A few years ago we made good use of My Jobs, but recently it’s become a hit or miss if it will let you in. Looks like work management has been integrated into this app now. Looking forward to when op app can do everything my jobs used to do for us. I really like the feature in MyJobs where you could toggle to map view and see where all the fields are at for a specific job. Also looks like guidance lines have found their way into the app now when u go to create new work. Nice!! Looking forward to the day when you can manage lines and boundaries from the app. (Rename, Archive or Permanently Delete) Also, managing RTK networks by field would b a handy feature. This apps found its way right onto the main screen on my phone. It’s really become quite useful. Use it almost daily through the season.
Have a brand new 780 combine and for 2 weeks MTG has not work . John Deere would not let my dealer replace the MTG and it has took forever to get parts to fix it . Finally yesterday they let them replace the MTG it has been very frustrating! So could not use the app Now that the MTG. Is working the app is great everyone on the farm can see what the harvest is doing pretty quick and it lets them make decisions on how the crop is doing!
The opcenter is good in some ways and not in others It’s not user friendly It takes too many steps to get information at times The information is usually there but not readily available without making several choices to get to it Also I have had data there then it’s gone and we have to contact our data rep who contacts pct or Deere rep to try to get it back When u click a field on the maps part there should be one button that pops up everything done in that field per year There should also be a simple way of picking client farm field without scrolling through all the fields Pick it by farm not by every field Some of us have over 100 fields Simplify My farm uses the op center daily all year long It has potential but needs to be user friendly Take a look at agdna Their pages r very user friendly Also rename things Stop calling crop imagery crop sensing Use basic terms. Their r many farmers I know that do not utilize the app because they can’t figure it out Know your customers
For custom operators going to fields you’ve never been to before do not trust this app to get you there. It will occasionally take you miles away from where you want to go and leave you in the middle of nowhere for no reason. It’s bad enough when you’re in a pickup, but disastrous when you’re driving a combine. I wish its interface with google maps would let you just manually drop a pin at the field and navigate to the pin instead. I’ve been complaining to my dealer about this for over a year now.
Use app every day for the last year and it’s worked great up until after latest update. Customer profiles are lethargic to load, and went into my dealer org and it is stuck loading the recent operations page. At first I was able to bring up the map but it froze loading the equipment. Now it’s stuck on operations and can not get out of it.
Great app when it works but here lately will not track movements on GPS can be driving down the road to next place and will not follow you or show your location unless you keep pushing the location arrow
Leaps and bounds more user friendly than apex; however, I’d like to be able to click individual data points or circle a small area within the field to see rate/yield/etc.
For an app for the operations it is very hard to use on a phone when you want to check up on how things are going out on the field or even to reference certain data from a particular field. I realize that from a phone certain thing are not possible but the easy of use is pathetic with this app
It is great, on the very rare occasions if & when the app decides it wants to work. The GUI lag is insane. Then if the app decides the GUI input is accepted the app times out the the second you try to tap the equipment you’re searching. In the short, 0 stars were not given simply because it is not an option.
Coverage map during the day is almost non existent. Actually it is terrible! I want to see my sprayers and planters coverage maps upon request. You need help on this !
I’d like to be able to see the variety yield and yield variations due to speed, soil type, moisture, etc. also would be nice to send data from cloud to combine with phone.
Im a john deere technician using the app for work (or trying to). Its a cool app and concept but when you go to map view it freezes. I have an iPhone SE, not sure if its the same on newer devices, but the app is pretty useless without the map.
It seems it was more up to date and would update better last year. It is a very nice tool to keep track of things, just wish it was more timely. Chet Beckley
Crashes constantly. Takes forever to load data from a dealer standpoint when partnered with a bunch of partners. Used to be awesome, lost a lot of luster
I thought the older version was great. The updates make it hard to find fields in the search bar. Also it’s hard to find summary’s and difficult to navigate though items.
