that do the same thing even though the other works better at this point.

Service is no longer a value
After years of using this service it has become a waste of money. Roadside assistance sent a wrecker driver for my new truck (alternator) and he was in country for 3 days spoke no English didn’t no how to use the truck controls damaged my driveway and gate as he sped out of my property. I reported this within minutes to both the towing company and onstar. Owner said he was coming out to fix the damage, never showed. Onstar said I’d be contacted in a few days never happened I have now paid for my own wrecker and reached out to onstar 6-8 times speaking to 12 people or more. It has now been 3 weeks plus and I have yet to be contacted by anyone to fix review damage. Again was on hold for 20 plus minute twice today for nothing. Lawsuit pending. Save your money.

Intrusive, battery hot, impossible to manage
Had to sign up for trial service to see if the app could do what I was looking for. To open the app you have to give it full access to your location or it won’t even open to let me cancel my trial. Canceling the trial is unclear and has no confirmation, I suppose I’ll check my bank to make sure they do what they are supposed to. I have gone back into the app after the developer replied that they were sorry. Still required access to your location to even access any of the app. Going back to the billing section shows that my attempt to cancel my plan did not work, there is supposed to be a confirmation windows but it doesn’t work. Essentially impossible to cancel without calling them.

App works better than before
Updating iOS causes guardian to log off Then when I log back in. It logs everyone else off Can’t get family safety to work anymore. Time to delete the app. Might as well discontinue Onstar. App is difficult to set up family. Not intuitive at all. Fails to add family member when sending invite To a cell # App NEED WORK —————- Uninstalled app and reinstalled on all family phones. Actually works better than it use to.

Never works
The app itself never works for me. I’ve tried cancelling my plan through the app and at first it showed an address and credit card that weren’t even mine. I thought maybe it was a glitch. I’ve tried several other times to cancel through the app and it always says error and to try again later. I’ve done an online chat and two phone calls with onstar and they all say my account has been deleted and I shouldn’t receive anymore charges. Come January and I’m charged again. They also said they’d refund me for the last three months the last time I called. No refund as of now and the app still isn’t working for me. This has become a bigger hassle than it’s worth. I would not recommend.

Unreliable, Glitchy, & Getting Worse
We have had this app for several years to keep track of each other, child safety, and elder safety. It never worked quite right giving false locations, randomly signing out members, and crashing. However, recently these issues have become far worse. It crashes regularly, fails to update locations for hours or days, signs people out repeatedly, and simply does not perform for the task it is intended for. Our phones are new, and the app is up to date. If this isn’t fixed and significant improvements are not made soon I will be forced to end this service in search of another that performs as intended.

Decent but needs more features like life360
It works and lets me know when my child has gone/arrived but I’m used to Life360 and love that their app can tell me all the driving info like speed of the car, phone usage, hard stops. Came in handy when I could see how the car she was in was driving unsafe and tell her to stop. Also helped when she got a ticket and we can see the street info and her history. Or when she’s driving through states to come home from college we can see location better. Gotta have these features with a teen or college driver away from home imo

Don’t like the app
This app drains my battery. I noticed that my battery state of charge was decreasing a lot faster than normal. I turned off the location on always and it was fine after that. I know any app that requires location on all the time will do this, but that’s not my main complaint. I can’t cancel the subscription to the app! Whenever I hit the cancel button, it goes back to the previous menu. I called the number provided in the app and it goes to OnStar (for vehicles), which this app has nothing to do with. They couldn’t help me and said a tech would call me next week. In the mean time the date where I get charged is quickly approaching. Nice trick OnStar. Make sure your customers can’t cancel on you!!!!

Just terrible customer service
New vehicle connections are a simple fail. Speaking to someone who has a headset that is loud enough to hear, speaks English as a primary language, or isn’t working through the same checklist the last five people are working through with no success, is nearly impossible. Good luck trying to work through a technical problem without having to wade through the persistent sales efforts. Also, good luck trying to figure out which service is absolutely necessary to continue use of some of the basic functions that GM sold you. Try to own more than one vehicle that is equipped with OnStar and see how that works for you also. Just horrible. Too many fails to give this a true review.

Idk what to title this
It’s 4:15am. I put in an online request for roadside assistance at 1:47am. Waited over an hour…no response. I called in and was told my request was sent, but it didn’t go all the way thru, so no one was dispatched to help me. I don’t know how that’s possible. She called back 3x over the next 2 hours to say that she was still trying to find somebody and no one was available. Both ladies I spoke to were very nice, but the service I received as a first time customer was very dissatisfying. I got no where in the 4 hours I was on the side of the road…alone. I’m still on the side of the road. Signing up for this was a last resort cause I thought it would help, but it didn’t. Will be cancelling ASAP.

Great app
When I’m home I turn off the Location feature in the app to save my battery. I was getting frequent messages telling me to turn Location service back on, which was annoying. I put that in a review and the developer contacted me quickly. They asked me to uninstall the app and reinstall it to get the most current version. I did and that solved the problem. Now I can turn off Location tracking and I haven’t gotten any messages to turn it on. Thanks so much!

Horrible customer service!!!
Signed up for trial and didn’t like the app. Canceled service before the trial ended, onstar charged my account called in customer service assured I would be refunded and account was canceled. Never received refund and was charged a second time the following month. Spent 3 hours on the phone with customer service hung up on after being on hold for an hour. Called back in they were unable to locate my account says that they can’t see the charges after I sent the copy of bank statements proving they charged me. Still can’t get refunded or verification that account is canceled. Absolutely horrible!!! Hours on the phone with no resolution STAY AWAY from this app!!!!

Help when I needed it
We were on our way home from an out of town funeral (all dressed up) when we had a flat tire. On Star knew our location, when we couldn’t even determine our unfamiliar exit we had to take. Within a short time, they sent someone to fix our flat & we were on our way home. What a relief !!! And it was TEXAS hot so we didn’t have to get all sweaty. On Star gives confidence you’re not alone on the road.

REALLY ANNOYING NOTIFICATIONS!
I am happy this app exists, but I am absolutely sick of the constant notifications every single time my phone moves in a vehicle. PLEASE create a way to disable them. I am afraid that if I turn off the notifications completely, I’ll disable the app in the event of an emergency. I am writing this on a plane right now because I got a notification to call 911 in the event of an emergency since I’m in airplane mode. Then when I came out of airplane mode, I got another notification that the app is connected again. Every time I pull out of my garage, music gets interrupted to remind me that OnStar is there for me. PLEASE LET US TURN THESE OFF!!!!!!

Could be way better.
The location on this app only works about 25% of the time. We recently got back from vacation and according to the app, my wife is still 238 miles away…I refreshed it over and over and nothing has changed. A few weeks ago I used the roadside assistance option and I was on hold for almost 45 minutes before I hung up and had to call a local place myself. Being stranded stranded on the side of the road and expecting the service I pay monthly for to work shouldn’t be a stretch. There are better apps out there that do what this app is supposed too. This app just isn’t worth it.

Always uses location permission
Would really like to use this app to get the most out of my onstage services but sadly the app forces you to use background always on location permission. I do not enable that for ANY app. Would like to see this fixed to support only while using location perm. It absolutely does not need my location when I’m not using the app. That’s also a major battery drain as well. Those features which “require” always on should be optional. And, I’m a dev, not a fool. Nothing requires always on. I also don’t appreciate being lied to. Like I said, I don’t have a single app allowed to use always on, and I promise you, onstar won’t be the first.

App frequent crashes
App frequently crashes and declines my email and password needing to reset it frequently then gives error messages for technical difficulties. When I called Support to ask if the app was having difficulties I was told to use the button in the car. When I explained that if my family has the car and I am not in the car, I can’t use the button and need to use the app which isn’t working - Support told me to use the app - which I had just spent 15 minutes telling them wasn’t working despite uninstall/reinstall x 3. When I repeated that, they kept telling me I could use the button the car or the app. Seriously?

The wrong move at the wrong time!
You never should have done a Sundown but rather offer both 2.4 and 5G. People cannot afford new cars right now and most programs on my phone use 2.4 and would not work with 5 for controlling things like my alarm system and thermostat. Isn’t it bad enough they are trying to do away with gas driven cars when people cannot afford and do not want the electric cars.

Not useful for emergencies
Think I pay 30 a month for this, only have it for opening/starting car if I don’t have my keys, if my vehicle is stolen or to alert me if my work vehicle is being broken into Every time they change the app or my phone updates it loses the password and becomes useless I spent 20 minutes on the phone when we originally set this up to make sure I would be notified by text and call if anyone was breaking into my work vehicle- now the app has updated AGAIN and has lost my phone number Have wasted 20 minutes trying to reset the password etc Totally over this and think it is a waste of time and money

Great app/service - needs Apple CarPlay support
I really like having this service as I have a non GM vehicle and I don’t have onstar built in. Plus, it travels with me in any vehicle. It would be awesome if you could make it work with Apple CarPlay so I could quickly access the app from my vehicle screen to call. Especially in a situation where you want to be a Good Samaritan and call for help for someone else who’s had an accident.

Current location not accurate
So I am on star user guardian for the first time ever. Love all the features and safety it provides but with this app we are allowed to add family for location. Well I check on my daughter frequently… for two days it said she was down the street (when she was at work) and today it has her off the coast of Ecuador and she just left the house. We don’t live in Ecuador nor have we ever been. So I’m hoping the location gets better within the app , just in case she needs it in an emergency and she’s nowhere near the location. Just speaking as a concerned parent.

Cool concept but a battery killer
My brother gave me access to this because he’s an OnStar subscriber. I like the idea behind the app especially that I drive a lot but this app is draining the battery of my IPhone SE 2. Will probably only activate it when going on extra long trips and my phone is plugged in. Kind of disappointed because I drive all day for work and would love to know this is working in the background but for now I just can’t be bothered keeping my phone plugged in and unplugging every time I leave the car which is multiple times during a regular day.

Not even a star could rate this app
Worst app ever is the second time that I have had a problem with Guardian app first time I got into a crash they were nowhere to be around and I was hold off to the emergency room and I called them and asked why and they didn’t even know I was in an accident? Now I’m sitting in a dangerous neighborhood in San Francisco waiting for gas and I’ve been here for five hours and then one of your assistance calls me and says that I can walk to the gas station because I’m a few blocks away? Are you serious and they’re still just gonna come give me 1 gallon of gas for this I should get $100 gift card and a full tank!

Battery Hog
I enjoy the features of the Guardian app. I do not connected to my car through the instrument that plugs into the port. I only use the emergency features on my phone. But to that end, this app is a battery hog. It consistently stays at the top of my battery usage list and I noticed a marked difference in how long my battery lasts per day. Ultimately they had to uninstall this app because I didn’t care for the battery usage. But otherwise, a very functional app.

Works as designed
I drive an older Chevy that uses the 2G network that’s going away soon so I got the Guardian app. I was sitting at a red light and rearended pretty hard by a large pickup. The app immediately tried to get my attention and when I didn’t say anything at first (I was still processing what just happened) it called emergency for me. This is a great app and I highly recommend it.

Pretty good App but needs more functionality
Can’t see important info like when my plan renews so I know when I need to make a decision to continue or not rather than finding out the day after it renews itself. Also, I’m not sure how OnStar and my Chevy app are linked in what’s included with the My Chevy app for free versus the OnStar app as they seem to be intertwine somehow. Been using about a month and a half, and will gladly raise the rating if it’s not too difficult or times taking to find these things out.

Uncertain…
I’ve gotten several emails from onstar touting this ‘guardian’ program - and after reading the description and reviews, I’m wondering why I would need this?! It has a location feature which I feel is the same as the find my iPhone/android and apparently doesn’t even work properly), the crash sensor is automatic with onstar already in my vehicle. Not to mention almost EVERY review speaks about it being a HUGE battery drain… Why do I need this app again? So it can detect a crash (maybe) that me or a family member might be in in a vehicle w/o on-star? I’m not giving up on star- I love it, but why the app again?

Great when it works!
I have been on the phone now for over a month with Onstar and Cadillac. My apps won’t work! They say I have an account, but won’t sync. Onstar was supposed to call me back with a third person to try and fix it and never did! I cancelled my husbands roadside assistance through our cell plan, because I was able to add him to my Onstar guardian family connect plan. Now he has no coverage because his app won’t work either! I’m paying for coverage but can’t use it! Frustrated.

Before I start this review, please note, I have already uninstalled and reinstalled so developer, If you tell me to do this, I have already done it. do not waste your time writing that. This app does absolutely nothing like it supposed to. shows my family miles away from where their actual location really is, not to mention it does not alert you when they arrive nor leave one of my saved locations. what’s the point of having that as a feature if it doesn’t work? truly feel like I’m paying $15 for a complete garbage of an app.

Guardian Safe
My new GMC has On Star, but my 2013 Chevrolet does not. Seeing that GM now provides the Giardian app on my and my wife’s phones we still have the comfort of knowing that we still have the blanket of protection and safety of On Star. We again have peace of mind knowing that professional assistance is one little blue button away! Thank you GM for keeping your customers safe.

Data Harvesting App / Avoid if you care about privacy
My father purchased this service in advance of a long road trip and granted access to his location to his children so we can track his trip. In order to access the app interface, however, the app requires each “viewer” to grant access to our phone’s microphone, fitness data and location. The GM website for the app then makes clear that this data is being harvested and sold. This is entirely inappropriate and deceptive on GM’s part and I recommend using other services that are not predicated on invading the privacy of customers.

Good so far
Downloaded was easy, seems easy to use! No problems with app so far! So my husband and daughter both have Chevy cars, I am the only one who has the Onstar activated in my car, I pay the monthly charges, love onstar for gps directions and the onstar app to locate my car, start car and unlock/lock doors! So this app will work for both my husband and daughter even though they don’t pay for onstar services?

NIGHTMARE SERVICE!
If you pay for this service, it will cost an additional $15 per month. The regular OnStar and Connected Services cost $9.99 per month. If you try to cancel these services, the OnStar customer service representatives will harass you to stay. The whole process is like nails screeching on a Chalkboard! They also double charged me $9.99 for this month. I am beyond furious, thanks to your ridiculously shady sales tactics. OnStar does not have a Better Business Bureau rating, but they do have over 69 complaints regarding the cancellation policy. Or lack there of. Save yourself the heartache and refuse OnStar’s services.

Unreliable
Every time I open it and check on a family member it says updating, even when they're in their vehicle and not inside a building. However, every time somebody's inside a building it never gives you live data. We've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and various data connection methods with no luck. I'm throwing money away every month for something that does not work. Looking for an alternative so I can cancel this useless service.

Seems buggy
I set mine up after buying a new Chevy. The app seems super buggy. For instance the screen tells me there’s no internet connection (wrong: there is) and anything you do takes to to the terms of use screen, which you accept and then you get shown a privacy terms screen which you also accept. It does this repeatedly. I have no idea if I can rely on this app in an emergency. I guess time will tell.

Useless kinda
I had to call them and give them an address to locate my car instead of just putting it in the screen like I normally would have .. I do appreciate one of the workers telling me it’s a hardware issue I have that was causing my inconvenience. I know onstar is suppose to come equipped in the cars actual body of a vehicle on ANY 2015 Chevy and not the rear view mirror that’s aftermarket pfffttttt. That’s why the app gets 3 stars for the ladies honesty. Good luck y’all.

What’s the point of this “add-on” service?
There is literally NOTHING this forced service adds—except 5 dollars more to my bill. Everything this forced “addition” to my essentials plan adds, is something my iPhone can already do on its own. Why would I want to pay extra for location tracking when the iPhone can literally do that without any software addition? Also, roadside assistance and tow is included through my car insurance. Even cross platform tracking doesn’t add any value—since you can do that for free through Google Maps.

Doesn’t work without constant location access
This is the companion app to the satellite-connection service that we’re charged too much for. The car has satellite connectivity, why does the app need to constantly check my location (and run down the battery)? You can’t set up the app without turning on precise location and if you turn it off later the app reverts to setup. Deleting the app. If someone steals my truck I’ll call onstar. Apps for services they don’t need apps are just vehicles for push notifications.
